Garfield Lasagna Party is a Party Game developed by Balio Studio, published by Microids, and released in 2022 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.

In this game, you play as Garfield, Odie, Nermal, or Arlene, and take turns moving around a virtual game board. Each character takes turns rolling dice and collecting lasagna and coins. Coins can be used to buy items at the store to help you or sabotage your opponents' efforts, and lasgna increases the player's score. Each game has a select number of turns, and the player who ends up with the most lasagna when the game ends wins. In between turns, players play mini-games. The better they do at them, the more lasagna they will earn, though the losers are given coins as consolation prizes.

Garfield Lasagna Party provides examples of the following tropes:

  • Banana Peel: When one player rolls, the other players can choose to spend two coins if they have them in their inventory to use the banana peel. Each banana peel used takes one space away from the total number of the player's roll.
  • Cat Concerto: The "Cats' Band" mini-game involves the players playing their instruments on the fence, and since Odie, a dog, is one of the four playable characters, the band isn't just limited to cats. Garfield is on trumpet, Odie is on triangle, Nermal is on drums, and Arlene is on guitar.
  • Eating Contest: The "It's Time to Eat" mini-game involves the players partaking in this kind of contest. Pressing the right button combinations quickly will make your character eat faster. The character who eats the most by the time the time limit ends wins.
  • Every Pizza Is Pepperoni: Played with in the "Slice & Dice" mini-game; while there are toppings such as mushrooms and spinach as well as pepperoni on the pizzas, the goal of this mini-game is to cut the pizzas into slices, making sure that each slice has exactly four pieces of pepperoni on it. Each slice with exactly four pieces of pepperoni on it earns the character one point.
  • Fire-Breathing Diner: In the "Featherweight" mini-game, the player who eats a chili pepper will breathe fire, which takes one point away from their score.
  • Fishing Minigame: The "Catfish" mini-game involves the players fishing. The goal of this mini-game is to catch as many fish as possible before time runs out. The bigger the fish, the more points they are worth.
  • Pie in the Face: The "Catapulted Pie" mini-game involves the players using catapults to launch pies at a dog who resides in a doghouse in the distance. The player who hits the dog the most times wins.
  • Player Elimination: There are several mini-games where the player can end up eliminated. Depending on the type of mini-game, they can continue until either the last player remains or time runs out.
  • Press X to Not Die: The "Rodeo Drive" mini-game involves the players on steers, and having to press the analog stick in the right direction within the time limit to stay on their steer. Pressing the wrong direction or the right one too late will cause your character to lose a heart. Lose all three hearts and your character is eliminated.
  • Roll-and-Move: On the game board, each player rolls a die to move the allotted number of spaces, which ranges from 3 to 7. The players who aren't moving can use power-ups to sabotage the move of the player who is moving, but if the player has a certain power-up in their inventory, they can use it to protect their roll from the other players. The player who is rolling can also use additional power-ups to add extra spaces to their roll if they have them in their inventory. Landing on a coffee space will earn the player a Super Die, which will allow them to roll a number between 5 and 10 on their next turn, and landing on a pillow space will earn the player a Sleeper Die, which will allow them to roll a number between 1 and 3 on their next turn.
  • Shell Game: The "Bulk Pizza" mini-game involves five pizza boxes, each with different amounts of pizza slices in them, being shuffled around. The more slices of pizza that are in the box the player chooses, the more points that player will get. If the player chooses a box that is empty, they will be eliminated from the mini-game.
  • "Simon Says" Mini-Game:
    • In the "Perfect Profile" mini-game, the player must press the right button at the right time to strike the corresponding pose and win points.
    • The "Cats' Band" mini-game involves the players playing their instruments atop a fence. Pressing the right buttons at the right time will earn the players points.
  • The Smurfette Principle: Of the four playable characters, Arlene is the only female one.
  • Snowball Fight: The eponymous mini-game has the players throw snowballs at their opponents to score points while avoiding getting hit.
  • Stealth-Based Mission: The "Under the Light" mini-game involves the players trying to eat as much lasagna as they can while avoiding Jon's spotlight as it roams across the backyard. The player who gets caught in the spotlight loses points.
  • Weapons That Suck: In the "Forbidden Invasion" mini-game, the players use vacuum cleaners to suck up spiders and flies. The more spiders and flies they suck up, the more points they will earn.
