- Anal Probing: Aliens try to stick things up a human's butt.
- Anuscape Plan: Characters inside of another character's body exit or contemplate exiting through the back door, often to the horror of both parties.
- Ass Kicks You: A fighter attacks by lunging their backside at the target.
- Ass Shove: Something gets shoved up a character's ass.
- Baby Don't Got Back: A character who is distressed because they don't have a curvaceous or voluminous bum.
- Bare-Bottomed Monkey: The butts of primates are emphasized or exaggerated for humor.
- Boobs-and-Butt Pose: A woman poses with her back turned to the camera to show off her ass.
- Bowel-Breaking Bricks: When someone poops out an object that isn't poop, due to surprise.
- Bring My Brown Pants: A character shits themselves out of fear.
- Butt Biter: A character get bitten on the butt (usually) by animals.
- Butt Cannon: A character's butt gets used as a cannon.
- Butt Sticker: Crushed by a larger character's butt when he/she sits down.
- Cactus Cushion: A person gets hurt by landing butt-first onto a cactus.
- Cheek Copy: As a prank, a person sits on a photocopier with their pants down to print pictures of their bare behind.
- Comedic Spanking: Characters getting spanked are Played for Laughs.
- Comically Oversized Butt: A gag about a character with an oversized butt.
- Corporal Punishment: Spanking someone as a form of punishment.
- Embarrassing Hospital Gown: Wearing a hospital gown is seen as embarrassing, bothersome, or humorous due to butt exposure.
- Excrement Statement: Character taking a shit (or urinating) on a certain object or person to show contempt.

- Farts on Fire: A character's fart produces fire.
- Female Gaze: A nice close-up shot of a man's buttocks.
- Flirtatious Smack on the Ass: A man smacks a woman on the ass in a sexual way.
- Gasshole: A character who farts (or burps) a lot.
- Hartman Hips: Most female characters with wide hips usually (but not always) have big butts.
- Intimate Marks: A character has certain writing or insignias emblazoned on a personal body part or the clothing worn over that particular part of the anatomy (the buttocks being a common location).
- Joke of the Butt: Bums are funny.
- Kinky Spanking: A character has a fetish for getting spanked, or spanking is played for Fanservice.
- Literal Ass-Kicking: Taking a swift kick (or some other form of attack) to the buttocks.
- Literal Ass-Kissing: Kissing someone else's buttocks to demonstrate humiliation and submission.

- Mooning: A character bares his/her butt in front of other people as a means of either pranking or contempt.

- The Pratfall: Falling on your butt as a form of comedy.
- Rump Roast: A character's butt catches on fire.
- Shaking the Rump: A character shake their butts to show either sexual arousal or cockiness.
- Shot in the Ass: A character takes a bullet to the ass.
- Someone's Touching My Butt: Accidental ass grab through unintentional extrication between two or more characters.
- Stuck in the Doorway: A character gets stuck, usually around their butt, either because their butt is too big or the opening is too small.
- Stuffy Old Songs About the Buttocks: Songs that talk about butts.
- Suppository Gag: Guess what, it's not a pill.
- Thermometer Gag: A gag about how rectal thermometers are unexpected and/or unpleasant.
- Thong of Shielding: A woman's (or sometimes a man's) butt is shown through a thong.
- Thumbtack on the Chair: A prank where a thumbtack is put on a person's chair, ensuring that they're in for an unpleasant and painful surprise once they sit down.
- Toasted Buns: Rear end gets burned by a jetpack.
- Underwater Fart Gag: That's not a jacuzzi.
- Whoopee Cushion: A prank novelty that is inflated and put into the chair of an unsuspecting person so that when they sit down, it sounds like they farted.
