Arguing with yourself is more engaging just like you fight other enemy
Along with the heaps of action the show provides, BoBoiBoy packs as many punches in comedy. Expect a lot of Chirping Crickets, jaw dropping Face Faults and other priceless reactions in response to the occasional nonsense that occurs in the show.

As a Moments subpage, all spoilers are unmarked as per policy. You Have Been Warned.

In General

  • Gopal Kumar is lovely Butt-Monkey of the series. Whenever he comments something that he doesn't like or try to act cool, it always backfires him in comical way.
  • PAPA ZOLA. Almost everything about him. His Zany Scheme and his "motivational" words always entertaining by many fans.
  • The interaction between the BoBoiBoy Elemental Forms can be this and Heartwarming since they act more like brothers than "my other self". However it's still hilarious whenever they do something silly or bicker with each other especially since all of them are essentially the same person. To put it simply, BoBoiBoy is basically messing with "himself".

BoBoiBoy Season 1

    Episode 1
  • BoBoiBoy and Tok Aba hadn't seen each other in a long time so their first reunion ended up with each of them hugging the wrong person.
  • Tok Aba himself left BoBoiBoy a note on how to go to his shop, which described a long, winding, troublesome route that took an hour. Cue his Face Fault reaction when he learns the fact that Tok Aba's shop is actually just next to the house and the owner himself went on a motorcycle.
  • Adu Du theorises that Earth had cocoa energy because it was uninhabited, but he was pointing to the Moon on the hologram.
Computer: Uh, that's not Earth. That's the moon.
    (beat)
    Adu Du: I know.
Probe: Yeah sure you do. (receives a mug thrown at his head)
  • Adu Du tries to introduce himself via Do Not Adjust Your Set. BoBoiBoy just changes the channel, thinking it was just a TV show.

    Episode 2
  • After his first defeat by BoBoiBoy and his friends, Adu Du calls Computer to retrieve him and Probe via Tractor Beam, and he yells that the fight isn't over and he will return. Cue the Chirping Crickets as the tractor beam takes forever to lift them up, like an excruciatingly slow elevator.
    • Adu Du awkwardly repeating "I will return!" during his slow ascension.
    • BoBoiBoy has enough time to summon another Lightning Bolt. Then in the spaceship, Adu Du rises from below the frame with a bandaged, and ticked off, Ash Face.

    Episode 3
  • Thanks to Exact Words that whoever activates Ochobot would be his master, Ochobot starts work at Tok Aba's Cocoa Shop because he was activated with his cocoa.
    • One mini-comic made a gag around this; Ochobot fantasizing about going on awesome adventures with superheroes he granted powers to - then is disappointed to be a barista instead.
  • BoBoiBoy helps Gopal find his powers by testing for any abilities he could think of, leading to a montage of hilarity.
    • To test for Super-Senses, Gopal becomes a blindfolded goalie, supposed to catch the ball should he have that power. He hones his concentration, leaps to the side, arm outstretched - but finds no ball and falls on the ground. BoBoiBoy hadn't even kicked the ball yet.
    • Trying as goalie again, Gopal gets up and says he's ready. The ball flies past him not a second later. Cue the crowing birds as if they're jeering at his efforts.
    • BoBoiBoy then suggests that Gopal may have Super-Toughness, what happens next proves otherwise:
Gopal: (still blindfolded) Oh yeah, definitely! I've always felt that I'm very strong! You know the other day- (gets hit in the gut by BoBoiBoy's soccer ball and falls)
      BoBoiBoy: Okay, maybe not.
    • Finally, BoBoiBoy gets them to test for Laser Eyes. Gopal opens his blindfold and BoBoiBoy kicks the ball high into the air, encouraging Gopal to focus on it as it falls. Gopal stiffly points his fingers to the sides of his head to do so, focusing so hard on the ball that his eyes start crossing. Then it anticlimactically bounces off his face.
  • When Computer tells Adu Du about the Multi-Monster's Self-Duplication ability, Adu Du is confident that the two new Multi-Monsters will defeat the three BoBoiBoys - until the Multi-Monsters are already defeated by the very next frame.
BoBoiBoy Earth: Three against two, what do you expect?

    Episode 5
  • Adu Du allows the forgetful BoBoiBoy some "last words" before he destroys him. What the hero says next makes Adu Du Face Fault into the back of his cockpit.
BoBoiBoy: Which of you is Adu Du? (points at Probe) You.. (points at Adu Du) or him?

    Episode 6
  • An amnesiac BoBoiBoy Lightning can't get Adu Du's name right:
BoBoiBoy Lightning Curse you A.. Ago Go!
Adu Du: (deadpan expression of disbelief)
BoBoiBoy Lightning: Oh that's not it? A... Apak Pak?
Adu Du: (slams head on the table)
BoBoiBoy Lightning: Oh I know! It's A... Ah... Ahmad Kassim!
Adu Du: It's Adu Du! (hurts his hand from punching the table)
  • BoBoiBoy Wind and BoBoiBoy Earth are about to battle each other, but get literally pulled out of the fight by Tok Aba pulling them by the ears. Him announcing it like an attack as well makes it all the funnier.
BoBoiBoy Earth: Feel the power of my rock fists!
BoBoiBoy Wind: Eat my tornado attack first!
Tok Aba: Taste my Ear Twist Attack! (grabs both of them by the ears)
BBB Earth and BBB Wind: Ow ow ow! Ouch!
Tok Aba: Huh, you still wanna fight?
BoBoiBoy Earth: No more, no more! Sorry Tok!
  • Adu Du decides to bring BoBoiBoy Lightning to the torture room, but Probe has turned it into a party room, rendering it unfit for its intended use. Then Computer shows up in clown makeup. She was in this tomfoolery as well.
Adu Du: What have you done to this place?!
Probe: I decorated it to celebrate our victory, Mr Boss! [...]
Adu Du: Eeeee! This is the torture room! Computer! Isn't there any other room?
Computer: (in clown makeup) Uhh.. no, Boss.
    Adu Du: (face faults)

    Episode 9
  • Even after having the game explained to him, Papa Zola still doesn't get how playing checkers works, as he thought losing all his pieces was how to win the game.
  • Adu Du gets kinged into Super Adu Dudududu, and his head grows three times in size from the top, forming a tall cuboid with antennae on top. So much for a grand upgrade.
    • The initial expression of a victory that Adu Du wore on his face upon getting kinged, until Gopal remarks how large his head is.
    • Adu Du does find use for his massive forehead later on anyway - whacking away those on "eaten" pieces with it.

    Episode 10
  • The sheer amount of Breaking the Fourth Wall could count overall, but they'll just avoid questions of reruns by accidentally destroying the letter to the point of spontaneous combustion.
  • Papa Zola fails numerous interviews while finding work to the extent of making a book about the reasons behind failing interviews.
  • The final letter of BoBoiBoy fanmail, which Adu Du answers himself in hopes of getting one person to hate BoBoiBoy, turns out to be from Probe, Adu Du's own Robot Buddy and minion. He gets a severe beating for it.
    • The illustration in the corner of the letter revealing the identity of its writer, a sketch of Probe (in what looks like makeup?) upon flowers, hearts and a cat.
    • Makes for quite the contrast between his writing and Adu Du's written replies in red ink, jagged writing and abrasive words. Adu Du really wanted to get someone against BoBoiBoy and that effort is rendered for naught stupendously.

BoBoiBoy Season 2

    Episode 1
  • Tok Aba was waiting for BoBoiBoy's arrival with Ochobot. During the announcement for the train's arrival, the announcer gives a reminder to hug the right person instead of waiting behind the yellow line, annoying Tok Aba as he knew the announcer was referring to him as a Call-Back in the first episode of the first season.

    Episode 4
  • Instead of using the referee whistle he brought, Papa Zola just makes whistle sounds using his mouth. It seems like he's going to use it, inhaling deeply, before yelling "PREET PREET!" instead.

    Episode 6
  • During the roll call of Adu Du's version of the theme song, Multi-Monster are listed as one of Adu Du's minions even though they already pulled a Heel–Face Turn. Adu Du shows up on screen to protest.

     Episode 9
  • Adu Du already has a hard time trying to slander BoBoiBoy using a self-made talk show. Then, not only Bago Go inexplicably shows up in the commercial break, he is promoting BoBoiBoy toys.
  • In the end, Adu Du's talk show only got four and a half viewers. Apparently a cat counts as a half.

    Episode 10
  • Adu Du and Probe try to dissuade Ejo Jo from coming to Earth by showing him a terribly-edited compilation of BoBoiBoy beating Adu Du. Also, the free trial for the video editor ends midway through the video.

BoBoiBoy Season 3

    Episode 16
  • Ibu Bu has a nickname for Adu Du, Bubuchuk, literally to say...Stinky. Cue Probe holding his laughter and Adu Du threatening him to laugh more if Probe didn't value his life.

    Episode 20
  • Papa Zola said he would not charge for his training but... he will force them to buy his CD song with the price of USD$150 (Approximately RM 600, which is very expensive).

BoBoiBoy The Movie

Almost every part of the movie has its humor and funny moments. It's even funnier if you can understand Malay.
  • The fact that 'candat sotong' (squid spearing) is only done at night, although the pamphlet Papa Zola gave to BoBoiBoy wrote 'Siang pun boleh' (Day also can).
    • During their search for the Tengkotak, while waiting to catch up with the aliens, Mr. Papa decides to spend some time by doing this and try to lure the sotong (Squids) like they are cats. Cue the priceless reactions from Ying and Gopal.
Papa Zola: Meow, meow. Sotong! Meow...
    • When Ying and Gopal question their teacher about squid spearing, he asks Gopal if his father slept at night or not. When Gopal replies yes, Papa yells at the two in response, claiming that squid also needed to sleep as well.
  • Bora Ra gives Adu Du and Probe a cute but dangerous octopus called 'Kurita'. Their mission is to feed it and not to let it get wet. Next moment, the mentioned duo was dumped into the sea. Talk about crazy.
    • The two seem to drown at first but manage to swim to the surface. When they start pointing out how good the other was at swimming, they realise neither of them actually can swim and start drowning again.
Later when they were brought to the surface they found it weird that they were getting taller. Probe comments that Mr.Boss is usually short, annoying Adu Du.
  • Speaking of crazy, Papa Zola's solution to deal with the flying Kurita was extremely hilarious out of all the scenes in the movie.
Papa Zola: Close your eyes, Gopal!
Gopal: Eh?! (reluctantly does so) Why Mr. Papa?
Papa Zola: (carrying Gopal in his hands) Are you ready, dear young child?!
Gopal: Ready for what, Mr. Papa?
Papa Zola: For this amazing stunt!
  • Gopal opens his eyes at the same moment Papa Zola lobs him at the incoming flying Kurita. Gopal's reaction can be described as 'What the hell are you doing?!'.

BoBoiBoy Galaxy

    Episode 1
  • Cici Ko introduces TAPOPS with a song of its own.
    • Later BoBoiBoy grunts in annoyance when Gopal tries to dance to the lyrics.

    Episode 2
  • Cici Ko said that Gopal and Boboiboy have to undergo one more test before officially becoming members of TAPOPS. The test is... dancing to the TAPOPS song.

    Episode 3
  • BoBoiBoy Lightning performs his signature Lightning Dash move while Gopal is still on and riding the vehicle with him. Because a human's body can conduct electricity, this results in Gopal getting fried to a crisp, complete with his hair standing up at the end of it all.
    • The sequence itself is funny, too. You actually get to see Gopal's skeleton in different positions as he's getting zapped by the Lightning Dash move.

    Episode 4
  • When Gopal meets Cattus, he is displeased when the cat asks for water. He tries to get the cat to go away, only to get badly scratched by it.

    Episode 5
  • BoBoiBoy hits his head on a tree, turning him into BoBoiBoy Leaf. Cue awesome introduction, and the villain's reaction to thinking he was defeated. Bo Boi Boy Leaf's response?
Bo Boiboy Leaf: Huh? What lesson? I thought school was out today? Are you my new teacher?
  • To make it even funnier, he shows his head bruise!

    Episode 6
  • BoBoiBoy's team making fun of Fang's helmet. And Fang subsequently getting mad.
    • Later on, even Papa Zola joins in on the fun, making Fang thrash the spaceship they are on into nearby asteroids as punishment for their constant teasing.

    Episode 9
  • A flashback shows Gopal getting hit by Commander Koko Ci for complaining during an important mission.
  • While discussing their mission, Gopal falls asleep almost immediately, even while his best friend is still talking and saying something important. Later on, Fang falls asleep while BoBoiBoy is explaining something, even though he's supposed to act as The Leader.
BoBoiBoy: (to Fang) Not you too... (sigh) Good night, guys.
  • Gopal tries to turn his friends' attacks into fried frogs while hypnotized by Katakululu, causing the titular frog to give him an unamused stare.
  • Wind and Leaf fighting over the dead snake. Yes, he's scared of snakes, and screams every time he sees a dead snake, to the point he's left screaming in fear when his Creeping Vine was turned into one.

    Episode 10
  • Koko Ci's priceless reaction to Yaya's cookies.
  • The iris wipe shows BoBoiBoy panicking while staring at the screen, after realising their actual test is the next day.

    Episode 11
  • After seeing that his team's attacks don't work on Shielda, Gopal tries insulting her instead. To make it even funnier, Shielda is able to deflect even insults, making this a case of a literal Insult Backfire. Gopal's insult literally and hilariously backfires on him, causing him to dramatically cry and say he's a nobody, while Boboiboy stares at his best pal with confusion and a sweat drop.

    Episode 12
  • Ying slows down Jokertu in an attempt to get him to answer a question, all while the patience of the team is running out. This culminates in Gopal complaining they don't have forever. When gravity finally takes over, Jokertu flops to the ground.

    Episode 15
  • The new Opening.
    • The lyric 'Yes, we are the only one' is shown to be said by Admiral Tarung instead of Papa Zola.
  • The team has to enter a dangerous space prix where cheating is allowed. BoBoiBoy says they have no experience in this and questioned how can they win? The response by Admiral Tarung...
Tarung: Oh, that is simple. It's NOT MY PROBLEM!! Go and WIN that race! Got it?!
  • The sponsor for TAPOPS team can only register two participants. Yaya and Ying have good reason to become support crew. What's Gopal's excuse? He can make more food. Cue Commander's reaction with his sunglasses.
    • Guess who the sponsor is? The Scammer, Bago Go.
  • BoBoiBoy knew there is something fishy about having Bago Go as their sponsor and he was right.
    • The next moment you see BoBoiBoy and Fang were forced to be envoys for Bagogo's new cosmetic product; poor BoBoiBoy and Fang sigh when they have to wear thick makeup. Cue Gopal laughing his ass off asking if that is bedak (makeup powder) or tepung (flour).
Later Bagogo does his promotion for his product. BoBoiBoy and Fang awkwardly wave to the camera when told to and we hear Probe laugh and comment that the two of them are cute.
  • The announcer introduces the participants. When it comes to Adu Du, the announcer has no idea who he is so he addressed him as the unknown racer and he goes ballistic.
Later Fang too when he and BoBoiBoy are claimed to be from Earth despite the fact that Fang is not an Earthling.
  • During the race, the makeup that the duo wore earlier comes off. The announcer was about to say that Bago Go's product is ineffective before the sponsor himself quickly interrupts and makes excuses in the name of promotion. Well, nearly every time when he saw pinches in the race.
  • The Bikembar team went to the race quick stop station for maintenance and their mechanic is a power sphere. Blue says something in gibberish and Gopal wonders if the power sphere can comprehend what Blue said? The answer is no. Cue Face Fault by the support crews.
  • BoBoiBoy and Fang are about to arrive at the same station too but quickly brake and return to the race when Yaya says that she will give them her biscuits.
Lesson learnt: Yaya's Biscuits are horrible.
  • Fang suggests BoBoiBoy to use his lightning power to catch up in the race and the latter agrees. Cue Fang's reaction getting dragged... by his own idea.
  • The fact that Adu Du wins the race due to his own antenna crossing the line first.
    • Later the first prize turns out to be... A full set of Bago Go's new cosmetic products. Bago Go tries to recruit him to be his new envoy and Adu Du goes ballistic again.

    Episode 16
  • Boboiboy getting hit by a volleyball. He was too busy dealing with a voice that he heard that he didn't know a volleyball was heading straight for him. As a result, he gets bowled over, leaving him with a head bruise and dizziness.
  • If you think he had learned his lesson because his day was looped so many times already, you're wrong. He STILL gets hit by that same volleyball from earlier, complete with the same head bruise and dizziness.
    Gopal: Dude, are you okay?
Boboiboy: (still dizzy from the impact) Ow... my head...

    Episode 19
  • Gopal and Fang reacting to a scammer who knows that only BoBoiBoy is a member of TAPOPS among them.

    Episode 22

    Episode 24
  • The ending of this episode is a full-on prank-fest.
    • Gopal and Fang proceed to first prank BoBoiBoy, who has been in a coma for five days. He's unaware and panics when the boys tell him he's been unconscious for fifty years. Gopal's shadow beard made the prank more believable, increasing its chances of success. BoBoiBoy gives his friends an unamused stare afterward.
    • This doesn't stop BoBoiBoy from joining the boys on their shenanigans and pranking Admiral Tarung when he wakes up from his five-day coma. A tie-in reveals that Admiral Tarung got mad at them for the said prank.

    Season 2
  • Issue 1 :
    • In a Black Comedy moment, Papa Zola threatens his students that he will whip them with a rattan stick if they get the wrong answer during a math class and BoBoiBoy is the one who gets the wrong answer due to his lack of concentration. When the bell rings to signal that the class is over, Fang and Gopal express their disappointment because they cannot see BoBoiBoy being whipped. BoBoiBoy is very annoyed after seeing his friends' reaction.
    • When Ying asks Ice about Blaze's whereabouts, Ice casually points to Blaze who prepares a gigantic fireball to finish Adu Du and Probe. After seeing the villains run away from them, Blaze is downright offended since he already prepare his ultimate technique when Ice casually told him to put away his fireball. Looks like Ice already got so used to Blaze's chaotic side that he doesn't freak out to see Blaze's deadly attack.
  • Issue 2 :
    • Qually's debut in front of the Kokotiam Team and the Brolangkas. After making a big entrance by mocking the three Brolangkas brothers for bullying the Kokotiam Team and preparing to fight, Qually immediately runs away from them after seeing the size of the villains. Much BoBoiBoy along with Gopal and Fang confused.
Gopal:(Look at scared Qually) So... It's our turn to rescue him, Right ?
  • Issue 4 :
    • Adu Du and Probe manage to teleport themselves... to space. Yep.
    • The Kokotiam gang's reaction to the number of forms they need to fill, as well as their reaction to Professor Utan going on a holiday for a full year, forcing them to Race Against the Clock just to get the forms submitted.
  • Issue 6 :
    • Everything about the Elemental Forms during the cooking competition against Qually:
      • Knowing that Thorn can be chaotic in his own way and not wanting him to ruin the cooking competition, Quake orders Thorn to create some beverages instead of helping the other Elemental Forms with the cooking. Quake is relieved after seeing Thorn happily accept his "order".
      • Thunderstorm tries hard to be as stoic as possible especially when he faces accusations from Champion lang for stealing their golden chili while keeping himself focused on cutting up the ingredients.
      • Ice almost ruins the Tom Yum by putting the whole of the Salt Stone on the frying pan. When Quake takes the Salt Stone and scolds him, Ice only responds with his stoic Never My Fault expression.
      • Quake's role as the Team Mom of the Elemental Forms during the cooking competition is quite amusing, especially when Quake is scolding Blaze for ruining their dish and hitting his head with his rock gauntlet.
  • Episode 3 of Galaxy season 2 has even funnier moments between Elemental Forms during the cooking contest:
    • When Thunderstorm creates a "Thunder Knife" to cut the ingredients, he begins to cut all of the ingredients very slowly with flat expression. He only hastens his movement when he realizes they already wasted too much time on preparing rather than cooking.
    • Ice almost ruins the Tom Yum by putting the whole Salt Stone on the frying pan like in the comic. Ice doesn't say anything, but his stoic expression clearly says "Yeah, whatever. I already do my best" when Quake stops his action and scolds him.
    • Picture above when Blaze ruins the Tom Yum, the Elemental Forms begin to panic. Ice can only face palm over his action, Quake scolds Blaze like a typical angry mom toward her son, Thunderstorm attempts to put out the fire by blowing it away but only makes the fire get bigger, much to Quake's surprise, and Thorn just runs away due to panicking while doing nothing to help them. Seeing Thunderstorm's action makes the viewer realize why BoBoiBoy not summoning Cyclone among them was a good thing.
  • Thorn and Solar bickering in Issues 8 & 9. To the point that they were basically happy to unite again when they finally meet up with Thunderstorm after they were separated for (what seems to be) several hours.

Others
