• Huna takmun Abu Ghraib — Closed. ^note Cut due to flame wars.
• Here lie Acceptable Inevitable Targets — As inevitable as their deaths.^note The Same, but More Specific to Acceptable Targets (which got turned into an index anyway), or a duplicate for these targets for being inevitable regardless.
• Here lie Acceptable Lifestyle Targets — Their lifestyles led to their deaths.^note The exact targets ended up changing over time and the trope was determined to be redundant with the various tropes listed on Acceptable Targets as well as Unacceptable Targets.
• Here lies Access — Denied.^note Not a trope. The page was made solely to complain about the speed of Internet connections.
• Here lies Adaptation For Child Performers — Trope Elementary's world famous musical has completed its final performance.^note Underperforming index. Since it's still a trope that had the misfortune of being executed poorly, salvaging the definition was deemed a job for the Trope Launch Pad.

• Here lies Alien Scrappy — Sent back to its home planet. ^note A redundant subtrope to The Scrappy, with all the complaining that implies.
• Here lies All Hallows' Eve — Drowned while bobbing for apples.^note Redundant with Halloween Episode, Halloween Special, and the holiday's separate, but identically named Useful Notes page.

• Here lies Always V Sexy — Verily vanquished.^note Intended for female characters with names starting with the letter "V" to indicate sexiness. Was proven to be a case of Victorian velvet chairs.
• Here lies An Aesop — The real lesson was the friends we made along the way.^note One of the worst ZCE magnets in the history of the wiki. Tropers kept shoehorning this trope in episode recaps and work pages without abandon. Many examples simply devolved into tropers guessing the theme of the lesson regardless or not if it was explicitly expressed In-Universe within the work, causing major violations of adding fanon interpretations. This led to many wicks being ZCEs consisting of Aesop's Fables styled ending messages that were almost certainly out of place with the rest of the work. It was turned into a definition-only supertrope with almost all wicks being gutted. The description was also rewritten to explicitly state that it is specifically about moral lessons rather than Aesop's Fables-themed messages and attribute its possible YMMV status shared by some of its subtropes.
• Here lie Anti-Goggles and Anti-Shipping Goggles — They just weren't meant to be.^note Intended as the inverse of Shipping Goggles where people ignore evidence of ships, it ended up amounting to people Complaining About People Not Liking Their Ships. Redirected to Shipping Goggles, which received an Example Sectionectomy.

• Here lies Armchair Psychology — Stripped of its license to practice medicine, its furniture, and its life.^note In addition to being poorly written, it misused the preexisting term "armchair psychology" in a misleading way.

• Here lies As Many X As There Are Y — There were as many reasons to cut it as there was backlog in the Trope Repair Shop.^note Underperforming and meaningless stock phrase.
• Here lies Atlantis is Boring — Not even Aquaman would stay there on vacation.^note Misused to the point where aversions of the trope were widespread on the page, thanks to an unclear description.

• Here lie Baby Boomers — Definitely weren't okay after the explosion.^note Trope was meant for bombs in baby carriages, but this turned out Too Rare to Trope, resulting in misuse for things like exploding babies or the generation.

• Here lie Dueling Musicians — Both ended up being Dreadful Musicians.^note Was too subjective and attracted debates and edit wars regarding which musicians were superior.
• Here lies Dunno What's Going On, But... — Even the coroner doesn't know how this one died.^note Meaningless stock phrase.
• Here lies Edward Oedipus Gayfish Cullen — Speared on a stake intended for someone else.^note An early former member of the Permanent Red Link Club, it was a troll page created to complain about The Twilight Saga. Delisted from the PRLC when it was moved from Main to Administrivia, but that's not an invitation to recreate it...
• Here lies Election Night — Impeached.^note A mess of natter, weblinks, and sinkholes that did a poor job of covering elections and election-related tropes. Rather than being cut entirely, it was turned into a redirect for Election Day Episode.
• Here lies Elemental Ignorance — Ignored the warnings about the tree in the way.^note Deemed redundant with Poor, Predictable Rock. A murky description led to Trope Decay immediately from launch; the original sponsor of the draft didn't want to leave it at just Elemental Powers. Cut for not thriving as a result.
• Here lies EOD Suit — The Embrace Of Death suits it quite well.^note The page was written like a glossary entry rather than a trope page - not that it was a trope in the first place.
• Here lies Ethnicity-Obscuring Mutation — Mutated beyond recognition.^note Was supposed to be about characters whose nonhuman mutations hide their ethnicity, but many examples were just mutant People of Color, which is mutated chairs. The concept was yarded, however.
• Here lies Even the Wombats Want Him — Eaten by wombats that wanted him.^note Bad snowclone featuring a mixture of various human-animal interaction tropes like Bestiality Is Depraved and Interspecies Romance while not being distinct from them.
• Here lies Everybody Hates Ares — Hated so much he was kicked out. ^note Bad snowclone of Everybody Hates Hades. "Adaptations of Greek Mythology make Ares bad except when they don't" was deemed too meaningless to keep.

• Here lie Weapons for Hands — They were disarmed by being cut off.^note Created by a ban-evading troper, plus most examples it could have had are covered by Arm Cannon and Blade Below the Shoulder.
• Here lies We Haven't Learned Anything Yet — Learned that tropes for complaining don't get very far.^note A vague Stock Phrase name that was frequently confused with Ignored Aesop. Not helping was the trope's actual purpose of complaining about Anvilicious works not following through on their aesop.
• Here lies Welcome to the Dark Side — We Have Cookies — The cookies were made with a little bit of sugar, but lots of poison too.^note "Character discovers that Dark Is Not Evil" is not a distinct enough trope from Dark Is Not Evil itself. It was also mistaken for a stock phrase, and the description featured an overly long explanation that it's unrelated to Star Wars. The name was later reused for a redirect to the otherwise unrelated Was Actually Friendly (which itself was later merged with Not Always Evil) when that trope was launched, but said redirect was cut for lacking a useful purpose.
• Here lies Westboro Baptist Church — Died in a holy war and had its funeral picketed.^note Attracted complaining and religious fights. Determined to not even be worthwhile as a Useful Notes page since the church has less than a hundred members and very few media appearances.
• Here lies We Suck Less — Despite their claims, they hadn't changed at all.^note Wasn't thriving, despite being around since 2007.
• Here lies We've Got Ourselves a _____ — We've got ourselves a dead trope.^note This stock phrase was declared Definition-Only without proper discussion by a troper years ago, leading to a strange case of Trope Decay where wicks couldn't be collected for the page outside of Potholes. There were only two links that weren't on indexes. It was finally put out of its weak misery for not thriving as a result.
• Here lies What Are You Looking At? — That NPC didn't see the reaper coming.^note This chair never turned around.
• Here lies What the Hell, Dad? — Called out for his Parental Neglect.^note Poorly named and already covered by multiple tropes. Since the name sounded closest to Calling the Old Man Out, it was turned into a redirect to that trope.
• Here lies Where They Were — They're no longer here.^note Redundant with How We Got Here.
• Here lieth White Knighting — Made a Heroic Sacrifice while fighting the trolls. ^note Defined as a type of "typical internet user" (which isn't a trope), widely misused.
