Yes, even the series about a blue puppy having fun with her airhead owner has its impressive moments, just like its predecessor.

     Season 1
  • Meet Josh:
    • Years after the original series it is revealed that, with his hopscotch scholarship, Steve graduated in the field of justice and became a detective with his own agency. He's still an airhead, but it's clear that he's evolved a lot from the boy who needed children's help to solve mysteries.
      • In the same vein, Joe became the main administrator of the Present Store, one of the locations in the original series, and later it is revealed that he has plans to expand it.
    • The moment Josh finally understands Blue's Clue game, and finishes the song "To Play Blue's Clues", is so impressive that it makes Joe and Steve get emotional.
    • Josh solving his first game of Blue's Clues (with viewer help) followed immediately by Steve and Joe excited to see if he got the right answer.
    • The three hosts singing the end of the old song “So Long” together and then Josh alone singing it a second time before saying goodbye.
  • Blue's Big News:
    • Instead of Blue alone guiding the game of Blue's Clue as usual, everyone (except Josh and Mrs Pepper for obvious reasons) joins in for a big, well-coordinated game that mixes Blue's Clue with a treasure hunt, all with the goal of giving the news of Mrs Pepper's pregnancy to Josh.
    • Like Steve, although Josh is a little slow, he is still quick to understand how the Chalk World works. He uses the way the world works to his advantage when he and Blue are about to be hit by a wave, because if everything is made of chalk then everything can be erased.
  • A minor example in Sad Day with is Blue learning to assert herself to her best friend Magenta, while focusing on not hurting her friend.

     Season 2
  • Lola completing the “So Long” song fabulously in "Blue's Big Baking Show", while Josh can only watch stunned while admiring his Lola.

     Season 3
  • In "Rainbow Puppy's Skidoo Adventure", Rainbow Puppy not only proved to be quite graceful but more talented than our protagonists in the art of skidoo, being able to do double skidoos and create entire objects for Josh and Blue's safety in these locations, at the end of the episode she even takes Josh and Blue to the space between the skidoo frames.
    • Although Rainbow Puppy makes the chase more difficult, Josh and Blue never give up and are able to overcome every challenge she creates.
  • Blue and the Little Rainbow Riding Hood:
    • Although the show had everything to go wrong, with the help of the viewer the musical became a hit.
    • At the end of the episode the viewer is the answer to Blue's Clues, which not only surprises them, but also makes Josh proud, with him saying that he would enter a friend and leave as a star. In the end the viewer's performance as Big Bad Wolf is so good that both Josh and Rainbow Puppy praise them, and encourage them to bow along with the other actors, because they deserve it.

     Season 4
  • "Magenta's Thank You Day Surprise" solidifies Magenta's status as an Ascended Extra when instead of letting Blue guide the game, she creates her own variation called Magenta's Clues.
  • The Blue Big Derby: Slippery appears to have been forced to choose between helping his cousin who was in an accident or winning the race. He ends up managing to do both, making the result a draw between him and Slick.
  • "Return of the Thinking Squad" reveals that Cinnamon is actually quite intelligent and would be a talented villain if he wanted to, nearly defeating the Thinking Squad with his ice powers.
  • The Case of the Missing Thinking Chair:
    • The revelation that the entire episode was a big plan by Joe (with some help from Blue) and that he was able to plan everything and "Abduct the Thinking Chair under their noses of everyone (included Sidetable that was in the same environment), it is not only very funny but also quite impressive.
    • Even though Steve is our usual Clueless Detective, he still finds the third clue with some ease, being able to figure out that Orange Kitten knew the location of the third clue and passing the message on to Josh, without help from the viewer this time.
  • In "Josh visits the Philippines" not only Josh but also his cousins overcome their stage fright together and sing along with Lola about how much they love their family.
