- Where did Bunyip Man's pet Trespasser "Lucy" come from? And why does he credit it as the species that felled the Australian wall, when in the first film that honor goes to Mutavore?
- Despite the majority of the series taking place more than five years after Uprising, and the Australian continent being abandoned entirely to the Kaiju invasion, somehow there are only a tiny handful of Kaiju actually wandering around. The Kaiju are supposed to be weapons/terraforming creatures that prepare the environment for the Precursors, yet they haven't actually done anything. Based on the first movie, the rate of Kaiju incursion is supposed to increase geometrically, so there should be a steady stream of Kaiju emerging from all the breaches across Australia, resulting in thousands of the things.
- It's probably a safe bet Apex kept that particular area clear. Nom nom nom.
- Why did Mei still have the two-way radio?
- Better yet, why didn't Joel throw it away as soon as Shane started talking about 'insurance'? (Well, a couple possible explanations for that one.)
