"Maybe we can give that dancing thing a try."
"I would love that."

  • Most- scratch that, any interaction between Bowser and Liz.
    • Especially the dream vision he had when he courts her to dance.
    • Episode 20 has Liz finally able to fluently speak English, thanks to a tongue twister that Lucario has her recite. While Bowser is a bit miffed it was that simple, Lucario notes that it likely wouldn't have been possible if Bowser hadn't been teaching over the past month. After Liz thanks Bowser for his continued teachings, he wonders where she gets off sounding this "cute."
    • Also in Episode 20, Bowser and Liz start discussing their individual resolves about how Liz wanted to open an agency with Bowser, along with Liz's desires to be a fighter. While the moment is broken up by Wario telling the lizards to hurry up, the Charizard states how happy she is to see Bowser free from imprisonment.
Liz: It's so good to see you back, Bowser.
Bowser: I'm not going anywhere, any time soon. Trust me.
  • In the first episode, Wario offers to be Bowser's third teammate for the Tourney. While Bowser loudly shoots him down because he doesn't need another heavy-weight fighter like himself (which Tigura may have admitted could have been his subtle insult of his fatness), he grudgingly accepted the offer before leaving.
  • Meta Knight proves to be a valuable teammate to Bowser, even after hearing Mario's story of being left for dead by the titular turtle back in Melee. He seems to have some doubts, but then he recalls his victory over Toon Link, to see Bowser clapping for him.
Mario: -So, just imagine how I must have felt when we both ran after Ganondorf before he could meet with God, and then he came out of nowhere and betrayed me!
Meta Knight: ...I understand that. Now you'll just have to understand that I don't want to believe you.
    Mario: Wh-what?!
Meta Knight: Although I asked for it, you're telling me all these things, and I've only met you just now. I've been with Bowser for nearly a month. Imagine how I must feel now.
Mario: ...I see. So, you're not gonna move, are you?
Meta Knight: Your obvious obsessiveness to get to Bowser isn't making it any better to convince me otherwise. I've been afraid for the longest time, but I'm not going to let it get to me again. Not with my friend at stake.
Mario: Fine. Then I'll just get you to move by force.
    Meta Knight: You can try.
  • Even though Wario and Meta Knight are caught in a bad position via Snake's group, Wolf acts civil and shares introductions with Wario, with hints of a 'bromance'.
  • Episode 14, as awesome and dramatic as it was, was very touching in its own right too. Particularly how nearly everyone went out of their way to protect Bowser from either Mario's accusations (by asking to hear his version of the story) or from Snake, Samus and Wolf taking Bowser to the Creator.
  • The third part of Episode 15, where Bowser's friends visit him after he turned himself in to the B.S. Society. All in their own way, they care for him, and it deeply moves him. It borderlines on Tear Jerker, especially with the music and Bowser's thoughts.
Bowser: I gave you all time to think it over... and you still want me to stay... (sniffles)
  • Raccanto File 8 really shows the height of Bowser and Mewtwo's friendship. Becomes a Tear Jerker when you realize that come Brawl Mewtwo/Lucario is out to kill Bowser because of a betrayal.
  • Episode 17 and Racconto File 1 also delves into the bond between Bowser and Pichu. Bowser's life is a living hell (given the exceptional amount of abuse he gets for being a bottom and a villain), yet Pichu is always there to perk him up. Yet another Tear Jerker considering Pichu's fate at the hands of Ganondorf.
  • This one takes some thinking to realize. In the short "Dr. Mario, I presume", Link takes R.O.B. to Dr. Mario to have his eyes fixed. It's played for comedy that Link doesn't realize he needs a mechanic to fix his robotic ally, but it can also be seen as sweet, that Link thinks of R.O.B. as a person and not a machine, hence why he goes to a doctor.
    • Though considering this incarnation of Link isn't exactly right in the head and regards the R.O.B.s as simple machines (even dismissing the fact that R.O.B. short circuited after rain exposure), it may just be his way of getting R.O.B. fixed as quick as possible.
  • Wario and Bowser "bonding" in Episode Bowser, especially since this is chronologically the first time where Bowser reveals his relationship with Queen Peach to someone else.
  • Episode 18 has Bowser and Mario reconciling in a way. Mario still holds a bit of ill-will towards the King of Koopas, but it's become less of a grudge match, and more of them facing each other as rivals.
  • There's something oddly endearing about the way Ridley takes interest in Ganondorf's beast form, as well as how Ganon treats his newfound ally.
Ganondorf: You scratch my back, and I'll scratch yours.
Ridley: Heh, listen to you. Whispering sweet nothings in my ear...
  • After meeting Mewtwo, Bowser Jr. begs the Pokemon to tell him about his father.
  • Despite technically being a non-canon sequel, Bowser in Smash King HD manages to be Happily Married with Lizardon, even adopting the Koopalings as their children. The HD episodes note how the two are sometimes Sickeningly Sweethearts, or just get along in general. Even the jump to Ultimate shows that the two are together, with Bowser even calling Liz his "Hot Charizard Wife."
    • A Smash King HD short sees Mario, Peach, and Bowser leaving to go golfing together. What's heartwarming about this is that it's implied that they're the classic incarnations, or at least the ones seen in the non-canon Smash King HD continuity, where Bowser has found his happiness in his marriage with Liz, and all three are now on far better terms than their incarnations in Brawl.
  • In the sequel series 2Decades, it's heavily implied that the classic Bowser's dream from the previous series was at least, somewhat successful. Tier lists no longer seem to be a deciding factor on one's life style, nor do they seem to exist anymore. While the original cast aren't around anymore, it's at least heartwarming that the classic Bowser's actions changed the world for the better. It also inspired his descendent, the current Bowser to finish what his predecessor started.
    • Additionally, it's heavily implied that the current Bowser, Peach, and Mario are all on good terms or at the very least think highly of each other. This is shown during the events of episode 5 and the ending sequence of 2Decades. After seeing the last struggles and discord between the previous incarnations of the classic series, it's touching that their descendants are able to get along due to the previous Bowser's actions.
  • Every interaction between Jasper and his adopted daughter Amber in 2Decades.
