- Ascended Extra: From a family visitor in Season 14 to a player in Season 16.
- Cool Teacher: She's a teacher back home, and also very capable in the game.
- Determinator: Doris' husband was voted out midway through the merge and she was targeted at nearly every Tribal Council, but she kept fighting until the very end, eventually making it to the final Tribal Council and winning the game.

- Only Sane Man: On Sarasa post-swap.
- The Social Expert: She make bonds with several people very early on in the game, even with people like Iyzebel.

- Team Mom: Wherever she goes, she's always this.
The Runner-Ups
Second Orange Is the New Black fan character, and Thorne's sister.
- Born Lucky: She ends up either winning or getting to experience every post-merge reward, including a free pass to the Final 5.
- The Ditherer: Her loyalties are constantly wavering, and she regularly makes deals that she doesn't follow through on.
- Fetish: For werewolves.
- The Generic Girl: At least when compared to the rest of the cast. This ends up costing her the game, as many of the Jury members saw her as being overly reliant on Thorne and not playing her own game.
- Sibling Yin-Yang: With Thorne.
Returned from Season 2: Brains VS Brawn, and Season 6: All Stars.
- Berserk Button: Rosella getting voted out.
- Big Bad: Once again, he positions himself as the game's biggest strategic threat.
- Bittersweet Ending: He lost the jury vote, but he finally finished the game he loves.
- Dye Hard: Has obviously dyed his hair since his last appearance.
- Fatal Flaw: His love of mocking his opponents. It costs him the win, as he burned too many bridges on the jury despite his strong strategic game.
- Even Evil Has Loved Ones: He's still a gangster, but he truly wants what's best for his daughter.
- Foil: To Lake. Vinnie is a criminal, but he looks out for his daughter at all costs and is exactly as smart as he says he is. Meanwhile, Lake is a cop who is an Abusive Parent and nowhere near as good at the game as he thinks.
- Heroic BSoD: After Rosella was voted off, though he may have been faking.
- My Greatest Second Chance: After all this time, he finally reached the end of the game.
- Narnia Time: More time has passed in his home dimension than other returning characters had pass in their worlds.
- Older Than They Look: He does not look like he's in his sixties.
- Outlasting One's Offspring: His daughter get voted out before him and he doesn't take it well, causing him to become focused on getting revenge on Lake for his role in it.
- Papa Wolf: His goal this season is to keep his daughter in the game as long as possible so she can learn to be self-sufficient. After she gets voted out extremely early, he is dead-set on getting revenge on Lake for letting it happen.
- Pragmatic Villainy: While he still holds a grudge against Lake for voting Rosella out, he realizes that Eli is a bigger threat to him and votes him out instead... all while completely ruining Lake's game in the process.
- Third Time's The Charm: After faling short in his first outing and leaving early in his second, he finally makes it to the Final Tribal Council,
- Tranquil Fury: After he discovers that his daughter was voted out, he doesn't say a word. He just sits at camp looking angry. Naturally, his tribemates are unnerved by this.
- Villainous Friendship: With Bowser Junior.
- Villain Team-Up: With Thorne and Bowser Junior.
The Jury
Second Canon character from Super Mario Bros., and Bowser's son.
Came back for Season 20: Generations.
- Avenging the Villain: He doesn't take father's elimination well, and plays the game more aggressively in order to to get revenge on the people responsible for it and make his father proud.
- Bratty Half-Pint: Moreso as the game goes on.
- Daddy's Little Villain: He's trying to do well in the game to make his dad proud.
- The Dragon: He's this to Vinnie.
- Even Evil Has Loved Ones: He looks up to his father and always tries to make him proud. When his father gets voted out, he is dead set on getting revenge on the people (namely Angelo and Damon) who were responsible for it.
- Hidden Depths: He actually has pretty good instincts for the game, and notices a lot of things that his father didn't pick up on.
- Pint-Sized Powerhouse: The kid's a pretty strong competitor, and he's scored quite a few challenge wins.
- Stock "Yuck!": Like one would expect from a little kid, he dislikes vegetables.
- Villainous Friendship: Again, with Vinnie.
- Villainous Valor: He balks at the idea of throwing challenges.
Third Second Life fan character, and Tialayla's boyfriend.
- Apologises a Lot: Anytime he hurts someone, mostly because of his werewolf form, he does this.
- Berserk Button: Password saving systems.
- Butt-Monkey: He's shown failing in humiliating fashion during almost every challenge. He even loses a challenge because of a Goomba at one point.
- Contrived Coincidence: Unknowingly adopted by his biological father.
- Diabolus ex Machina: He would have survived the Final 5 vote if it hadn't taken place on a full moon.
- Dumb Muscle: Kopeii is far, far stronger and more aggressive than Riley, but he's also so dumb that he doesn't even understand the concept of writing.
- Expressive Ears
- Furry Reminder / Werewolves Are Dogs: He's an anthropomorphic wolf and his whimpering sounds like one, he sleeps like one, and on one occasion, Sierra throwing a coconut when he tries to talk strategy with her, and goes to fetch after it.
- Lovable Coward: He's very timid, Prone to Tears, and easily frightened, but he's also an absolute sweetheart and most of his more frightened moments are portrayed as endearing.
- Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy: With Tialayla.
- Nice Guy
- Non-Action Guy: He's reasonably smart and likable, but absolutely sucks at challenges.
- Our Werewolves Are Different: An anthropomorphic wolf who is also a werewolf. Has no control over the transformation.
- Prone to Tears: He's extremely sensitive.
- Really Fond of Sleeping: Is frequently seen taking naps around the camp.
- Sensitive Guy and Manly Man: The sensitive guy to Damon's manly man.
- Serious Business: Cards.
- Shrinking Violet: As the season's meekest player, he has a tendency to back down when confronted with bigger personalities.
- Spanner in the Works: And an unwilling one at that. A plan he made with the Staggs to eliminate Vinnie is derailed because it fell on a full moon, causing the unpredictable Kopeii to take control of the vote.
- Split Personality / Superpowered Evil Side: His werewolf form, Kopeii, is this.
- The Unintelligible: Kopeii's handwriting is impossible to decipher, mostly because he doesn't know what writing is.
- Wonderful Werewolf: Despite having a Superpowered Evil Side in Kopeii, Riley himself is very soft-spoken and kindhearted.
Returned from Season 14.
- Can't Hold Her Liquor
- Card-Carrying Villain: She makes no bones about playing a cold, cutthroat game.
- Dark Action Girl: On par with Tialayla as one of the season's strongest female competitors.
- Enemy Mine: Forms one with Brandi to take out Bonnie.
- Eye Scream: Dons an eyepatch due to injuries caused by Iyzebel's attack.
- The Friend Nobody Likes: At first, due to being a convicted murderer. Even when her tribemates aren't actively avoiding her, she isn't really friends with anyone.
- Gone Horribly Right: Her plan to irritate Iyzebel by needling her after Scott's elimination went off without a hitch... but Thorne didn't count on Iyzebel absolutely thrashing her as a result.
- Hidden Heart of Gold: She's actually trying to set up the game for Sierra to win and is willing to make herself look bad to the other castaways to draw potential jury votes away from her and towards her sister
- Kick the Dog: She has no qualms about eating Yoshi eggs.
- Pet the Dog: Gives Sierra an individual immunity that she won, leaving herself vulnerable.
- Sibling Yin-Yang: With Sierra.
- Villain Team-Up: With Vinnie.
Returned from Season 11.
- Action Girl: She can fight on par with Damon.
- Fanservice Pack: A few commenters have noticed that she seems a bit more... developed this season. It's likely a result of the improved sprite quality.
- Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy: With Riley.
- Not What It Looks Like: After Riley went missing for the night, she's caught dead holding a tied-up Riley. Bondage jokes ensued from the readers.
- Only Sane Woman: Consistently the most stable and rational member of whatever tribe she's on.
- That Came Out Wrong: Lampshaded by Tialayla herself. When confronted by Lake about what she was doing with Riley, she states "He was asking for it." What she meant was that Riley was not being forced into anything, but the specific phrasing makes it sound like Domestic Abuse.
- Took a Level in Cheerfulness: She seems to be enjoying herself more this time around, most likely because she isn't constantly on the verge of being eliminated.
- Violently Protective Girlfriend: Not quite violent, but she got pretty angry when Rosella insulted Riley and tried to throw him under the bus.
Returned from Season 13.
- Beware the Nice Ones: Damon is a Lovable Jock, but he was not afraid to call Lake out on his actions.
- Heterosexual Life-Partners; With Angelo.
- It's All My Fault: His reaction to Iyzebel's ejection.
- Nice Guy: Still the nicest mercenary you could ever hope to meet.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: During his confrontation with Lake.Damon: I'm sorry for swearing, but you suck.
- Odd Couple: Teams up with Riley due to being the last members of original Sarasa after the swap. Also because he wants to wrestle a werewolf. The two remain good allies.
- Papa Wolf: Towards Brandi, at least.
- The Pollyanna: He's still a big, muscular ray of sunshine.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Gives one to Lake, calling him out on being a selfish, terrible excuse for a father.
- Sensitive Guy and Manly Man: The manly man to Riley's sensitive guy.
- Those Two Guys: With Angelo.
- Would Hit a Girl: Provided they agree to a mutual sparring match first, of course.
Returned from Season 14.
- Darker and Edgier: He plans on playing a colder, more cutthroat game this time around. In the end, he couldn't quite pull it off.
- Happily Married: To Doris.
- Hypocrite: He proclaims that he's willing to do whatever it takes to protect his allies, but betrays Brandi in a revote.
- Out of Focus: Compared to how much of a main character he was on 14, Bradley is barely present his second time around, mostly just existing to set up his wife's winning game.
- Team Dad: For Kinopio.
Returned from Season 15.
- Cassandra Truth: Pulled on herself! Brandi realizes that Sarah's behavior makes sense only if she's secretly Bonnie and the other Bonnie was a fake. But because of her guessing wrong so frequently in Season 15, Brandi can't believe her own deductions.
- Enemy Mine: Forms one with Thorne to take out Bonnie.
- Freudian Excuse: With the way her dad is, it's not hard to see why she was so erratic in her original season.
- Heel–Face Turn: Between dealing with pressure from her dad and trying hard not to fall into the same pitfalls she did in her original season, she comes off looking a lot more sympathetic this time around.
- Oh, Crap!: When she realizes her father let Rosella get voted off, invalidating their deal with Vinnie.
- Redemption Quest: She genuinely wants to show that she's learned from her past mistakes. She succeeded, even though she didn't win.
- Took a Level in Badass: She's far, far savvier this time around.
Second Borderlands fan character, and Damon's best friend.
- Abhorrent Admirer: To Thorne.
- Amazon Chaser: He's attracted to strong women and not afraid to say it.
- Cool Shades: Perched in his hair.
- Heterosexual Life-Partners: With Damon.
- Keet: Just like his buddy.
- Murder Is the Best Solution: Angelo's go-to option for problems like failing Tamagotchis and crying children is "curb stomping." It's no wonder that his date with a single mother went poorly.
- No Indoor Voice
- Those Two Guys: With Damon.
- Too Much Information: Seemingly every other time he opens his mouth.
Eliminated
Second CSI: Miami fan character, and Brandi's father.
- Abusive Parents: Shows some pretty clear psychological abuse in his treatment of Brandi.
- Break the Haughty: After Damon verbally eviscerates him for being a horrible father, Lake's ego is left completely destroyed and he finally realizes how poorly he treated Brandi.
- Control Freak: If everything's not going exactly the way he wants it to, he gets angry.
- Defective Detective: His overinflated ego and poor relationship with his daughter qualify him for this trope.
- Foil: To Vinnie. Lake may be on the side of the law, but he treats his daughter pretty badly and overestimates his own intelligence. Meanwhile, Vinnie is a gangster who is a genuine Papa Wolf and genius strategist.
- Heel Realization: After catching an earful from Damon.
- Hypocrite: He gets on Brandi's case for being paranoid and jumping to conclusions, but he's just as guilty of those faults.
- Jerkass
- Last-Name Basis
- Smug Snake: He believes that he has the whole game in the palm of his hand. In actuality, he's a powerless pawn that everyone barely tolerates. He doesn't even make the merge.
- Too Dumb to Live: Voting out a gangster's daughter despite promising to keep her safe, then insulting said daughter to the same gangster's face after the fact? Lake's lucky that Vinnie didn't literally backstab him.
- Unknown Rival: Vinnie absolutely despises him and wants to take him down painfully. Lake realizes none of this and believes that they're tight allies.
- Was Too Hard on Her: After Damon brutally chastises Lake for how he treated his daughter, he finally admits that he was too critical of Brandi.
Returned from Season 11.
- Ascended Fanboy: Even more than in his original season, because now he's playing with some of his favorite players. He's doing a better job of keeping a lid on it this time around, though.
- Graceful Loser: He's actually totally psyched to get eliminated because he finally gets to have his torch snuffed and go to Ponderosa.
- Hoist by His Own Petard: Vinnie took the editing narrative away from him, meaning that he couldn't see a potential blindside against him coming.
- In the Blood: It turns out that everyone in his family is obsessed with specific television shows to the point of precognitive abilities, just like how he is with Survivor.
- Out of Focus: Deliberately tries to invoke this in order to avoid getting a threatening edit. Too bad he's naturally talkative and keeps giving confessionals...
- With Catlike Tread: His loud nature causes a strategy session with Cassidy to be overheard by the opposing alliance.
Second Barbie fan character and Bonnie's therapist. Actually, she's Bonnie herself under a fake identity.
- Big Bad Wannabe: She wanted to manipulate her way to the end and ruin a few lives in the process, but her tribemates were too smart to fall for her act this time.
- Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Because she's Bonnie.
- Disc-One Final Boss: She doesn't even reach the halfway point this time, much less the finale.
- Distinguishing Mark: Has back tattoos that would reveal her identity, so has been careful to hide them; her refusal to let Bradley check arouses his suspicions.
- History Repeats: Once again, Bonnie disguises herself as a Nice Girl.
- Manipulative Bitch: Unsurprising, since she's Bonnie.
- Meaningful Name: Bonnie and Clydia.
- Paper-Thin Disguise: Within two rounds of the swap, everyone on Galaxie with the exception of Bradley has deduced her real identity.
- Pink Is Feminine: Her outfit is mostly pink. Just like Bonnie's last disguise.
- Politically Incorrect Villain: Par for the course for Bonnie. When she gets eliminated, she complains that she can't use any racial slurs because all of her tribemates are white.
- Sore Loser: She storms off once she realizes Bradley isn't saving her, cursing everyone out and flipping them off.
- Villainous Breakdown: When she realizes she's being voted out.
- Walking Spoiler: As the rest of this entry will tell you, she's Bonnie.
Returned from Season 12: Fans VS Canons.
- Accidental Hero: What has the evil King of the Koopa Empire himself been doing? Actually being somewhat the Team Dad of the team by guiding his tribe through the Mario world, learning how to align with actual people not named or similar to Enter, and scaring away Rosella from bothering anyone else with her swear-filled complaints, being the powerhouse for Sarasa's challenges, and teaming up with Damon of all people. Needless to say, he is not happy about this.
- Even Evil Has Standards: He's loud and proud of being a bad guy, but watching Lake's treatment of Brandi makes him uncomfortable.
- He also tries to "reclaim his status as a villain" against Iyzebel, but only ends up getting out-villained by an annoyed Iyzebel's swear-filled rant.
- Graceful Loser: Surprisingly so. Although he is angry about his elimination, he admits that he isn't very good at Survivor and encourages his son to continue on in his stead.
- Papa Wolf: During Iyzebel's rampage, he can be seen standing protectively in front of Junior.
- Super-Strength: He managed to carry a barrel meant for four people all by himself.
Second Bad Girls Club fan character, and Iyzebel's fiancee.
- He Knows Too Much: Bonnie took him out because she feared he would catch on to her true identity.
- Hidden Depths: Once separated from Iyzebel, starts showing competence in challenges and realizes that Sarah is putting on an act to appear less capable than she really is. As of Chapter 4, he has not figured out that she's Bonnie. This comes back to bite him when she blindsides Scott in the tribal council.
- Jerk Jock: Athletic and definitely not a nice guy.
- Let's You and Him Fight: Tries to manipulate Brandi and Thorne into a feud. We also learn that this is something he does to amuse himself in his regular job as a bartender.
- Sacrificial Lion: The first competent character eliminated, and taken out to show that Bonnie's manipulation skills are still there.
- Slap-Slap-Kiss: With Iyzebel.
Second Grand Theft Auto fan character, and Vinnie's daughter.
- Daddy's Girl: She's completely spoiled and has no idea how to live without her parents' support. As soon as she and Vinnie are split up, she is voted out unanimously.
- Flat Character: Despite hints that she would receive Character Development, she is ultimately this.
- Jerkass: She's unpleasant to everyone aside from her father.
- The Load: Hates doing work and slacks off in challenges. This leads to her elimination.
- Never My Fault: Blames Riley for losing a challenge when she didn't even try to help.
- Spoiled Brat: She complains about the camp, nature, and, well... everything.
- Valley Girl
- Verbal Tic: A drawn-out "Oh my god".
- Womanchild: She's in her 20s, but she's on the same maturity level as Bowser Jr.
Second Survivor: Fan Characters fan character, and Eli's cousin.
- Ascended Fangirl: Just like Eli, although she's not as hardcore a fan as he is.
- The Ditz: She has no idea how to put together a decent strategy.
- Genki Girl
- Nice Girl: Generally friendly to everyone.
- Parody: Of casual Survivor fans.
Returned from Season 9 and Season 10: Battle of the Tribes. Actually an actress hired by Bonnie.
- Diminishing Villain Threat: Compared to her previous seasons. No one wants to work with her because they all know her shtick, and she has no power at all as a result. But then again, Clydia wasn't playing to win in the first place.
- Distinguishing Mark: It's the lack of one that's a tipoff, she doesn't have Bonnie's back tattoos.
- Flat Character: All of her scenes involve her being a grumpy Jerkass that everybody hates.
- The Friend Nobody Likes: Everybody wants her gone as soon as possible.
- No Name Given: Word of God says it’s Clydia.
- Starter Villain: That's what Bonnie wanted everyone to think.
- Walking Spoiler: For one thing, she's not even Bonnie.
Ejected From The Game
Returned from Season 13.
- Even Evil Has Standards: She may be foul-mouthed and ill-tempered, but even she doesn't want to hang out with a racist like Bonnie.
- Hair-Trigger Temper: Her temper's even hotter here than it was in her original season.
- Lady Swears-a-Lot
- Non-Gameplay Elimination: She gets ejected for beating up multiple castaways during a reward challenge.
- Slap-Slap-Kiss: With Scott.
- Unstoppable Rage: After being sufficiently provoked by Thorne, her ensuing wrath is enough to take out Thorne, Damon, Angelo, Lake, and P. Bear!
