Funny / Gossip City

While Gossip City has some serious moments, there are a bunch of funny moments.

• Himari getting drunk and humiliating her elitist grandmother who refused to serve her food because she didn't go to college.
  • In the same story, a flashback to Himari's teenage years showed that she was not that different from Sumomo. She played pretend to be a pirate.
• Rin and Haruto headbutting each other trying to swap bodies but failing miserably. One time they thought they succeeded but Ayane pulls them back to reality.
  • Inuzuka and his groupies Amane and Yuria doing their "Rin is Rin" bit to distract Mukumoto, Haruto's crazy co-worker who is trying to kill Ayane and Rin. While he is distracted, they kicked his butt. While this is occurring Ayane is just confused and stood there in a daze.
  Inuzuka: Shut up! RIN PUNCH!
  • Rin trying to head-butt Inuzuka and his groupies trying to switch bodies. Then they go along with it.
• Asuka's brother and his wife tried to exchange their daughter for her sons, Leon and Mamoru. They accept but they show up in blonde and even brought Haruto and Inuzuka. Haruto and Inuzuka bothered them so much to the point that they tried to turn themselves in for abusing their daughter. When they got out and tried to get away, random adults kept cropping up and calling them "Mommy and Daddy" thanks to Leon.
  Random man: Mom, Dad, I'm hungry.
• This line:
  Koharu: Hey guys! My name is Sussu... Wait a minute! My name is Koharu!
• Sumomo forcing Inuzuka to pretend to be a baby.
  • Rin also forces him along with Haruto to pretend babies, showing Inuzuka a ticket Mei gave her to force him to do as she says.
• Yujiro in general:
  • Yujiro making up his own language to ward off Kana, who was flirting with him.
  • He caused Mr. Katsuda to lose his job as a congressman by nonchalantly revealing that he used to be a bully during his childhood who steals other kids' lunch, licks recorders and was caught trying on girls' uniform.
  • Yujiro and Leon showing up in cheerleading costumes to cheer Mamoru during his class observation day. When asked why, Yujiro said that Asuka told him to wear the cheerleading outfit for a week.
• Leon trying to wave a watch to hypnotize Mari into falling asleep but he ends up falling asleep himself.
• Sumomo, Rin and Mei unknowingly ruined Masa's father's reputation by showing prostitutes' calling cards to random women mistaking them for trading cards.
• Sumomo playing mad scientist by slipping long-expired kalpiko into her father’s cream stew as a response to him feeding Himari paint ^note  she was pregnant and he was upset she wasn’t doing any chores , causing him to have a Potty Failure at work. To make this better, both Himari and the audience only find out about this when Haruto (the husband’s boss) visits to see if he was there after running away.
• Himari and her daughter run into Masaki after he’s left wheelchair bound and single, and Himari ends up pulling Masaki out of his wheelchair after he tried to stop her from leaving, leaving him on the ground with his behind exposed. Sumomo (who’s imitating Black Jack in this episode) decides to try to operate by using her toy Sailor Moon wand, only to get it stuck in his ass completely by accident.
  • To make this even funnier, Himari ends up leaving Masaki alone when she has to run after a crying Sumomo, so Masaki is left alone with the wand stuck in his butt for people to see. And sure enough, he’s quickly labelled as a pervert and he gets the police called on him, resulting in the cop trying to lecture him while Masaki pleads for help. Finally, after a humiliating trip to the hospital (with the doctors’ faces going red at the sight), the rod is finally removed, but the damage was done to Masaki’s reputation, as people make fun of the incident and continue to call him a pervert.
• After Sayaka pooped herself, Leon poured calpius on his pants and pretended he peed himself to distract everyone from Sayaka's accident.
• When Haruto collapsed on the floor from overwork and asked for water, Rin pours water on him with a watering can.
• Leon mis-read a wedding invitation and thought it was a werewolf wedding. The accountants played along with the mistake and indulged Leon. Fearing that he will get eaten, Leon decided to act like a werewolf to blend in for the rest of the video.
