Despite the title, all cats (including those in extinct subfamilies) are included. ^note To be technical, only some cats are considered "felines" in taxomony and the cat family as a whole is classified Felidae, but people are generally more familiar with the term 'feline'. To count, the work must feature a cat as the main protagonist(s), the main threat, or otherwise central to the plot; merely having a cat in it doesn't qualify.
