The Northwest Divison

    Elliot
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/me_5.jpg

One of the founders of the War Hawks and the leader overall. He started out as co-leader with TJ but the latter stepped down and gave overall control of the group to him. Elliot is usually the first one speaking in videos as the others will quiet down even if they were having a conversation before the video started, then promptly start talking again once the intro is finished. He also comes up with most of the plans for things for the group to do for the channel. Being originally from Texas he has the typical southern drawl some would expect from someone from there, but he also can turn his accent off and on. Once the group started doing predictions for WWE pay per view events Elliot introduced a toy title that was gifted to him by Amber and Lilly as the prize for the winner, dubbing it "the War Hawks Heavyweight Championship". With whoever lost having to do a "loser challenge" punishment. Since the first predictions Elliot had NEVER lost a prediction challenge... until the Backlash 2016 predictions tie breaker match, where he lost to his own wife. in co-op videos he's mostly paired with TJ or Stephanie. You can find his Youtube channel here and his twitch channel here

  • Abusive Parents: Has basically disowned his adopted father for various reasons, including but not limited to:
    • Lying to him about his adopted mother having a memorial service.
    • Telling him that the way he was grieving wasn't valid because it didn't involve coming to see him.
    • Sleeping with (Elliot's) adopted sister, thus (his father's) adopted daughter
    • Physically putting his hands on him several times througout the years, including threatening to kill him at one point for talking back to him. No, we're not kidding.
    • And that's not even getting into what one of his other adopted sisters implied he did to him when he was younger. Or his equally strained relationship with his biological father for entirely different reasons.
  • The Ace: Displays a lot of the qualities associated with an ace. So he definitely qualifies.
  • Aerithand Bob: Of his siblings, we have the normal names Elliot, Jeff, Wayne, Becki, and Jodi, then we come to the yougest, whose name is Tianni.
  • Afraid of Needles: Another major fear of his. It's bad enough he's punched doctors inadvertently. His first winter with Steph, he caught walking pneumonia to the point he had to crawl from the mall he was waiting for Steph in to her work (it was in the same parking lot but several feet away). And when he went to the ER and they asked to take a blood sample after figuring out what was wrong he flat out said "No, I know what's wrong with me, just tell me when I can go back to work, gimme the paper saying so and let me go."
  • All-Loving Hero: Refuses to see bad in people until forced to.
  • Alter-Ego Acting: He uses different mannerisms and tones depending on which character he's portraying. His normal cheerful, peppy self for his real life persona. His cocky, narcissistic, over the top self for his Ironman persona. And his deep voiced snarky sadistic and over the top personality for his Xerios persona.
  • Ascended Fanboy: A few of note:
    • During his release day stream of Resident Evil 3 (Remake) he got raided (curtesy of a suggestion from V) by the S/O of former Lucha Underground Champion Marty "The Moth" Casaus
      • He also got to play Among Us with Marty on stream.
    • Speaking of the RE3 Remake, later in 2020, and in early 2021, he got to play Among Us with the voice of Jill Valentine herself, Nicole Tompkins.
    • And even more recently, he got to play Grand Theft Auto V Online with a independent professional wrestler (who also happens to follow him on Twitter) who goes by the ring name Shayla Hyde, who made an appearance as a Jobber on WWE Raw in 2018 against Nia Jax.
    • Perhaps the biggest example of this happened on the one year anniversary of the death of his adopted mother. The Twitter profile of Chyna, yes THAT Chyna, followed him.
  • Asperger Syndrome: Was diagnosed with this when he was 15. Which is the basis for one of his Berserk Buttons. Jokes about autism have gotten people banned in his chat.
  • Attack! Attack! Attack!: What most of his "strategies" boil down to. Which is why in most games involving combat his friends will have him fill the role of the tank.
TJ: We need a plan of attack
Elliot: I have a plan: ATTACK
  • Attention Deficit... Oh, Shiny!: Can go from conversation to conversation on the fly.
  • Awesome Moment of Crowning: As if being the LEADER of the War Hawks wasn't enough, he is undefeated in predictions, making him the Undisputed War Hawks Heavyweight Champion.
  • Awesomeness by Analysis: His mind is always working so he can pick up on things faster than most of the group.
  • Ax-Crazy: You wouldn't know it by looking at him but damn this dude is insane.
  • Back-to-Back Badasses: With Lily in GTA V
  • Bad Boss: As a Heel, averts this in real life, telling his teammates to be thankful they don't do Klingon Promotions in the War Hawks Army
  • Badass Boast: While describing his in ring style to some friends he'd made who don't watch wrestling. For context, he once played a match in WWE SmackDown Vs. Raw 2007 where he and his fiancee at the time's brother were in an Elimination Chamber Match. They had set the order of the entries into the match so that they knew who would come out when. Elliot started the match, the brother was the last one out. After eliminating the person who started the match with him, Elliot made his character leave the ring, walk over to the pod that he knew wouldn't open for at least 4 more minutes. And started pacing, when the unfortunate AI left his pod, Elliot was on him before he could even get a move off. This was something the brother commented on, about how aggressive he was. When he told his new friends about this, they made a similar remark, which led to this.
Elliot: Look, I'm a nice guy in real life, but in the ring, from the time that bell rings to the end of the match, friends or not, you are in my fucking way. I don't mess around when it comes to that kind of thing.
  • Badass Longcoat: As Xerios
  • Badass Minds Think Alike: He and TJ are usually thinking the same thing which causes one to say something right before or at the same time as the other.
  • Bash Brothers: With TJ
  • Battle Couple: With Steph
  • Beard of Evil: Again, more like goatee of evil as a heel in games.
  • Benevolent Boss: To his War Hawks teammates.
  • Berserk Button: Making fun of his wife's weight, or any of his friends for that matter. Also threatening him.
    • Judging by his reaction, every "Dark Room" sequence in Life Is Strange is one long sequence of Mr. Jefferson slamming his fist on almost every single button he has.
    • Given he reacted similarly to the above during his initial gameplay of Assassin's Creed: Freedom Cry, anything to do with slavery or treating people like anything less than human is one as well.
  • Beware the Nice Ones / Beware the Silly Ones: While Amber was the one to suggest kicking TJ out due to his actions, the ultimate decision rested on Elliot's shoulders. The fact that he didn't even hesitate to agree shows this to be the case.
  • Big Bad: When he's on a heel run he acts as this, being the Final Boss the faces have to contend with. Usually after dealing with the other War Hawks along the way. Often 2 or 3 at a time at that.
  • Big Good: When he's on a face run however, he's the exact opposite. Being a Reasonable Authority Figure and often coming to the aid of anyone who needs it. Friend or foe, best exemplified by the entry under Older Hero vs. Younger Villain. Also tends to be this in real life to the War Hawks in general.
  • Big Brother Instinct: Views his teammates as family and harming/threatening any of them is an easy way to piss him off.
    • Naturally, exaggerated with his biological sister Becki. God help you if you hurt her and he finds out about it.
  • Big Little Brother: Not Elliot himself, as he's the oldest, but all three of his younger brothers are taller than him. He's not happy about this!
  • Blasphemous Boast: "If God were a heel, he'd be in the War Hawks."
  • Blonde, Brunette, Redhead: The blonde to TJ and Stephen's Brunette and Amber's Redhead. Also the Blonde to Lily's Brunette and Amber's Redhead.
  • Blood Knight: Let's just say, he loves to fight.
  • Brilliant, but Lazy: He'd have a Masters degree in SOMETHING by now if he had the motivation to get off his ass.
  • …But He Sounds Handsome: His reaction when his character in WWE 2K19 was trying to convince an NPC that we wasn't the wrestler on the poster.
  • Butt-Monkey: Despite being the leader he suffers from this a lot.
  • Car Fu: Can and will ram into anything and everything that gets in his way if he's behind the wheel of a vehicle. Especially in Grand Theft Auto V where cars are the main means of transportation. Drives Like Crazy indeed.
  • Card-Carrying Villain: Spends most of his time on screen being a bad guy, whether as a Heel in wrestling games or as a bad guy if given the option (like in Knights of the Old Republic) because, by his own admission, "I have a lot more fun when I'm a bad guy."
  • Character Development: When he found out about TJ's actions, you'd expect him to make an excuse or something and welcome him back with open arms right? Nope, not only was he one of the quickest to condemn him, he pulled the trigger on kicking him out. Going from the Butt-Monkey leader that seemingly no one on his team respects to no nonsense Papa Wolf seemingly in the blink of an eye. The fact he has stated TJ will have to earn his spot in the group back shows he plans to subvert the Easily Forgiven trope he is often associated with as well.
  • Cool Big Bro: To the younger members of the group, as well as his own younger siblings.
  • Combat Commentator: Provides commentary for all shows for Universe Mode while also competing in the ring. Often times at the same time! See Acting for Two on the YMMV page for a particularly hilarious example of this.
  • Comedic Sociopath: So much so people can't decide if he's more like Ironman or Deadpool
  • Chick Magnet: Before settling down, let's just say he had a lot of girlfriends.
  • Creepy Monotone: How you know he's really pissed. Combining this with Kubrick Stare below usually means whoever he's talking to is about 3 seconds away from a beating. Just ask Mr. Jefferson.
  • Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: It would surprise you just how badass he really is.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: Aside from the below mentioned Flawless Victory against TJ, he was playing EA Sports UFC and went against a fighter touted as one of the best. He finished the fight in 3 punches.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Several examples. He's very good at sarcasm and dry whit.
Phin: *As Rhino picks up a tank and hurls it at them* "Oh my God, he's throwing a tank!"
Elliot: *dodging out of the way with an exasperated look on his face.* "THANKS PHIN! I HADN'T NOTICED!"
    • Later during the same fight
Rhino: *says something to the effect of "Get over here so I can kill you"*
*Rhino says something else along those lines*
  • Deep South: Is from Texas, so this is to be expected.
  • Demoted to Dragon: As a heel he gets hit with this as Beth and Chris take over the Big Bad role
  • Disney Owns This Trope: Will often mock this by mentioning something that's copyrighted and then saying "Oops, I mean uh..."
  • Does Not Know His Own Strength: There have been times when he has displayed feats of strength remarkable for someone his size. Like when his and Steph's car got stuck on some ice outside her mother's house and he gave one hard push before literally steering the car for a few feet before realizing Steph wasn't controlling the car... he was.
  • The Dragon: To Beth and Chris
  • Dragon-in-Chief: Maintains Field Leader status even as a heel.
  • Drives Like Crazy: If his driving in video games is to be believed. He rams into everything with reckless abandon. Screams at everything to get out of his way. And out right tells NPCs that he doesn't care if they make it home to their families if they get in his way. Claims to avert this in real life. Though as he's yet to show proof, we'll just have to take his word for it.
  • Evil Is Bigger: Xerios is 7'2
  • Evil Sounds Deep: Xerios has a deep, booming voice.
  • Expy: His wrestling character: long blonde hair cut shorter in later years to look more professional, badass goatee, leather jacket, tendancy to form Power Stables and turn on them, married to a woman named Stephanie, works much better as a Heel than he does as a Face, hmmm where have we heard all this before?
    • Add the Cool Shades, and occasional Badass Longcoat, as well as his ability to play the cocky, arrogant, narcissistic, douchebag heel who will do anything to win but the fans love to hate and he's a bit of a Composite Character with Trips and Edge
  • A Brother To His Men: While most of the group are older than him, he IS the leader and they often defer to him when not sure what to do.
  • The Fighting Narcissist: Loves to fight, and is incredibly full of himself? check and check!
  • Flat "What": His response to Alice's Robotic Reveal in Detroit: Become Human
    "wait what?"
  • Friend to All Living Things: Tries to befriend any animal he comes across, even when it's not a good idea. except spiders, fuck those guys.
  • Frontline General: Brilliant, but Lazy he may be, but never let it be said Elliot doesn't get off his ass when shit needs to be done.
  • Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: Hahahahahahahahaha no.
  • Happily Married: To Stephanie
  • The Heart: Has been told by several people if not for him the group would fall apart, so seems to fit this.
  • Heel–Face Revolving Door: In any game, but particularly in wrestling games, you can expect him to go from being a nice guy to a dick at the drop of a hat.
  • Heroes Love Dogs: It's part of his Friend to All Living Things schtick. Any time he sees a dog he will let out a loud squee followed by "PUPPER!" and often try to pet the dog in question.
  • Heroic BSoD: Slipped into one of these on October 5th, 2016 after learning of the death of his birth mother. He seems have gotten better though.
    • Slipped into another following the death of his adopted mom on May 28th 2020. Again, seems to have gotten (relatively speaking) better.
  • How Did You Know? I Didn't: For someone who always has a plan he does this a lot, like when he made a quip about his friend and her boyfriend getting married, she asked how he knew he proposed, he replied he didn't.
  • I Am Not Left-Handed: Ironic considering he IS left handed. Will often start cracking jokes, or just remain silent during a game if he's confident he can beat it. If a gameplay features him starting to become a Motor Mouth (especially if he starts dropping Cluster F Bombs)run. It means he's stopped fucking around and/or is REALLY pissed.
    • Best exemplified when he was playing a few matches of Mortal Kombat 11 with TJ offscreen. The first couple of matches they were just screwing around. With TJ winning the first, then blatantly letting Elliot win the second. Elliot mentions out loud that TJ let him win which he admits. Then tells him not to let him win, and suggests they stop holding back. Elliot then proceeds to win every match after that. Including getting a Flawless Victory.
  • I Have No Son!: Has basically disowned both his biological and adopted fathers because of either how they treated him, or for not being there among other reasons.
  • I Lied: Does this a lot, best exemplified in his quote of fellow Texan Eddie Guerrero
Elliot: When I said I was sorry, I forgot to tell you...
    Devin: Yeah?
    Elliot: I lied!
  • Inferiority Superiority Complex: Suffers from this, though he doesn't like telling people about it. From the horse's mouth:
Elliot: I have to talk myself up, I'm the leader, a group is only as good as its leader. If I don't think I'm the greatest then the rest of the group won't think they are.
  • Irony: Married Stephanie the day before his birthday with the reasoning that if he forgot their anniversary he might as well forget his birthday too. THE VERY NEXT DAY after waking up and checking Facebook, he had no idea why so many people had posted on his wall!
    • Bragged for days about how he was the Undefeated, Undisputed War Hawks Heavyweight Champion of the World in the lead up to Backlash 2016. Only to lose the title when he tied with someone else and they had a tie breaker match.
    • That someone else? HIS WIFE! Watch his 4 Month title reign flash before his eyes here
  • Jerkass: Is called an asshole by everyone he meets for good reason.
  • Jerk Jock: Not so much now that he's older. But in his younger years played a lot of football and basketball and was known to be a bit of a playboy.
  • Katanas Are Just Better: He certainly thinks so.
  • Kindhearted Cat Lover: Another thing attributed to his Friend to All Living Things schtick. Even the bigger ones, cats are among his favorite animals. His all time favorite being a lion, if you're curious.
  • Knight of Cerebus: Insists that he can be evil if he wants to, though his teammates deny it. Proved to be this in game when he turned on TJ taking half the group with him. Thus starting a civil war between the War Hawks that lasted a full year.
  • Kubrick Stare: For the longest time didn't know what this was. Upon looking it up on this very wiki, realized he gives people this look a LOT. If you're on the receiving end, chances are, you're about to get your ass kicked.
  • Lady Killer In Love: Was a bit of a player when he was younger. Up until he smartened up and got with Steph.
  • Law of Chromatic Superiority: Wears a lot of red, and gets most of the goodies.
  • The Leader: Of the War Hawks overall
  • Lightning Bruiser: Can move pretty fast and can hit harder than you'd expect.
  • Literal Split Personality: He and Xerios are two completely different characters in WWE Video Games
  • Lovable Jock: Despite being a bit of a jerk. There's a reason people follow him. Even though he was never the star of any team. Until he formed his own.
  • Made of Iron: Incredibly Lame Pun aside, he once got into a boxing match with a friend, got punched in the face several times, and KEPT GETTING BACK UP. Not convinced? He also once headbutted a BRICK WALL on a dare. When asked why he actually did it? It Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time.
  • Major Injury Under Reaction: Once, as a teenager, he was trying to separate two frozen hamburger patties with a utility knife instead of the more safe butter knife. Instead of going up with the motion, he goes straight. Which results in him stabbing himself in the hand. His response? A rather disinterested sounding "oh..." before informing his mom he needed a bandaid.
  • Magnificent Bastard: Brilliant? lazily so, but yeah. Always has a back up plan and rarely is affected by things not going according to plan and is good at improvising? Check. Always has a goal and will do anything to achieve it? and a back up plan, and a back up plan for that back up plan... Charasmatic? Has an ARMY behind him, what's that tell you? Savvy? When he wants to be. Audacious? OH YEAH.
  • May–December Romance: Is 5 years his wife's junior.
  • Mean Character, Nice Actor: Ironman is one of the biggest jerkasses you'll ever meet. Elliot, on the other hand, is a real sweetheart (according to some of his friends) who doesn't like offending people.
  • Miles Gloriosus: Played with while he is one of the most boastful of the group and known to cuss often, most of the time he can back it up. Other times...
  • Mission Control: Acts as this to the non-Idaho Division members, letting them know when other members need help and giving out assignments.
  • Momma's Boy: Was much closer to both his adopted and biological mothers than either of his fathers.
  • Mortality Phobia: Openly admits he's terrified of dying, not so much the death itself. Rather, he's scared of what, if anything comes after.
  • My Sister Is Off-Limits: Has this attitude in regards to Becki. Having threatened, at different points, DJ when he thought he might be interested in her. As well as her current boyfriend, threatening to break him if he broke her heart. DJ is The Giant of the team, literally towering over almost all of them, while Bobi (Becki's current boyfriend) is at least 10 years older than Elliot. Naturally, both took it in stride, understanding that, as he only met her when she was 19, he missed the time in her life when he got to do all the classic big brother tropes. He was attempting to make up for lost time.
  • Names to Run Away from Really Fast: Has gone by the nickname "The Animal" in the past. Xerios' most well known Red Barons (The Dark Lord and The Hardcore Monster) also don't sound very inviting.
  • Nerves of Steel: While playing the Resident Evil 3 (Remake) demo, while many of his Let's Play peers scream their heads off when confronted by Nemesis, he keeps relatively calm. Only shouting in frustration/surprise. It helps that A. He had watched people play the demo before playing it himself and B. He is, by his own admission a seasoned Resident Evil veteran. He's literally Seen It All and at this point there's little the series can do to surprise him.
  • Never Gets Fat: For most of his life, he would eat a LOT and never get fat. This was due to having a high metabolism, when he moved to be with Steph, he put on some weight. Leading to his mom to joke that Steph fought the metabolism by having lots of sex after feeding him.
  • Nice Guy: Spending even one minute with the guy will tell you this. From his cheery, friendly demeanor (unless you piss him off) to his tendency to hug EVERYONE he meets. Having asked for a hug from Lucie when he had just met her. To the way he introduces new people to the group as if he's known the person for years even if he's just met them.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: His friends agree that anytime he's NOT acting like an idiot, like in the case of Tranquil Fury below, something is DEFINITELY wrong and he's quite frightening.
  • Odd Friendship: Not in terms of the people involved but due to their vastly different play styles and channels. Has one of these with Mariya Due (at least at first) to having the same birthday.
  • Older Hero vs. Younger Villain: TRIED to be this in his WWE Championship feud with Sting for WrestleMania in TJ's universe. With Elliot playing the Final Boss heel with the War Hawks at his side and Sting being the heroic face reforming the Main Event Mafia to take them down. However, the game itself defied this and made Elliot the face with Sting acting as the heel. To the point that what was meant to be the turning point of the feud. Elliot saving Sting from a beat down by WWE Tag Team Champions Bray Wyatt and Finn Bálor. Was seen less as a Heel–Face Turn for Elliot and more him coming to the rescue of his enemy. It ended with the two winning the Tag Team Titles together... 20 minutes before they went back out and had a brutal 30 minute Falls Count Anywhere Ironman Match for the WWE Title.
  • Older Than They Look: Still looks more or less the same as he did back in 2005 when the group was formed despite now being 30 years old. The only difference being some barely noticeable wrinkles and his hairline getting thinner.
  • Only Known by Their Nickname: Or middle name in this case
  • Papa Wolf: Very overprotective of all of his team mates. Especially the younger members.
    • Once again, exaggerated with Becki. Even his own wife isn't immune to his wrath, as he told her, in no uncertain terms, she was *not* to bad mouth her.
  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: The pint sized part is Downplayed but he can be rather strong when he wants to be. See above for more details.
  • Power Stable: The War Hawks, obviously. Also the Eternal Masters (long story), as well as his own versions of The Wolfpac and Evolution. Long story short, the guy has a penchant for forming these.
  • Power Trio: With Steph and TJ. Also with Amber and Lily.
  • Rapid-Fire "No!": His response to 3 out of the main 5 characters killed the 4th with no one and the 5th turned evil in Detroit: Become Human
''Realizing he's just gotten Luther, Alice, and Markus killed, and that he didn't save Connor from being reprogrammed. Leaving Kara alone. "nononononono"
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: As a face as the SmackDown General Manager for their Universe Mode.
  • Red Baron: The Ironman
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The red to Stephanie and TJ's blue.
  • Relationship Upgrade: After being friends with Stephanie for (at the time) 9 years and going through multiple girlfriends along the way, he finally got with her.
  • Ruling Couple: With Steph
  • Sadist: By his own admission he enjoys hurting people.
    • Soft-Spoken Sadist: Though you wouldn't know it by looking at him because most of the time he never speaks above a normal speaking voice.
  • Screw the Rules, I Make Them!: All the damn time!
  • Shadow Archetype: Xerios
  • Sibling Team: Has a younger sister named Becki on the team. Also is Beth's adopted younger brother.
  • Sibling Yin-Yang: For as much as they are alike, he and Becki are also very different. Elliot likes hugging and being close to people, Becki doesn't. Becki gets paranoid and annoyed very easily, Elliot is barely fazed by anything. There are more examples, but it would take up a lot of the page.
  • A Sinister Clue: As noted above, he's left handed, and prone to Chronic Backstabbing Disorder
  • Split Personality: How his Xerios persona manifests itself.
  • Straight Edge: For most of his life he followed the beliefs of Straight Edge pretty strictly. While later in life he does enjoy alcohol, he still adheres to the strict "No drugs or smoking" part. It's never really been a major part of his character. He's always seen himself as a normal guy/gamer who happens to be straight edge. Kind of like how CM Punk is a wrestler who just happens to be straight edge.
  • The Strategist: Calls himself this, and it shows with how he's always thinking and coming up with plans for the group.
  • Strong Family Resemblance: Depending on who you ask, he and Becki either look identical, just alike enough for people to deduce they are related, or nothing alike. While his biological father people have told him he looks like a mini me of. Word of advice, do NOT tell him this.
  • Superpowered Evil Side: Xerios, again.
  • Three Plus Two: When his two Power Trios come together they form this with Beth as the Sixth Ranger.
  • Tranquil Fury: If he's doing this instead of his usual demeanor, Don't Ask, Just Run. Best exemplified when he was playing Detroit: Become Human and he got to a certain part of the game that was uncomfortable to him for obvious reasons. He stopped smiling, dropped the jokes, and pretty much had a Death Glare on his face the whole time.
  • Too Kinky to Torture: His response to any violence threatened to him by his teammates? "OH BABY!"
  • Would Hit a Girl: Not that he'd be particularly happy about it, but if he absolutely needs to he will.
  • Wrestler in All of Us: When he actually fights, he's known to bust out some wrestling moves. Such as hitting a German Suplex on an opponent once. Fridge Brilliance when you consider he's a huge Fan Boy of wrestling. Fridge Horror kicks in when you realize he knows exactly how to use the moves to hurt someone if he wants to.
  • Wrestling Monster: When Xerios takes over, one of Xerios' Red Barons is even "The Hardcore Monster".

    TJ
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tj.jpg

Another founding member and one of the original two that started it all along with Elliot. He's the one who originally gave the group its name, getting the idea from an old plane from World War II. He's more laid back than Elliot, preferring to let his viewers say and do pretty much whatever they want within reason. He also doesn't do a lot of talking in group videos unless asked to, preferring to stay in the background and make comments wherever he feels he needs to. He's also very blunt and honest about his opinion and doesn't care if you disagree with him. Just don't call him out on it if you do. In co-op videos he's mostly paired with Elliot as they live together, but won't shy away from pairing with others if the occasion calls for it. In predictions videos he usually comes in second having only lost, as of this writing, 2 challenges to date. In late August 2019, he was, in game, rather violently excommunicated from the group due to a combination of factors. He was told he would have to earn his spot in the group back. In April 2020, he was allowed back into the group following a vote from all the prominent members. He was then, in game, had to run the gauntlet in order to be allowed back in. You can find his Youtube channel here and his Twitch channel here

    Stephanie
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/steph_3.jpg

Elliot's wife and the first "official" Lady Hawk due to being close to Elliot upon the groups formation. When she started dating Elliot, and after he consulted the other members, she was promoted to leader of the division due to her tenure as well as being his girlfriend at the time. This was only solidified when she married him. When he moved up to be with her and didn't have any friends, she introduced him to some of hers, though she claims she doesn't have many. This became Hilarious in Hindsight when he became close friends with Beth and her family and dragged her into the mix as well. In co-op videos she is most often paired with her husband, and had yet to win a prediction challenge... Until the tie breaker match for Backlash 2016 when she defeated her husband to win the War Hawks Heavyweight Championship ending his 4 month reign. Her Youtube channel can be found here (Warning: she doesn't have many videos) and her Twitch here

  • Animal-Eared Headband: Not a headband but she has a pair of cat eared headphones that were bought for her by Amber and Lily.
  • Ascended Fanboy: Was once part of a livestream by ProtonJon where if you were subscribed to him there was a chance he would call you on Skype to be a part of the stream. She had to work early in the morning and so couldn't stay up to wait despite her husband's attempts to convince her. He called her right after she went to bed.
  • Attention Deficit... Oh, Shiny!: Just like her husband, has this problem a lot.
  • Ax-Crazy: Before she got with Elliot she was only SLIGHTLY crazy. Then she married him.
  • Battle Couple: With Elliot
  • Blonde, Brunette, Redhead: The redhead (when she has it dyed), to Beth's blonde and Lily's brunette.
  • Brainy Brunette
  • Butt-Monkey: Other than 2 times, she always loses the predictions challenges
  • Canon Discontinuity: She's the first Lady Hawk in history. Yep, the first one, Brenda? Never heard of her.
  • Combat Commentator: Provides commentary for all shows for Universe Mode while also competing in the ring. Often times at the same time! See Acting for Two on the YMMV page for a particularly hilarious example of this.
  • The Corrupter: She's the one who introduced Elliot to TV Tropes and a lot of other things.
  • Cute Bruiser: She's cute and will beat the crap out of you if you piss her off enough.
  • Cute, but Cacophonic: She's adorable, just keep a safe distance when talking to her. She's loud enough whenever Elliot was on the phone with her, his mom never had to ask who he was talking to. She could hear her across the house. note
  • Defeating the Undefeatable: Elliot seemed unstoppable in his reign as War Hawks Heavyweight Champion, with good reason. Cue one tie, and a half asleep wife later, and she proved even the invincible can be beaten. Watch it happen here
  • Dye Hard: While she's a natural brunette, she's dyed her hair red in the past. She also recently dyed it green.
  • Friend to All Living Things: Except lady bugs, because fuck those guys. Noticing a trend here?
  • First Girl Wins: While she was by no means his first girlfriend, she was the person he spent the most time talking to/about so close enough.
  • Genki Girl: Not so much now that she's married, but when she was younger.
  • Happily Married: With Elliot
  • The Lancer: Served as co-lancers with TJ until the latter's exile from the group. Now serves as the sole Lancer to her husband.
  • Loners Are Freaks: Seems to have this attitude about herself, despite her husband and many others telling her otherwise. The trolls don't help.
  • May–December Romance: Is 5 years older than Elliot.
  • Only Sane Man: Acts as this compared to Elliot and TJ's antics in their videos.
  • Power Trio: With Elliot and TJ
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The blue to her husband's red.
  • Red Baron: Sherania, Shenron
  • Relationship Upgrade: After being friends with Elliot for (at the time) 9 years, he finally asked her out. We all know how it went from there.
  • Ruling Couple: With Elliot
  • Shout-Out: Just look at her nicknames
  • Throw It In!: Originally when she first showed up in V's stream he couldn't pronounce her screen name (Sherania) so asked if he could just call her Shenron. She said yes, and the nickname stuck.

    Beth
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/beth_2.jpg

A recent addition to the team, Beth joined in 2014 when she met Elliot. She quickly became good friends with them, her mother like personality earning her the Affectionate Nickname Mama Beth. She is the one who keeps the calm between the hottest heads among the group. Beth is the kind of person who will do anything for you until you screw her over. She is also Amber's big sister having helped raise her for much of her life, so the Mama Bear tenancies come natural to her. She has her own Youtube and Twitch channels seperate from the others but proudly proclaims herself as a member of the group. Mostly making appearances in group videos and "War Hawks Out Of Character" videos, she has yet to have a 2 person co-op with anyone and as such doesn't have a go-to pairing. One would assume, however, that if and when she does start co-ops, she would be paired with her husband Chris. You can find her on Youtube here and on Twitch here

    Chris
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/chris_1.jpg

Beth's husband and another recent addition to the team. He doesn't take part in a lot of group videos, preferring to do his own thing which is understandable. Although Beth can occasionally convince him to come out of hiding to take part in a video. Not much is known by the viewers about him as he mostly keeps to himself. Though when he does speak it's usually to make a comment about how stupid something sounds or make a dirty joke. As he doesn't participate much in group videos he doesn't really have a go-to pairing for co-op videos, though if he did it would probably be Beth. He doesn't have a Youtube or Twitch channel as he seems to be a more private person. Any information on him is just speculation at this point. Now has a Twitch channel which can be found here

    Amber
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nate_6.jpg

Beth's younger sister and another more recent addition to the team. She joined about the same time Beth did having been living with them when they met Elliot. She's an anime/manga enthusiast and is currently writing her own comic. Which, once she became an official member of the group, decided it would star alternate reality versions of the group themselves. She's one of the more hot headed of the group do to past experiences before she met them, but usually her sister or wife can keep her calm. In co-op videos she'll most likely be paired with Lily but she doesn't really like to be in front of the camera so he probably won't be very often if at all. She is currently working on setting up a Twitch channel due to Elliot getting her interested in livestreaming through his own live streams. Time will tell if she decides to make a Youtube channel. Now has her own Twitch channel which she shares with Lily which you can find here. If it wasn't obvious from all the changes to this folder as well as the fact that the picture is of a guy, Amber is Transgender.

    Lily
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lily_2.jpg

Amber's wife and another recent addition to the team, joining in late 2014. She's one of those people who is quiet until you least expected it. Leading to many a "Where the hell did YOU come from?" reaction. She's initially shy until you really get to know her, except with Elliot, who the moment he met her instantly welcomed her like she'd been part of the group the entire time. Apart from Amber and her family she seems closest to Elliot as they spend a lot of time when no one else is around hanging out together. Much like most of the others she's originally from Texas so she has a bit of an accent. She has a Youtube channel but doesn't really have any videos. She also doesn't have a Twitch channel so she won't be there until Amber makes hers. In co-op videos she'll most likely be paired with Amber or if she's unavailable probably Elliot. Established her Twitch channel to play Horizon Zero Dawn which can be found here and her YouTube can be found here

     Brittany
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/brittany_3.jpg

TJ's wife and a VERY recent addition to the team. Brittany is a goofy, funny, sweet person who seems like she's easy to get along with unless you piss her off. Which if you've been paying attention means she fits right in. Not much is known about her right now, but she'll be helping with the setting up of this character page so we'll find out soon. She met Elliot and Steph through working with them and TJ the same way but from a different location. In co-op videos she'll most likely be paired with TJ but will probably pair up with some of the other members if they ask. Her Twitch channel can be found here but it's not known if she live streams or not. She and TJ are officially married as of mid-2018

Other Key Members

    Will

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/will_3.jpg

The first member ever recruited by Elliot and TJ to join the War Hawks back when it was only a Power Stable pipe dream. Will is mellowed out in terms of just about everything. Taking a laid back approach to his every day life, he's a LOT more aggressive in the ring. One when the three of them were in a practice wrestling match in real life he was able to go toe to toe with both Elliot and TJ in their prime. As his name suggests he has a very sick and twisted sense of humor. He has yet to appear in any videos due to being in Orange, Texas during Elliot's 2 week stay in his home town. Doesn't have a Youtube or Twitch channel that anyone is aware of but I could be wrong about this.

     Heath

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/heath_0.jpg

The second person to be recruited for the War Hawks after Will. Heath has always been a rabid WWE fan which is what caused TJ and Elliot to scout him. At first not really all that social he just kind of hung back the first year of the group. Their sophomore year of High School however, that all changed as Heath came out of his shell more or less. In later years whenever the group wanted to hang out together while it was Elliot who did the planning, it was Heath who provided the transportation as he was the only one with a license at the time. Heath doesn't have a Twitch or YouTube but he does have a Twitter. In co-op videos if he DOES show up for any, he'll likely be paired with Elliot and or Devin as they are the ones he's closest to since Elliot and TJ moved to Idaho.

  • Ax-Crazy: Downplayed a bit as he's nowhere near as crazy as Elliot or TJ but he certainly has this feel about him.
  • Attention Deficit... Oh, Shiny!: Again, downplayed when compared to his team mates but it's there.
  • Berserk Button: It takes a lot to set him off, but to name a few, screwing his friends over or implying he doesn't know how to do his job are a couple.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: He's one of the nicest members of the team, but piss him off and you'll find this out the hard way.
  • Blood Knight: Loves to fight just as much as his teammates.
  • Brainy Brunette: Made consistently good grades in school and has brown hair.
  • The Cameo: Has only appeared in one video so far. The introduction of himself and Devin to the fanbase.
  • Cool Shades: As seen in the picture.
  • Deadpan Snarker: A defining trait of his.
  • The Evil Genius: To the original team as heels, and the War Hawks OG in the War Hawks Civil War. Also in general as joked by some of the members.
  • Friend to All Living Things
  • Perma-Stubble: Has this as opposed to the Beard of Evil most of his teammates have.
  • Real Men Love Jesus: Found God later in life and has since toned down some of the more extreme charactaristics of the group.
  • Red Baron: The Superman
  • Religious Bruiser: After he found God he became this.
  • Shoutout: His nickname is The Superman.
  • The Smart Guy: To the original team as faces
  • Start My Own: When TJ and Elliot moved to Idaho and Will moved to a different part of Texas, leaving himself and Devin as the only 2 of the original 5 team members. He started hanging out with some friends from work with this trope seemingly in mind.
  • Tall, Dark, and Snarky: One of the tallest members of the group, and very snarky.

     Devin
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dj.jpg

The 3rd personn to be recruited by Elliot and TJ in the early days of the War Hawks. He filled out the original Five-Man Band that they had invisioned as the original idea was to toss around The Spirit Squad who were terrorizing the WWE Raw roster at the time. He's a LOT more snarky than most of the other members and is the REASON Elliot became such an asshole later in life. Being the tallest member of the group at the time he was often refered to as The Giant. While he puts up a good front he's really a nice guy at heart, just don't tell him that.

     Becki
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/becki.jpg
Ironman's little sister

Ironman's biological younger sister, Becki joined the team in late 2014 when he discovered her. Having been born and adopted 4 years after her brother, they didn't know about each other until nearly 20 years later. Of course as soon as they did, she was welcomed into the group easily. She streams on her own channel but also teams with her brother in co-op videos. As they were in separate states for much of their lives, up to and including when they found each other, Becki and Elliot didn't "officially" meet (as in, in person) until 2020.

  • Action Mom: One of two moms on the team, well the other is soon-to-be but still.
  • Affectionate Nickname: Elliot routinely calls her "Goofball" because she acts like one a lot. As well as being his way of acknowledging how similar they are.
  • Annoying Younger Sibling: At times, at least according to Elliot.
  • Daddy's Girl: By her own admission. It helps that he raised her on his own. His death affected her deeply.
  • Deep South: Like most members of the group, even moreso than most of them due to being from Tennessee as opposed to Texas.
  • Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: Just like her big brother.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: Seemingly, even moreso than Elliot. It Runs in the Family apparently.
  • Happily Adopted: So much so that when she found out that the man who raised her wasn't actually her biological father, she still referred to him as her dad.
  • Heroes Love Dogs: Again, just like her big brother, she currently owns a rescue named Dexter who she loves dearly.
  • Kind Hearted Cat Lover: So much so she currently owns SEVEN cats.
  • The Lancer: Co-lancers with Steph due to the former being his wife.
  • Missing Mom: Her adopted father wasn't married and her biological mother was out of the picture until she was 19.
  • Sibling Team: While Elliot refers to most of his friends as family, Becki is the first of his biological siblings to officially join the team.
  • Sibling Yin-Yang: For as much as they are alike, she and Elliot are also very different. Elliot likes hugging and being close to people, Becki doesn't. Becki gets paranoid and annoyed very easily, Elliot is barely fazed by anything. There are more examples, but it would take up a lot of the page.
