Atlas Destroyer will gain new Jaegar parts to become a better Mech
- With more and badder Kaiju coming out of the woodshop, Taylor and Hayley will have find new parts and retrofit it into Atlas.
The Boy will cause the Kaiju to perform a Heel–Face Turn
- Being the Messiah, the Boy might be able to sway the entire Kaiju race and turn against the Precursors.
Apex's consumption of the other Kaiju is what allowed it to not only survive as long as it has, but it is what allowed it to become stronger over time
- As has been noted, the fact that Apex would have had the PPDC's undivided attention for a time but still managed to destroy several Jaegers as well as any Kaiju it came across is pretty remarkable. But, what's equally odd is that it seems to go out of it's way to hunt down any Kaiju it can find and consume them, sans the Boy. As a bio-mecha, feeding on the Kaiju as a means of sustenance would make sense, but maybe it's also what let Apex become strong enough to take on as many Jaegers as it has and *win*.
This show takes place in an Alternate Continuity.
