Tropes:
- Beach Episode: "Beach Baby" takes place on a beach with Mino in a swimsuit trying to get Rupert to join her in playing in the water.
- Bilingual Bonus: Jack's speech is peppered with German words. He curses in German too.
- Brutal Honesty: After Jack reads Rupert's book, he tells him that he didn't like it while maintaining a smile on his face when he says it.
- Half-Human Hybrid: It is established that humans and cats are able to have children together. The hybrids can have either cat ears, human ears, or both.
- Humanity Ensues: Following a passing meteor, all cats in the world became humanoid, only maintaining their ears and tails.
- Pun-Based Title: The comic's title sounds very much like You've Gotta Be Kidding Me!
- Take That!: When Mino is left home alone while Rupert goes to help his sister, she considers playing "Attention Impact", but states it lost her attention due to how tiresome the grinding is.
- Worth It: After getting tangled in some curtain cords, Mino state it was worth playing with them. Becomes subverted once she gets even more tangled as she then begins hoping that Rupert doesn't work overtime with a panicked look on her face.
