Ye Pubbe Tavern

    Meidri
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/1582380237238.jpg
Birdmaid Bargirl.
Voiced by: Mao Ichimichi (Japanese), Brittany Lauda (English)
The main waitress at the Ye Pubbe bar all the guys involved in these reviews frequent, with her getting frequently exacerbated by their perversion. A cute birdmaid, she's become fond of Crim as though he was a younger brother, and bemoans that Stunk and Zel are being a bad influence to the little angel.
  • Angrish: Experiences this while reading a review of her species. Later, when she finds out that the Reviewers made sex golems in her likeness, she shrieks in inarticulate fury as she gives them a beating. Even the Narrator comments that her shrieks of anger could be heard around the world.
  • Bathing Beauty: One of the scenes of a salamander lady that is censored is replaced by footage of Meidri bathing.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: While she does often feel disgust and annoyance towards the Reviewers' perversity, under normal circumstances she's an overall nice and amiable person. She does have her limits though:
    • Trying to forcefully come onto her is liable to get one a violent rebuff, as Stunk can repeatedly attest to.
    • When she learns through implication from Crim that the guys made sex golems directly modeled after her, she proceeds to beat them all senseless in a fury, with not even Crim being safe this time, terrifying them and the rest of the bar patrons, forcing them to take to heart that there are some lines one should never cross, lest they risk feeling her wrath again.
  • Death Glare:
    • She tends to level a disgruntled look whenever Stunk crosses certain lines in flirting with her.
    • In chapter 37, she levels a rather pointed one at Crim and one of Demia's clones, as she caught them in the act when she's about to try and wake the angel up for work, and later scolds Demia's clone for being so ribald in her respectable workplace and doing it outside the succubus district.
  • Fanservice with a Smile: She's a cute birdmaid in a tasteful-yet-flattering meido dress running as the inn's bargirl. Her smile gets a little strained when Stunk, Zel, and their drinking buddies get together and loudly discuss the various ladies of all races they've recently bedded, or when Stunk tries to hit on her.
  • Harping on About Harpies: She's a birdmaid, which are Winged Humanoids with additional bird-like traits, in her case she has bird-like feet with talons and scales on her lower legs; unlike traditional harpies that have their wings in place of their arms, birdmaids instead have six limbs, with their wings positioned on their backs.
  • Ms. Fanservice: She fills in for two scenes that are not permitted to be directly depicted, once with a shot of her bathing, and then again with her own egg-laying used in lieu of a reptillian's egg-laying. On top of that, when the Reviewers visit the golem establishment, Kanchal ends up making golems in her likeness, much to her displeasure when she finds out later on. Megami Magazine also released official artwork of her in black and white lingerie that put a lot of emphasis on her curves.
  • Not So Above It All: In episode 2, she's blushing along with every other woman in the bar when they all learn just how big Crim's package is.
  • Only Sane Man: When it comes to reacting to the perverted escapades of the guys, she's the only one with a mostly normal head on her shoulders, frequently reacting with frustration or disgust towards their actions, and berating them for constantly leading Crim astray.
  • Pervert Revenge Mode: She's fond of striking back at Stunk whenever he harasses her at the tavern.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: While she's fine with Crim going off with the Reviewers, all she asks is that he finishes his work and doesn't stay away too long. The main reason she gets annoyed with walking in on Crim and one of Demia's clones in chapter 37 is that they shouldn't have been doing it in Ye Pubbe and outside of the succubus district like that, even if Demia has been exploiting tax classification law loopholes to allow her clones to operate outside of succu-girl brothels.
  • Ship Tease: In spite of the fact she finds his constant perversity annoying, to the point she's open to smashing him over the head with anything nearby when he tries to come onto her, most of her interactions with Stunk carry a hint of interest towards him, with the fact she turns him away, sometimes very violently, being moreso because she's pretty Tsundere, with her disliking how openly promiscuous and aggressively flirtatious he is, rather than her actually disliking him personally.
  • Stronger Than They Look: With her occupation and build, she doesn't look all that strong, at least nowhere near the level of the Reviewers. However, during the incident involving her learning about the golems, it's shown that, if she's pissed off enough, she's a force to be reckoned with, with her completely pummeling and manhandling every one of the guys without them having a chance to fight back.
  • Tsundere: She's constantly getting exacerbated, and often disturbed, by the level of perversity the guys get up to, but deep down she cares about their well-being, showing her concern when they get laid up for three weeks after the disastrous lilim raid gone too wild.
  • Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: She gets completely creeped out when some male lamia talk about eating birdmaid eggs behind her. As a birdmaid, and one that's not based on a bird of prey, she gets nervous around snakes due to her instincts.

    Regular Review Readers
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/vlcsnap_2020_03_02_07h54m52s291.png
The peanut gallery.
Voiced by: Shouta Yamamoto (Dwarf), Haruki Ishiya (Oni), Daiki Kobayashi (Cat Man), Kazuyuki Okitsu (Lizard-man)
A quartet of adventurers who are frequently seen hanging around Ye Pubbe, being a consistent source of opinion on the reviews. They're original to the anime adaption.
  • Ambiguously Bi: While he's just as enamored with the girl-based reviews as the other readers, the lizard-man winds up blushing in captivation towards the incubus lord, who otherwise only drew the blushing attention of ladies towards him. Whether he's actually bi or just found the lord's handsomeness inspiring is uncertain.
  • Canon Foreigner: While there have been many cases in the manga of characters giving their opinions on the reviews and other things happening in Ye Pubbe, even if they've never been consistent from chapter-to-chapter, these specific characters are completely anime-original, with them often taking the place of random incidental readers from the manga.
  • Cat Boy: One of the readers is a Little Bit Beastly cat man.
  • Dumbass Has a Point: More like Virgin Has A Point. Despite the other readers calling out the lizard-man out on his virginity, they do include him on their perverted discussions because he often makes good points, such as during the Genderbending Review when they talk about what's important in sex and he says that it's about thinking out the partner's point, or the other readers commenting during the Roleplay review on how he managed to get the acting down.
  • Lizard Folk: One of the readers is a lizard-man, who has the fact he's a virgin repeatedly pointed out by the other guys.
  • No Name Given: None of the guys in the group have been given names, with the closest thing they have as an official identifier being "Regular Mob".
  • Non-Mammalian Hair: While most of his body holds to standard lizard-folk fare, the lizard-man stands out among most male lizard-folk in fiction by having smooth, blonde locks that reach the bottom of his neck, the likes of which wouldn't be out of place on an average Bishōnen character.
  • Oni: One of the readers is a dark-skinned redhead oni.
  • Our Dwarves Are All the Same: One of the readers is a dwarf.
  • Recurring Extra: They never have any actual relevance to the plot of each episode, but while other adventurers who read the reviews come and go each chapter/episode, these four can always be counted on to show up somewhere in each of them (in the anime, anyway) to give their opinions on various things and see what the guys will post this time.
  • Virgin Power: Due to the fact he kept refusing to sleep with anybody for so long, the moment the lizard-man became a 30-year-old virgin in episode 12, he literally turned into a wizard.
  • Virgin-Shaming: A running gag involving the lizard-man is that, despite all his talk about experience and pleasure, he has yet to go out and actually get it on with anybody. That said, they never actually talk down or insult him for it, instead simply pointing out the ridiculousness of a virgin speaking like he understands how sex goes.

    Ivy

Mandrake Landlady.
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/m0p2kc7.png
Ivy, 30 years ago.
Voiced by: Ryoko Maekawa
The mandrake proprietress of the Ye Pubbe tavern, with her being Meidri's and Crim's boss. Skilled at using her vines for various tasks, especially in the kitchen. Chapter 38 reveals that her mother was the previous proprietess, and her father used to adventure with Zel long before Stunk came into the picture. Supplementary material in the Blu-Ray release includes a side-story about the time she visited a succu-girl joint.
  • Dissonant Serenity: When Crim protests the amount of pay he received in chapter 25, Ivy smiles brightly as she reminds him that he skipped out on work for over two weeks when he went with the Reviewers to Magic City. Crim can only look away and laugh nervously.
  • Dub Name Change: Her Japanese name is Tsuta (ツタ), which is a type of Boston ivy.
  • Everyone Has Standards: The only thing Crim has done that has drawn her ire and objections is the time he buried the used-up living onaholes from the golem shop too close to her root system around Ye Pubbe.
  • Eyes Always Shut: While on rare occasions she does open them, the vast majority of her appearances have her eyes closed no matter what.
  • Fantastic Arousal: She really enjoys being pollinated, ending up a quivering mess after being accosted by an eager swarm of bees.
  • Flowers of Nature: As a Plant Person, she has a flower growing out of her hair (30 years ago it was just a bud).
  • Hartman Hips: The manga draws her hips much wider than her torso. It's quite noticeable when she has such a small body frame.
  • Inconsistent Coloring: She's pale skinned in the anime, but the back cover of volume 5, released after the anime aired, depicts her younger self with bright yellow skin.
  • Mundane Utility: She uses her vines to prepare multiple dishes at once, as seen in the beginning of chapter 8.
  • Navel-Deep Neckline: A clear shot of her in chapter 25/episode 11 shows that her dress has a plunging neckline all the way to her belly button.
  • Plant Person: As a mandrake, she has flowers growing in her hair, numerous prehensile vines creeping out from beneath her dress that she uses in lieu of her arms, and roots that run beneath the tavern grounds. She can also send out a runner with its own flower mouth to speak at a distance from her main body. A bonus manga chapter included with the Blu-Ray collection shows that her plantlike nature extends to deriving pleasure from being pollinated by bees when she visited a succu-girl joint staffed by bee people.

    Dark Spirit Customers
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ohys_raws_ishuzoku_reviewers_06_at_x_1280x720_x264_aacmp4_snapshot_1225_20200303_001325.jpg
Holiday week in the world of Darkness.
Voiced by: Shinei Ueki (Dark Spirit A), Hiroki Maeda (Dark Spirit B)
Dark spirits that visited the tavern where Crim worked at. The reason why the gang visited the light spirit succu-joint. A number of them are shown helping to deliver a shipment of the gender-bending potion for The Genderswap Inn to Demia in chapter 21/episode 10.
  • Casting a Shadow: Their mere presence causes Crim to be drained of his vitality from their dark aura.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: They look like demonic shadows, but don't cause any trouble (apart from making Crim sick by their mere presence) and behave just like any other customers when they visit the tavern, including feeling just as awkward after Crim casually shakes the foundations of the surface world's faith during the New Year's prayer.
  • Elemental Rock-Paper-Scissors: In a similar case to Crim, when it comes to darkness, several of the customers comment after reading the review of the chapter/episode that they don't do well at handling high concentrations of light, such as with the gimmick of the Mystery Garden Light brothel.
  • Living Shadow: A whole race of shadow people.

    Waybee
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/wavy.PNG
Wasp Waitress.
Seen only in Zel's flashback dream in chapter 38, 30 years ago Waybee was the wasp-woman waitress at Ye Pubbe, when it was still owned by Ivy's mother. Just like Meidri, she gives Zel a few sharp smacks whenever he acts inappropriately around young Ivy. She retired some time before Meidri came in.
  • Cool Big Sis: She acts as one for young Ivy.
  • Fanservice with a Smile: As Meidri's predecessor in running the bar, she wears the same type of dress, with her gaster sticking out the back of the skirt.
  • Meaningful Name: Waybee's name sounds like a portmanteau of "wait(ress)" and "bee".
  • Multi-Armed and Dangerous: She has four arms, which makes it handy for her when she needs to carry extra trays.
  • Non-Mammalian Mammaries: Her thorax is curved in a way that it looks like she has a bustline under her dress.
  • Pervert Revenge Mode: Just like her successor Meidri towards Stunk, Waybee was fully up for whacking Zel with anything she had on hand whenever he was being too forward about his perversity, especially around Ivy when she was a child.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: While it's obvious that she stopped working at Ye Pubbe long before Meidri came around, what exactly happened to her, whether she died, retired, or just left town, isn't mentioned in the story.
  • Wicked Wasps: As a wasp woman, she's not so much a menace, but she is rather strict and uncompromising with Zel whenever he discusses dodgy things in young Ivy's presence, scowling as she smacks him.

Demon Political Party

    Lady Deathabyss
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/1579374720065.jpg
She wants you to vote in the next Dark Age of Demons.
Voiced by: Hiromi Igarashi
The current demon lord trying to gain support for the demon party to win the parliamentary elections, with her not having very good luck with that. Later chapters in the manga reveal that she has a professional working relationship with Demia, as well as a desire to try flying in aircraft that she learnt about from people from another world.
  • Adaptational Attractiveness: Passione made her face a lot cuter in the anime, with rounder eyes and slightly more baby-faced cheeks.
  • Badass Cape: She wears a red and black cloak with her outfit.
  • Bathing Beauty: She's shown enjoying a bath while talking to Demon Two and Demia in episode 12. In the manga, this conversation was not in a bath, but she did talk with Demia in a giant bucket bath in chapter 33.
  • Butt-Monkey: Going by some comments from her and her PR demon, being rejected as a political candidate is not very uncommon for her, with the result of the newest election driving her to tears.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: She's a giant demon woman with a semi-imposing aura, but she's a well-intended person trying to bring about great benefits to the country. In Chapter 44, one of the angels at a meeting of church officials testifies that from all she's seen and heard about Deathabyss, she believes the demoness to be a technology otaku with no ill intent.
  • Giant Woman: She's much bigger than most of the cast, being around as tall as an average house; it is revealed in chapter 26 review that only demons with Royal Blood can grow so tall.
  • Idiot Hair: She has a single long strand of circular curling hair jutting out the top of her head.
  • Mystical White Hair: Her long flowing hair is silvery-white in color, fitting for a high-ranking demon.
  • Stripperiffic: Her outfit is little more than a very tiny bikini, some boots, and a cape, leaving most of her skin completely exposed, with said bikini being barely enough to maintain her modesty.

    Demon Two
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/1579373829810.jpg
Deathabyss's PR agent.
Voiced by: Atsushi Imaruoka
An oddly familar-looking demon man who works with Lady Deathabyss. Tired of demons constantly being among the top five in "worst marriage candidates" lists he enlists the reviewers to review a demon brothel to boost their public image. Unfortunately for him, things don't quite work out...
  • Butt-Monkey: He doesn't fare any better than his boss. In addition to having his reputation in the toilet, his plan to get the Reviewers to boost the public image of demons fails spectacularly when the group is distracted by a pair of shapely minotaurs and walk out on his request. By the time they do get around to reviewing the Demon's Hole, the elections are already over, and Deathabyss grumbles about the lateness of the review.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: He's a bit eccentric but he's just as professional as his boss and treats his job seriously.
  • Expy: Stunk outright calls him a "Piccolo Wannabe" as an insult in the anime.
  • Large Ham: His speech to the Reviewers is entirely given in a loud, clear tone of voice, enough that Zel has to cover his ears due to the volume.
  • Nice Guy: Despite Stunk and Zel being suspicious of him, he keeps a straight face, and ends up recommending them to the Demon's Hole establishment, as that was the most he could do without falling afoul of election regulations.

Demia & Co.

    Grand Mage Demia Duodectet
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ohys_raws_ishuzoku_reviewers_10_at_x_1280x720_x264_aacmp4_snapshot_1352_20200315_003143.jpg
Pioneer in magical development.
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/8yum5ajjf0m71.jpg
Official art of Demia('s clones), manga promo from before the anime adaptation
Voiced by: Hibiku Yamamura
A great mage holding the title of "The Witch of Inheritance" who has provided many magical advancements for society, though most of those advancements go to enhancing the succu-girl experience. However, beneath what the world sees as a provider of great societal benefits lies a dark secret. She's also shown to have a professional working relationship with Deathabyss. Her three most notable establishments are the Genderswap Inn, the Magical Lube Shop, and the Magic Metropolis brothel staffed by her highest-quality magical clones.
  • The Ace: Put it like this: The services provided by her clones are so good in terms of quality and quantity they're the first to rate a perfect 10 from every member of the Reviewers due to being able to satisfy all of their separate personal desires. That's not even getting into the near-world-changing strides she's made when it comes to magical development.
  • Adaptation Dye-Job: One early colour picture from manga promo artwork depicted Demia and her clones with pink hair; the anime settles for having Demia a blonde (with darkening tips) that wears blue, with her clones being a lighter version of her colour scheme.
  • The Archmage: She is the greatest mage in the world, with her having provided most of the advancements in magic throughout the world.
  • Barrier Warrior: Can create a bubble barrier to protect herself from bath waves... or Deathabyss's teeth.
  • Bathing Beauty: She joins Deathabyss in the bath when she goes to visit her in episode 12. In the manga, their conversation was not in a bath, but she did join Deathabyss in a giant bucket bath in chapter 33.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing:
    • When it comes to her interactions to the public, she holds to the image of a helpful mage who's open to providing whatever benefits the public might want, especially in regards to succu-girl joints. However, underneath that image is somebody using the semen and other sexually related aspects of others in order to try and find something that would grant her power to stand above all others, with her deciding that the angelic power of Crim's halo will do just the trick.
    • When she tries to replace Crim's broken halo piece and fails, she decides to keep the halo fragment for her research without telling him.
    • Chapter 37 reveals that the clone she let Crim use has been collecting hair and sperm samples from him discreetly to further her research, and she ultimately resolves to delve into the mysteries surrounding the angels and the way they carry out the Goddess's work.
    • In Chapter 43, it is revealed that Demia shutting down her clone 'service' to focus on manufacturing rings of fire resistance to meet demand has resulted in unrest for the Mayor of her home city, and she plans to exploit this by getting either herself or someone aligned to Deathabyss voted into power as the new mayor in order to push their shared agenda.
  • Drives Like Crazy: Sohl comments on the reckless way she flies her fast broomstick.
  • Eyes Do Not Belong There: She has animated eyes festooning her dark dress that blink periodically.
  • For Science!: Her adult entertainment businesses are simply a means to raise funds for her research, as she cannot get research grants from the Orc Party.
  • Hidden Villain: She is the closest thing this manga ever gets to a full-on antagonist and only because of her seeking ultimate power with Crim's missing halo piece.
  • Hot Witch: With her daringly low-cut neckline and her pointy hat, she's got the beauty to go with her magic and knowledge.
  • Knight of Cerebus: An extremely downplayed example. Her appearance takes the series from just a bunch of wacky sex shenanigans to actually having something resembling a plot.
  • Loophole Abuse: The way she runs her adult entertainment businesses is engineered to minimise the amount of succu-girl tax she needs to pay, so she can spend more on magic and technology research and development. Her clone boasts about it in Chapter 37, although Stunk and Zel aren't really impressed. On top of this, it allows her clones to travel outside of the Magic Metropolis to 'offer their services', much to Meidri's dismay.
  • Mad Scientist: For a Grand Mage, she geeks out like a mad scientist while thinking about all the research she wanted to do with the biological samples she collected from Crim.
  • Meaningful Name: "Duodectet" comes from the Latin word for "twelve", and chapter 44 reveals she's the twelfth in The Witch of Inheritance line, who possess the ability to pass all their accumulated knowledge and skills to a single successor once in their lifetime.
  • Mundane Utility: She uses a lot of complex magic for convenient ends:
    • She combines her clones and a portal to have a salamander-cooked sausage delivered directly to her mouth while working.
    • She turns her army of magical clones towards hunting down the broken piece of Crim's halo, in archaeology/criminology "row walking" style.
    • Deathabyss's interest in aircraft led her to reverse engineer aerodynamics and create a flight spell she embedded into a broom for personal flight.
  • Oh, Crap!: Upon finding out the religiously sensitive truth of the nature of the angels and how they carry out the Goddess's will on the surface world, she has a minor freakout as she knows that mishandling this information could get her imprisoned by the Church for shaking the foundations of their faith.
  • The Rule of First Adopters: Most of her magical developments first find practical purchase in the real world in the adult entertainment industry. In chapter 36, her plan to maximise profit from rings of fire resistance is to market them towards horny men who want to sleep with hot salamander girls first, since there are a lot of them.
  • Secret-Keeper: She eventually finds out more about the true nature of angels and their role in the world when she encounters the presence of Y'gamiel in chapter 37, but is obligated to not reveal the truth to others due to how sensitive such a matter would be for the Church.
  • Self-Duplication: One of her achievements involves taking the low level "Decoy Doll" clone magic and using it to provide multiple living sex toys for a city's worth of people. In addition, their memory retention is so good that the clones can remember their repeat customer's preferences.
  • Synchronization: A limited, controllable form, where she can remotely connect to her Decoy Doll clones and gather information, visuals, and even have them teleport samples back to her lab for research. In chapter 24, this is first revealed when she has the clone that is pleasuring Crim teleport back a sperm sample, and in chapter 37, she falls back on her ass with shock upon witnessing through another of her clones the truth of the angels that carry out the Goddess's miracles on the surface world. In the final chapter of the Darkness anthology, she slaps Teies and chides them for imagining that she would feel everything that is being done to her Decoy Dolls, indicating that she has a way of filtering what feedback she might get from them.

Male? Female? With all those potions, who knows?
Voiced by: Kaori Maeda
Receptionist of The Genderswap Inn. Also a disciple of the witch Demia. As part of Demia's arrangements to minimize succu-girl tax payments, they do not actually bed any clients, but merely offer the gender-bending potions, rooms for privacy, and the option to call outside to request succu-girls willing to service them while they are gender-swapped by the potion's effects.
  • Ambiguous Gender: They're known to deliberately confuse people to their true gender for their own amusement.
  • Cute Witch: They're quite cute looking, wear the classic wide brimmed pointy hat and cloak, and know how to use magic, as demonstrated when they magically bind Crim when he tries to leave before the sex change potion has worn off. They do have a hint of Hot Witch to them as well, since they have a buttonless cloak for the purpose of quickly exposing their cute and somewhat sexy underclothing.
  • Eyes Out of Sight: Their hair is styled in such a way that their eyes are almost never seen no matter the angle.
  • Stripperiffic: Under their cloak, they're mostly wearing just gloves and some really frilly underclothes, complete with leggings and garters.

Sex you next time.
Voiced by: Yūko Gotō
A witch working at the Magical Lube shop as one of Demia's employees/students; as part of Demia's plan to minimize succu-girl tax payments, she does not actually have sex herself, but instead uses her magic to create magical lubricant to pleasure clients. Crim was taken for a wild ride by her.
  • Breast Expansion: Stunk and Zel imagined her using the magical lube to give herself larger slime boobs.
  • Hot Witch: She's a skilled magic user and very attractive, although she doesn't don her cloak or robe and only leaves her hat on "for the ride".
  • Mystical White Hair: She's a magic user with snowy white hair.
  • Sex Magic: Uses her magic to infuse and control water with mana to turn it into a slime-like lubricant, purely for sexual purposes.
  • Tentacle Rope: She forms tentacle ropes from the magic lube to hold Crim in place.

    Sohl
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sohl.PNG
Aquarium keeper.
Another disciple of the witch Demia who serves as the receptionist of The Aquari-Harem, a succu-joint that lets customers transfer their souls into various aquatic creatures for five hours, during which they may mate to their heart's delight with the other occupants in the aquariums. Amongst the animals demonstrated include snails, shrimps, and fish. The aftermath of the Reviewer's session here left them with some lingering instincts from the critters they possessed that lingered for a few days.
  • Adapted Out: The chapter involving her succu-joint wound up being left out of the anime, meaning she didn't get to make an appearance in it.
  • Bespectacled Cutie: She sports a pair of big round Nerd Glasses that accentuate her wholesomely endearing Cute Witch image.
  • Cute Witch: She has a more cute and bookish appearance rather than an outright sexy one.
  • Expy: She looks and behaves almost exactly like Kobayashi.
  • Motor Mouth: A volume bonus page between chapters 24 and 25 has her giving a long recommendation for a species to possess, with a note that it's, "spoken quickly like a nerd".
  • Only in It for the Money: The building she works in is actually primarily a research lab focusing on possession magic; The Aquari-Harem was established when the researchers went to Demia for funding advice.
  • Punny Name: Sohl, which sounds a lot like soul. This ties in with the theme of her brothel allowing customers to transfer their souls into various sea creatures.
  • Token Wholesome: She stands out quite notably for a female succu-joint owner from the fact that she never gets shown in a fanservicey way, with even other somewhat modest female owners like (the potentially female) Teles getting a few scenes that show off skin sexily. It helps highlight how she's intended more to have an adorably nerdy appeal rather than an arousing one, and that the establishment she fronts is just a method to raise research funds.

    Miss Dutiter
Runs the House of Oblivion and House of Reunion which both affect customer's memories. They allow customers to experience losing their virginity for the first time or having sex after a long hiatus respectively.
  • Miss Kitty: Runs the House of Oblivion and House of Reunion but also doesn't hesitate to service customers herself.
  • Never Bareheaded: In sharp contrast to the rest of her clothes, she's never seen not wearing her Witch hat.
  • The Rule of First Adopters: Although her shop started as a succu-joint she plans to branch out to a wider customer base (such as allowing people to read their favorite book repeatedly for the first time) once Demia wins the mayorship of Magic Town and thus access to a large supply of mana.
  • Stripperiffic: Her outfit is comprised of a witch hat, a thong and a couple of strips of cloth to cover her nipples. Sometimes she goes without the strips of cloth.

Adventurers

    Taiga
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/taiga.PNG
Waiting on his Wedding Miracle with his beloved.
A friend of the Reviewers who finds himself falling in love with a salamander girl after saving her from falling into a lake. In chapter 28 he asks Stunk and company to escort him to Flaspa Cathedral for their wedding ceremony. Though their relationship gets off to a rocky start due to his partner's intense body heat, he is eventually made immune to her flames via a special wedding ritual.
  • Badasses Wear Bandanas: He's always seen wearing a bandanna, and he's an adventurer who risks burning his hands off to save a salamander girl from falling into a lake and dying.
  • Fingore: He nearly burns his fingers off saving the salamander girl and is still wearing bandages on his hands after the flashback ends. He notes its been months, meaning the damage was really bad.
  • Interspecies Romance: Quickly develops one with the salamander girl he saved from falling into a lake. They get married in a special ceremony where their mana is fused.
  • Not So Above It All: Despite being with the salamander for more than just plain lust, Stunk teases him about the time he previously questioned Crim about the specifics of the time he had sex with Tiaplate.
  • Rescue Romance: He quickly develops a relationship with the salamander girl he saved despite the initial problems presented by her extreme body temperature.

    Legendary Heroine Yuti
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/1585423550520.jpg
The face Kanchal doesn't want to see in real life.
A human who has ascended to demi-goddess, Yuti is a dangerously strong adventurer who has a beef with the Reviewers for their public deviancy. She had a brief appearance in the chapter 27/episode 12, when Kanchal talks about why he likes The Sex Marionette, and shows up at Ye Pubbe in chapter 34, scouting for reviewers such as him. Being strongly religious, she takes Crim's presence as a Divine message and spares them for now. She doesn't like the existence of succu-girl stores in general, but has to accept that it is Divine Will as the magic circles used in them are created with the help of the Church, and has to accept that Crim's presence in the Reviewers means that their existence is approved by Heaven and ends up staying her blade. It is unknown whether she's even aware that she's used as a base for a more famous doll in The Sex Marionette. By Chapters 43 and 44, she returns to the Church for a major meeting, with many other church officials and a number of angels attending.
  • Badass Cape: Her red cape swirls dramatically behind her.
  • Big Eater: She orders large amounts of meat dishes from Meidri while looking for Kanchal.
  • Death Glare: Kanchal can feel her gaze boring through his thick coat.
  • Expy: With her tiara, green hair, green leotard, and preference for wielding a sword and shield, she resembles the female version of the hero from Dragon Quest IV.
  • The Fundamentalist: Zigzagged. She is religiously devout, but is willing to accept new interpretations. She despises reviewers in general for their perversion, but Crim's presence convinces her that the Heavens may allow it. The Monk Emperor at the Church meeting in Chapter 44 further convinces her not to trouble the Reviewers, as he believes their actions are further improving interspecies relationships.
  • Heroes Prefer Swords: Her blade is rather ornate, and is of a similar shape to Stunk's more ordinary sword.
  • Leotard of Power: She wears a green leotard under her archer-style half-breastplate.
  • Luckily, My Shield Will Protect Me: She swords and boards, using her shield to deflect hits.
  • Pervert Revenge Mode: Zigzagged. Kanchal thinks she wants to kill him for making sex golems in her likeness, but she is targeting reviewers as a whole. In the end, she stays her hand due to Crim's involvement.
  • Semi-Divine: She was born human, but was divinely blessed and became a demi-goddess.
  • Supernatural Gold Eyes: Her golden eyes go well with her demi-goddess status.

100-man raid party.
Voiced by: Keisuke Hamaoka
An entire legion of Orcs, one hundred strong, that rescued Stunk and gang from the lilims by requesting a rematch with the owner and taking their place.
  • Big Damn Heroes: They arrive just in time to prevent the Reviewers from dying of exhaustion and cutting their careers short.
  • One-Shot Character: They only appear in one memorable scene.
  • Our Orcs Are Different: They're a horde of large lustful pigmen, and sate their lust by challenging the lilims to contests of sexual endurance, given their request for a rematch when they show up just in time to save the Reviewers from being snu-snu'd.

    Gangan/Booi

He has the prettiest eyes in the land here to entrance you with.
Voiced by: Yuu Akano
Receptionist of the One-Eyed Club. The anime has his name as Booi while Amahara himself has it as Gangan.
  • Cyclops: Naturally, given that he serves as the front receptionist of the One-Eyed Club, which is a cyclops brothel.
  • The Noseless: He has no visible nose like the other cyclopes.
  • The One Guy: Most brothel owners and greeters are attractive females, which makes him a bit of an oddity.
  • Punny Name:
    • The Japanese word for "eye" is pronounced "gan", which means his official name has more "eyes" than he does.
    • His anime name is a phonetically spelt version of "boy", which fits the fact he's the only male brothel owner.
  • Sharp-Dressed Man: He wears a stylish black suit and tie as his main attire, which is a bit out of place for a series set in a magical fantasy world.

    Centaur Porters

Left to right: Human Moon, Horizon Queen, and Star Field.

A small group of centaur women who give the reviewers transportation to Magic City and later distribute their reviews throughout the land. They are primarily members of the Transportation Guild, but also have a part-time job at a succu-girl joint that specializes in centaurs within their own village to help them deal with the problems of going into heat.
  • Cute Monster Girl: A rare group of non succu-girl ladies that are just as cute as the ones found at the brothels.
  • Demoted to Extra: They got a full review from the main cast in the manga, while the anime cuts this out along with about half of their scenes.
  • Mating Season Mayhem: Like horses, these centaur ladies go into estrus/heat; their part-time jobs as succu-girls is meant to help them safely deal with the frustrations of being in estrus. Their mating habits have them prefer humanoid partners with good arms and upper-body strength when they're doing it with non-centaur men.
  • Our Centaurs Are Different: They're a group of sexy horse women that earn a living by transporting people and serving as mail couriers. Due to being able to sweat from their human upper bodies, these ladies have superior stamina to normal horses as they can sweat off their waste heat with much less difficulty.
  • Stripperriffic: They each wear small hats with only a tiny strip of cloth to cover their chests while their horse-shaped lower bodies are only clad in horse tack. Quite a bit odd considering that they're supposed to be package carriers and mounts, yet have a uniform more revealing than most of the 'clothes' typically worn by full-time succu-girls. Maybe the lack of clothing helps them sweat.
  • Theme Naming: All of the girls shown have racehorse-themed names.

    Hildra

Don't cheat on her.
Voiced by: Fumiko Uchimura
She's the girlfriend of Levit Thealigra the incubus lord, and quite unhappy that he's been seeing other women and even doing it with her money.
  • Amazonian Beauty: While her body isn't deliberately shown off sexily since she's not a succu-girl and only pops ups at the end of the segment she's from, she still has a cute and attractive design, and she also has a decent amount of musculature signature as an oni, as shown by the more detailed mid-episode intermission for Episode 11.
  • Clingy Jealous Girl: Cheating on her is not a good idea, as the incubus lord found out.
  • Cute Little Fang: While it's easy to miss due to how especially small it is, on close-ups of her face it's shown that she has a tiny fang sticking out from her upper left lip whenever her mouth is closed, both making her cuter and being another signifier besides her horn that she's an oni.
  • Easily Forgiven: Easily forgives Levit Thealigra after he professed his love for her (and the other ladies in the world). He in turn easily forgives her for trying to murder him (though the police sure don't).
  • Oni: She is the first oni to be seen in the manga, though the anime has one of the Canon Foreigner regular review readers be an oni, who has been in the anime since episode 1.
  • Woman Scorned: She is the one who stabbed Levit after she found out that he went around to visit all the succu-joints.

    Salamander Girl
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/taigas_gf.PNG
Rescued, then romanced.
A salamander woman who is saved by Taiga from falling to her death in a lake. After spending several days tending to his wounded hands the two quickly begin to develop feelings for each other despite the difficulties their difference in species would pose to any long term relationship.
  • Elemental Rock-Paper-Scissors: As a fire spirit, contact with water is extremely harmful to her. When she was at risk of falling into a lake, instead of potentially dying from drowning, she was potentially going to die from direct contact with a massive amount of water.
  • Fiery Salamander: She's a salamander fire spirit. Unfortunately for her, this poses a serious danger to her partner Taiga who has no sort of flame resistance to protect himself from her extreme heat.
  • Florence Nightingale Effect: She quickly grows to love Taiga for saving her life at the cost of badly burning his hands. Naturally, she spends the next several days taking care of him while his hands heal and the two begin a relationship.
  • Interspecies Romance: This poses a problem for her since her species is extremely dangerous for most other races to even get near if they have no special fire resistance to shield them from her flames. The Wedding Miracle that happens during the ceremony at Flaspa Cathedral eliminates this problem for her and Taiga.

    Y'gamiel
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/angel_6.PNG
How the Hell did you break that stupid halo?!
One of several angels, this particular angel discovers Crim during chapter 28 and asks to meet him behind the church. They desire, with much envy, to break their own halo like Crim did, so that they can descend to the Surface World and enjoy the pleasures of the flesh. They return in Chapter 37 and give away their presence to one of Demia's clones, who was cleaning Crim's room and using it as a pretext to collecting stray hairs as samples for her research.
  • Ambiguous Gender: Like Crim, their appearance is sufficiently neutral to make it difficult to determine whether they are male or female at first glance.
  • Blackmail: After getting a glimpse of all the things Crim gets up to in the mortal world, they decide to force him into helping them figure out a way to break their halo, on threat of telling the rest of Heaven, including God, exactly what Crim has been doing since he left Heaven.
  • The Corrupter: In their efforts to figure out a way to break their halo and fully enjoy everything the mortal world has to offer, they start influencing other angels into wanting to do so as well, such as telling Klael how they could enjoy all the food they want without needing it to be given as an offering, or tricking said angel into walking in on Crim having sex, which results in them masturbating.
  • Cross-Popping Veins: Several pop out as they express their jealousy at Crim's situation.
  • Given Name Reveal: Their first few appearances don't bother with giving them a name, but when they show up again in Chapter 43, this time with another angel in tow, said other angel (named Klael) reveals that this one's name is Y'gamiel.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: They are envious of Crim's ability to interact with the mortal world due to their damaged halo.
  • Intangibility: They first find Crim by sticking their head through a wall, catching him with a succu-girl, before they could actually start anything.
  • Invisible to Normals: Only Crim can see them due to their intact halo, but the succu-girl was able to discern their presence (taking them for an invisible spirit) from how focused and flustered Crim was at this angel's presence, and she angrily ordered them to leave the room and leave her and Crim alone while adjusting her top. One of Demia's clones encounters them while she was collecting stray hairs from Crim's room as samples, and while she couldn't see them she was able to make a lotion out of one of Crim's hairs that allowed her to hear their voice as they spoke to Crim.
  • No-Sell: Their halo proves to be flat-out immune to their own attacks, much to their frustration.
  • Perpetual Smiler: While they are capable of showing other expressions, mainly angrily frowning out of jealousy, their normal expression is a blank gaping smile, with them almost never deviating from it outside of those bursts of anger.
  • Precision F-Strike: They scream in frustration when they prove unable to damage their own halo.
  • Sacred Bow and Arrows: One of the angelic powers they demonstrate in their attempts to break their halo involves shooting it with arrows of holy power.
  • Scary Teeth: While they're an angel like Crim, they have a habit of showing a full set of pointy demon-like fangs when they're angry, something never seen from Crim.

    Amaat
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/amart.png
The Church's attack dog.
Grand Warlord of the Flaspa Church's army who accompanies Yuti in her quest to take down reviewers. A Fenrir, one of the strongest known species, once he whiffs up a scent of the target, he can track them down afterwards no matter how far away they are from him. Upon seeing Crim with the Reviewers, he manages to persuade Yuti to consult the Monk Emperor before doing anything rash.
  • Beast Man: He is a Fenrir, a species of humanoid wolfmen.
  • Big Eater: The pancakes he orders form a towering, multi-layered construction, festooned with fruit and overflowing with cream and syrup.
  • Chained by Fashion: He has a bunch of chains crossing over his chest.
  • Large and in Charge: He towers over most people and is a general for the Church's forces.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: He's able to reason with Yuti and ultimately persuade her not to attack the Reviewers, citing various factors that prove that their actions are at least accepted if not outright approved by Heaven's Will; for example, the Church actively manages the purifying magic circles set up in succu-girl brothels, which were approved to help facilitate interspecies relations and understanding (something the Reviewers have aided in with the educational facts packed into their reviews), and Crim's presence with the Reviewers is proof that they are not doing anything that requires intervention.
  • Sweet Tooth: In contrast of Yuti ordering a large serving of meat, he instead orders a large stack of pancakes with an assortment of fruits, whipped cream, and syrup.
  • Wolf Man: He's tall, canine, and everyone in Ye Pubbe recognizes him as someone powerful.
  • "X" Marks the Hero: His cross-shaped scar covers his chest.

    Klael
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/craell.PNG
Their first taste of the mortal world was this sour lemon.
One of several angels, and a junior to Y'gamiel, this particular angel first discovers Crim's ability to interact with mortals in chapter 43. Since then, events have conspired to slowly tempt them with the pleasures of the mortal world, cumulating in a surprise collision with a transformed pureblood succubus who proceeds to give them a taste of the carnal pleasures of the flesh in chapter 50.
  • Ambiguous Gender: Like Crim and Y'gamiel, their appearance is sufficiently neutral to make it difficult to determine whether they are male or female at first glance.
  • Corrupt the Cutie: After having seen Crim enjoy a meal at Deathabyss's home in Chapter 43, Y'gamiel leads Klael into developing more interest in the mortal world subtly, in an effort to get them interested in the pleasures of mortal flesh. Klael eventually ends up losing their virginity to a pureblood succubus who had transformed into an angel by using Crim's seed in Chapter 50.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Klael is amazed and somewhat jealous of Crim's ability to freely eat mortal food without requiring it to be offered to them by the Church.
  • Intangibility: As with all the other angels with intact halos, Klael can fly through walls and other obstacles.
  • Invisible to Normals: Only Crim can see them due to their intact halo, at least until Chapter 50, where a succubus that had transformed into an angel by using Demia-collected angel seed was able to see and interact with them due to having gained their own halo from their transformation.

    Pyugmarie
The owner, receptionist and inventor behind the Love Bringer "brothel" from the second novel, an establishment advertising sex with living weapons, which does the impossible and manages to get an even lower score than The Lilim's Frenzied Frolic with every single reviewer calling it an outright scam.
  • Body Horror: Stunk ended up with a potion that turned his cock into a sword. He tried masturbating with a sheath for a while, but turning his meat sword into steel also came with a complete loss of sensation. It was also a lot more permanent than he bargained for.
  • Comedic Lolicon: Upon being called out on the poor quality of her magic items, she claims to be a weapon fetishist lolicon and that her shop caters to such clientele.
  • Gender Bender: She makes a replica of Demia's genderswap potion, with the caveat that hers is actually permanent. An early hint that she was once a man.
  • I Call It "Vera": She names her weapons to make them seem more appealing to clients.
  • In-Series Nickname: Garadri calls her Pyugly, definitely not out of endearment.
  • Mad Scientist: A Mad Magician, the fantasy version of the trope.
  • Meaningful Rename: Due to an incident with a permanent genderswap potion, Pyugmario became Pyugmarie.
  • "No. Just… No" Reaction: Crim's review states it literally, while all the others state it figuratively.
  • Taken for Granite: Crim gets roped into trying out making out with a medushield. A shield that can turn you to stone if you look at it. Luckily he was immune to the petrification effect, but as it was dark elemental magic, it still did a number on him.
  • Talking Weapon: She first tries to hook the reviewers into a group session with a blade she named Speakalibur. Although talking might be exaggerating since it's more like a naughty audio recording on a 20 second loop.

    Arcmay
A "luminary in the field of Neurohedonic Sorcery" who invented the temporary womb tattoo and pioneered adding sex organs to golems. She first appeared in a succubus movie in Chapter 31 but was not named until Chapter 53. She is an acquaintance of Demia Duodectet's immediate predecessor.
  • As You Know: The first thing she talks to Demia about after introducing herself is the history of how Golems became sentient and gained human rights, something which would already be familiar to Demia who has the memories of her 11 predecessors. Although she was using it to allude to a secret regarding the Monk Emperor's identity.
  • The Archmage: One of her titles.
  • Con Man: Regarded as a potential one by Demia, who regards Arcmay's offers to help improve her dolls as a ruse to scam her.
  • Older Than They Look: Started her golem research at least 80 years ago.
  • The Rule of First Adopters: Like Demia most of her research efforts are for degenerate purposes. Unlike Demia she seems to enjoy it and enthusiastically tests her sex puppets personally unlike Demia who is only in the sex doll/succu-shops industry for the money.
