Characters in VS. Impostor.
- Adaptational Abomination: While the most amount of detail Impostors got in their origin was a toothy maw and sharp tongue, the ones in this mod are able to take on much wilder forms.
- Ambiguous Gender: No Crewmate or Impostor has a defined gender besides Red, Green, Orange (all gay men), Maroon (transgender man), Red Mungus (straight man), Jorsawsee, White (both non-binary), Pink (demi-girl), Yellow, Gray (both bisexual men) and Black (genderfluid).
- Color Character: Most of the main opponents faced in the mod are named after the color they use in-game. Averted for most of the freeplay characters.
- Floating Limbs: Just like in their home game, neither Impostors nor Crewmates have any arms, instead having their hands float around.
- One-Winged Angel: Impostors are able to turn into far more dangerous forms should the time come, as demonstrated in "Ejected" by Green, "Boiling Point" by Maroon, and "Turbulence" by Red Mungus, and Black in "Finale".
- Scary Teeth: Impostors tend to show off rows of sharp fangs.
Impostors
Red
The antagonist of the Polus week. He’s not that smart and doesn’t disguise himself all too well. He sings “Sussus Moogus”, “Sabotage” and “Meltdown”.
- Ain't Too Proud to Beg: He begs Boyfriend to leave him alone when he returns as a ghost, protesting that he has a husband and kids at home.
- Attack! Attack! Attack!: He manages to kill both Boyfriend and Girlfriend by shooting them both throughout the week, but his stealth skills leave much to be desired.
- Beware the Silly Ones: Dumb as he is, Red is still an Impostor and quickly kills Girlfriend, then Boyfriend in quick succession.
- Did I Just Say That Out Loud?: A variant. In the cutscene before "Sussus Moogus", Red thinks to himself smugly that Boyfriend and Girlfriend don't know he's the Impostor... in a text chat. Boyfriend is quick to call this out.
- Extreme Omnivore: He quickly eats Girlfriend's megaphone and hand when she tries to call an emergency meeting.
- Foil: To Green, as Red is stupid and more focused on killing quickly while Green is smarter and focuses on building an alibi.
- Functional Addict: He admits point-blank to have shown up at Polus station while high on crack with an air of pride in the cutscene before "Meltdown". Boyfriend notes that This Explains So Much.
- Gun Nut: Wields one and uses it to kill both Boyfriend and Girlfriend.
- Hero Killer: He makes good on his threat to kill Boyfriend and Girlfriend.
- Laughably Evil: Despite killing Boyfriend and Girlfriend, he isn’t very threatening.
- Obviously Evil: He doesn’t seem to realize that carrying a knife and gun around everywhere doesn’t help you blend in. Even the rather stupid Boyfriend and Girlfriend quickly suss him out.
- Red Is Violent: It's a given that Red fits this trope, considering that he's an Impostor, but he doesn't even try to hide the fact that he's a killer.
- Sir Swears-a-Lot: Not as much as Boyfriend, Blue or Green, but still.
- Super-Reflexes: The reaction mentioned under Extreme Omnivore plays out over the course of two animation frames. Though based on Boyfriend tossing the mic, Red doesn't have the Super-Speed to support it.
- Villainous Breakdown: Becomes visibly stressed during the final song Meltdown, due to Boyfriend's ghost still being able to talk, unlike regular crewmates, as well as being terrified of ghosts.
- Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: Judging by his immediate change in attitude once Boyfriend returns as a ghost, he’s not a fan of ghosts.
Red Mungus
- Big Bad: Of Week J, being responsible for the murder of Jorsawsee.
- Graceful Loser: Upon being ejected, he sings one last song with a rather happy expression on his face before the others reel Boyfriend back to them.
- One-Winged Angel: A Mix And Match Critter of a bat, goat and cephalopod. Like Green, he takes this form upon being ejected.
- Creator Cameo: Of amongusfan24 (aka. Cooper), who sadly died of cancer in January 2023.
- Outside-Context Problem: He doesn't appear to be connected to Black's crew.
- Precision F-Strike: Lets out a "FUUUUUUCK!" at the end of "Voting Time" after realizing that he's been voted out.
- Taking You with Me: He grabs Boyfriend just as Warchief throws him off the Airship.
- Villain of Another Story: He's an Impostor not affiliated with Black's crew who serves as the main threat of Week J.
- Villainous Breakdown: Experiences this at the end of Voting Time where the stress of the situation causes him to scream the f-word, accidentally exposing himself.
Green
Mira HQ’s antagonist. Much smarter than his impostor partner Red, but has a very short temper. Sings “Sussus Toogus”, “Lights Down”, “Reactor” and “Ejected”.
- Berserk Button: Do NOT call him the impostor.
- Foil: To Red, as Red is stupid and more focused on killing quick while Green is smarter and focuses on building an alibi.
- Free-Fall Fight: During Ejected.
- Funny Background Event: Appears with the rest of the crew in the Polus week during Meltdown, about to knife another crewmate and looking confused at Red’s actions.
- Paper-Thin Disguise: Unlike Red, who is immediately caught red-handed and relies on brute force, he puts more effort into disguising himself as a crewmate (even though it's still very paper-thin, as evidenced by his obviously cardboard ID and his, er, "unique" task list, of which all the tasks seem to be related to watching porn).
- Genre Savvy: He knows that Boyfriend is too obsessed with rapping to tell anybody that they're the Impostor, so he locks him into a song in "Lights Down" before heading for the reactor.
- Hero Killer: Implied, but considering that he blew up the reactor just before Ejected, it's safe to assume that most of the crewmates that appeared in that song are dead.
- One-Winged Angel: The final song of the Mira HQ week, Ejected, has him take on a much more monstrous form, with tentacles, horns, and a giant, bloody maw.
- Only Sane Man: Well, compared to Red, at least.
- Sir Swears-a-Lot: If his rant before Sussus Toogus is anything to go by.
- Surrounded by Idiots: Certainly feels this way, especially when they encounter Boyfriend.
- Taking You with Me: Pulls this on the crew (and attempted on Boyfriend and Girlfriend) after Reactor.
- Tentacled Terror: His true form has giant tentacles attached to his back.
White
The Impostor of Week 3, who seems to be working directly under Black. They sing "Oversight" and sing alongside Black for "Double Kill".
- Badass Arm-Fold: Pulls off this look during "Double Kill", despite not actually having arms.
- The Dragon: To Black, as they work together in eliminating everybody else on the Airship. However, they quickly are relegated to cameos once Gray shows up.
- Gold and White Are Divine: They're white and have a golden halo. They're still an Impostor, though.
- Light Is Not Good: A pure white Impostor dressed like an angel. You do the math.
Xaphan
A pure black impostor with a cone on their head and is the closest thing the mod has to a Big Bad. They sing "Defeat", "Danger" and "Finale", and sing alongside White in "Double Kill".
- Ascended Extra: Black, back in their debut in Version 3, was merely the antagonist of a one-off song that served no plot relevance. However, following the release of Version 4, they would become the main antagonist of the mod.
- Battle Trophy: They carry the corpse of a crewmate inside themself, and displays it as part of her down sprite. In their Parasite form, they do this with nearly an entire match's worth of characters, Crewmate and Impostor alike.
- Big Bad: The most recurring Impostor of the mod, and the one taken the most seriously.
- The Cameo: Appears in the background of Christmas and Spookpostor.
- Dark Is Evil: Goes without saying, considering that they’re the Big Bad of the mod.
- Digital Abomination: Word of God has stated that Black isn’t a human player, but rather a digital entity that has ended up in the game .
- Evil Is Bigger: They are bigger than any other Impostor, and they’re by far the most dangerous. Their parasite form in "Finale" keeps them shape the same, unlike Green, Maroon and Red Mungus, but they instead become massive.
- Badass Arm-Fold: Pulls off this look during Week 6, despite not having arms.
- Evil Mentor: After Gray’s dad was ejected, they served as their father figure, which turned Gray into the Ax-Crazy killer they are today.
- Final Boss: After Boyfriend challenges and defeats everybody else in the mod, Black decides to have a rematch with him, leading to "Finale."
- Glamour Failure: Black is wearing the Orange-colored Traffic Jam, which while mundane by itself, was unattainable in Among Us when they were added to the mod. It's a quiet but big signifier that whatever they are, they aren’t playing by the rules of a typical match.
- Greater-Scope Villain: They took Gray in after their parent was ejected, making them this for Week 6. They also appear in the foreground as Gray fights Boyfriend, and their arrival in Week 7 prompts Grey to assist them in killing everybody.
- Groin Attack: Rarely, if Boyfriend misses a note Black will slice his balls off before planting their knife through his skull.
- Hero Killer: Killed the entire crew off-screen. They also show off the dismembered corpse of Gray’s dad in their up pose. If one takes the background for "Defeat" into consideration, it seems like Boyfriend has met his fate to Black at least once before.
- Knight of Cerebus: Black is the most dead serious of the bunch, with no comedic elements to them that the other Impostors have. V4 makes them a slight bit wackier by how they arrive in Week 3, but that's offset by the introduction of their adoptive son, Gray, which further displays how evil and sinister they are.
- Manipulative Bastard: In the intro animation of Week 6, they are the one to vote out the original Gray, allowing them to groom their Mini-Crewmate child into a killing machine.
- Monster Progenitor: Within the context of the mod as "Boyfriend and Girlfriend visit different locations in the Among Us universe," Black is stated to be the first and oldest of the Impostors.
- Non-Standard Character Design: Black is the only character in this mod to have a rectangular visor rather than the standard oval that everyone else has. However, this primarily applies with their V4 design, where as in V3 they looked much like any other Crewmate or Impostor (outside of the obvious size difference and red glint of course).
- Not So Above It All: They have a furious hatred of anime stemming from being scared of Goku as a child.
- One-Hit Kill: Missing just a single note during Defeat will cause Boyfriend to get a knife through the skull. As of V4, the player can set how many combo breaks Black will accept before killing them, and they can still choose Black to kill them as soon as they break a single combo. This mechanic is absent in "Finale."
- One-Winged Angel: In "Finale" they take on a much larger form with purple veins rolling across their body, gigantic teeth and horns, and a redecorated black knife with an eye and teeth on it.
- Given Name Reveal: Word of God reveals their real name is actually Xaphan.
- Purple Is the New Black: Their sprites in V4 are actually purple, despite the name.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: Crossing over with Glowing Eyes of Doom, Black has a bright, red glint on their visor. Word of God says that their design is based on the Sabotage button in Among Us (black Impostor with a rectangular visor and a red glint) .
- Shapeshifter Weapon: They make the most liberal use of the Impostors' shapeshifting to create different arrays of spikes from their body. Their form in "Finale" shows that even their knife is actually a part of them as it takes on a similarly gnarly form.
- Virtual Ghost: Within the context of the mod as Boyfriend and Girlfriend playing Among Us, Black is not played by a typical person. Instead, they’re something that managed to cling onto the game and act through it, sating its bloodlust by being the most successful Impostor of the game.
- You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: If Gray killing Red is to be taken as being under Black's orders, it's likely their immediate disclosure and ejection wouldn't be appreciated a second time. They also killed Red and Green by the time of "Finale."
Ash Amonglita Maroon
The antagonist of Week 5, Maroon is a rude and arrogant Impostor. He sings "Ashes", "Magmatic", the removed song “Stealth”, and "Boiling Point".
- Astonishingly Appropriate Appearance: His true form is covered in lava-like glowing cracks, fitting for an impostor fought on Polus, where impostors get executed via getting dropped into a lava-filled hole.
- Break the Haughty: In the cutscene before "Boiling Point", Maroon drops his smug demeanor from earlier and starts to panic at the thought of getting voted out, which is what happens to him.
- Divergent Character Evolution: He was originally a full-on Expy of Hank J. Wimbleton, but has since developed into a much smugger and ruder character.
- Jerkass: A recurring trait shared by most of the Impostors, but Maroon stands out for calling Boyfriend a bitch to his face as his greeting and not attempting to be friendly even once.
- Meaningful Name: His first name is Ash, fitting for someone fought inside Polus.
- One-Winged Angel: Similar to Green, Maroon reveals his true form in "Boiling Point". In Maroon's case, he gains giant spider legs sticking out his back, and he gains cracks on his head and in his visor which all glow like boiling lava.
- Overly Long Name: His full name prior to transitioning was Amonglita Ashley Isabelle Purple Alejandra Leaner.
Argent S. Gray
The antagonist of Week 6, Gray is a psychopathic crewmate who is directly working with Black. He used to be the child of a Gray Crewmate before he got falsely accused of being an impostor and was thus Thrown Out the Airlock, with Black taking him in as their child. He sings "Delusion", "Blackout", "Neurotic" and the removed song “Insane” and is the antagonist for Week 7's "Pretender".- Ax-Crazy: Where Black does a well enough job pretending to be a Crewmate, Gray swings on the far opposite of the spectrum, being a violent killer who's flayed many Crewmates and even a few Impostors violently before Week 6.
- Badass Normal: Assuming he lacks such abilities as venting or sabotage due to technically being a Crewmate, he certainly counts as this considering he can keep up with Black's kill count.
- Co-Dragons: With White, although White disappears after Week 3, leaving Gray as the more central Dragon.
- Deconstruction: He deconstructs the Mini-Crewmate pet, specifically what happens after their master is killed; an Impostor was able to make him into a violent surrogate Impostor when they were most vulnerable.
- The Dragon: He blends in enough, but once Black gives the word, nobody is safe.
- Deconstructed Character Archetype: While an expy of Purple from the comedic Everybody Loves Purple, his similar role as an evil Crewmate that even the Impostors despise is most certainly not played for laughs; the Crewmates either die or flee the instant he shows up, and Pink clearly struggles to stand up to Grey on her own.
- Digital Abomination: The closest thing that Gray can be called, due to Gray not being an actual player, but rather a Mini-Crewmate grown up.
- Expy: Of Purple from the animation series Everybody Loves Purple, being an evil Crewmate that blends in by not actually being an Impostor and which at least one of the real Impostors actually abhors. This is cemented in the official soundtrack's cover art for Week 6, as Gray is drawn to resemble Purple as he appears in his cameo in Week 5.
- Foil: To Pink. Gray is a Crewmate and Pink is an Impostor, but they're both better fits for the other team, with Gray being a murderous lunatic and Pink hating violence and instead wanting friendship. Gray never speaks, but Pink is quite the chatterbox. They end up confronting each other in "Pretender".
- Knight of Cerebus: Alongside his surrogate father, Gray changes the mood of the mod from comedic to dark and serious, due in part to his backstory as a orphaned Crewmate raised by an Impostor, along with his portrayal as an Ax-Crazy killer who commits more gruesome murders in comparison to the other Impostors.
- Start of Darkness: After his dad was ejected, Black took him in. Not hard to assume the lynching of his parent helped him become what he is now alongside Black.
- Team Killer: If the corpse of Red is anything to go by, his bloodlust doesn't end at the innocent.
- The Quiet One: The only Impostor in the story to have absolutely no dialogue, with his sole text box being completely blank.
- Token Heroic Orc: Inverted. Crewmates are good, Impostors are bad. This Crewmate, though? The only thing stopping him from slaughtering everybody else is the beck and call of Black.
- Token Human: Well, if you can consider Crewmates human, but he's the only one to be not an Impostor on Black's team.
- Used to Be a Sweet Kid: The intro of Week 6 showed him as a normal Mini-Crewmate working alongside his father. After his father got falsely accused and Black took them in, he became an Ax-Crazy killer.
- Daddy's Little Villain: He was kidnapped by Black while he was still young, allowing the latter to train him to be a serial killing machine.
Penelope
A totally normal Crewmate who loves friendship and the antagonist of Week 7. She sings "Heartbeat" and "Pinkwave" before getting Promoted to Playable in "Pretender".
- Actual Pacifist: Is thoroughly against killing, even with her role as an Impostor. Even when confronted with Gray, she doesn't try to fight back, but instead tries to sing for a little longer.
- Cheery Pink: One of the most optimistic and kindhearted characters in the mod, and she's pink.
- Dating Catwoman: She, an imposter, is married to Yellow, a crewmate. That said, she's a good person.
- Females Are More Innocent: The only explicitly female impostor, and she's a Token Heroic Orc.
- Foil: To Gray.
- Given Name Reveal: Word of God reveals her real name is actually Penelope.
- Heart Symbol: She's wearing the "I heart u" hat, and is one of the only kind opponents in the mod.
- Pink Means Feminine: She's the only character confirmed female (besides Girlfriend and Ellie), and she's... pink.
- Promoted to Playable: Due to Boyfriend being killed by Gray after "Pinkwave", Pink is the player character in "Pretender".
- Token Heroic Orc: Impostors are bad, Crewmates are good. This Impostor is friendly, though, and wants no part in Black's plan to kill everybody.
Monotone
An Impostor who is constantly changing face. He sings "Identity Crisis".
- Ambiguously Related: To Black. Both of them are black, both are the only impostors to have any sort of eyes, and Black only offers his rematch after Monotone goes down.
- Climax Boss: He sings the song that unlocks the True Final Boss, "Finale".
- Creator Cameo: Of MonotoneDoc.
- Empathic Environment: The arena changes depending on who's form he's taking:
- As both himself and Boyfriend, the arena looks normal.
- As Red, the lights on the generator in the background glow red as well.
- As Green, the arena is completely destroyed, leading to a Free-Fall Fight just like "Ejected".
- As Black, the arena becomes pitch black with a red light shining from above, just like in "Defeat".
- Evil Wears Black: Wears a black suit, a black mask, is using black as his color, and makes it very clear that he's out for Boyfriend's life.
- Giant Space Flea Out Of Nowhere: His song, whilst necessary to be cleared for unlocking "Finale", doesn't position itself anywhere around the Story Mode's weeks to imply that they're important to the story in any manner, not to mention there's little to no cutscenes for the song itself, establishing very little as to why Boyfriend ends up confronting them.
- Non-Standard Character Design: The only character to have 5 fingers on each hand instead of 4.
- Plague Doctor: He has the mask, but he presumably isn't an actual doctor.
- Shapeshifter Default Form: A black crewmate wearing a top hat, a black suit, and a Plague Doctor mask with Glowing Eyes of Doom.
- The Spook: It's hard to tell exactly what he is.
- Supernatural Gold Eyes: Also coincides with Glowing Eyes of Doom, but Monotone is one of two Impostors to have any sort of color to their eyes, and just so happens to be a shapeshifter who shows up out of nowhere.
- Voluntary Shapeshifter: Swaps between Red, Green's One-Winged Angel form, and Black as the song progresses, and starts the song imitating Boyfriend.
Shapeshifter
An Impostor taking the form of Black in a red corpse. They sing the removed song “Compromised Persona”.
- Empathic Environment: The arena changes depending on who's form they're taking:
- As themself, the arena looks normal.
- As Red, the lights on the generator in the background glow red as well.
- As Black, the arena becomes pitch black with a red light shining from above, just like in "Defeat".
- Evil Wears Black: They are an amalgamation of Black who wears a red corpse and grows parasite arms.
- The Spook: It's hard to tell exactly what they are.
- Voluntary Shapeshifter: Swaps between Red and Black as the song progresses.
Crewmates
Jorsawsee
A ballin' Crewmate with some real drip, and the unfortunate victim of Week J, singing the removed song “Lowtowncorry” and the first half of "02" before being killed by Red Mungus.- Advertised Extra: The face of Week J (Fitting, as the week itself is named after them), but they get killed off within the first song, and the rest of the week focuses on their murderer, Red Mungus. They do return for the final song "Victory" as a ghost though.
- Blue Is Heroic: If playing Week J before Week 3, they're the first genuine Crewmate you'll meet, and they're blue.
Warchief
One of the two Crewmates investigating Jorsawsee's death, singing "Voting Time" and "Victory" with Jelqer.
- Always Someone Better: His detective skills apparently aren't enough to stop Black, as Black always wins when they play together.
- Donut Mess with a Cop: During "Voting Time", a donut can be seen on Warchief's part of the desk.
- Good Is Not Nice: He has a pretty grumpy expression, but he's a Crewmate nonetheless trying to avenge Jorsawsee.
- Gleeful and Grumpy Pairing: The grumpy to Jelqer's gleeful.
- Megaton Punch: Punches Red Mungus with enough force to shove him off the airship in the cutscene before "Turbulence".
- Precision F-Strike: Mutters a "Fuck" when Red Mungus manages to drag Boyfriend with him to their deaths.
- Pet the Dog: When Red Mungus manages to drag Boyfriend with him to their deaths, Warchief uses a claw to save him, even though their victory is already assured by this point and Boyfriend doesn't need to survive.
- Those Two Guys: With Jelqer.
Jelqer
The other Crewmate investigating Jorsawsee's murder, singing "Voting Time" and "Victory" with Warchief.- Gleeful and Grumpy Pairing: The gleeful to Warchief's grumpy.
- Those Two Guys: With Warchief.
Yellow
A very eager fellow and the first friendly Crewmate to be encountered by Boyfriend and Girlfriend. He sings "Mando" and "D'low".
- Advertised Extra: He’s the face of Week 3, but he’s killed after the second song out of five, with White and Black taking center stage from there.
- Big Damn Heroes: In the unofficial "Double Kill" remaster, as a ghost, he uses a guardian shield to save Boyfriend from death and buy him a chance to call the emergency meeting needed to stop Black and White dead in their tracks.
- Dating Catwoman: He, a crewmate, is married to Pink, an imposter. That said, Pink is good.
- Foil: To Blue. Both Yellow and Blue are crewmates, but they are still quite different. Yellow is thoroughly against killing. Blue isn’t. Blue isn’t very talkative, but Yellow is the most talkative crewmate. While Yellow focuses on completing his tasks, Blue is more focused on eliminating imposters using weapons he finds lying around.
- Medium Awareness: He's the only character (besides Red) to acknowledge that he’s playing a video game.
- Given Name Reveal: Inverted. Originally, Word of God revealed his real name was actually Yarlowmando. However, this was quickly tossed as a joke, with that name instead going to one of his 3 sons.
- Red Herring: One might assume from him claiming to have the same task as Boyfriend that he’s the Impostor, trying to claim a task to save face, but he’s quickly killed by White, the real Impostor.
- Too Good for This Sinful Earth: The most upbeat and happy crewmate in the mod… who gets killed by White at the end of his second song.
Bennet
The common name given to a black Crewmate with detective gear who’s the smartest of the bunch and whose job is to track down and expose any impostors he finds. He isn’t an opponent, but he does appear in Week 1’s ending cutscene,
- Great Detective: He's the smartest Crewmate on a separate match, and he’s wearing…detective clothing, as evidenced by his suit and fedora.
- Good Is Not Nice: He can be quite hotheaded, but he’s the smartest Crewmate around.
- Dark Is Not Evil: When you're trying to expose impostors, he's just your guy to trust, even despite his color.
- Megaton Punch: In Week 1 in the ending cutscene, where he punches Blue with enough force to knock him across the skeld.
- Hardboiled Detective: Even with his status, he can be quite rough when dealing with people who blindly accept the criminal’s objection, as evidenced by him punching Blue offscreen.
- Given Name Reveal: Word of God reveals his real name is actually Bennet.
Blue
A rather hotheaded and dead serious (but somewhat naive) crewmate that appears to have found a shotgun, and an unfortunate victim of the mod. While he isn’t exactly a character you fight against, he does appear in Week 1 in the ending cutscene, in Week 7 as a foreground character, and in a scrapped cutscene by DozenRahyz and is seen shooting Black in the visor before telling Boyfriend and Girlfriend to run.
- Cluster F-Bomb: Does this during the Week 1 ending cutscene while everyone is arguing:Blue: nobody fucking likes you Orange fuck off holy fucking shit
- Foil: To Yellow.
- Gun Nut: He somehow finds one, wields it and uses it to shoot Black, but to no avail.
- Idiot Hero: In Week 1, Blue can be seen as a hotheaded dumbass who blindly believes Red’s "Claim" that the latter was AFK when Boyfriend and Girlfriend were killed.Detective: It’s Red
Red: hey dude! it’s not me, chill! i was AFK!
Blue: Seems pretty believabl-(gets punched) - Not So Above It All: While he initially appears to be a badass vigilante in the scrapped cutscene, his actual appearance in the mod suggests a much less serious character, joining in on the rapid onslaught of "where"s and believing Red's claim he didn't kill Boyfriend and Girlfriend.
- The Cameo: Can be seen in the ending cutscene of week 1 and the foreground of week 7, albeit without his gun.
Mansur
Gray's biological father whose son was kidnapped by Black while he was still young, first being Thrown Out the Airlock and from then on, becomes Black's sole target throughout the entire mod, being repeatedly killed by them. He appears in Week 6's opening cutscene and was an unused character in Triple Kill.
- Distressed Dude: In the opening cutscene of Week 6, we see him tear up as he gets ejected, losing his son.
- Too Good for This Sinful Earth: According to the devs, he is repeatedly killed by Black throughout the entire mod.
- Given Name Reveal: Originally, Word of God revealed that his name was actually Noob49. However, the latter was later tossed, as one of the devs, Mayhew, later confirmed his real name was Mansur, with the former name being both a joke and alias.
- Digital Abomination: Probably the closest thing he can be called, as Word of God has it that he was infected with the same parasite that infected Black, but he managed to take control of it.
- I Have a Family: An official piece of artwork by the devs reveals he actually has a wife, a pink Crewmate named Ayaulim. And obviously, he has a son, that being Gray, who was kidnapped by Black and trained to be a serial killing machine.
- Break the Haughty: While normally a smug Rich Bastard, his defeat icon has him crying in a particularly ugly way, while his Cool Crown becomes a dotted outline.
- Early-Bird Cameo: Shows up to play the saxophone during an instrumental break of "Sussus Toogus".
- Flipping the Bird: Does this in every single one of his poses, emphasized by the diamond ring on his middle finger.
- Jerkass: His sheer fuckery, according to Clowfoe, was enough to give him a mouth like an Impostor despite being a Crewmate.
- Non-Standard Character Design: Despite being a legitimate Crewmate, he has the toothy mouth of an Impostor.
- Rich Bastard: He's wearing a crown, a diamond ring and wielding a golden mic, and is a massive asshole.
Going2killevery1startingwithU
Another unrelated white crewmate who wants to find out who killed noob69, but gets frustrated regarding the name of his assailant, along with everyone else.
- Implied Death Threat: Sent out when G2KE1SWU is gradually reaching his boiling point.Going2killevery1startingwithU: That's what I want to know! Who killed noob69?
Y Fronts: NOW you're getting it!
Going2killevery1startingwithU: You're gonna get it in a second!
Y Fronts: Woah, don't be like that! I'm just trying to help.
Going2killevery1startingwithU: I'm sorry. (while patting noob69's crewmate child in the animation) I guess I'm just getting paranoid. Everybody is sus. - Poor Communication Kills: He completely and utterly fails to understand anything Y Fronts says thanks to everybody having a Punny Name. Ultimately, the crew votes Going2killevery1startingwithU out even when Y Fronts suspects Who killed noob69.
- Rage Breaking Point: After getting to his wits' end involving his conversation with Y Fronts, he screams out his name… which draws as much suspicion to him as possible. After Y Fronts calls for an emergency meeting, Going2killevery1startingwithU ends up getting voted out.Going2killevery1startingwithU: I'm Going2killevery1startingwithU!
- Sarcasm Mode: He lets this off when he feels Y Fronts isn't helping him determine the locations of the other crewmates at the time of noob69's death.Going2killevery1startingwithU: Well, that really clears things up.
Y Fronts: Thank y-. (gets slapped)
Going2killevery1startingwithU: I was being sarcastic! You're useless!
Y Fronts: How so? I told you where everyone was!
Going2killevery1startingwithU: No you didn't! Who was in the cafeteria? - Sir Swears-a-Lot: He has quite the mouth, mainly saying the F-word.
- Too Dumb to Live: In hindsight, naming himself something that can easily be seen as a threat likely wasn't the smartest move.
- Who's on First?: The main gag of the song he stars in: the impostor who killed noob69 was named Who, but Y Fronts' confusing wording on top of everyone else having a similar name leads to a lot of confusion, eventual frustration and Going2killevery1startingwithU's eventual downfall.
Y Fronts
A blue crewmate who's trying to assist Going2killevery1startingwithU in his investigation on the death of noob69, but his style of wording isn't exactly helping the situation.
- Punny Name: Implied, given that he asks Going2killevery1startingwithU if he gets it after stating his name.
- In the original animation, Y Fronts shows Going2killevery1startingwithU a pair of underwear, implying that he named himself after that, but due to not having any sprites to indicate this in the mod, his name is an Orphaned Punchline.
- Who's on First?: The main gag of the song he stars in: the impostor who killed noob69 was named Who, but Y Fronts' confusing wording on top of everyone else having a similar name leads to a lot of confusion, eventual frustration and Going2killevery1startingwithU's eventual downfall.
Drippostor
A crewmate with real drip. They're the opponent of "Drippypop".
- Mythology Gag: Based off of the crewmates featured in the "Among Drip" memes.
- Non-Standard Character Design: Is more detailed in design compared to the average Among Us character, and that's without acknowledging it's footwear.
Others
Tomongus
A rather suspicious-looking custom character in the Rivals of Aether workshop. They're actually a hamster controlling a mech known as Mech #721. They sing “Sussy Bussy”, “Rivals”, “Chewmate” and “Tomongus Tuesday”.
- Art Shift: The entire stage is changed to match Week 6's art style from the base game. However in Tomongus Tuesday, this art style is reverted back to Weeks 1-5 and 7 also from the base game.
- Robotic Reveal: After Boyfriend shoots the mech’s head off, Tomongus appears.
- Trans Plant: From Rivals of Aether.
Chefogus
A crewmate who's a chef-by-trade. He sings "Sauces Moogus".
- Ambiguously Evil: He looks like a normal crewmate on the surface, but his up pose has him hold a blood-stained knife.
- Given Name Reveal: Word of God reveals his real name is actually Chefogus.
- There's No Kill like Overkill: The official soundtrack artwork for "Sauces Moogus" shows him using a chainsaw to cut up vegetables.
Red and Cyan
An Impostor constantly attacking a Crewmate through a variety of colorful means. They sing "Ow."- Hyperspace Mallet: Red smashes Cyan with a mallet during their left pose.
- Eye Beams: Red launches a beam directly through Cyan during their right pose.
- Iron Butt Monkey: Cyan doesn't die to any of the death animations, throughout the entire song.
- Mythology Gag: Their song is based off of the "Among Us Kills" compilations that were made popular back during the game's prime.
- There's No Kill like Overkill: The kill animations are supposed to play one per kill. Red is attacking throughout the entire song.
Jerma
The insane streamer himself, particularly infamous in the Among Us community for the "When the imposter is sus! 😳" meme. Sings "Insane Streamer."
- Ambiguously Human: His face is a bit too large, his eyes contort in a variety of ways and his tongue is blue.
- Ax-Crazy: Anybody who knows Jerma's base personality also knows that he's a maniacal serial killer.
- Face Framed in Shadow: The top half of his face is covered in shadow, leaving only one or two of his eyes visible, alongside his gaping mouth.
- Slasher Smile: Perpetually shows off his big, toothy grin, and considering the song's name, is absolutely manic.
Nuzzus
An Impostor rendered in a pixel artstyle. Sings "Sussus Nuzzus".- Ornamental Weapon: Wields a gun, and even points it at the screen during most of their poses, but never uses it.
- Retraux: Rendered in an artstyle reminiscent of EarthBound, with the trippy background taken directly from that game.
Idk
An odd-looking crewmate hailing from an old sketch made by Toby Fox (Yes, THAT Toby Fox). It sings "Idk" with "The Kid", a crudely drawn version of Boyfriend.
- Stylistic Suck: Drawn in a much cruder artstyle than the rest of the mod.
- Temporary Bulk Change: Gets extremely buff when hitting its up pose.
Brown
A brown Crewmate that was killed in Electrical. His ghost sings the song "Esculent".
- Facial Horror: In his up pose, Brown's facial area rips open to reveal a mouth surrounded by muscle flesh.
- Undead Abomination: Brown is a deceased Crewmate whose ghost sports shadowed eyes behind his visor and on occasion a mouth, which is irregular for ghosts in Among Us.
Dave
A Crewmate that came to the developers in a dream... and a very strange one at that. Sings "Crewicide."
- Aerith and Bob: Almost everybody else is named after their color, and those who aren't don't have a name as standard as Dave.
- Alternate Reality Game: In-Universe... sort of. The dream he came from featured an ARG to figure out what his room looked like.
- Flipping the Bird: Does this before committing suicide.
- Driven to Suicide: If the name of his song didn't tick you off to that. He jumps out the window at the end of the song.
- The Hero: He was referred to as the main character of Among Us in the dream of his origin.
Top 10 Awesome Impostor
A static image of a red Impostor made by Top 10 Awesome, an FNF composer who's infamous for making terrible Stylistic Suck songs ON PURPOSE. Sings "Top 10".- Joke Character / Stylistic Suck: It's literally just a static image of an Impostor, and all of its poses are single-frame cropped images, which is Top 10 Awesome's forte.
Yep, it's him. The main protagonist of the other series created by Innersloth, this guy is the opponent for "Titular" and "Reinforcements", and is Promoted to Playable in "Greatest Plan".
- Cutting Off the Branches: Due to the fact that Henry, Ellie and Charles are a Power Trio, this Henry comes from the "Triple Threat" ending. Subverted with the introduction of Reginald and Right Hand Man, who seem to come from a different route.
- Uncertain Doom: He isn't seen after Right Hand Man crashes into him in the cutscene before "Armed".
- Black Comedy: His defeat icon is a tombstone, referencing his Heroic Sacrifice in the "Valiant Hero" ending.
- The Unfought: Boyfriend doesn't rap battle or even meet with him face to face, as Henry does so instead.
- Dual Boss: She's only fought alongside Henry.
- The Smurfette Principle: The only female opponent in the Battling The Boyfriend week, and one of the only female characters in her home game.
- Uncertain Doom: She isn't seen after Right Hand Man crashes into her in the cutscene before "Armed".
- Cyborg: After a battle with Henry, Right Hand Man has gotten his legs, right arm, and part of his face replaced with cybernetics, which his home game refers to as Right Hand Man Reborn.
- Dragon-in-Chief: Despite being Reginald's… right hand man, "Armed" shows Right Hand Man as the far more deadly threat, with him instigating the encounter and him being the only one of the two with an icon.
- Dual Boss: They are only fought together.
- Gold Makes Everything Shiny: Reginald has a golden chain with a large S on it, alongside a golden mic.
- Merging the Branches: Reginald is alive as well as wearing the leader hat and Right Hand Man is a cyborg — the former implying the events of the "Thief" route, while the latter comes from the "Bounty" or "Executive" route. Even further when you consider the events that lead to the "Triple Threat" ending, the "Government" and Allies" route, which results in Henry, Ellie and Charles forming a Power Trio but leading to arrest of Reginald and RHM (the former also not becoming a cyborg).
Unused
- Joke Character: They're literally a Beige impostor cosplaying Rick.
- Joke Character: All its sprites are PNGs rather than actual sprites.
- Stylistic Suck: It's literally Red's V4 sprites, but with a high static effect.
- Stylistic Suck: His vocals are literally Tricky's vocals from The Full-Ass Tricky Mod, but at a higher pitch.
Scrapped
Deadpostor
A white Impostor that was killed likely by Grey. Their corpse sings the removed song "MonoSus", which was left in the files upon release.
- Facial Horror: In all of their poses, Deadpostor’s facial area rips open to reveal a mouth surrounded by muscle flesh, (in the up pose) a bloodied hand extending towards the screen, (in the down pose) organs ripping out of their head, and (in the right pose) a bunch of eyeballs and some internal organs ripping out of their sides and facial area.
- Undead Abomination: Deadpostor is a deceased Impostor whose corpse sports several eyes, internal organs and on occasion a mouth.
- Nothing Is Scarier: As if their eerie poses weren’t enough, Deadpostor’s unused (and extremely creepy) Jumpscare is enough to leave you with nightmares.
- Jump Scare: Does this multiple times throughout their song.
Bananungus
A custom character that…well…is a crewmate that looks like a banana. They sing the removed song “Posussium”.- Joke Character: They’re literally just a banana with a visor and legs that wobbles and topples over on their side in all of their poses.
- Power Trio: With Tomatongusnote and Watermungusnote .
- Joke Character: He’s literally an impostor cosplaying Master Chief.
- Non-Standard Character Design: John-117 has a small helmet, smaller than one an ordinary impostor would have to wear to fit into on like that.
A former dev of the mod who was fired from the team for being a pedophile. According to Orbyy (one of the devs) in a Discord interview, during the concept stage of Monotone Attack, they were supposed to take the spot where Biddle3 is currently.
- No Real Life Examples, Please!: We'd rather not place any tropes here for the sake of no Real Life Troping.
- Dual Boss: In "Skinny Nuts", in which he sings alongside Clowfoe.
- Mysterious Waif: We do know he was going to be a playable character in Skinny Nuts. However, a concept was never revealed. In the credits of the mod, his icon appears to be a salamander reminiscent of a fucking Rare Wubbox from My Singing Monsters. However, in other areas (e.g. when the game bugs out), his appearance is a Stylistic Suck impostor named "Him".

A sentient sock puppet with a clown nose and wig who's the avatar of the director of the mod. He’s the player character in the removed song “Skinny Nuts” and the main playable character in "Monotone Attack".

- Christmas in July: Loggo and some other crewmates are seen celebrating Christmas despite it being Halloween.
- Creator Cameo: Appears as the main judge in “Monotone Attack”.
- Stylistic Suck: Loggo's sprites are notably lower quality than the rest of the mod.

- Butt-Monkey: His rather "memey" animations are well known for their laughably funny dialogue.

A friend of Clowfoe's and an artist for the mod. He's the opponent of the removed song "Skinny Nuts" and the player character of "Torture".
- Adaptational Dye-Job: One that occured in between updates due to him updating his sona's design. He went from being a fluffy white figure with a red beanie, black pants and black eyes to a purple figure with orange eyes and no pants.
- Break the Haughty: Whereas in "Skinny Nuts" he kept a smug demeanor throughout the song, in "Torture", Ziffy's freaking out and in sheer panic, though this is to be expected when you're tied up in a chair and there's a pair of buzzsaws dangerously close to your face.
- Butt-Monkey: Cval and Pip hold him hostage in "Torture" and Clowfoe despises his use of the term "skinny nuts."
- Distressed Dude: In "Torture", in which he's held hostage by Cval and Pip.

- Singing Voice Dissonance: Unlike Pip and Cval, JADS doesn’t have a normal human voice, instead being a default voice of any other impostor in the mod.
- Break the Haughty: JADS keeps a smug demeanor throughout his secret week. However, his defeat icon shows his face to drop his smug demeanor with a rather shocked look.
- Harmless Villain: He is the only impostor during the secret week who doesn't kill anyone during the events of the mod.
- Non-Standard Character Design: JADS is the only impostor/content creator that has a rectangular visor instead of a rounded one like Pip.
- Ornamental Weapon: JADS wears a jetpack on his back and it is thoroughly exposed in all of his poses, but he never seems to use it.
A Lime Impostor who's the avatar of one of the mod's artists. He sings "Lime Lemon" and "Serialized", and takes over for JADS in "Inflorescence (Hotfix)".
- Antagonist Title: He's the main enemy of his secret week.
- Singing Voice Dissonance: Like JADS and Loggo, SquidBoy84 doesn’t have a normal human voice, instead being a default voice of any other impostor in the mod. But it comes with a twist: his voice is now the beeping noise that plays when one gets voted out!
- Badass Normal: Save for the red eye glint and miniature copper dagger, SquidBoy84 is otherwise a normal crewmate.
- Harmless Villain: Along with JADS, he is the only impostor during the secret week who doesn't kill anyone during the events of the mod.
- Non-Standard Character Design: SquidBoy84 is the only impostor/content creator that wields a dagger instead of a regular knife. He is also the only character that does not have a backpack, as it is instead a dotted outline.
- Ornamental Weapon: SquidBoy84 wields a miniature copper dagger on his back and even points it at Boyfriend in some of his poses, but he never uses it.
