     Tropes A-F
  • Abandon the Disabled: In "Telling the truth to my sister who ran away from taking care of our dad," Haruka got annoyed with tending to her paraplegic grandfather and abandoned both him and her sister Nagisa, even when she was the one who caused the accident that caused his predicament in the first place on their way to celebrate the man's sixtieth birthday.
  • Abusive Parents:
    • Kanta's mother would hit him whenever she was annoyed by something. This caused Kanta to be taken away and put in the foster system.
    • Mio's parents would beat her whenever she surpassed her younger sister Akane. This caused her to hang out with gangs, so she would convince them that she's a good for nothing.
    • Haru's mother often scolds her and doesn't feed her properly just because she was blind. When Haru told her story to the Uwasa Gang, they are angry and ended up taking Haru's mother to a crab fishing bob. Haru was adopted by a host family afterwards.
  • Adaptational Species Change: Hokuro/Moley was changed to be an alligator in the English dub.
  • Aerith and Bob: While the channel uses Japanese names, there is a character named Leon which is not a Japanese name. However, considering his father is Yujiro, it was probably his idea to give him a foreign name.
  • Accidental Kidnapping:
    • Haruto's boss kidnapped his bride Ayane on the day of his wedding. It later turned out that the gang members he hired made a mistake and he actually kidnapped the Uwasa gang boss's niece named Ayana, who was having a wedding on the same day. This got him into trouble with the yakuza.
    • Iori's parents kidnap his fiancée Himari on the day of their wedding. When Iori came to rescue her, he discovered that it wasn't Himari who was kidnapped but her friend Misa who resembles Himari except for her hair color.
    • Shizuka's mother-in-law kidnapped her baby daughter, Miki, because she wasn't giving birth to the family's heir. However the baby turned out to be Mei, Masamune and Aoi's newborn child. This got her into trouble with the Uwasa Gang. They toss the mother-in-law up and down with the baby to cheer Aoi up.
  • Accidental Public Confession:

    • My husband and daughter kicked me out of the house without even knowing what I did for them - when the Ugumori brothers revealed that they chatted with Miki through an online game, Miki dismisses all the stuff she told them as a joke, especially that she was going to scam Kobayashi out of her money. Angered by her stepdaughter's lack of remorse, she kicks the brat out of her house.
  • Actual Pacifist: Mei dislikes violence despite being the daughter of the Yakuza boss.
  • Alpha Bitch: Ririka is the most popular girl in Takuya's high school. She began to bully Takuya when he accidentally got sweat on her clothes. Later on, she tried to get with him when she found out that he became a successful author but he turned her down.
  • Animesque: The channel's stories use Vyond's Business Friendly Style, which not only resembles anime from a glance but also allows for the use of visual conventions from anime and manga.

  • Ass Shove: In this story, when Sumomo used her toy wand bought by her mother Himari to heal her treacherous "ex-daddy" Masaki of his paraplegic state, she ended up shoving it up his butt, after which she runs off. After the passersby look at the scene, he became known as the town pervert for having a toy wand stuck in there in public.
  • Ax-Crazy: Akio, Haruka's husband, looks like a Nice Guy at first, but he also has a violent side whenever he gets mad at her. The reason for this, according to Inuzuka, was because he was a drug junkie.
  • Baby-Doll Baby: Rendered mentally ill by the stress of paying their debts, Akina and her mother look after a baby doll named "Haruka" because the former suffered a miscarriage on top of her husband leaving upon finding out her debt history.
  • Backhanded Apology: When Haruto calls his sister Misaki out for cheating on her husband Ken, we have this exchange:

He recorded said prank and threatened to upload it to the internet if Miho refused to let him use her baby, only for the Ugumori brothers to show up. Leon then pins Masa down with a box they carried before he could do any harm.
  • Blazing Inferno Hellfire Sauce: Near the end of "Telling the truth to my sister who ran away from taking care of our dad," Heiji eats the takoyaki Nagisa sent from Inuzuka only to hurt his mouth; it turns out Inuzuka put "death sauce" on the takoyaki as revenge for telling Mei he liked egg bolos and causing her to give him a pacifier on Valentine's Day.

    • Maki disrespected her mother Akiho Kuramoto and her father won't do anything to help. Maki later apologized to Akiho and they made up.
    • Mari was a rebellious teenage girl who refused to tell her mother Azusa why she was upset. When Azusa called the school on Sumomo's advice, the teacher refused to answer as well. • Bring My Brown Pants: Both Haruhi's older sister and fiancé wetted themselves after Haruhi's "ghost" came out of her coffin to scare them out cold after the "mourning" relatives left the lovebirds alone in the "funeral".
  • Butt-Monkey:
    • Haruto is always teased by his daughter Rin and it is played for laughs.
