After the debuts of LazuLight and OBSYDIA, a second set of auditions were held for English-speaking talent. Nijisanji EN's third wave, Ethyria, was born from these auditions; they debuted in October 2021.

Ethyria

In general

Five-Token Band: Reimu is the Spicy Latina, while the rest are Canadians, but with different ethnicities. Enna and Millie have Chinese and Filipino ethnicities, respectively, something that's carried over from their human lives. Nina has some Russian roots.
Four-Temperament Ensemble: Nina is Phlegmatic, Millie is Sanguine, Enna is Melancholic, and Reimu is Choleric. Nina is the mature mother figure, Millie is the unpredictable, extroverted gremlin who causes chaos, Enna is the depressed and brooding introvert who needs an extrovert like Millie to come out of her shell, and Reimu is the Spicy Latina with a hot temper.
Heterosexual Life-Partners: Millie and Enna are very close to each other, having known each other since their human life and having reunited in hell. They also have a lot of trouble trying to kiss each other because it's awkward for them, and they needed a push to finally seal the kiss.
Light/Darkness Juxtaposition: This wave stands out from the other English waves, as LazuLight, Luxiem and ILUNA are the light waves, and OBSYDIA, Noctyx and XSOLEIL are the dark waves, but Ethyria is the balanced wave, having members from hell and heaven. Nina and Enna are from heaven, while Millie and Reimu are from hell. Subverted, as Enna used to be a resident of hell alongside Millie, but she got kicked out of hell to serve in heaven, with OBSYDIA even pointing out that the ratio is 3:1 in favor of hell. Because Ethyria is supposed to be the balanced wave, they don't have any counterpart units like the rest.
New Transfer Student: Their debut program on the NIJISANJI EN channel takes place in a classroom setting, and the stream even has "TRANSFER STUDENTS?!" in the title.
Seasonal Baggage: The sub-unit zuttoღo is comprised of the three remaining members of Ethyria plus Petra Gurin, previously unofficially known as NijiUK (Unbelievably Kracked (at video games)). The official formation of that sub-unit comes with seasonal-themed outfits: summer for Reimu, autumn for Enna, and winter for Millie.
This Loser Is You: A Running Gag of this wave is that they often call themselves the worst wave or forgotten wave of the English branch and that they will soon graduate together. Their announcement of their second outfits even starts with a paper saying "We're graduating...". Although that's a lot of Heroic Self-Deprecation.
With Friends Like These...: They will often go at each others' throats, even when they're supposed to work together.

A-Cup Angst: She's very displeased about her flat chest and would often use someone else's asset to overlay big boobs over her own chest. One reason why she invited Scarle for the ridiculously short livestream was to get access to Scarle's model and use her boobs for herself. Naturally, Millie's silhouette from Ethyria's new outfit announcement gathered a lot of attention due to the seemingly large increase of her chest; not only does Millie have three different hashtags for her new outfit that all tie to her apparent "growth", one of said hashtags becomes a trend on twitter, with over ten thousand tweets being posted in less than 24 hours after the announcement. The Fanservice Pack ultimately turns out to be a scam and she's still as flat as ever. She's upset that the laces on her dress have Jiggle Physics, but her breasts do not.
Accidental Innuendo: On Shu's Birthday stream Millie says that if they meet up in real life she'd let him tap her ass. Which she, Luca, and Enna thought as simply a slap instead of the more perverted implication which horrified the other streamers.
Affectionate Nickname: She and Enna call each other "Babu".
All Witches Have Cats: Lucie is a demon with a cat form who forged a pact with Millie.
All Women Are Lustful: She is certainly very open about hitting on some of the other members.
Animal Motif: Millie is the "cat" of Ethyria. Her hair clips allude to whiskers, she has a Playful Cat Smile and a cat familiar, plus her second costume is based on a Cat Girl.
Art Evolution: On July 30th, Millie is the seventh EN liver to receive a 3.0 brush-up. Just like Reimu before her, Millie gained visible teeth as well.
Boob-Based Gag: Literally. Since her model actually lacks boobs, she will use third-party assets or steal assets of her colleagues to either attach them on her model or do bizarre things like making them comically large or putting them on the screen with no head attached to them.
Born Lucky: When it comes to the NIJISANJI Koshien, it's been noted by Petra that any team that had Millie in it ended up winning the whole tournament, with Marie and Kotoka commenting that maybe Millie is the lucky charm. It should be noted that in 2023, Millie was a member of Shiina's team, who is also well known for her big luck.
Burn the Witch!: Her backstory involves her home, her grandmother, and herself all put to the flame by an angry mob.
Can't Live Without You: She and Lucie will die if they're more than five feet away from each other.
Cat Girl: Her Queen of Clubs outfit has a cat tail and cat ears which come from her fusion with Lucie, although they are detachable.
Cardboard Box Home: As part of her Perpetual Poverty, she apparently lives in a cardboard box inside Elira's basement.
Chess with Death: The final layer of The Underworld in the first Halloween Special had chat play a round of Rock–Paper–Scissors against Lucie in order to come back to life.
Child of Two Worlds: She is a witch from the Philippines but currently resides in Canada. She has discussed the cultural differences between the two, such as the state of video games in the Philippines versus North America.
Circles of Hell: Her first Halloween Special involved Lucie guiding the dead (from a lethal cheesecake) viewers through the 6 layers of The Underworld (instead of The Divine Comedy's 9 due to budget and time restraints a.k.a. the assets corrupting) with 99 Video-Game Lives, though Lucie made the whole thing up. The layers include:
- Limbo - Lucie voicing over mundane dread like missing a bank payment or not being able to sleep before an important day.
- Lust — A slideshow of mildly risque NijiEN art with the goal of not chatting for a minute. Chat being chat, the goal was shortened down to 10 seconds.
- Gluttony — Guessing which liver cooked which meal.
- Malding — Keeping track of how many times the livers swore.
- Dread — Navigating through the woods with a Jump Scare for going down the wrong path.
- SCAM — Turns out Lucie poisoned the cheesecake and set up the challenges out of boredom with a final best-two-out-of-three game of Rock–Paper–Scissors to go free. After a few rounds of mutual Poor, Predictable Rock, chat eventually got a Paper majority.
Covert Pervert: Who would have thought that the adorable witch girl could be such a maniacally huge pervert.
Crippling Overspecialization: Downplayed. While she focused on maximizing her attack like certain explosion loving witch, she also tried to upgrade the rest of her stats. Unfortunately, her Intelligence stat just won't budge...
Cute Witch: This is the concept of her character.
Devil's Pitchfork: Her wand is a black fork, as in a devil's fork. Her Queen of Clubs outfit has a giant golden fork as a staff.
Dumb Blonde: Based on her RPG-like stats, her Intelligence is of -3. She also forbids her chat to use complicated words.
Elemental Rock-Paper-Scissors: As if it were an RPG, Millie has resistance and weakness against certain elements.
- She's resistant against Fire, Plant, Ghost, Dragon, and what looks like Luck.
- Instead, she's weak when confronted to Water, Light/Holy, and Eggplant.
Everybody Hates Mathematics: States Math as one of her dislikes.
Exposed to the Elements: Her zuttoღo outfit is winter-themed, yet it exposes a lot of her skin, mainly her legs and shoulders. If she removes the jacket and scarf, it doubles as a summer outfit.
Fangirl: Her oshi is Maimoto Keisuke from the main branch. She managed to talk to him on a few streams, she always gushes over him whenever he retweets her tweets, and during NIJISANJI Koshien 2023, she wrote a fanfic of her feelings for him on Twitter (a.k.a. X) without naming him, but everybody knows it's him. She's devastated upon hearing that Maimoto's EN oshi is Selen.
Foreign Cuss Word: She'll let out a "Ay putangina"^note"Son of a bitch" or something similar every once in a while.
Foreign-Language Tirade: Dove into one on a livestream with indie Filipina VTuber Kaheru Orange.
Freeze-Frame Bonus: An unintentional one, but during her "Most random tierlist ever" stream, there's a brief second where Millie accidentally scrolls down and Yugo Asuma, who has already left the company by that point, can be seen in her tierlist inventory. Despite Yugo's departure, it is clear that Millie still regards him as one the EN branch.
Fusion Dance: Her Queen of Clubs model is the result of Millie fusing with Lucie.
Glass Cannon: She revels in bringing chaos and lewdness wherever she goes but is immediately on the backfoot if someone can counter her, which Nina notices and she confirms in her 2021 birthday stream.
God of the Dead: The first Halloween Special had Lucie reveal his full name and title to be Lucio Lucifer, Underworld guardian and keeper of human souls. Besides reviving the viewers, he saw fit to kill chat in the first place, have them go through his challenges, and kill them some more for failing, all for some amusement along with suggesting some more fun for next Halloween. He's also able to make a copy of himself in his domain to explain how he conducts business there while bonded with Millie.
Groundhog Peggy Sue: Her original song "輪廻 /Reincarnation" is about her despair and hopeful determination in repeatedly going back in time to make a timeline where Ethyria all lives. The cycle of death ends when Millie merges with Lucie and uses her newfound power to watch over every timeline forever to keep them safe.
Half-Human Hybrid: Half-human, half-demon with her life before VTubing spent in the underworld.
Heh Heh, You Said "X": She's guaranteed to laugh at the word "come".
Hidden Buxom: Subverted. She claims to have one, but that's just her being on copium.
I Want You to Meet an Old Friend of Mine: Millie's 2022 birthday totsumachi strongly goes against the VTuber convention of not referencing past identities, featuring numerous guests from outside of Nijisanji who are treated as old friends.
Lap Pillow: The first Halloween Special ended with Millie giving a lap pillow to chat out of concern after the lethal food poisoning.
Like Brother and Sister:
- She and Fulgur Ovid from Noctyx have this dynamic, as she would often try to tease him as much as possible, and he would response to it like a big brother would. Fulgur would prefer to be called "Uncle" instead.
- She later forms a similar dynamic with Wilson from Krisis, this time with her being the older (twin) sister. Them being Canadian and having the same hair and eye colors helps a lot.
Louis Cypher: Lucie, a demon cat whose stats are all 6's and the one who offered a pact to Millie. The first Halloween Special revealed his full name and title to be Lucio Lucifer, Underworld guardian and keeper of human souls.
Lovable Sex Maniac: Not to the same extent as Finana, but Millie would often bring up sexual topics at inappropriate times. She does surprisingly have some limits to what she can take.
Magnetic Hero: She has managed to persuade and draw a lot of EN members into playing Project Zomboid, group activity that has become a big series of streams on multiple channels that is on the verge of becoming as big as NIJISANJI's Minecraft series. Millie finds a way to play the game at least once per week, usually more than that, and there had been a period of time where she streamed nothing else but Zomboid. A multi-part movie series made of clips from multiple POVs has started on Enna's channel.
Marriage of Convenience: When Millie needed a new blender and her chat would "donate" her one if she got married, she jokingly married iPN on stream and immediately divorced him, with her having custody over the blender. This has become a Running Gag between the two, with Millie and iPN being divorcees and the fans encouraging iPN to fight custody over the blender. She also sang a parody of her "You've been scammed" song for the marriage/divorce.
Meteor-Summoning Attack: In Millie's backstory, Lucie wiped out the angry mob by summoning meteors on them.
Money Dumb: Her cat is the one who manages her money, since she doesn't know how to manage it herself.
My Country Tis of Thee That I Sting: Once justified her knowledge of Tagalog as making sense because she's from Hell, poking fun at her home country's perpetually sweltering weather.
No Ontological Inertia: In some non-canon twitter ramblings, Millie imagines how her jumping to different timelines to save Ethyria is what caused Luxiem and Noctyx to be transported to the present and how they'd have to kill her in order to return home.
Non-Indicative Name: She tries to pull this trope on Sonny's birthday stream (2023), as the two of them have a silly fight, with Millie saying she has a gun while Sonny says he has many guns and a bulletproof vest. Millie then says that she thought that a bulletproof vest would stop people from stabbing him. Sonny calls her out on this.
Sonny: You're just bullshitting right now. It said "bulletproof" in the fucking name! You can't just say that! You can't say "bullet-" and say it's knifeproof! What is wrong with you?!
Playful Cat Smile: Her default smile is this, and she's got the mischievous personality to match. Cats are her Animal Motif after all.
Poor, Predictable Rock: Lucie only picks rock for Rock–Paper–Scissors as seen in the first Halloween Special. Evidently, chat is the same having tied with Lucie six times.
Robe and Wizard Hat: She wears a black witch outfit, including a robe and a large hat. She usually takes it off during collabs, as it would otherwise cover the faces of other livers. The Queen of Clubs outfit doesn't have the hat on, but Millie can combine her old model with her new one, although the hat can only be put on her short-haired head, not the long-haired head.
Running Gag:
- Her hat (and sometimes Lucy) is much more beloved and desired than Millie herself. At one point, she made a dedicated hat stream where almost nothing was happening except the hat (and only her hat) being on the screen, and she's baffled by how many views and how much engagement this stream got compared to her regular streams, especially since it got the attention of her non-regular viewers.
- Millie's sexy voice, which has become a very iconic over the year of 2023.
- Her hat being so large that it literally overshadows her silhouette when zoomed in, which has happened on multiple convention promotions. When the roster portraits show the livers' silhouettes, Millie's is literally just all black and not even her background color is visible (or if it's her color, the portrait would be entirely filled in that color).
- Her "giant boobs" asset, which she not only uses on herself, but also on her ending screens.
Seasonal Baggage: Her third outfit, which comes with the official formation of zuttoღo, is winter-themed. Appropriately, Millie is the last of the four to reveal her zuttoღo outfit.
Sexy Silhouette: The silhouette of her second outfit is clearly meant to invoke this trope, unlike the other Ethyrian silhouettes. During the meantime of her fans predicting what her outfit will look like, a lot of them are predicting that her Fanservice Pack is just a ruse and that her big boob is either a big bell, another object or Lucie's head. The silhouette turns out to be fake, and five minutes prior to the reveal stream, NIJISANJI would post the real silhouette.
Ship Tease:
- She and Enna often joke about this and have no problems with the ship itself (fandom-wise), but when it comes to actual romance between the two, they are quite reluctant to do it and they need a push from others to kiss each other.
- Millie's 3-minute marriage with iPN has resulted in a Running Gag of her chat reminding her of their short-lived marriage. She will often deny that their relationship is a thing.
- Parodied with Kyo. She jokes about how she and Kyo have some romantic tension between the two of them, and they tried to play this up as much as possible during their PlateUp! collab. When she asks her chat if they would ship her with Kyo, the majority of them votes "no", with some of them bringing iPN up instead.
Signature Laugh: Her loud and gremlin-like way of laughing has lead many to call Millie's laughter a witch's cackle.
Singing Voice Dissonance: Millie usually speaks with a high-pitched nasal voice, but when singing, her pitch drops down to a powerful contralto that's almost indistinguishable from Enna's own singing voice.
Spoiler: Five minutes prior to the reveal stream, NIJISANJI posted the real silhouette of Millie's Queen of Clubs outfit.
Stylistic Suck: Her cover songs and original songs come with low-quality parody trailers as seen with "Marshall Maximizer" and "Identity". She also really likes to post 144px screenshots.
Tampering with Food and Drink:
- According to the MillieSanji Ep: 1 lore video, Millie came to Earth because Enna fed her a parfait laced with "Pomu Leaf", causing Millie to become addicted and start searching for more parfaits.
- The first Halloween Special started off with chat dying from Millie's cheesecake which was later revealed to be poisoned by Lucie.
The Tease: Millie has a tendency to act very perverted towards others, both towards the female and male members of Nijisanji. Examples include asking Oliver dirty words such as orgy and morning wood in Japanese, making Luca spit when he was asking for advice on how to be mean only to make slurping sounds after, and her wishing to slap her fellow group's butts when her 3D debut comes.
Too Kinky to Torture: There is almost nothing that this witch isn't into.
Troll: Millie would often try to trick her audience. For example, she has done a "silent stream" where she and her fellow livers talked as little as possible. Her collaboration stream with Scarle and Aia is two and a half minutes long (and most of it is just the intro and outro). The trailers for her songs are deliberately made in low quality, and her second outfit was teased with a fake Sexy Silhouette. The actual reveal stream ends up being a speedrun unlike other costume reveal streams, although part of it was because Millie had little time to prepare because of her health issues and she was still sick at the time of the stream.
True Companions: She is open about being close friends with Enna well before they became livers. She expresses relief that they both were accepted into Nijisanji and didn't have to deal with a situation where one got in over the other. They are also friends of Elira, but did not tell her that they were applying to join Nijisanji.
Tsundere: She shows a very strong tsuntsun side towards iPN, who is now regarded as her ex-husband.

A-Cup Angst: During her Indonesian lesson with Layla, she asked which version of "I'm jealous" would be used for body parts (aku iri), then says this to Layla. Layla is confused at first, but when Enna adds "I'm looking respectfully" before repeating it, Layla gets it. There are also several other streams where she's clearly angry about having a flat chest. During her outfit reveal stream, she goes a whole rant about how her breasts haven't grown bigger.
The Ace: Enna served as one of the two aces of Higuchi Kaede's VR West High School during the NIJISANJI Koshien 2023, alongside Yorumi Rena. Both, Enna and Yorumi got the highest amount of stars of their team (with Enna having one star less than Yorumi) and Coach Higuchi as well as the hosts Maimoto and Tenkai highlighted both of them as her "double ace". Her coach called her "the strong relief [pitcher]".
Affectionate Nickname: She and Millie call each other "Babu".
All Women Are Prudes: She constantly says that she's a virgin. She almost never masturbates, she rarely watches porn and can't handle hardcore stuff. Even with regular porn, she finds the act of simple penetration "hardcore". Even French kissing is repulsive to her, although that might be tied to her strong sense of hygiene. That doesn't stop her from doing very unhinged sex jokes.

She also recalls getting so drunk at a Nijisanji gathering that one of her managers had to carry her home on his back.

Child of Two Worlds: She's a Chinese-Canadian bird from hell who was elevated to heaven as part of her punishment. She also has a Japanese background. Her zuttoღo outfit reveal stream is Canadian-themed and her new silhouette resembles the maple leaf of the national flag.
Comical Translation: Enna gave Kyo a "cheat sheet" for the global Among Us collab with swapped languages, as Kyo had to speak in Japanese during the game's meetings. The cheat sheet has Japanese key words translated into English, but she intentionally put in a trap for him, translating "Orokamono" as "I'm innocent" instead of "I'm a fool". Kyo would say "Orokamono" multiple times, making a fool of himself. Shu eventually caught on to that and got a look on his cheat sheet, revealing the truth.
Cool Big Sis:
- To Luca. He affectionately calls her "Onee-chan" in multiple streams and she treats him like a little brother.
- Is quickly shaping up to be one with Chibisuke.

- Of Ryukishi07 and his When They Cry series, to the point that she had nothing planned for her first birthday stream because she spent all her time and energy on the Higurashi fan concert she prepared the day before.
  - Her favorite Higurashi character is Rena Ryuuguu. For the Senjou no Sei Valentine cover performed by her, Pomu and Maria, Enna is illustrated with Rena's school uniform (but with long sleeves) and signature hatchet.

Flipping the Bird: Her ending screen starting from February 2023 is a fan animation of her raising both middle fingers while spinning around to flip off everything around her.
The Ingenue: Zig-zagged. Foul-mouthed and prone to dark humor as Enna may be (see her below tropes), she seems genuinely averse to/ignorant of sexual content in her streams. Case in point, this particular event.
Interdimensional Travel Device: Her Queen outfit's staff gives her the ability to travel to Alternate Universes.

- When she's trying to not swear as a challenge, there's a 5 minutes and 40 seconds long compilation of her swearing and failing said challenge. Chat counted a total of 338 swears across the stream; excluding the intro and outro, that's an average of 1 swear every 45 seconds while she's trying not to swear.
Laser-Guided Amnesia: The Yandere personality of Enna gives Chat a muffin at the end of their Valentine's date, and after she forces Chat to eat it, Chat has forgotten about the entire date. Because Chat has forgotten everything that has occured during the day, including the creepy events, the yandere Enna promises to go with them on another date again, most likely to repeat the cycle.
Like Brother and Sister: She and Kyo Kaneko from ILUNA have this dynamic. They are both very prone to roasting other people, they have a bad temper and they have some "sibling quarrels". Enna is the big sister in this dynamic.
My Beloved Smother: A sister-variant. But Enna is incredibly doting and proud of Chibisuke.
Onee-sama: Enna long lamented that she couldn't have a little brother. Her wish finally came true, two decades later.
Enna: I am an Onee-chan now. Like for real for real.
Pop-Cultural Osmosis Failure: Wasn't allowed to watch cartoons as a kid and so has absolutely no knowledge about stuff like Pokémon, something that amuses Selen to no end. On a separate occasion, she also confused Cthulhu for Chewbacca and was unaware of who H. P. Lovecraft was.
Plot Allergy: During her off-collab with Petra, Enna jokingly claims to be allergic to eggs, and then says she's kidding and she may be slightly allergic to them...while eating egg sandwiches. Petra is then worried that if Enna dies, she will be blamed for the latter's death, after all the propaganda Enna has made about Petra the previous day.
Practically Different Generations: And how! Enna's baby brother, Chibisuke, was born on the year 2021. Enna is literally old enough to be his mother. Promoted to Parent: Given how soft her step-mother is and how old her father is. Enna feels like she would be the only one that will be strict to her baby brother once he grows up.
Pyrrhic Victory: Similar to Uki's cursed victory of the NKODICE tournament, Enna ended up winning the WrestleSanji 2023 tournament a few weeks later, but she never cared for winning. Instead, she would have preferred to have lost earlier in the tournament, so that she could go to sleep and didn't need to stay awake all the way up to the end of the tournament.
Regal Ringlets: Her twintails end in ringlets to add to the angelic appearance.
Rerouted from Heaven: In stark contrast to Nina who got Kicked Out of Heaven, Enna's predicament is not only the opposite of the fox lady, but an inversion of the trope; her soul was taken to heaven for duty work since she was thriving in hell instead of repenting.
Seasonal Baggage: Her third outfit, which comes with the official formation of zuttoღo, is autumn-themed. Appropriately, Enna is the third of the four to reveal her zuttoღo outfit.
Sex Sells: Mocked when complaining how the recommended clips she sees of herself are never the wholesome moments followed by jokingly suggesting she'll become her own clipper.
Enna: Clippers every time, I bet they're just sleeping and then the only time they wake up is when "C-C-Creampie!? Oh god, god, gotta clip that!" Fuck you guys, man, fuck you. I'm just gonna make my own account and just pretend that I'm not me, I'll clip my own wholesome moments. Fuck you guys, man.
Singing Voice Dissonance: Most of the time, Enna's talking voice is very raspy and nasal and sounds more like a gremlin than anything. When singing, however, she belts out very mature and sultry vocals that make her fellow Livers vouch for her as a strong contender for the best singer in NijiEN.
Sitcom Arch Enemy: She treats Uki Violeta as this because of his tendency to insult her out of the blue. She claims that Uki is nice to everyone but her. Although in reality they do get along.
- She also treats Reimu this way during Among Us collabs, having seen Reimu get impostor so many times that Enna instantly accuses Reimu even when she's the first Crewmate to die. Leading to the absolutely hilarious moment where Enna says "See, I told you guys Reimu was the impostor!" after winning as an impostor alongside Reimu.
Split Personality: For her Valentine's Date stream (2023), the Enna that appears on the stream is a classic Yandere who initially appears very sweet, Moe and speeks in a cutesy voice, but she would later show her much creepier side at the end of the date, whose face and voice become distorted and doesn't want Chat (her dating partner) to leave her. In the next stream, the normal Enna acts as if that stream has never happened, claming that she was on break during that day (although the stream is still available on her channel).
The Swear Jar: For her Tsugu No Hi stream, she opted to eat a jelly bean of questionable flavor for every time she swore much to her disgust.
True Companions: She, Millie, and Elira have been close friends for several years, which all three have talked about on stream.
The Un-Smile: When she goes AFK, her model often defaults to a wide open-mouth and open-eyed smile that has the effect of being terrifying because it's such a dissonance of her usual more mellow expression. The chat regularly spams a brightly smiling emoji while she goes away from her PC and Mika is clearly creeped out by her overjoyous expression. Reimu and Aster have also commented on how creepy it looks.
Vitriolic Best Buds: She and Reimu argue a lot, and they insulted each other when Ethyria just debuted. It's common for them to go after each other's throat. This is also why they got along very well.
Vocal Evolution: Enna started out with a higher and cute voice, but as the months went by, her voice became deeper and more nasal and more depressed-sounding.
Woman of a Thousand Voices: Her voice range can go wild, as displayed in her debut stream. She noticeably overlaps with Millie's voice range, to the point where Nina can't readily distinguish the two from each other.

- Played With. In her debut stream, she almost instantly skips a slide which contains a bunch of photos of Elira over lines written in what could easily be seen as blood, repeating Elira's promo line: "Love at first light".
- For her Valentine's Date stream, Enna's Split Personality takes over for the entire stream and acts very sweet throughout most of the date. She later shows her jealous, clingy and creepy side, which has a distorted face and voice.

Adorably Precocious Child: Played completely straight, with Enna gushing how cute he is.
Annoying Younger Sibling: As a literal baby, this comes as expected. He cries at almost everything...unless he looks at his sister.
The Baby of the Bunch: Both figuratively and literally. Chibisuke is still an infant and...if you want to count family members in Nijisanji, is the youngest member out of anyone.
Baby Talk: Justified as he is still a toddler, but even then, he is still yet unable to say mom or dad. Enna thinks he is a bit on the dull side.
Babies Make Everything Better: Definitely for both his mother - who always wanted a child - and his half-sister - who always wanted a little brother.
The Cutie: Enna is head-over-heels over her brother. Given how much Enna wanted to be a big sister, this is practically a dream come true.
Creepy Child: Downplayed. But Enna did mentioned how much she is creeped out over the fact that Chibisuke really, really loves his sister. As in, he constantly stares at her and she is the only one that he listens to. This got bumped up to eleven though, when she found out that he likes banging on the kitchen doors for....some reason.
Half-Sibling Angst: Subverted. Enna is his half-sister, but their relationship seem very healthy. What does grinds Enna's gears is that her father got another kid whilst she still remains a virgin.
Has a Type: Enna already joked that he only likes young mature women despite his young age.
Marshmallow Hell: Downplayed example. But Chibisuke really loves to nuzzle his face on Enna's chest. This is despite Enna being pretty petite herself, so his nuzzling actually hurt a lot.
Practically Different Generations: His older sister is a good two decades older than he is.
Spoiled Sweet: Enna predicts he is going to grow up very spoiled as his mother is too soft and his father is too old and tired to be strict.

All Women Are Prudes: Despite her desire to find a significant other like Millie, Reimu is scared of the prospect of sex a relationship entails.
Art Evolution:
- With the release of her "Queen of Hearts" model, the face of her original model also got a slight upgrade, making her eyes slightly bigger and her mouth a resting smile. Due to this change, Reimu's expression is significantly happier and cuter than before and her face is smiling more often than it used to. The update is also seen on NIJISANJI's website, where Reimu's icon has been changed from her old frowning face to her new smiling face.
- As of May 7th, 2023, Reimu is the fourth EN liver to receive a 3.0 brush-up, giving her more fluid and new movements as well as new facial expressions, including with visible teeth.
Child of Two Worlds: Reimu speaks English, Spanish, French, and Japanese. She explained in an early stream that English and Spanish are her primary languages since her mother speaks Spanish but made sure that Reimu was exposed to English from a young age; meanwhile, she was required to learn French in school and learned Japanese because she's "a weeb". Viewers guessed correctly that she's from Colombia, which Reimu has confirmed on-stream. Although Reimu keeps it vague whether she's living in Colombia or in the USA right now. At the very least, she has stated to have lived in Florida.
Creepy Shadowed Undereyes: Since she's dead. Because of them, is often joked about that she doesn't sleep enough (which is actually the case). With her Queen of Hearts outfit, her eye bags are gone, although she can put them back on her model if she wants to. She still prefers to stream with her eye bags on rather than have them gone.
Culture Clash: A humorous one on both a gender and national level. She has a hard time comprehending male toilet etiquette even as Vox explains to her how it works, and why they don't necessarily need to wash their hands each time they urinate. She also doesn't quite get that bidets are not as widely accessible in the Anglosphere as it is in other parts of the world.
Cute Ghost Girl: Her design is creepy compared to her colleagues, but still pretty and well-kempt.
Cute Oversized Sleeves: Reimu has very large and long sleeves that cover her hands. Most of her official artworks keep this trope, which is why it is often joked about that she has no hands. When the artwork of Ethyria's 1st anniversary got released, this trope was averted instead, with people reacting that she did indeed have hands. The Queen of Hearts outfit doesn't have oversized sleeves either.
Dem Bones: Her Queen of Hearts outfit has a lot of skull elements.
Dirty Cop: When playing Police Simulator: Patrol Officers, Reimu often misuses her power and authority, she arrests innocent people or people that have committed very small crimes, she's unable to pull out people out of their cars and gives up on them, and she engages in police brutality. Her playthrough ends with her getting fired because of how bad of a cop she is.

- She later develops a massive crush on Leon S. Kennedy from the Resident Evil games.
- She loves Gojou Satoru from Jujutsu Kaisen so much that she makes a dedicated stream for his birthday.

Ghost Amnesia: She has little memory of her time living, though in her case it's due to the spirit hanging around in her hat as seen in her lore video. When asked about it during the reference sheet portion of her debut stream, her irises shrink for a moment and she immediately forgets the question.
Has a Type: Black hair and blue eyes. Petra became increasingly distraught when Reimu disregarded plot, characterization, and themes in anime in favor of judging them based on whether they had a dark-haired blue-eyed main character. Especially when it was pointed out that Reimu probably only "married" her because Petra has those exact characteristics.
- During her Police Simulator: Patrol Officers stream, Reimu meets an NPC whom she claims to be her type. The viewers compare said NPC to Harry Potter.

Reimu's not exactly buxom, but Ethyria receiving their second outfits clearly shows that she has Jiggle Physics and Enna doesn't, contradicting an earlier Ethyria group stream where Nina theorizes that Enna is probably the least flat of her three genmates (as well as a moment where Enna is ranting about Reimu where she says that Reimu is so flat that her artist had to give her a backless dress to give her any sex appeal).

The Un-Smile: When attempting to imitate Enna's smile when she goes AFK (which is terrifying for its own reasons) her irises dilate, creating a look of what commenters describe as "her finally snapping and killing everyone". Commenter: "Enna's happy face makes you concerned for her health. Reimu's happy face makes you concerned for yours."
Vengeful Ghost: Downplayed, but she said that she used to be much nicer when she was still alive.
Vitriolic Best Buds:
- She and Enna bicker constantly pretty much since debut, especially during co-op games or when playing Among Us. This is all in good fun though, since they speak very highly of each other otherwise.
- With Vox, who enjoys doing everything he can to annoy her and vice versa. That said, they're very close to each other and she speaks highly of him on her solo streams.
Vocal Evolution: Early on she tried to speak in a sweet voice all the time to keep the image of cute VTubers at the time. She later drops that and goes for her more loud, energetic and hysterical voice.

Alcoholic Parent: Considering Nina's very outspoken fondness for her red wines and Mimosa, as well as her role of NijiEn's Team Mom, it's hard not to draw parallels. Subverted in that she's an experienced drinker who knows where her limit lies, and advises both her chat and her colleagues to drink responsibly.

Continuity Cameo:
- She has a brief role in Mysta's animated "British Debuff" video that was released on August 14th, 2023. Although, the content of the video is based on their collaboration from January 26th, 2022.
- Nina has continued to make cameo appearances in Ethyria-related works after her departure, including in Enna's and Millie's music videos or Reimu's new loading screen that came with her zuttoღo outfit.
Cool Aunt: Her Queen of Diamonds outfit is supposed to represent Nina as an aunt and self-loving woman rather than the supporting mother figure she has been presenting herself prior to this.
Cunning Linguist: Her guest appearance at Otakuthon 2022 had her quickly translate the speeches from her peers in French, even without prompt from the panel hosts and translators. Likewise, Nina is comfortable holding Russian and French talking streams once in a while.
Fangirl: For Darkest Dungeon and Darkest Dungeon II. When the latter was first released in early access, she streamed it for 18 hours in the first two days alone, gushing about how much fun she was having, going into depth about the mechanics and generally offering cogent analyses thereof.
Feeling Their Age: Nina, having lived at least over a thousand years, repeatedly refers to herself as "old", and laments that the older she gets, the more her powers wane.
Funny Background Event: Even though she has already graduated, from time to time, Nina often got brought up by the rest of Ethyria, often doing something amusing in a distance.
Gamer Chick: While not as immediately apparent as Selen or Finana, she is a diehard gamer who has mentioned having a Steam account dating from far before Steam became a top marketplace. In contrast with Selen who prefers action games with the occasional Real-Time Strategy game, Nina's genres of choice lean more towards more methodical strategy, roguelike and puzzle games with the occasional action game.
Get Out!: She ends her streams with a Stylistic Suck looping animation (drawn by Pomu, no less) of her waiving the viewer to an exit door, while verbally urging viewers to leave because the stream is over.
The Heart: Numerous members of different branches have expressed that Nina was the one who brought people together and broke them out of their shells, which helped them to connect with other members of NIJISANJI.
Height Angst: She gave her height at 165 cm during her debut, but insisted that she's not short because her height didn't count her ears. Her height would later be retconned to 174cm, making her the tallest lady in Nijisanji EN outside of Elira's and presumably Selen's dragon forms — but she still insists that it doesn't count her ears.

- Admitted as much in a stream to which Pomu and Petra chatted with agreement.
- One instance during an Ethyria movie collab had Enna instruct her on how to use the volume mixer on Windows only to find that she uses Internet Explorer, to the shock of everyone.
I Just Want to Have Friends: Nina mentions that she was drawn to Nijisanji because of the prevalence of male talent, but decided that she wanted to become a part of the company after seeing how closely-knit LazuLight was during a lonely, isolated time in her life.
Kicked Out of Heaven: Lore-wise, Nina is a goddess of luck who got kicked out of heaven for "being too much of a villain" as per her interview with Ironmouse on Speak of the Devil, what with all the drinking, thieving and lying she did while balking at Heaven's chores. Being sent down to Earth is considered as a means for her to atone for her past misdeeds.
Lady Drunk: A somewhat less jaded take on the trope. She lives by Bukowski's "Find what you love and let it kill you" philosophy.
Platonic Co-Parenting: Refers to herself and Vox as "mommy and daddy" during collabs.
Put on a Bus: Her fellow livers mention that even she has now moved back to Heaven, it's been stated multiple times that Nina still continues to lurk around as a "ghost" and and keeps in touch with them.
Screaming Woman: Despite having a very deep voice, Nina often screams in an extremely high-pitched voice when scared.
Silver Fox: Both literal and figurative, Nina is considered the unofficial "Mom" of NijiEN.
The Social Expert: Aside from her frequent collaborations, be them with fellow NijiEN members, English-speaking Senpais from NijiJP and NijiID, or even the occasional Indie, Nina seems focused moreso than anyone in her branch on her social media presence, which includes posting daily shorts on Youtube, a thriving TikTok account, as well as Instagram and Twitter, and has discussed more than once the inner workings of algorithms and engagement with her audience.
Split Personality: Played for Laughs. She claims to have a more sadistic, over-the-top side to her that she refers to as "Nani Kusa". Her 2.0 outfit reveal stream shows Nina talking to her other selves.
The Symbiote: She has jokingly taken to have her inner-left tail wear glasses, making it resemble a sock puppet, and naming it Robert, having "him" babysit the chat whenever she needs to step away for a few minutes. Incidentally, he's a tail of very few words. He also does Nina's taxes.
Team Mom: To the point of affectionately calling her viewers pet names like "honey", referring to her genmates as her children, and having the internet savviness one would expect out of a middle-aged mother down to still depending on Internet Explorer as her go-to browser (despite the fact IE no longer exists and is now Microsoft Edge) and excitedly talking about researching the Rickroll on Wikipedia.
