Trolling Creator: Chapter 21 ends with Benitez barging into Kincaid's room with a major problem, alluding to the Hakone shootout. Chapter 22 shows that Benitez actually meant the supply of condoms and the Hakone shootout never happened.
Write Who You Know: The Marines of Here We Go Again are largely based off the author's former tank crew as well as himself. Word of God confirms that while the names are different, their callsigns (a.k.a war names) and personalities are carried over into the fic.
