A fic by the troper ZeroXSEED, which according to the author themself is Plagiarism with a sprinkling of What If?-fic. Namely, it copies significant amounts of Infinite Stratos' dialogue (at least to start with), with the biggest difference being that it features two twins (Ichika and O.C. Stand-in Madoka) who were supposed to be exactly like Chifuyu. And after the two enter I.S. Academy, they start falling for each other...

This work provides examples of:
- Achievements in Ignorance: Ichika managing to invent methods to deflect beams and cutting shockwaves in the middle of a battle, negating two Anti-IS Image Interface Weapon in the process. He's more focused on that he managed to win the fight than actually inventing the methods.
- Adaptational Badass:
- From the get go, Ichika is portrayed as being stronger, smarter, and more competent than her canon counterpart.
- Madoka SEEMS to be hit by the Nerf bat, which turns out to not the case. Just like Ichika, she is a talented newcomer lacking actual training yet is able to go toe-to-toe with Cecilia, a Cadet Representative.
- Anvilicious: In-Universe, Chifuyu has a knack for this. Played for laughs in chapter 8 when she lets the other girls try to use Kurogane and lets them tumble around miserably just to teach them that there's a reason Madoka is the only one allowed to use it.
- Ascended Extra:
- Char, who after (possibly) getting turned into a guy gets a sideplot focusing on what happened to him after getting kicked out of the main Harem (and eventually getting his own Love Interest).
- Dan, who gets more attention than in the original series.
- Asshole Victim: Ichika's bully from junior high, when he eventually gets his comeuppance.
- Bad Ass Family: Both of the Orimura siblings do very well in battles.
- Berserk Button: Ichika has two: bullying lonely girls, and calling males inferior in front of Ichika. Meanwhile, harming Ichika's safety in any way is Madoka's button, and anyone pushing it is barraged by Precision F Strikes.
- BFS:
- Yukihira is already large enough, but combined with Koyuki, it became Yukihira Sanshiki that's stated to be 8 foot long. And when it switched into beam blade version, it grows to 10 foot... Obviously, the weapon gets used to lampshade Compensating for Something, such as in chapter 7:Rin: "Instead of holding a pair of sword [sic], he's holding a much longer one. [...] even for my standard; it's really, really overcompensating."

- Big Brother Attraction: Madoka makes it clear from the first chapter that she really likes her twin. Not that he notices.
- Birds of a Feather: Houki and Madoka, two outcasts, both saved by Ichika.
- Book Dumb: Subverted with Ichika; while he doesn't understand how I.S. work as a whole and starts of thinking that it might as well be magic, he is well versed in mundane physics and ends up giving an Info Dump that tries analysing I.S. out of a scientific perspective.
- Ichika:"Is that so? Considering I.S.' borderline supernatural abilities, such phenomenon involving similarities of genes between two subjects might be matter if you think of it. I.S. creation itself is based on the advancement of nanotechnology, especially regarding nanomachine, which itself was based on the concept of
biological engine such as various microbes. There might be a reason for I.S. to interact with it's user down to the cellular, or maybe, genetic level"
- Break the Haughty: Cecilia twice; first by Madoka, then by Maya (Rin is also subjected to it the second time).
- Cerebus Syndrome: Mild case; from a Crack Fic focusing on comedic portrayals of Madoka 'stalking' her brother, to a focused plot full of foreshadowing and dramedy chapters.
- Chekhov's Gun: Chapter 8 hints that Ichika will use the Seven Sword in the future.
- Chekhov's Gunman: Both Iori Senbei and someone nicknamed 'Yoshi' have been mentioned in passing, but confirmed by the author to make proper appearances later. There is also a moment where a woman (possibly Natasha Fairs from Canon) appear with a man who is specifically mentioned as not looking like a westerner, along with the still-under-construction Silver Gospel, hinting they will be important later.
- Clarke's Third Law: In chapter 2, Ichika invokes Bellisario's Maxim, reasoning that it will make things easier for him to understand certaing things if he treats them as magic.
- Cliffhanger: Chapter 7 ended with Ichika taking the beam aimed at Rin. Parodied in that the author quickly pointed out that Ichika will be okay.
- Clingy Jealous Girl: Subverted with Madoka, who knew about Ichika's harem but let other girls have a chance to be close with Ichika. While jealous, she believes in I Want My Beloved to Be Happy as well.
- Crack Fic: The author's entire reason to start writing it was that they wanted to see if the premise was Crazy Enough to Work.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Chapter 12; a team of 4 manage to defeat 90 enemies. Justified as the smaller group were much more experienced, and the whole fight was intended to show how experience is more important than numbers.
- Dark and Troubled Past: All the girls in the harem, as well as Ichika. Namely, Madoka was bullied for apparently being anti-social (which explains why she clings to her brother so much), and Ichika was so harsh in dealing with the bullies that He Who Fights Monsters came into play.
- Deconstruction: Of various tropes played straight in the Canon, such as the concept of Oblivious to Love, the later of which precisely because Ichika didn't want a girlfriend yet and prompt him to nerf his own brain, Chifuyu's strict aloofness isn't portrayed as sympathetic either, neither does the Leeroy Jenkins attitude of the heroines.
- Also, the concept of abusing I.S. power to torture Ichika, which can hit bystander if not prevented.
- Also the concept of Legacy Character and Generation Xerox. Both Ichika and Madoka taking much effort to differentiate themselves so that they can stay as "Ichika and Madoka" and not being shadows of their sister Chifuyu.
- Also, the concept of abusing I.S. power to torture Ichika,
- Demoted to Extra: Most of the heroines, who were demoted from Balanced Harem to Supporting Harem. Subverted by Charles and Laura, who got kicked of the harem but got their own subplot, and Char, who ends up getting Hidden Depths...
- Does This Remind You of Anything??: Ichika and a nameless senpai end up talking about their first battle like it's something else. There's also Rin's reaction to Yukihira Sanshiki.
- Dual Wielding: Both Houki and Ichika, though Ichika is a relative beginner at it.
- Dude Looks Like a Lady: Charles, complete with a female bust, and Iori as well, according to the author.
- First-Name Basis: Played straight with Ichika and all the girls. Madoka downplays it by using honorifics for him as a symbol of her devotion to him.
- Foreign Cuss Word: Charles liberally uses Gratuitous French cuss words (invoked by his 'masculine french' tutor who told him to memorize them).
- Gatling Good: Ichika often carries a small caliber Gatling.
- Gender Bender: Charles gets turned into a man during the story.
- Gender Is No Object: Ichika has no hesitation insulting girls when ticked off.
- Generation Xerox: Averted with both Ichika and Madoka, despite the expectation of people that they will be Chifuyu's successors.
- Guys Smash, Girls Shoot: Subverted; Chifuyu is the resident sword-wielding Badass Teacher. Houki and Rin are by no means a slouch, and Laura is self explanatory. On the other hand, Ichika is one crazy melee fighter and his twin sister Madoka is one crazy gunfighter.
- Headbutt of Love: Houki to Ichika in chapter 4 prior to his departure.
- Huge Schoolgirl: Houki and Madoka are stated to be considerably taller than most.
- Hunk: Charles calls Ichika one.
- Idiot Ball: Ichika grabs it in chapter 4 when he recklessly activates Yukihira's special properties without checking, causing his defeat.
- Incest Subtext: While Madoka's crush is official, Ichika's monologue and their interactions overall are more subtle. It is implied to be a case of Selective Obliviousness on Ichika's part.
- Love Epiphany: Madoka realized that there was nobody else she could love besides Ichika after a certain incident back when she was in Boarding School.
- Made of Iron: Laura, see below.
- Mood Whiplash: Chapter 11; Ship Tease between Rin and Charles, followed by Charles' betrayal AND some seizure-inducing images, AND then a comedic romance moment between Charles and Laura.
- Order Versus Chaos: Brought up in Ichika's backstory. In this case, the narrative is clearly biased towards order, as almost everyone agrees that his 'dictatorship' is far, far better than the anarchy caused by lack of enforcement by the adults.
- Punched Across the Room: Ichika hit Laura so hard she BLASTED to the wall. Afterwards he became afraid about having punched her too hard, but since she's a Super-Soldier she turns out fine.
- Real Robot & Super Robot: Apparently the titular Power Armor sports both features. On one hand, they are capable of incredible feats that would ignore newtonian laws in real life, but at the same time they have numerous defined weaknesses. Since they're mass produced, it would be too costly to make them too strong.
- Red Baron: Ichika's full title when he's still in the student council is Emperor of the Silver Throne, while Dan is called Red Right Hand of the Emperor]]
- Sacred First Kiss: Ichika takes Madoka's by accident, causing some awkwardness.
- Scope Snipe: Madoka did this to Cecilia in a mock battle between the two.
- Selective Obliviousness: Lampshaded by Charles, who points out that Ichika has a tendency to ignore the advances of most of the girls interested in him.
- Ship Tease: Apart from the Twincest, there is some between Rin and Charles in chapter 11, as well as an subverted example between Dan and Madoka. (Namely, Dan doesn't take too long to realise Madoka has other interests and leaves her be.)
- Shout-Out:
- In chapter 4, during the Headbutt of Love scene, Ichika wonder if Houki will go three times faster after turning red.
- In Chapter 8, Ichika says "Chi" to prompt Rin to smile. Later Rin quotes Boys over Flowers.
- Iori Senbei is one according to the author. Namely, he's a Captain Ersatz of Aeolia Schenberg (and was supposed to look like him, although the co-writer rejected this concept, leaving him with the Punny Name) with the added trait of being the Resident Crazy Genius' Childhood Friend Romance.
- Ichika's Seven Sword, which can combine into one giant-ass sword.
- Sneeze Cut: At the very end of Chapter 11, Ichika wonder if Cecilia will sneeze when he talk about her with Dan. Cue Cecilia sneezing back in the school.
- Strong Family Resemblance: Ichika claims he and Madoka were quite similar to each other when they're little, but gradually became different... and yet they still share a good amount of resemblances, especially the hair and facial structures. To be fair, he also shares this with Chifuyu, and Madoka is practically 'Mini-Chifuyu' physically speaking.
- Stupid Sexy Flanders: Charles has this effect on Ichika after the former becomes a man.
- Sugar-and-Ice Personality: Madoka deconstructs this at first, due to the circumstances that led to her outer iciness. Reconstruction from chapter 10 forward; as Madoka gains real friends, she became less icy and more sweet.
- Super Prototype and Flawed Prototype: Aside from canon examples, Kurogane is one, being much better than its MP version Uchigane. Justified that Uchigane was deliberately made weak so it can be easily used by amateur, and anyone not skilled enough (or plain talented) is unable to use Kurogane without thrashing around wildly.
- Super-Senses: Ichika has super precise sight and high-speed reflex, heightened further by Byakushiki's high-grade sensor.
- Title Drop: Chapter 5 has Ichika dropped the chapter title, Calm Before Storm.
- Wham Line: The author is fond of ending chapters with these, doubling as The Stinger.
- Would Hit a Girl:
- Ichika has no qualms about fighting or snarking at girls. Justified by him going to a school full of Action Girls that definitely could fight back.
- Charles on the same vein, though he avoid punched them, he has little problem with grapple.
