- There's a house on Route 3 where a mother and two children live. The mother expresses annoyance that they have a house right by the beach, but her kids never want to go outside. The son says he hates sand because it's coarse, rough, and gets everywhere.
- Adam's reaction if you accidentally KO the Legendary Pokémon Lanthan is not entirely unwarranted.
- "[You]... What did you do? WHAT DID YOU DO!?"
- The game then gives you a cutscene where Lanthan tells you you lack skill. Ouch.
- Version 1.2.2 introduced "Optimized English" as a language option. Selecting it changes the text to Leet Lingo.
- Version 1.2.3 renamed the option to "1337 Speak", with the patch notes saying this was because "April Fool's is long over and some people seemed to be missing the joke."
- According to the wiki, Fortog
used to be called Fartog. It was changed when "someone pointed out how immeasurably stupid that sounded." - After dealing with CURIE at Nuclear Plant Omicron, Professor Bamb'o tells you and Theo to just fly back to the Ranger HQ, prompting a brief, confused silence from the two of you. Bamb'o then realizes that he forgot to give you two the Fly HM, to his embarassment and Theo's annoyance.
- Bamb'o: Oh wait...don't tell me...I forgot to give you both the Fly HM? Well, this is awkward...
Theo: You mean you had it this entire time?! Geez, I had to walk and Surf everywhere I went! You must be losing it in your old age, pops.
Bamb'o: Okay, okay, I get it. Sheesh, I'm not THAT old...
- Considering this exchange is after you've gotten all eight gym badges, Theo's probably saying what the player is thinking, especially if you chose to do the Ninja Reunion Sidequest before getting the final badge.
