Crash's ability to talk is a result of him being warped into Skylands.
I know he says that the reason the forest doesn't negate his powers is that he's not from that world, but who's to say the dimension-hopping didn't have some weird effect on him? If the roles were ever reversed (Spyro gets transported to Crash's world, for example), I'll bet that Crash won't be able to talk.
  • He's also smarter than he is usually portrayed in the games, which could also be due to the same thing.

Kaos is going to hijack the spot of main villain from the Doom Raiders by the end of Season 2.
Kaos is already becoming a From Nobody to Nightmare situation; if the trend continues, he could very well become dangerous enough to beat down the Doom Raiders and become the biggest threat the Skylanders have ever faced.
  • Subverted. He does beat down the Doom Raiders and personally throws the Golden Queen into the sky, however he releases Strykore from his prison who he doesn't mind playing second fiddle to due to the latter lying to him about being his father, who is actually Eon.

Flynn and Cali will appear in Season 3.
If anyone has been a bigger help to the Skylanders in the games than Eon, its them.
  • Confirmed for Flynn, but jossed for Cali.

Strykore is the brother of Eon, and the father of Aurora

The first part is because they look similar so it makes sense for them to be related. Aurora is Eon's niece in the video games so it makes sense for her to be Strykore's daughter since she looks to be a similar age as Kaos.

Malefor is Spyro's real father and not Cynder's, and is the real villain of Season 3

Something about Malefor and his actions in Season 2 doesn't sit right.

  • Malefor has more similarities towards Spyro, thanks to having a deeper shade of purple, since, compared to him and Spyro, Cynder has brighter scales, and his fire breath like Spyro, instead of Cynder's lightning breath.
  • He reveals that Spyro's parents are still alive, which doesn't make sense since they were sealed in another dimension by Eon, years prior Spyro's birth. So how would Malefor know about them in the first place?
  • He gives away Spyro to Kaos after the latter mentions about Strykore, even though he was strict of wanting Cynder back. Why would he sell out Spyro after hearing about Strykore? Was he simply afraid of facing his wrath? Or is he plotting to overthrow him? Or perhaps he's after for revenge against Strykore for corrupting his wife, possibly Spyro's mother, and Eon for sending her to another dimension.
  • It should be mentioned that Malefor is a cunning manipulator, using his family's talent of brilliant acting to fool others even Cynder into letting their guard down. So perhaps he may have lied about being Cynder's father and manipulated her into thinking so.
  • Season 3 hasn’t revealed anything between Malefor and his relation with Spyro’s parents, but this doesn’t rule out this theory completely.
  • Though the fact that Strykore stuck entirely as the villain in season 3, might open the possibility that Malefor may become a major villain in the future.

Strykore will be defeated, Spyro will return to normal and Cynder will be rescued after the very first episode of Season 3

Considering that approximately 75% of every season is filler and the remaining 25% is when things get interesting, it's likely that Spyro will regain his light and Strykore will be defeated after the first episode of Season 3.

  • Adding the fact that the previously mentioned 25% of every season with actual progressive plot is always at the first and last episode of every season, including one midway episode.
  • The dark tone shift after the season 2 finale really didn’t fit the overall tone of the show, since Skylanders overall is intended for the more younger audience. Plus, having the main protagonist, Spyro, turn into an antagonist for season 3, wouldn’t sit well for said audience.
  • Plus, with how the season 2 finale felt completely rushed, throwing in every plot twist possible, it's likely the first episode will deal the same problem, unless the running time of the episode will be doubled up to over 40 minutes, just like the pilot.
  • Jossed. Spyro stays as Dark Spyro for most of the season, and Cynder isn't rescued until after he's back to normal.

If the above theory is true, Spyro will leave the Skylanders.
He no longer trusts Master Eon for keeping secrets, so he can't be in a team where they have to follow his orders. So he'll go solo through most of the season. But he'll still be in good terms with the team, who try to get Spyro and Eon to reconcile.
  • Sort of Jossed. He still trusts Eon after regaining his light and is more than happy to leave the Skylanders (not without saying goodbye first) following him to search for his kind at the end of the season.

Dreamcatcher will defect back to the good guys for real.
The only hint for this is that she was a Nice Girl when she had amnesia. She realize Strykore and Kaos' goal is too evil even for her and no fun would come out of it. Plus, she learns some valuable information which would aid the Skylanders. But no one, especially not Stealth Elf, would believe her. She'll try to earn their trusts anyway she can. Though at first, she'll deny wanting to be good and just thought being with the Skylanders is safer for now; not to mention being annoyed with them bringing up the time she had amnesia and Stealth Elf's desire for her friendship.

In season 3, Hugo will no longer fear the sheeps.
During a final battle, Hugo will confront the sheeps and lead them in aiding the Skylanders.
  • Make that season 4.

Kaos's birth was never planned.
Which is why Kaossandra is always annoyed with him around. Kaos's birth was the result of Strykore's manipulation, which means he is Kaos' father From a Certain Point of View, which is why Strykore asked Kaos to freeing him. Which is why she does everything to keep her from reaching his full potential, knowing Strykore will use him.

Spyro and Dark Spyro were originally intended to be brothers.
Much like Eon and Strykore are revealed to be twin brothers at the beginning of season 3, and following up the above theory about Malefor being Spyro’s father, in ‘Split’, Spyro was meant to be cured of the darkness with Fire Viper venom, but instead of curing him, it split Spyro and Dark Spyro into separate beings. Malefor may have casted a spell, or made some experiments on the two while they were still eggs, and fused them together, hoping to make a hybrid of light and darkness, a biological weapon for his own purposes, and the Great War may have been a cover up for Malefor to commit these experiments.
  • This might add the theory that Malefor, as a dragon king, who is said to open portals to other dimensions, may have been the one who sealed Spyro’s ancestors to another dimension, not Eon.
Of course, it does not go as planned, as Spyro still attained his light side, but when Strykore took his light powers, his dark side (aka the soul of his darker twin brother) awakened and took over, and even gained the ability to control technology, an ability Spyro had not figured out. Otherwise Spyro, with his power drained, might have been nothing but a powerless husk.

Malefor stole Cynder from her real parents because of her psychic abilities and Malefor had been using genes from other dragons to make Spyro the ultimate weapon
In Raiders of the Lost Arkus Part 1, Cynder is revealed to have psychic abilities, which seems out of nowhere if you think about it. It may be possible that Malefor kept her to take her psychic ability and use for his own gain, let’s say...taking her genes and adding them onto Spyro? As said above, Malefor may have been using genes from other dragons and adding them to Spyro, his own son, to make him the ultimate weapon.
