In Skylanders Unite!, Spyro's selflessness and heroism in his fight with Kaos earns him a spot in the Skylander Team, ultimately becoming the dedicated Skylander Master Eon raised him to be.
In Crash Landing, Spyro says his final goodbyes to Crash Bandicoot and embraces him. For fans who are familiar with Spyro and Crash's friendship before Skylanders, it most certainly fits this trope.
Spyro: Hey, thanks for saving my tail today. I can honestly say I'll never forget you, man. I'm not sure if it was obvious, but you are definitely the coolest guy I have ever met.

In Sheep(ball) Dreams, Cynder becomes willing to give Dreamcatcher (who was suffering from amnesia) a second chance, since the violet dragoness knew what it felt to prove that she wasn't evil.
Kaos and Glumshanks find a folder in Kaossandra's files that implies Glumshanks is Kaos' father. The two spend an entire afternoon having fun with bikes and candy. Subverted when Kaossandra reveals that the folder was fake.

Even though he's there as a double agent, Dark!Spyro's journey to regaining his good side is all kinds of heartwarming, with him surprising even himself at the selfless and noble deeds he performs; sometimes merely to uphold his cover, but also because he feels like doing something good, or acts on instinct.
