Perry Benson, (9 April 1961), is a British actor best known for playing Henry Livingstone in You Rang, M'Lord?.
He has had a varied film career since the late '70s, making appearances in films such as Scum, Love, Honour and Obey, Alien Autopsy, This Is England, Somers Town, Mum & Dad, Get Santa, and Accident Man.
After playing a One-Shot Character late in the run of Hi-de-Hi!, David Croft cast Benson in his next series, You Rang, M'Lord?, alongside several other HDH cast members. He played Henry, a snarky bootboy working for the Meldrum family, who would receive Dope Slaps for his sarcastic comments.
After M'Lord? came to an end, Benson (alongside co-stars Paul Shane, Jeffrey Holland, Su Pollard, and Barbara New) went on to star in Oh, Doctor Beeching! as Ralph, a trainee fireman who was hopeless behind the footplate of a steam engine. Ironically, Benson was able to drive the engine flawlessly behind the scenes.
In later years, Benson stuck to smaller roles, barring a two-year turn as Clive Dyke in Benidorm.
