This team from Kanagawa is only mentioned in the manga, but it becomes a group of Ascended Extras in the anime, even though the team members are all Canon Foreigners. In a sense, they're an Expy of Hyotei, with arrogance, players with similar play-styles, etc. There's a big difference, however: Their eccentric and beautiful coach, Aoi Hanamura, has a borderline scientific approach to tennis, and thus she gives her pupils very personalized training regimes.
- Canon Foreigner: The school's name is mentioned in the manga, but it was never the focus since Seigaku was actually supposed to play against Midoriyama. All the members of the team were created for the anime series.
- Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: None of them are even mentioned during the National Tournament arc or the anime adaptation of New Prince of Tennis. Reiji's case is even glaring, as Kentarou Aoi helps Ryoma recover his memories, but Reiji isn't anywhere.
- "It" Is Dehumanizing: Subverted. Their coach refers to them as "Masterpieces" rather than students, but aside from coach Ryuuzaki nobody seems to mind.
Takahisa Kajimoto is the serious and soft-spoken captain. His flexibility is used in his serve, the L-drive Serve, where he bends his entire body back and releases it like a catapult.
- Mirror Character: He is almost a clone of Tezuka: both have similar haircuts, have stoic personalities, and were often relegated to The Unfought during the first games. The only difference is his unusual serve.
- Rubber Man: To a degree, as he's almost unnaturally flexible.
- The Stoic: He rarely has any other emotions.
- The Unfought: He didn't get to play against Seigaku (facing Fuji), due to the score being decided in favor of Seigaku before their Singles 1 match could take place.
Reiji Shinjo is known as Hanamura's greatest "masterpiece", with his techniques involving very powerful shots known as Mirage. The powerful shots are indistinguishable from a regular return or serve, leaving opponents confused. Another technique he has is the Deep Impulse, which is a powerful shot that also can be used as a serve that will injure the opponent, and consecutive attempts to return the Deep Impulse may injure the player to the point of unable to play tennis anymore.
- Berserk Button: Insulting Hanamura's training method.
- Hot for Teacher: His huge apparent crush on Hanamura is played for laughs.
- Sugar-and-Ice Personality: He is emotionless except when he is interacting with coach Hanamura.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: In the OVAs of the National Tournament, Reiji is absent from the group of all the people who had played against Ryoma so he can recover his memory. It could be excused if not for the fact that Kentarou Aoi (who didn't play against Ryoma in the manga, but did so in the anime) was also added in this version.
Hiroshi Wakato is the vice-captain, who can copy any famous professional tennis player's playing style using his "Change Over" technique, even copying their smallest habits. With this move, he can change his play style easily and when his opponent finally gets used to his style, he changes over again. Though he passes it off as just copying, he spends countless hours practicing. He is very popular, even having his own fanclub, which follows him to his official matches.
- Boisterous Bruiser: He is capable of replicating the style of any player, he is fairly popular with the girls, and he isn't afraid of boasting and taunting his opponents through interviews. This is why coach Ryuzaki decides to put Kaidoh against him.
- Chick Magnet: Very popular with girls, he even has a fanclub who follows him around.
- Ditto Fighter: He appears to be the Tsungxpert kind, but it's later subverted. He can copy and play like famous tennis players because of years of practicing their moves (by chance this included Martina Hingis' Buggy Whip Shot, which is a running version of Kaidoh's famous Snake Shot), but he cannot copy moves he has never practiced before, like Kaidoh's Boomerang Snake.
Yohei Tanaka plays doubles with his younger, twin brother, Kohei Tanaka. He is often mistaken for a girl due to his short, dark pink hair. Kouhei is often in the same situation due to his long blue hair. He has very good hearing, which, together with his brother's good eyesight, allows them to predict their opponents moves.
- Dude Looks Like a Lady: They are small, have some feminine features, and have colorful hair... Who wouldn't confuse them as girls?
- Identical Twin ID Tag: Their hair colors.
- She's a Man in Japan: The Latin American dub mistakes the twins for girls.
- Sibling Team: They both play doubles.
- Theme Twin Naming: Their names rhyme.
- The Big Guy: He's the largest of the Jousei Shonan players, being about as big as Hyoutei's power player, Kabaji.
- Combination Attack: "Thunderbolt" with Oota Shou. This is more or less a Fastball Special where the small Shou jumps off Kiriyama's shoulders to reach extremely high heights and return high shots from an otherwise impossible position/angle.
- Signature Move: "Cannon Volley", "Thunderbolt" (Combination Attack with Oota)
- Cool Shades: He use his stylish glasses on court.
- Combination Attack: "Thunderbolt" with Kiriyama Daichi.
