The Great Eagle Bow
The Rito celebrate Link's victory and the return of Medoh to their side. Paya has her first traumatic encounter as a warrior.
Tropes:
- Action Girl: Paya takes out the monsters attacking the travelers herself, with the only help she gets being from Link using Urbosa's Fury.
- Breather Episode: Link gets a chance to spend some quiet time with the Rito, and also learns from a letter from Fyson about Tarrey Town. And then subverted at the very end which gives Link and Paya a violent encounter.
- Doppelgänger Attack: Paya uses her clones to mow down weaker Bokoblins.
- Foreshadowing: The monsters ignored the dead Hylian, resources included, to attack a Yiga Clan member.
- Hand Seals: Paya uses these in her attacks.
- Impaled with Extreme Prejudice: This is how Link kills the Yiga Clan member.
- It's a Long Story: Link says this when Saki asks about Link's healing powers.
- Once More, with Clarity: For once, the reader sees what it looks like from the perspective of regular folks when a Divine Beast is freed. The people saw Medoh turn from magenta to blue and then suddenly land on the village top.
- Took a Level in Badass: Paya helps to fight a bunch of monsters, and does a very good job using her clones to attack, as well as summoning Giant Kunai.
- "Where Are They Now?" Epilogue: Link receives a letter from Tarrey Town detailing some of the things that have gone on in Tarrey Town since the last time Link was there, including a sudden romance between Hudson and Rhondson.
- Wounded Gazelle Gambit: Link and Paya encounter a traveler under attack from monsters, and after they save her, she transforms into a Yiga and tries to kill them.
