Pervert Revenge Mode

Go To

"Hey, you damn pervert! I'm going to smash your ambitions along with all the recordings you took! Hope you're ready!"

Oh no! You've just had an Accidental Pervert moment and now a girl is after you! And not in a good way! You may have seen her naked, grabbed her somewhere she didn't like, or anything on a similar line. And now you are really in for it!

Can result in an instant smack-down, or possibly a game of hide and seek where the hider is you and the seeker has a Hyperspace Mallet, Frying Pan of Doom, or some other implement. Sometimes involves a Megaton Punch. Very often involves a Groin Attack.

Not to be confused with the Unprovoked Pervert Payback, where a girl gets set to Pervert Revenge Mode for no apparent reason. Can be subverted if the man is known to be gay by the attacker, or is a girl in disguise, etc. Can also be subverted if an accidental case is recognised as such, which is Forgiving the Accidental Pervert. Generally the result of Accidental Pervert, or the Covert Pervert (Who may actually deserve his comeuppance!). Even the Chivalrous Pervert may get battered occasionally.     Anime & Manga
  • 12 Beast: Eita Touga is oftentimes the victim of this. His hands have an almost magnetic attraction to all the wrong places on a woman's body.
  • Ah... and Mm... Are All She Says has a rare example of female-on-female: Toda hits Oshigiri in the face for groping her breast.
  • Conversed in episode 7 of Blend-S. When Akizuki accidentally grabs Kaho's breast, she didn't seem too upset by that. At this point, it's Akizuki who started to freak out, because as the waitress playing the Tsundere role, Kaho should have beaten him up.
  • Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan: This trope is the most frequent cause of death for Sakura, the male lead. The reason we say "frequent" is because Dokuro-chan, the title character, always brings Sakura back after killing him.
  • A Certain Magical Index: Happens a lot to Touma, mostly at the teeth of Index. The most spectacular example occurs when he winds up holding a cell phone with camera in the locker room of an all-girls school in a female-only section of town during gym class and spends the next several hours dodging angry mobs.
  • In Doctor Slump, Senbei accidentally turns himself into a baby. Ms. Yamabuki doesn't know who the baby is, so he uses the occasion to watch her in her undies, and see her naked when she bathes him. He turns back into a adult just when she is about to let him sleep with her. He end up with a axe on the head for it all.
  • A very rare yuri example occurs in El Hazard 2, where Depraved Homosexual Fatora uses a combination of the cover of nightfall and her resemblance to Makoto to steal the Sacred First Kiss from fire-wielding priestess Shayla-Shayla, who has an unrequited crush on Makoto. When Shayla realizes what happened, she is PISSED, and proceeds to attack Fatora in a rage.
  • The success of this in Fairy Tail usually depends on the importance of a character to the plot. When Proud Beauty Lucy Heartfilia or fierce warrior woman Erza Scarlet get oggled by Spear Carriers or Mooks, the girls send them flying, playing this straight. It works surprisingly less often on the main male leads, including Natsu blocking one of Lucy's attempts, saying her battle technique needs work.
  • Fushigi Yuugi: In episode 34, when Miaka survives the test from the Genbu star warriors after being forced to strip down, Tamahome immediately covers her up. However, he accidentally gropes her breasts, thus earning Miaka's slap.
  • In the original Ghost in the Shell, the Major hacks Batou and forces him to punch himself in the face after he tries to call her and ends up accidentally getting visual and tactile feeds of her engaging in a lesbian three-way. The punishment wasn't from watching her activities, but for interrupting her vacation.
  • In GTO: 14 Days in Shonan, Onizuka sneaks into White Swan through the bathroom window just as Ayame is coming in to take a bath. He hides himself in the bathtub, and when she inevitably finds him, tells the truth and points out that his eyes have been closed the whole time. She seems to forgive him, and asks if she or Shinomi has better breasts. Onizuka says she does, which gives her all the proof she needs that he really did peep on her. She then throws an iron at his head.
  • GTO: The Early Years: Ryuji tries to get a look at the tattoo on Nagisa's shoulder, and ends up pulling down her top. She slaps him for it and he quickly runs away.
  • Infinite Stratos takes that further. When Dunois reveals her real gender and the rest of the class realises Ichika was roommates with her, Rin comes after him in her Powered Armor and fires a full-powered Impact Cannon blast at his head. Unusually, the situation is quickly defused by Laura blocking the shot then promptly stealing a kiss from Ichika and declaring him her "bride" in front of everyone. Cue Big "WHAT?!" from everyone.
  • Interspecies Reviewers: Meidri, the birdmaid waitress at the Ale N Eats, smacks Stunk around whenever he makes a move on her, including smacking him over the head with a barstool and, once, throwing a table at him. In Episode 6 Meidri finds out that Stunk, Zel, Kanchal and Crim made golem sex dolls based off of her. She gives all four of them a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown.
  • Inuyasha the Movie: The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass: Miroku secretly observes Kagome and Sango as they bathe in the hot springs. Sango is upset and throws a big rock at Miroku.
  • Averted in Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?. Bell tumbles into a hot spring where several of the women are bathing, but Aiz is the only one who's even slightly embarrassed, and the only one who gets upset is Hestia, who wishes he had done this when she was alone. Subverted by Lyu, who attacks him, but stops when she realizes he isn't an enemy. They do punish Hermes, who was intentionally peeping and dragged the oblivious Bell along with him.
  • Kaguya-sama: Love Is War:
    • In Chapter 15, Shirogane accidentally gropes Kaguya while being spooked by a cockroach, leading her to bite his hand in retaliation.
    • In Chapter 29, Ishigami makes a few comments about Kaguya and Fujiwara's breast sizes, unaware that they're standing right behind him. Fujiwara proceeds to assemble a Paper Fan of Doom out of a newspaper and beat him with it until she runs out of breath before forgiving him. Kaguya notes that he's lucky that she's so kind, as she'd probably do far worse if he ever does something like that again.
  • In the Kämpfer manga: Akane takes Natsuru's Thanks for the Mammary as a sign he has a death wish and sends him out to attract the Schwert’s attacks.
  • Ladies versus Butlers! has the entire female student body in the first episode, who Akiharu accidentally manages to molest through bizarrely contrived but wholly innocent coincidence, to the point of an Overly Long Gag. Amongst them are Covert Perverts and brazenly perverted girls, who chase him not for revenge but because they wanted more than a grope.
  • Love Hina: Lots.
    • It gets so ridiculous that later in the anime series, Keitaro lampshades that he's probably invulnerable due to building up a resistance from constantly getting Megaton Punch'd by Naru.
    • About midway through the manga, Keitaro becomes extremely focused on his studies... so much so, that he isn't really thinking about anything else, and due to some bizarre inversion of the Centipede's Dilemma, completely stops clumsily tripping over things and accidentally groping Naru and the other girls. For some equally bizarre reason (perhaps a variation of We Want Our Jerk Back!?), they miss this facet of Keitaro's personality, and start placing Banana Peels around the house for him to hopefully slip on.
  • Maken-ki!: Takeru often ends up in incriminating situations and ends up punished for it - usually by Himegami and Haruko. Though he brings it on himself, since he does it on purpose at least half the time.
  • Mazinger Z:
    • Sayaka did not take kindly to being spied on in the anime series. One example happened in the Mazinger vs Great General of Darkness movie, when Kouji walked in on her when she was having a shower, and she slapped him.
    • Subverted in the original manga. Kouji and Sayaka saw each other naked accidentally... and they just apologized each other calmly (blushing the whole time). It was especially funny because it was Sayaka who walked in on Kouji.
  • Minami-ke deconstructs this trope: When Natsuki accidentally gropes Haruka in front of the class during school hours, she all but explains outright that she has to be seen replying to it in order to maintain their public images and stop any wayward rumours, and apologises in advance. Natsuki makes it clear he's aware of her dilemma and consents to 'taking responsibility', so Haruka visibly punches him in response to the 'perversion'. It is clear neither side have any hard feelings over it and Haruka would likely have let it pass if it happened in private.
  • Averted in Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid. When Taketo falls face first into Ilulu's chest, she simply asks if he's okay, not seeming all that worked up, even patting his head while he's stuck there, with him rather surprised at how casual her response is. Though this is an understandable aversion, as she's an Innocent Fanservice Girl who is such a Womanchild she frequently forgets that modesty and dislike of perversity is a thing with humans, and even then doesn't see anything wrong with a male seeing her naked or feeling her body, especially if it's a genuine accident.
  • In Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team, protagonist Shiro Amada accidentally comes across a teenage girl skinny-dipping in a jungle pool while he's lost and desperate for water. When his (borrowed) watch starts beeping, she immediately goes for a gun and starts shooting.
  • Monster Musume: Kimihito Kurusu was once bucked in the face by Centaurea after unknowingly walking in on her in the shower. Unlike most examples, she apologizes.
  • My Dress-Up Darling: Discussed and defied in Episode 10/Chapter 32, mixed with a bit of Leaning on the Fourth Wall: while showering, Marin teases Gojo over how he could peep on her if he so desired and if it were a manga, he'd jump at the chance and she'd yell at him. Gojo, on his part, is nothing but respectful about Marin's personal space and he leaves her be.
  • My Hero Academia has all the girls of Class 1-A go into this mode, usually with two main targets: Kaminari and Mineta, mostly being the latter. Counter-measures include being slammed into a boat deck, half-drowned, jabbed in the eye, dope-slapped, sent back down a wall he tried to climb, mummified with tape, stuffed into a sack and strung up from the ceiling, and subjected to the Ludovico Technique.
  • My Monster Secret has a rare example where this trope is Invoked by the guy who gets beaten up. In episode 4 of the anime, Asahi and Aizawa end up hiding in the gym equipment shed away from people who think he's doing lewd things to a doll replica of her. Asahi suggests that Aizawa beat him up and claim that she caught him in the act and destroyed the doll, all in order to hide the fact that Aizawa was the dollnote . To outside observers it's this trope, but to Aizawa it's Unprovoked Pervert Payback since she knows that not only is Asahi innocent, but he's been unbelievably noble and self-sacrificing in order to protect her secret; to show her thanks, she speaks to Asahi's Love Interest Youko afterwards and tells her the truth so she doesn't think any less of him.
    • Played more straight with Shishido Shiho who typically receives one of these from her neighbor Aizawa.
  • Naruto: It's said that Jiraiya has been near death three times and one of those times was stated when he peeped on Tsunade and it wasn't pretty.
  • Neon Genesis Evangelion:
    • Played straight in episode 8, when Shinji, Kensuke and Toji find out what happens when a certain quick-tempered, three-quarters-German EVA-02 pilot wears a dress on the open flight deck of an aircraft carrier in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. In a series that prides itself on Fanservice. Cue slapping noises.
      Toji: What was that for?!
Asuka: Payment for the view. A bargain, nicht?
    • Subverted later in that episode when Shinji peeps at Asuka accidentally as she is changing, and she shouts at him ("Stop staring at me!") and blushes furiously, but does not try to punish him.
  • Parodied in Nichijou. Where in another anime, Sasahara doing something perverted would result in a Bitch Slap or possibly an offscreen beatdown, Misato's response is to shoot him with anything from a pistol to a rocket launcher. Sasahara usually shrugs it off.
  • Pop Team Epic: In the Poputan skit, Poputan and Pipitan visit a farm to get milk from a cow. An old farmer pops out of a bush and asks if they'd like to squeeze out some of his milk, so they tie him to a log and put him on a conveyor belt heading toward a buzzsaw, crotch-first. Later when they're having a barbecue, the farmer appears again, asking if they'd like to try his wiener. They do the exact same thing, only he has a bandage on his crotch this time.
  • Ranma ½:
  • Sakura no Ichiban!: Asami beats a guard unconscious with her wooden sword after he accidentally sees up the skirt of her kimono when she jumped over the school gates he was guarding.
  • Sgt. Frog: The chapter that introduces Aki Hinata, Fuyuki and Natsumi's mother, features her effortlessly judo-throwing a guy who tries to grope her on the subway.
Aki: If you want to feel up this manga character, come up with a better scenario first!
  • Sonic X: The Japanese dub has a weird example in the final episode. Dr. Eggman and Rouge are having a conversation about Shadow in his base, then suddenly, for no real reason, Eggman comments that Rouge's "breasts are huge". The scene then suddenly cuts to the outside of Eggman's base, then it cuts back, and Eggman has a MASSIVE slap mark on his face, while a furious Rouge storms off. It comes completely out of nowhere, and this line was notably removed entirely in the English dub, with the slap instead being because Eggman simply insulted Rouge in an innocent context.
  • Steins;Gate: Kurisu often dishes punishments on Okabe, whose actual moments of perversion tend to be accidental - like when he received a threatening text and rushed home to see if Mayurii and Kurisu were safe... only to walk in on them showering together, or when he grabbed Ruka's crotch... and found out she was a girl in that world line.
  • Those Who Hunt Elves: Junpei in the second season gets subjected to two of these moments in rapid succession after busting into two rooms with undressed girls in them to try to take care of a Potty Emergency.
  • To Love Ru: Yuuki Rito. No matter how far the situation leans in his favor, if Rito does something slightly perverted around Yami, accidental or not, she will beat the crap out of the poor guy. It doesn't help that this happens all the time.
  • The Way of the Househusband: Subverted in Chapter 10. While chatting with his middle-aged housewife friends at the gym, Tatsu accidentally follows them into the women's changing rooms. Rather than engage in this trope, they all understand it was an accident and wave off his apologies. Doubly so because they accidentally led him there during their walk and talk.

  • In a Liberty Meadows strip, when Jen bends over to get her pocketbook, Dean recites the "I see London, I see France" rhyme, prompting Jen to punch him. Dean complains: "I thought women liked poetry..."

    Fan Works
  • A Crown of Stars:
    • Asuka leaned behind Shinji and wrapped her left arm around him to show him an image on her wristband, accidentally embracing him and pressing her front-side against him. Shinji crossed his legs quickly, but she saw it and she smacked him on the back of his head.
    • Touji drooled over Rayana when he saw her, setting off Hikari’s revengeful wrath.
  • Advice and Trust:
    • In chapter 4 Touji asks Shinji how he has managed getting so many girls after him and starts moaning he wants one of those hot babes notice his well-muscled body. Hikari hurled a chalk at his forehead and yelled him.
"C'mon, Shin-man, you've gotta tell us what you're doin' different, so we can get in on it! I could finally get one of these hot babes to notice my studly, well-muscled bod-OW!" Touji's paean to his handsome form was cut off by the impact of a well-aimed piece of chalk to the middle of his forehead.
"Sit DOWN, Suzuhara!" Hikari roared at him. "And shut up!"
    • Surprisingly averted with Asuka in that same chapter. When she found out about Shinji accidentally seeing Rei naked and touching her right breast she was pissed off... but since it was an accident, she did not hold it against him.
    • After Kaworu gets a boner from her yelling at him, Rei assaults him with a tree branch.
      Rei: DIE, STUPID FISH!
  • In a short story in The AFR Universe, Ryuji accuses Ann of pigging out on pancakes for breakfast when she knew she was going to be running with him that day, setting herself up for failure. He points to a syrup stain on her shirt as proof, unintentionally touching her boob. Ann angrily punches him in the face for it, knocking him over the safety railing to fall into the pond next to them.
  • The Child of Love: The morning after the festival Asuka wakes up to find Shinji Ikari lying beside her on her bed. Before Shinji could explain his actions, her anti-pervert mode switched on and she raged.
  • It Gets Worse: Upon learning that the pocketknife she felt in the pocket of the boy behind her...wasn't a pocketknife, Sophia has to be tased to get her off him. Director Piggot later confronts her about how she broke his nose, fractured his cheekbone, and kicked him in the testicles.
  • Subverted in Power Girl story A Force of Four. When Jimmy Olsen compares Kara with Christie Brinkley, Kara pretends to get angry and about to punish him for being a "male chauvinist". Jimmy actually gets scared until he realizes she's just joking.
  • In the Discworld, Ankh-Morpork is a city big enough to have all the usual sorts of sexual deviance, as Sam Vimes well knows. Vimes also classes some crimes as being so far over the event horizon of stupidity that they class as Suicide. For instance, the voyeur who tried spying on schoolgirls getting changed for a swimming lesson. He was organised enough to have prepared the spyhole in the changing room wall. And to have brought an iconograph. But did he stop to ask himself beforehand which school the girls attended? Fortunately for him, their teacher intervenes just before it becomes a Suicide. note
  • In the Fairy Tail and One Piece fanfiction The Dragon That Will Pierce the Heavens, Hikari tends to punch perverts to knock sense into them, as shown in the Kuro Arc where she sent Tauros flying for being so enthused about her 'beautiful body'.
  • Evangelion 303: In chapter 4, Shinji goes to the bathroom... not knowing that Asuka has not left his home yet, and she is taking a shower. He walks on her right when she is towelling herself, and her reaction is... predictable.
  • X-Men: The Early Years: In "Anger Management, Geeks, and Other Scary Things", Jean Grey gets into trouble after punishing a boy harassing her. She gets forced to attend an anger management course ran by a creep who continues peeking at her cleavage. Cue punching.
  • HERZ: In a scene Shinji walks on Kurumi when she is having a shower. Immediately he screams and flees, and Kurumi chases after him. Asuka sees both, fetches a bat and starts to chase them.
  • In chapter 3 of Last Child of Krypton, Touji was drooling over Asuka’s legs. When she noticed and confronted him about it, he put his foot in his mouth, so she half-dragged him out of his seat by his tracksuit’s collar and suggested that he kept his eyes to himself.
  • Neon Genesis Evangelion: Genocide: A scene has Asuka tease Shinji while she is only wearing a towel. She eventually escalates by playfully pushing him around, which causes to him lose his balance, leading to him inadvertently grabbing her towel to steady himself, resulting in him exposing her body. Cue Asuka's foot delivering justice.
  • Shinji And Warhammer 40 K: Played straight in the Hot Springs Episode 24 when Toji and Kensuke tried to use a miniature camera to spy on the girls, and Asuka busted it. Averted in an insanely awesome way when Shinji shortly after walked calmly in the girl's side, cheered one of them up and walked back to the boy's side... and nobody lifted one finger against him!
  • In chapter 9 of Once More with Feeling Asuka went into this when Shinji, Touji and Kensuke saw her panties and in retaliation she slapped them. It must be noted that Shinji knew that a gust of wind was about to billow her dress and giving them a view of her underwear but he was unable to look away.
  • The protagonist of Sleeping with the Girls is rather upset to discover that the laws of physics in the worlds he visits actually make this a physical law. Especially problematic when he keeps materialising in the beds of Tsunderes and he doesn't have the ability to shrug off Megaton Punches.note
    • The SI explains to Kitsune and Mokoto in the second Love Hina arc that the reason it's a physical law is as an element of the Rule of Funny: Which is funnier from an outsider's point of view? Keitaro wandering into the bathhouse to clean it and nothing going wrong, or there being girls there who chase him around and kick his ass?
  • In New Look Series: Ben's New Look Gwen goes to this when Ben gets caught attempting to peep on a woman, and gets revenge by dressing Ben up as a girl.
  • The Pieces Lie Where They Fell: The human Rainbow Dash enters this when she and Night Blade are transported into the mare Rainbow Dash's personal Paradise and she realizes she's missing her clothes, slapping him repeatedly for looking at her, even if it's an accident.
  • In The Unfantastic Adventures of Bizarro No. 1, Bizarro Supergirl angrily neck-lifts Yellow Lantern when he makes the suggestion to let the Blue-Kryptonite Men kill all males so the male Bizarro Leaguers can keep all countless Bizarro Loises for themselves.
  • In Vale's Underground, Pyrrha and Yang dish some of this out on some lecherous guys catcalling them.
  • In Green Tea Rescue, when Mineta tries to peek in on the girls after the Heroes vs Villains class, the moment he mentions "Ochako's juicy thighs" Izuku uses his Quirk to grab a bench (that was bolted to the floor), slams it just above Mineta's head and tells him that, if he tries to do anything like that again, the next time he won't miss.
  • Explicitly defied by Misty in Pokémon Reset Bloodlines. After she learns that Ash saw Iris naked when she bathed under a waterfall with him, she acknowledges that it wasn't Ash's fault and her acting this way would make her "an unlikeable bitch".
  • Maybe the Last Archie Story: Invoked when Reggie Mantle affirms he will not try and take a peek while Betty is taking a bath because he isn't a suicidal idiot.
Reggie: You can't use that bathroom, Arch. Betty’s taking a bath.
Archie: Oh. Glad I'm not as opportunistic as some people around here, Mantle.
Reggie: Hey, don't look at me! I'm not gonna break in there and get a karate chop across the neck.
  • In With Pearl and Ruby Glowing, this is Deconstructed. Tyler sexually assaults Mei but her retaliation isn't seen as justified and people see him as the victim of the situation, even people that were there. However, Tyler doesn't see it that way.

  • In Mulan, when Mushu says "My eyes can see straight through your armor" he looks down at her chest, and Mulan promptly covers herself with her arm and slaps him.
  • Superman/Batman: Public Enemies had a offscreen example when Power Girl is sent by Superman and Batman to find the 13-year old Toyman to help them. When the two see her again, she is very annoyed since Hiro was checking her out with experimental X-ray goggles and when they actually meet him, its shown the goggles were broken by her.

    Mythology
  • The Ur-Example is the Greek story of the hunter Actaeon, who stumbled across the goddess Artemis bathing nude in the forest.note  Actaeon was astounded by her beauty, but Artemis (an eternal virgin) was outraged. In her anger, she turned Actaeon into a stag and he was torn apart by his own dogs. A much obscure and brief myth mentions another hunter named Siproites who did the same and was turned into a woman.

    Video Games
  • Bayonetta 3: Jeanne can inflict one during her sections - if she finds a shower cabin on the level she may decide to quickly freshen herself up (as in recover any lost health), causing a passing Homunculus to try and peek only to get promptly executed.
  • Dead or Alive: Lei-Fang kicks an Accidental Pervert off a moving train — possibly killing him and definitely leaving him stranded and injured — simply for bumping into her. It's Played for Laughs, of course, but considering that Lei-Fang's whole motivation for entering the DOA tournament was to beat up a guy who saved her life years ago, it's entirely possible that she's really just a dangerous lunatic turned loose on society.
  • EXTRAPOWER: Giant Fist: When Zophy's team settle on traveling to Magarda Volcano, David muses that Zophy and Professor Ace, who already wear next to nothing, can't wear less to combat the heat... but Marian totally should. She immediately gives him a retaliatory strike hard enough to instantly silence him.
  • Asuka's ending in Tekken 5 has her deliver a Megaton Punch to Jin after he accidentally faceplants into her chest, knocking him into a mountain.
  • Persona:
    • Persona 3: Hell hath no fury like a couple of girls intruded upon during their visit to the hot springs. You can be a Male Protagonist and try to escape or, with the Updated Re-release, be a female protagonist and try to find the guys.
    • Persona 4: The boys accidentally walk in the girls in the hot springs, and get bombarded with washtubs. In this case, the girls were in the hot springs during the time the boys were supposed to be, so it was an honest accident— not that they'd admit to being wrong.
    • Golden adds a scene where Yosuke and Teddie actually do try to peep. They knock down the fence instead, end up naked themselves, and promptly get struck by lightning, courtesy of Marie.
    • When Ann in Persona 5 catches the guys looking down her shirt in the Morgana-Mobile she reclines the seats on them.
  • Elh, after the second Shower of Awkward in Solatorobo, spends considerably more time punching Red and telling him what an idiot he is. Considering it's actually all in Red's mind, he technically went vengeful on himself.
  • In Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, this is FROG's response when you try to fondle her chest.
  • BlazBlue:
    • In Chronophantasma, the Kagura vs. Makoto special match intro. The fight starts because he tries to cop a feel.
    • Happens quite often in the story as well. In one instance, Kagura rescues Makoto from Tsubaki by tricking the latter that he's been ordered to escort Makoto into custody. Once they're both safely away:
Makoto: By the way, Kagura, would you please untie me already?
Kagura: Why? You look great like that.
      [Makoto kicks Kagura]
      Kagura: Still... Worth it... [thud]
    • In the Variable Heart manga, Kagura comes across the girls of the Torifune Military Academy (which includes Makoto, of course) and offers to show them around town in a manner that implies he is trying to hit on them all. He doesn't even get to finish before Makoto crunches his nuts.
  • Star Ocean: The Last Hope: Edge just has this way of getting into Accidental Pervert situations with Reimi. Reimi, being very much a Tsundere, doesn't react well when he does this... By far the most extreme example was when she grabbed her bow and arrows and chased him down the hall with intent to shoot him. That incident was also the least accidental, which explains her behavior during the genuine accidents.
  • Little Busters!: Despite there being a few cases of Riki getting accidentally caught in perverted situations, Kurugaya, who is usually The Tease, is the only girl to initiate this - when he accidentally touches her boobs in the dark she very roughly pushes him back, and even then she admits it was an instinctive response. Otherwise, when he ends up with his hand on their chests Mio admits she was at fault for running and falling in the first place and Haruka is already dating him and doesn't mind, and while Komari gets very flustered both times he accidentally sees her panties she doesn't blame him at all.
  • In Fire Emblem Fates, the avatar's castle may have a hot spring. Who may be occupying is random; however, it's a co-ed bath, so occasionally you may come across units of the opposite gender. Some units, like Hana, will be so displeased about you walking in that their critical portrait activates.
    • From the same game, Selena's B support with Laslow is her turning his flirtatious ways back on him to show how uncomfortable it can be for the receiver of such flirting.
  • A rare male example occurs in SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy in the form of Terry Bogard. Why? Because for some odd reason he found himself transformed into a woman, a very pretty one at that, and forced to compete in an all-woman fighting tournament. Unsurprisingly, he flips his shit over this and fully intends to introduce pain on the culprit responsible.
  • The game Whack The Creeps is based entirely around the protagonist, Lisa, killing two creeps who hit on her in a bar over and over again. And doing it in very creative ways.
  • Weaponized by Kiryu in one of his Heat Moves in Yakuza 6 and Yakuza 2 Kiwami; Kiryu will punch a thug who's attacking him, causing the thug to spin and faceplant in a passing woman's cleavage. The woman will freak out and knock the guy senseless with a headbutt before finishing him with a knee to the face.
  • Turned into an actual combat mechanic in Final Fantasy XIV. One of the raid bosses (Ryne-Shiva) switches between types of attack using a move called "Redress", where her clothes dissolve off and are replaced with a new set. If your character is looking at her while she changes, you take substantial damage and are vulnerable to all attacks for a while.
  • A rare male example from Death Stranding, and a fourth-wall-breaking example at that: Among the random things you can do while Sam rests in private safehouses is to point the camera towards his crotch, to which Sam notices and covers up in embarrassment. He'll get increasingly annoyed if you keep it up (including flipping you off), and if you still can't take a hint, he'll straight-up attack the camera.

  • In one episode of Sonic Shorts, Big is looking for Froggy under various objects, including cars, fire hydrants, and trees... then looks under Amy's skirt to see if Froggy is "in there". Cue a furious Amy taking out her hammer and the scene cutting away right before she hits him with it.
    • This gets referenced in Seaside Denied where Big once again gets a clear view up Amy's skirt due to Cream carrying the both of them, and asks if Froggy is "in there" again. This time though, Amy simply chastises him for looking instead of hitting him.

  • 8-Bit Theater features this a lot regarding White Mage's interactions with Black Mage. She even once lamented that the White Mage Oath prevents her from killing him.
  • 21st Century Fox: The counterintelligence agents who refer to people by their underwear get bucked into the bulkheads by the draft horse they codenamed "Dr. Peekaboo-Booty-Thong."
  • Women in El Goonish Shive have the explicit ability to summon magical hammers when a man makes a sexist comment around them. This was originally given no explanation beyond Rule of Funny, but Cerebus Syndrome over the years eventually led to the revelation that hammer summoning was made possible by an ancient and powerful supernatural being (who loved a good sexist joke and slapstick comedy) but whose death put an end to said hammers.
  • In Grrl Power, Dabbler's antics have earned her this a few times, like Maxima punching her across a room after she'd grabbed her breasts and Sydney punching her in the back after a heating spell made her "hot and bothered".
  • Agatha Heterodyne of Girl Genius gets a couple where she yells at people, but the best is when Martellus - who has kidnapped her, attempted to murder one of her suitors, altered her bodily chemistry so she was forced to touch him to stay alive, and is generally a terrible person - thinks that just because they're currently on the same side against a mutual enemy, it's all forgiven. It's not. The Groin Attack temporarily makes him a slightly better person.
Agatha: [after Martellus, still on the floor after being kneed, offers Mad Science advice] That was also very helpful, Martellus. Thank you.
Martellus: [remembering what happened last time Agatha said "thank you" and he took it as an invitation] I... I take a quiet joy in the approbation of my collegues.
    Violetta: Wow! He's learning!
  • Usually Averted in Living with Hipstergirl and Gamergirl, as Arthur won't perv on his gorgeous flatmates on purpose (and in fact makes efforts to not look at Erika whenever she's around the home naked), and Sophie is reasonable enough to let his Accidental Pervert moments slide on that (that and the one time he let slip what he does in his own room). But if he were to take too many liberties, like the girls' previous flatmate did... Well, there's a good reason Sophie and Erika had a free room when Arthur was looking for a place.
  • Nip and Tuck deconstructs this with two strips that point out why a woman wouldn't get away with attacking a man just for sleazy behavior:
    • In strip 536 Thelma beats the ever-loving tar out of a man for his sleazy attempt to trick women into starring in pornos. She destroyed multiple pieces of film equipment in the process and ends up in debt. There is also the implication she has to pay his medical bills to avoid a criminal charge.
    • In strip 759, Hortense punches a large gator man in the stomach for catcalling her all day. Within five strips it is clear that a man around three times her size is now pissed off at her and she needs Tuck to bail her out because the man and his friends are going to retaliate. Hortense is ready to throw down but it is clear they would have beat the stuffing out of her.
  • Shows up in Collar 6 with Gary. Of course, he's a sadomasochist, so he gets his jollies both by teasing Action Girls and tanking the subsequent Megaton Punch.
  • Deconstructed in Elf Only Inn when Megan points out to the readers that if she were to beat up Duke for sleazing on her, she'd be sending the double message that violence was an acceptable response to purely verbal misbehaviour and that it was okay to make inappropriate comments as long as you suffered for them afterward. Also, Duke seems a little too excited about the prospect of Megan beating him...
