Disc One Nuke / Monster Legends

Go To

There are many, many monsters you can obtain late in the game that break the competitive meta, all of which can, of course, be found here. However, there are also some monsters that can shred through the earliest points of the game, however useless they may be much later on.

  • Just by having a Facebook Account, you can immediately start the game with a Komocat that hatches in just an hour. At a point where your team will consist of 2 Common monsters and either a Greenasaur or a Pandaken, Komocat will be a huge powerhouse with his Rare status. Additionally, his Nature element allows him to be placed in the same Nature habitat as Treezard, and his Water element lets him deal high damage to Fire monsters way before you have access to other Water monsters.
  • Similarly, it only takes 10 levels in the adventure map to get Primigenius. Being another Nature monster, he's also easy to get a habitat for, but the real shining point about him is his Epic rarity, meaning he's much better than most of, if any, of the monsters you'll have at that point. His moves also lean towards a very tanky playstyle, with healing and Stunning moves. Additionally, he just so happens to be of the Earth element, which is very helpful against the second boss.
  • Out of any of the Rare monsters in the game, the best of the bunch is easily Rhodent. Being easily bred once you have Thunder Eagle and Tyrannoking, Rhodent is the only rare with multiple moves that give him extra turns, all of which also have no cooldown so they can be spammed. In a part of the game where there's no Anticipation to bother you, Rhodent will be dealing quite a bit of damage, especially to any Water monsters around. If he still isn't dealing enough damage for you, though, that's okay; he also has two Double Damage moves, both of which also provide a great second effect (either regaining 20% stamina or dropping negative effects).
  • Every player first starting the game gets access to a Knights and Castles Maze until a certain level, and lucky players are able to obtain Marquis de Flambe from this maze. Once you're able to place him down, he'll very likely be the first Legendary monster you obtain, and he's quite a powerful one at that. With moves that deal high damage, a wide array of status effects that include several tortures and even Stun, fantastic stats all around, and an amazing trait in Anticipation, he's likely to absolutely demolish the early game and prove a powerful ally all the way up until you start obtaining Mythics and Cosmics.
  • When it comes to Cosmic monsters, it's well known in the community that monsters obtained from cells won in PvP battles are very easy to get, as chests provide many cells per opening and the different possible tiers aren't linked to player level. Not only can this easily give the player powerful Legendary monsters, but getting lucky with your chest tiers can even get you cells of Mythic monsters, and opening enough chests can net you a free Cosmic monster that changes every season, some of which have historically been very powerful even amongst other, late-game Cosmics, such as Arobat (an effective denier that activates cooldowns and blinds foes) or Kaguya (a powerful attacker that uses extra turns to deal insane damage). Heck, even if the monster of the season isn't as great compared to those, it's still a Cosmic monster that'll mercilessly rip the difficulty of anything early-game in half with its tremendous stats.
