• It's established the the Smash King Tourney is an annual event, which means for example, the Tournament in Racconto and the Tournament in the Main Brawl Series were most likely a year apart from each other. Because of this, a very interesting contradiction has appeared in Act 1. Act 1 established that Peach and Bowser searched all of the world of Brawl and never once found a sign of Mario (though admittedly Bowser probably lied about searching since he believed he'd killed Mario). No one else had seen Mario since the end of the Melee Tournament either and also believed he was dead. But suddenly a few days before the tournament, Mario re-appears in Frigate Orpheon with all of his memories from Melee intact, but no memories of what happened during that entire year he was missing. Why didn't he transfer with the other trophies normally? Even the other trophies that died on the same day as Mario (i.e., Bowser himself, Ganon, Link) transferred to Brawl normally with all of their memories intact. The only person that shared a similar fate to Mario was Mewtwo and potentially Roy, who didn't transfer to the worlds properly with the others, but instead was made into an Lesser Trophy stuck in Midna's realm. Where was Mario for that entire year?
  • On a related note, it's established in Act 2 that Mewtwo is a trophy soul of the Twilight Realm, which is a home for people who are either "Lesser Trophies" that don't get to co-exist with the main dimension of trophies. Roy's been there for the entire year since Melee and re-created his own physical form, but he never mentions or seems to have seen Mewtwo for that entire year in that realm, despite Mewtwo belonging there. On top of that, Mewtwo seems to have no memory of ever being a lesser trophy in the Twilight Realm alongside Roy and the others, his last memory is just what he interpreted as Bowser killing him, and the next thing he remembered was possessing Lucario. He also has a strange entire year gap of memory similar to Mario, despite retaining his memories of the events of Melee. Where was he during that missing year as well if not in the Twilight Realm where others would've probably found him after a year?

• Another mystery is, why did the every trophy that died on the final day of Melee retain their memories of what happened that day without normally reincarnating?
