Peter Parker aka the Superior Spider-Man is the only surviving member of the Illuminati following the group's destruction at the hands of a time-travelling warlord known as Kang the Conqueror.
Since then, he has travelled across the Multiverse, recruiting Spider-Men, much like him, to help him in his quest to defeat Kang and end his mad crusade. Now, the battle has finally crossed into two worlds, each having their own Spider-Man.
Shido Itsuka, highschool student and protector of the Spirits. And Peter Parker, a young man trapped in another world and became its defender.

- All the Other Reindeer: Shido is not amused that the other Spider-Men has Spider-Sense and that he doesn't have one.
- Badass in Distress: Kang kidnaps one of the Kurumis leading Shido to join the Spider-Men to try and rescue her.
- The Bad Guy Wins: Part 1 ends with Kang obtaining Kurumi's power, killed all of the Spider-Men, sans Shido and destroyed their universes.
- Big Bad Duumvirate: Edge of Time has two villains in the form of Kang the Conqueror and Spider-King, the alternate version of Peter Parker
- Bullying the Dragon: Ryomen Sukuna tries to attack Echidna for messing with his Domain Expansion. This gets Echidna pissed off to put Sukuna back to sleep, allowing Miles to return.
- The Cameo: The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes versions of the New Avengers and Kang appear when Spiderverse Kang and the future Spider-Men entered their universe.
- The Cavalry: Cid returns to his world and recruits Shadow Garden to fight off Kang's forces.
- Crisis Crossover: Otto assembles all the spider people from the entire Spiderverse Saga to combat Kang the Conqueror.
- Crossover Power Acquisition: After learning about Kurumi's powers, Kang kidnaped Kurumi and succeeded in stealing her powers, allowing him to have true mastery over time and space.
- Curbstomp Battle: Spider King slaughters all of the spiders, with Superior Spider-Man, Miles and Shido being the only ones to survive the massacre.
- Deadly Upgrade: Otto is able to extract Shirogane's symbiote and keep it in a container for Shirogane to use in case of emergencies. Shirogane releases it to battle Kang in the Final Battle.
- Earn Your Happy Ending: The Spider-Men were able to defeat Kang once and for all and save The Multiverse.
- Enemy Mine: Peter and the Spider-King briefly teams up to fight Sukuna after he threatens to harm Rem.
- Fast Ball Special: Hobie uses his sound powers to launch Gwen, Ryuko and Satsuki at Kang.
- Fatal Family Photo: Loid carries around a photo his adopted family (Anya and Yor). However at the end of Part 1, it's not only Loid that dies but the rest of the Forger family.
- Heroic Sacrifice: The future Spider-Men held off Kang to allow the other spiders and their allies to escape back into their worlds. Due to their connection with the Witches, the Peters were able to come back but Shido and Miles remained dead.
- Humiliation Conga: Kang the Conqueror, the monster that had ruined other universes and killed variants of Avengers was defeated by a multiversal army of Spider-Men. If losing ultimate power, his army and fortress wasn't bad enough, the other Kangs kick him even further by exiling him to the Quantum Realm where he'll meet another defeat by Ant-Man.
- Kick Them While They Are Down: Kang proceeds to mock the Spiders after he destroyed their worlds, especially Cid who is breaking down from losing his loved ones.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Kang allows Spider-King to follow Shido into Re:Zero Peter's world, seeing it as fulfilling his agreement with Spider-King and getting rid of potential threats. This backfires on him as Echidna would convince Spider-King to switch sides.
- Phantom Zone: The Negative Zone is used by the future Spider-Men to travel through the Multiverse and reached Earth-8096. Due to the nature of the Negative Zone, it also amplifies Miles' powers to an incredible degree.
- "Ray of Hope" Ending: Part 1 ends with the Spider-Men losing their lives to Kang and the Spider-King but Shido survives and is transported to Re:Zero - The Princess and the Spider to get Peter Parker's help.
- Ret-Gone: Kang uses his newly acquired powers to erase all of the spiders' home universes.
- Sequel Hook: After banishing Kang the Conqueror, the Council of Kangs decides to prioritize in finding Re:Zero Peter.
- Shared Universe:
- The Spider-Man Trilogy is in the same universe with the Fantastic Four Duology and the X-Men Film Series.
- At Earth-8096, The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes shares the same continuity with Ultimate Spider-Man.
- Ship Tease: The Amazing Spider-Man has developed a romantic crush for Echidna who seemingly reciprocates them. It's when Echidna whispers something into his ears that he blushes and drinks more of Echidna's tea to stay in contact her.
- Shout-Out:
- Spider-Ham uses his Toon Force to recreate the Gear Second from One Piece.
- Miles describes the Giant Negative Zone Worm as an Alaskan Bull Worm from SpongeBob SquarePants.
- Spared By Adaptation: The Kurumi clone from Date A Live Encore - Kurumi Star Festival survives only to be captured by Kang. Although, she still gets reabsorbed by the real Kurumi following the events.
- Storming the Castle: The Spider-Men mount an assault against Kang's fortress to rescue the Kurumi remnant.
- Time Travel: Part 2 has the remaining Spider-Men travel back to the past before Kang was able to obtain Kurumi's power.
- Villainous Breakdown: Kang was already livid when Kurumi was rescued but it's only when he was overwhelmed by the various Spider-Men that he completely snapped and tried to take everyone out with him.
