Go To

When a stray shot from Dr. Doofenshmirtz's "Impersonator-inator" turns Candace into a pizza guy, she takes advantage of her new form to learn more about how men think, distracting her from Phineas and Ferb's latest project.

Tropes:

  • Absurdly Long Stairway: Perry tries to enter his lair without getting caught by the gang, but has to resort to walking down a long flight of stairs. Major Monogram gives Agent P his mission by shouting into the stairwell.

  • The Bus Came Back:
  • Continuity Nod: Doof recalls to Perry the the pizza day debacle.

  • Gender Bender: Candace accidentally gets a hologram of a male pizza delivery guy zapped onto her. She uses this to her advantage to try to bond with Jeremy and his male friends.
  • Holographic Disguise: The Impersonator-inator attaches a holographic image of a person onto someone. It also somehow makes them the same strength as the image they are impersonating, as lampshade by Doof.
  • No Ontological Inertia: After Doof's inator is destroyed, the holographic images disable.
  • Noodle Implements: The gang's Big Idea somehow involves "thingamawhatsits" and helicopter blades.
  • One-Word Vocabulary: The unnamed friend of Jeremy and Coltrane only says "What?"
  • Out of Focus: Phineas and the gang are barely in this episode, and we don't even find out what the big idea is until the end.
  • Shapeshifter Showdown: Doof and Perry get zapped by the Impersonator-inator and get transformed into various characters.
  • Shout-Out: During Doof's ramblings, he figures "Why be a lieutenant-general, when I could be a major-general? Why not? I'm a modern guy."
  • Strange Minds Think Alike: Apparently, Buford and Candace are surprised that Phineas did not use lingonberry air over strawberry air.
  • Suddenly Always Knew That: Candace claims are men are like those Egyptian drawings that no one understands. But Stacy explains that hieroglyphics were deciphered in the 1800s after the discovery of the Rosetta Stone.
Candace: Fine. They're like something else no one understands. Like how you know that?
    Stacy: I 'unno.
