Week 8
Discharge
- Early on during "Discharge", Boyfriend sings solo as a voice tries to convince him into giving in. When Soul Boyfriend shows up, how does he greet his normal self? By chucking a guitar at Boyfriend's head, snapping him out of his depressed state and getting into the song proper.
Week 10
Headshot
- Near the end of the song Boyfriend thinking he’s won makes a peace sign … Pico immediately shoots him.
- As Boyfriend bleeds out on the ground from the bullet wound he received from Evil Pico, Girlfriend quickly gets back up to give Evil Pico a Death Glare. When Boyfriend suddenly gets back up and reveals that the bullet only went through his hand, Girlfriend surprisingly loses her anger and cheers for him afterwards without a worry.
Week 11
- A fairly small moment, but after the Tankman Colossus's destruction, Pico punches Boyfriend in the face as payback for what happened a few minutes prior, and Girlfriend looks itching to get him clobbered for that. It serves as quite the fitting Brick Joke after an intense showdown.
- Boyfriend's first reaction to meeting the Monster Clown known as The Harvester? Why, shake hands with them, of course!

- Word of God has revealed rather amusing details that don't show up in the mod itself:
- The whole reason Corrupted Pico has chains on him? He ended up attacking a chain fence.
- As incredibly dangerous as Corrupted victims are to encounter, much like your standard Zombie Apocalypse enemies, they apparently can't open doors.
- Soul Boyfriend has a Twitter account run by Pincer
, which exaggerates his love of guitars to hilarious degrees, showing that he's just as much of an idiot as normal BF.Soul Boyfriend: "Got the world's smallest guitar, the "Nano Guitar" cuz it's 1/20th of the size of a human hair. That obviously sounded cool at the time but it absolutely sucks to play because you literally cannot hear its frequencies. Terrible purchase. Couldn't even find it to return it. Mad." - Another tweet has plan to take a giant guitar prop, believing it actually functions, only to find it's too heavy for him to lift.
- Another tweet has someone ask him what his favorite animal was, to which he responds "guitars".
- In a quote tweet on his Twitter, Phantom Fear describes how he drafted a few different designs for Soul Boyfriend's guitar, with the final being decided by team vote. This post is accompanied by a tweet by another user that included a fanart of the guitar chuck scene from "Discharge" with an actual axe guitar and Boyfriend looking much more fearful of it getting thrown at him.
- The final skit of the 2021 Christmas special is Boyfriend pulling an obviously wrapped guitar out of a pile of presents with stars in his eyes, only for Soul Boyfriend to swipe it from him, laughing as BF glares at him.
