Here is the list of characters in Sailor Moon Abridged.

    open/close all folders

Heroes (we think)

    The Bitchez in general
  • Alternative Character Interpretation: In-universe. To the characters in the actual show. Serena is a Too Dumb to Live bulimic comedic sociopath instead of the Genius Ditz, The Pollyanna, and The Hero rolled into one. Raye is a whole bunch of goth, emo, junkie, and satanist stereotypes rolled into one instead of a wannabe temple priestess who takes everything she does seriously. Lita is a girl who used to be a man rather than an Action Girl trying to be more feminine. Amy is a book smart Butt-Monkey rather than the shy, quiet, book smart voice of reason. Mina is a Valley Girl prostitute rather than a slightly ditzier, yet ultimately caring version of Serena.
  • Calling Your Attacks: Mina and Lita have both noted that bitnote .
    Mina: Venus Anal Beads Vaginate!
Lita: Whoa! What the hell did you just say, yo?! I thought it was 'Venus Love Chain Encircle'!
Mina: Duh! I totally figured out that you can say anything you want, and it still works!
Lita: How did you figure that out?
Mina: 'Cause I can never remember what the hell to say.
Lita: Hell yeah, let me try! Jupiter Hoe-Slap Nipple Shocker!
  • Catch-Phrase Spouting Duo: Amy and Raye get this at times.
    Amy: But Molly, he's evil!
Raye: AND NOT THE GOOD KIND!
  • Leitmotif: For the girls' transformation sequences.
  • My Friends... and Zoidberg: My Friends And Amy.
  • Power of Friendship:
Serena: Now that I'm here without you, I realize how much you all really meant to me. Even Amy. I can't... I can't do this without you! Guys... my friends... Ah, forget it, this is *honk*ing boring. HAAAAAAAA!!!
  • The Team: The Scouts and their allies would fit typical Five-Man Band roles, but they are all women making Mina's role as the action girl slightly different (she is the most girly, but not the only girl). Regardless, they fight together as a unit and refer to themselves as a team.
Lita: We're totally a full-fledged team now, yo!
Amy: Why are we now a team? Were we waiting for a fifth person for some time?
    Raye: Shut up, Amy.
Amy: No, really, why is this a team? We have four planets, and a moon. What about the other planets-
    Raye: SHUT! UP! AMY!
  • This Is for Emphasis, Bitch!:
    • "I'm Sailor Venus, bitches!"
    • "I'm Sailor Mars, bitch!"
    • In Episode 46/47, Lita adds a "Bitch!" to the end of her German transformation phrase.
  • Transformation Sequence: Parodied, lampshaded and accompanied by on-the-nose music for each of the Sailor Scouts.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: Raye with the rest of the cast, mainly Serena.
Serena: You've been such a good friend...
Raye: I'M COUNTING DOWN THE DAYS TIL YOU'RE DEAD.
    • Or this:
Raye: SERENA, YOU FAIL AT BEING A SUPERHERO. YOU FAIL AT HAVING AN IQ HIGHER THAN AN INFANT! AND YOU FAIL AT WEARING A MINISKIRT, FATASS!
    • Or this little number from Episode 31:
Raye: DON'T WORRY, SAILOR MOON. WE'LL ALWAYS BE RIGHT BEHIND YOU.
      Serena: Thanks!
      Raye: WITH A KNIFE.
      Serena: Oh.
      Raye: TO STAB YOU.
      Serena: I get it.
      Raye: AND TWIST IT!
      Serena: Okay.
      Raye: I HATE YOU!!!
      Serena: Thanks, Raye!

Sorry, Molly, but if I'm not eating I'm leaving.

The Heroine of the series. Serena is a fat, bulimic, stupid young girl. One day, she meets a space cat named Luna, and becomes the super-hero Sailor Moon. She tries to use her powers to fight the evil Negaverse, but usually ends up being saved by Tuxedo Mask.

  • All Girls Want Bad Boys: Notably averted. She hates Darian for being such a jerk to her and unlike the canon series, she doesn't develop any Belligerent Sexual Tension with him. By contrast, she likes Andrew and Tuxedo Mask (and Alan), who don't treat her like garbage. (Mostly.)
  • Ambiguously Bi: Despite falling for every hot guy she meets, she would also "go lesbian for [Raye]" and openly ogles Sailor Venus when she first meets them (though she quickly loses interest when she learns what their personalities are like), and remarks that Lita's fake breast "feels nice" when the latter is carrying her.
  • Anti-Hero: Classical Anti-Hero - the kind where she's flawed, a coward, and lacking in the both the departments of brains and combat.
  • Big Eater: Just like in the canon series. She is constantly the butt of fat jokes.
  • Catchphrase: "No promises."
  • Character Development: YES!! Even in a Abridged series like this! ...In season one, Serena took 30 episodes to realize Darien and Tuxedo Mask were the same person, despite receiving her share of obvious hints ("Hmm. He was in a tuxedo with his eyes covered. That's not reminiscent of anyone else I know!"). In the second season, Serena figured out the Moonlight Knight was really Darien right when he first saved her, simply because he threw a white rose. (It's possible she also noticed his eyes looked similar to Darien's)
    • In the unofficial Sailor Moon R sequel she embraces the idea of becoming Neo Queen Serenity in the future and making Tuxedo Mask and the Sailor Scouts immortal, after they died at the end of Season 1. Too bad nobody is too thrilled to be with her forever, Darien included.
  • Cloud Cuckoolander: She has her moments.
"No, a small rabbit just appeared next to my head!"
  • The Ditz: Oh boy.
  • Dumb Blonde: Played extremely straight.
    {notices Darien is hurt rather badly, after he insists he's fine}
    Serena: Not serious? As if! I got a C+ in First-Aid! I can tell. {Actual dialogue in the English dub}
Darien: I thought that class was pass-or-fail.
Serena: Oh. Maybe the C was an F. I have trouble with the alphabet sometimes.
  • Everyone Has Standards: Selfish and insensitive bitch that she is, even Serena found Melvin's "dead boyfriend" jokes directed at Molly to be in poor taste. At first.
  • Extreme Omnivore: Serena's digestive system does not discriminate. She has expressed the desire to eat, among other things, diamonds, wristwatches, Negaverse dust, and a small child.
"It wasn't dust, It was powdered sugar!"
    • She refused to eat "complimentary soap" once, though.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: Starts off as this before Amy's Flanderization. The girls often bonded over making fun of her.
  • Food Porn: Serena has a very romantic dream.
Tuxedo Mask: Hey Serena. Lets go get an ice cream sundae. With LOTS of preservatives...
    Serena: Oh, that's so romantic!
  • Girlish Pigtails: The classic Sailor Moon look, because, well...
  • Green-Eyed Epiphany: Subverted hilariously when Raye starts dating Darian, whom Serena hates. Serena acts jealous and wants to break them up, until:
Luna: I thought you hated Darian?
Serena: That's Darian? I thought he was Tuxedo Mask. *honk* it, I don't care then.
  • The Heroine: We think.
  • Hypocritical Humor: In the unofficial Sailor Moon R sequel she thinks Rini's hair is "stupid-looking".
  • Idiot Hero: Even moreso than in the original.
  • I'm a Humanitarian: Serena becomes so hungry in one episode that she says she could eat a little boy. This sounds like a figure of speech until one walks past her and she actually does try to eat him.
  • Informed Attribute: She's the FATASS of the group, even though she looks as skinny as the rest.
  • Heavy Sleeper: She's constantly late for school.
  • Knight in Sour Armor: Hates the Sailor Moon gig enough to pretend to have memory loss to get out of it.
  • Leitmotif: Her first transformation sequence, "Barbie Girl" by Aqua.
    • SMA Remix: "Hungry Hippo" by Parry Gripp;
      "Oh, *honk* you, SMA!"
    • Movie (and Season 2 Episode 45 - Present): "Candy Store" by Hyper Crush
    • Disguise Pen - "Sexyback" by Justin Timberlake.
  • Let's Get Dangerous!: "Did someone say pizza?!
  • Maddened Into Misanthropy: Not that she was the nicest girl to begin with, but getting picked on by her friends and family all the time doesn't exactly make her want to help them. In episode 11, the one time she notes that Good Feels Good after helping Molly's Remember the New Guy? Childhood Friend, she gets whacked in the face with a ball and they both make fun of her.
Serena: I'm starting to see why Raye hates everyone.
  • Mundane Utility: As Neo Queen Serenity she uses the Moon Crystal to lose weight. Endymion is actually happy of this, as she doesn't smell like vomit anymore.
  • No Good Deed Goes Unpunished: She sent pizza to the prisoners of Nemesis so they could eat good food. Too bad Wiseman is alergic and plots to kill her as revenge.
  • Noodle Incident: The pool party mishap that ruined Serena's bathing suit.
  • Obfuscating Stupidity: In episode 41. Turns out Serena didn't lose all her memories, she was just pretending to not remember because "this Sailor Moon gig sucks!"
  • Operation: Jealousy: Pretends to date Melvin in an attempt to make Darian (who is dating Raye at the time) jealous. It goes about as well as you'd expect.
  • Orgasmically Delicious: Serena orgasms while eating donuts with creme filling, and later again while licking a vanilla ice cream cone.
  • Power Makes Your Voice Deep: Her Moon Princess transformation drops her shrill voice and hysterical attitude, leaving her with calmer snark.
  • Running Gag: When she is the Moon Princess, she constantly mentions her pizza she never got.
  • Shell-Shocked Veteran: The first episode of season 2 reveals that instead of having her memories wiped at the end of season 1, she chose to not mention it because she hated the whole experience.
  • Shipper on Deck: To Amy and Greg in Episode 23, though it's probably because she knows Amy hates him.
    • She also ships Raye with Chad in episode 25, though it's mostly to break up Raye and Damien's relationship.
    • She also ships Melvin and Molly in episode 28, and this time it doesn't seem to be for any motive than to see them together.
  • Something Only They Would Say: What makes Prince Diamond to convince himself he was tricked by Wiseman: Serena would never waste food on prisoners.
Prince Diamond: You sent poisoned food to the prisoners of Nemesis!
Serena: That's not true! I love food too much to waste it like that!
  • Stupidly Long Filler Sound: Megami has Serena, whose character was flanderized to a ditz with an eating disorder, utter exaggerated "uh"s.
  • You Are Fat: Serena's bulimia and obesity form running gags for the series.
  • Your Mom: In the unofficial Sailor Moon R sequel she often makes fun at Rini's mom for eating too much and naming her Small Lady. Then she finds out at the end of the series it's herself.
Serena: Her name is Small Lady?! Who's the retard that named her like that?
    Sailor Pluto: Uhhh.....

    Amy/Sailor Mercury

Voiced By: KrisRix (Main SMA Series), Megami33 (Remix Episode)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sma_sailor_mercury_1124.jpg

You guys never listen to me anyway!

The Smart Girl (at first). Amy is a Shy Blue-Haired Girl who becomes Sailor Mercury after an incident with the Negaverse.

  • Adaptational Badass: In the unofficial Sailor Moon R sequel, while still being weak and useless, she has a talent for gaslighting. Also, she's a talented chess player to the point Rini rips off her Cornered Rattlesnake techniques when she becomes Black Lady.
  • Blessed with Suck: Constantly lampshaded every time Amy uses her totally useless power.
    • Even Amy was surprised after the one time it actually did something useful.
  • Berserk Button: Don't hurt children while you're around Amy.
  • Break Them by Talking: She's actually very good at this when she tries, such as manipulating Bertie to turn to the side of good by sheer gaslighting or convincing Serena to force Prince Diamond to do a Motive Rant, which causes him to realize he's been manipulated by Wiseman.
  • Captain Obvious:
    (while trapped in Malachite's dome)
Amy: Wait a second guys! I just realized that he was using a fake Sailor Scout to trick us!
    Raye: YOU'RE *honk*ING BRILLIANT, AMY!
Serena: And you guys think I'm the stupid one!
  • Catchphrase: Amy's "Aww" whenever she's disappointed.
  • Characterization Marches On: She started out as a shy, quiet, intelligent girl in the first couple of episodes, like she was in the actual show. Over time, her voice shifted and she became nearly as much of a dumbass as everyone else, with special talent in stating the obvious.
  • Curtains Match the Window: And if what Raye said in Episode 50 is anything to go by, it also matches the carpet.
  • The Ditz: They portray her that sometimes just for fun.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: Evolves into this post-Flanderization.
Lita: Amy! What're you doin' in my spot light?
    Amy: Mine didn't turn on.
Lita: That's because we HATE you!
    Amy: Aww.
    • Things have not improved for her at all in the unnoficial Sailor Moon R sequel.
Black Lady: I'll start by killing the most annoying of the group.
Raye: Look out, she's coming for Mercury!
    Amy: Fuck you, Mars.
  • Freudian Excuse: Episode 23 reveals that giving her friend Greg a motivational speech during their Harvard entrance exam, when she shouldn't be talking, got her an automatic fail. "And from that moment on, she never spoke loudly again."
  • Heart Is an Awesome Power: Managed to destroy a bad guy all by herself by using freezing bubbles. Unfortunately, nobody witnessed and the Moonlight Knight claimed to be the one defeating the monster.
  • Inferiority Superiority Complex: The unnoficial Sailor Moon R sequel reveals she studies in order to feel herself superior to everyone else. And Raye calls her a monster for that.
  • Leitmotif: Amy's first transformation sequence, "Ice Ice Baby" by Vanilla Ice.
    • SMA Remix: "Blue (Da Ba Dee)" by Eiffel 65;
    • Movie (and Season 2): "Don't Trust Me" by 3OH!3.
  • The Load: Constantly lampshaded by the other members of the team and by Nephlite at one point.
    • When a group from the Negaverse attacks, and one of these Negaversers ends up being laughably ineffective, Sailor Moon quips, "You must be the Mercury of the group."
  • Odd Friendship: With Raye in early season one. Shy, quiet, intelligent Amy with loud, bombastic, Satan-worshiping Raye.
  • Pet the Dog: She takes Bertie in her wing after the latter is purified by Sailor Moon. Mostly because she's the only one who treats her with respect.
  • Phrase Catcher: "Shut up, Amy!"
  • Pokémon Speak: Amy got this for the Remix one-shot episode, saying nothing but "Blue!"
  • Running Gag: No one ever hears her.
  • Shy Blue-Haired Girl: Well at the start, at least.
  • The Smart Girl: At first.
  • Tareme Eyes
  • Those Two Guys: With Raye in Season 1. Whenever the two didn't appear much in an episode, it would be revealed that they were getting high together.
  • Token Good Teammate: The most moral of the group, who also happens to be the least effectual and constantly stepped on by the others.
  • Took a Level in Dumbass: Amy starts out as a genius nerd who thinks too much, more of a Straight Man to Serena's idiocy, whose main shtick is that her voice is such a whisper that no-one can hear her and her powers are useless in combat. As the series goes on, she gets increasingly stupid (especially when Lita joins and becomes the Straight Man), usually invoking Captain Obvious and her voice shifts to a normal-volume sort of warbling falsetto.
  • Took a Level in Jerkass: In the unnoficial Sailor Moon R sequel. Mostly because she's fed up with everyone mistreating her.
  • Useless Useful Spell: Mercury's invoked"Useless Attack Blast". Mercilessly Lampshaded - The one or two times it actually accomplished something, no one could believe it.
    • More often, it just ends up obscuring vision, negatively affecting everyone. And when it's used during the flashback to the attack on the moon kingdom:
Crowd: I can't see anything! Where's the exit? All this fog - we're gonna die!
      Raye: MARS FIRE IGNITE!
Amy: Mars, why did you light them on fire?!
      Raye: I CAN'T SEE!
  • Vocal Evolution: She plays this straight. When she started out, her voice was quiet and kind of cute, and characters often mentioned they couldn't understand her. As the series progressed, her voice gradually changed to a squawky falsetto and she spoke much more dramatically… and the other characters could usually understand her perfectly.
  • What Kind of Lame Power Is Heart, Anyway?: Her useless bubbles attack.

    Raye/Sailor Mars

Voiced By: KrisRix

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sma_sailor_mars_8402.jpg

I LOVE THE SCREAMS OF CHILDREN!!!

A violent, masochistic emo/goth/punk/satanist, Raye is Sailor Mars.

  • Anti-Hero: Nominal Hero; she's a villain pointed in the right direction
  • Axe-Crazy: One of many things to love about Raye.
  • Bad People Abuse Animals: Apparently she likes to torture her stuffed animals and put stuffed red cotton on them to make "more realistic tortures".
  • Berserk Button: Any time Mina opens her mouth, Raye becomes even more explosively angry than usual.
  • Birds of a Feather: Ends up bonding with Catzi because both like to torture stuffed toys. Man, she even converted her to Satanism!
  • Character Exaggeration: Remember in the original series' Mileage Varies tab that the DiC dub often portrayed her in a negative light? In this series, she's as negative as negative can be.
  • Combat Sadomasochist: On more than one occasion. Example: Her orgasmic moaning after being bitten by a snake in Episode 8.
  • Corrupt Corporate Executive: Of Ark Music Factory. Yeah...
"I'M MAKING LOADS OF MONEY OFF THIS REBECCA BLACK CHICK!"
  • Cuteness Proximity: Raye absolutely adores Rini and likes to dote on her. She gets really excited when Rini does something sociopathic and manipulative.
  • Even the Girls Want Her: Serena... until she gets to know her. Raye has a lesbian posse at her school.
  • Glowing Eyes of Doom: Raye is portrayed to have such eyes in the SMA Xmas video.
  • Goth: May not actually be one, but Serena did address her as one once in the eighth episode.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: Even more so than in the original.
  • Heroic Comedic Sociopath: And she's only heroic because she's being pointed towards the Negaverse.
  • Hot-Blooded: Duh.
  • Hollywood Satanism: Oh, very.
  • Kaiju: According to Prince Endymion she becomes one in the future.
Endymion: (seeing the dragon Emerald approacing them) Do you guys know any dragon-morphing humans? Cause that's definitely one.
Raye: I wonder how does it feel to become a monster.
Endymion: It'll happen, in the future you'll become a garuda and destroy Australia.
    Raye: Sweet!
    Serena: Nooo! Not the koalas!
  • Leitmotif: Raye's first transformation sequence, "We Be Burnin" by Sean Paul.
    • SMA Remix: "Disco Inferno" by The Trammps;
      • Movie (and Season 2): "Fire Burning" by Sean Kingston.
  • Loves the Sound of Screaming: Did you see her quote at the top of this section??
  • Maddened Into Misanthropy: Implied in a Sailor Moon Sayz segment. When Serena brings up how much it sucks when your boyfriend dies, Raye quips that that's why you should sell your soul to Satan so you can never feel that kind of pain again. Confirmed in Episode 15 of the unofficial Sailor Moon R sequel.
Raye: (after the Sailor Scouts are transported to a gray dull dimension) Can we stay here forever?
Lita: Why? Does it remind you of your childhood?
    Raye: ....How did you know?
    Lita: I connected the dots.
  • Money Fetish: Shown in one episode.
Raye: {to Chad} Let's have sex. No, really. Right now. Forget about the skiing and skin-piercing hail. I want to have sex with you on a bed of money.
  • Nightmare Fetishist: Oh, where to start?
  • No Indoor Voice: Dear. Lord. There's a reason most of her quotes are written in all caps.
    • In one episode, she gets sick, and speaks at a relatively normal volume. Lampshaded by Amy.
Raye: I just sound so funny when I'm sick.
Amy: Y-you sure do. My eardrums are still intact!
  • Odd Friendship: With Amy in early season one (before the latter's Flanderization into The Friend Nobody Likes). Shy, quiet, intelligent Amy with loud, bombastic, Satan-worshiping Raye.
  • Red Eyes Of Doom: In the Christmas video.
  • Pet the Dog: Raye is still a jerkass, but she's much nicer towards Rini. She also helps Catzi to accept her inner sadistic side....by convincing her to become a satanist.
  • Running Gag: Raye's masochism and worship of Satan.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: She gets more of her dialogue *honk*'d than anyone else.
  • Skewed Priorities: Cardian attacking while she's at the movies? "*HONK* THAT NOISE! I PAID $10.50 FOR THIS MOVIE, I'M STAYING!"
    • And later on:
(After the Cardian gets away) "SO HOW ABOUT THAT MOVIE?"
  • The Stoner: Makes references to marijuana use in the abridged movie, and heroin/acid usage in several episodes.
  • Therapy Is for the Weak:
Amy: Seriously Raye, how about that therapy?
Raye: THERAPY IS FOR THE WEAK! MY GOD DOESN'T ACCEPT QUITTERS!
  • There Are No Therapists: Averted. Serena and Amy both suggest Raye get therapy when they meet her.
  • Those Two Guys: With Amy in Season 1. Whenever the two didn't appear much in an episode, it would be revealed that they were getting high together.
  • Token Evil Teammate: Satanic to boot.
  • Too Kinky to Torture: She enjoys both enemy attacks, dying, and being in Hell afterwards. For example, when she captured by Rubeus and put in a cross, she's moaning in pleasure.
  • Tsurime Eyes
  • Villain Protagonist: None of the protagonists are exactly good guys, but Raye is unrepentantly evil.
  • Vocal Evolution: In early episodes, KrisRix would just scream out all of Raye's dialogue. Later episodes have her voice be loud and harsh, but she doesn't actually scream unless she's particularly incensed... which is often.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: In Episode 38, Sailor Mars stole Sailor Moon's wand while the latter is being choked by Ninjana (Monster of the Week). Sailor Mercury found it so heinous, her falsetto voice dropped by an octave.
Amy: Out of all the things you done, Raye, this is the most *honk*ed up.

    Lita/Leo/Sailor Jupiter

Voiced By: Roll002 (Episodes 21-24/25, 28-Present), Judgement915 (Episode 26/27)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sma_sailor_jupiter_1686.jpg

Am I the only one who thinks it's weird that we take orders from a talking cat?

  • The Big Girl
  • Berserk Button: Don't call her a tranny. Emerald learned it the hard way.
  • Crossdressing Voices: Out-of-Universe, of course. In-Universe, it's a bit more complicated.
  • Everything's Sparkly with Jewelry: Leo/Lita wears rose earrings.
  • Even the Girls Want Her: After she kills the dragon Emerald, all the girls (except Mina, who's distracted) are gushing about how cool she is.
Serena: Yeah! Hail Dragon Slayer Lita!
    Amy: Ohh, Lita...
Raye: HOLY SATAN, THAT'S SO FUCKING HOT!
  • Fake Boobs: Maybe.
  • Incompatible Orientation: Gets cranky during the ski episode when she finds out the hot female ski instructor is straight.
    • She also hesitates to approach men she likes since she's pre-op.
  • Jive Turkey: If the 'yo' at the end of her sentences are of any indication.
Lita: Peace out, home skillet biscuit dizzle slices!
Lita: Zeus! Why have you forsaken me, homey?!
  • Leitmotif: Lita's first transformation sequence, "The Church of Hot Addiction" by Cobra Starship.
    • SMA Remix: "Electric Boogie" by Marcia Griffiths;
      • Movie (and Season 2): "Somebody Told Me" by The Killers (Josh Harris Club Remix).
  • Odd Friendship: Develops one with Mina in the unofficial Sailor Moon R sequel.
  • Only Sane Man: Took this role from Amy.
  • Running Gag:
    • Several times she's said of a guy, "He looks just like me when I was a dude!"
    • She keeps trying to get laid, but always ends up failing for one reason or another.
  • Screw Yourself: Downplayed. Most men she's attracted to are men who look "just like me when I was a dude!"

    Mina/Sailor Venus

Voiced By: KrisRix

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sma_sailor_venus_8611.jpg

I am, like, so totally happy to meet you guys. Like, whoa, aren't you guys happy to meet me? Like, you should totally be happy to meet me.

The last member to join the group. The best way to describe her is if Paris Hilton was a Super-heroine.

  • Adaptational Badass: In the Sailor Moon R unofficial sequel. While still dumb as a sack of bricks, she's able to kick ass and giving murder threats all while not dropping cheerful demeanor. Well, she was Sailor V after all...
  • Beware the Silly Ones: In the Sailor Moon R unofficial sequel she can be surprisingly perceptive and sometimes even dangerous, to the point Rini is afraid of her. She's implied to kill Alan and Ann offscreen and when Rini turns into Black Lady, she's very eager about trying to kill the girl, which is something not even Raye would do.
Amy *reading a letter*: "If you leave the Sailor Scouts, I'll catch you like the little bitch you are and make you regret you were reborn", huh....How sweet of you, Raye.
    Rini: That's not from Raye.
    Amy: Huh?
    Rini: That's from Mina.
*cue Amy's horrified face as the sound of Mina laughing psychotically is heard*
  • Brainless Beauty: Emphasis on "brainless". For example, when she confuses a thermometer for a pregnancy test.
Mina: (after taking Serena's temperature) Whaat, 37 pregnancies? Rini, your stick doesn't work!
  • Brilliant, but Lazy: Implied in the Sailor Moon R unofficial sequel. She is likely smarter and more perceptive than all the Sailor Scouts (due to being on the job longer than them), but she has no real ambition or long-term plans; on the rare occasion she does act it's usually For the Lulz.
  • Captain Obvious: One of Mina's very few contributions to the team.
Mina: Oh. My. God, it's Tuxedo Mask!
Raye: WOW. THANKS, VENUS. HELPFUL. REALLY.
    • Lampshaded Episode 31:
Mina: I, like, point out the obvious over and over again!
  • Catchphrase: Says "giggle!" at the end of her statement, once in a while.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: She tends to say rather odd things and acts like she's barely paying attention to the topic at hand when speaking to other characters. However, the Sailor Moon R unofficial sequel implies that she's really an example of Obfuscating Stupidity and she's figured out what's going on before anyone else.
  • Dumb Blonde: "I'm not blonde, I'm just dumb! Oh, wait..."
    • Since she shares this trait with Serena, Raye lampshades this at the end of Mina's introductory episode.
"OH GOD, THERE'S TWO OF THEM!"'
  • Everything's Better with Sparkles: "Well I was looking at this bug and its wings were all, like, iridescent, and it reminded me of glitter and I *honk*ing love glitter! I wish I like, PISSED glitter!!"
  • Global Ignorance: During the opening of Promise of the Lost Rose, Mina mistakes Tokyo Tower for the Eiffel Tower, remarks that she thought the Eiffel Tower was from New Zealand, and asks if she and the other Sailor Scouts live in Korea.
    • In the unofficial Sailor Moon R sequel she thinks Nagoya is in the UK.
Mina: And there was this guy who was like a ripoff Darien, but better cause he was, like, foreigner.
    Serena: Where was he from?
    Mina: From Nagoya, I think?
    Serena: Mina, that's not....
Artemis: Shh! Don't ruin her dreams!
  • Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: Invoked because she really likes boasting of her beauty.
Mina: Helloooo! Like, look at my flowing, long locks! Aren't you excited? Guys, you don't look excited, you should TOTALLY be excited!
  • Igpay Atinlay: Mina-ay is not clear-ay on the concept-ay.
  • Leitmotif: Her first transformation sequence (only used once), "Wanna Do Your Makeup" by Scotty Vanity.
    • SMA Remix: "Venus" by Bananarama;
      • Movie (and Season 2): "LoveGame" by Lady Gaga.
  • Really Gets Around: "I have enough seeds to last a lifetime!"
  • Running Gag: Mentioning her promiscuity. Also, she can never remember the name of her attack.
  • Simpleton Voice: A stereotypical-as-you-can-get Valley Girl one.
  • Something Only They Would Say: When Amy gets brainwashed by the Monster of the Week, she sees illusions of her friends ridiculing her, including a smarter Mina who berates her for not knowing about binary codes. She gets off the mind control inmediately.
Monster: How were you able to see past my illusions?!
    Amy: Venus, spell "binary".
    Mina: B-I-N-A-Bow-chicka-bow-wow! ...Binary.
    Monster: Oh.
  • Too Kinky to Torture: She qualifies as this.
Mina: There's tentacles everywhere! It's like a dream come true!
    • And when they join forces:
Mina: This isn't what being molested feels like!
    Raye: THIS IS EVEN BETTER!
  • Totally Radical: As a nod to the original series.
Mina: Okay, guys, this is the episode where I use as much 90's teen lingo as I can! So here's the buzz!
    (Beat)
Raye: WHO THE F*honk*K GAVE HER THE RIGHT TO DO THE INTRO?!
Mina: And here's the real kicker: I'm NOT the Moon Princess! Like even! OMGWTFBBQSQUIDFACE!
Raye: OH MY GOD, KILL ME, PLEASE!!
  • Valley Girl: "Oh my Buddha. Okay?! OMB."
  • Would Hurt a Child: After Rini has been transformed into Black Lady by Wiseman, the Sailor Scouts (even Raye) don't have the heart to attack her....except Mina, who's actually very eager to kill her.

    Luna

Voiced By: Megami33

I can't take it anymore! All the girl talks about is food, food, food!

Serena's long-suffering cat mentor.

  • Ass Shove: All those devices the scouts get (transformation pens, Serena's locket, the communicators, etc) are kept in Luna's butt until needed. Or until she manages to finally poop them out.
  • The Conscience: Of the Sailors, especially Serena. Often, Serena faces the bad guy and/or saves her friends just to get Luna to stop nagging her.
  • Deadpan Snarker: It's all she can do in the face of all the stupidity surrounding her.
  • Fake Brit:invoked Just like in the original dub.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: Luna's reaction after succumbing to Artemis' advances, and two seasons later when Diana shows up.
  • Not So Above It All: She does occasionally delve into their antics; such as getting stoned while watching the stars with Serena.
  • Once Done, Never Forgotten: The Sailors needed a few episodes to start trusting Luna's hunches about evil activities again after her hunch about Amy working for the Negaverse was disproved.
  • Only Sane Man: Is in charge of giving out exposition and at least trying to point the scouts in the right direction.
  • Sarcastic Devotee: To all the scouts, but especially to Serena.
  • Surrounded by Idiots: Oh, so very much!

    Artemis

Voiced By Judgement915

You know how hard it is to buy booze as a cat? Pretty f*honk*ing hard!

Mina's cat mentor, a perpetually drunk Australian.

  • Accidental Misnaming: In the Mexican dub and the unofficial Sailor Moon R sequel Mina always calls Artemis "Aristocat".
  • The Alcoholic: Artemis is always drunk, and tries to justify making an early start on his boozing as compensating for the time zone difference for Australia's happy hour.
  • Captain Obvious:
Artemis: Wait a second... wait... wait... Wait a second.
    Amy: What is it?
    Artemis: I... am a cat!
    Mina: {in disbelief} Shut Up!
Raye: CAN WE TALK SHIT ABOUT MINA AND ARTEMIS, TOO?!
Mina: Sure, we won't notice. Giggle!
  • Drowning My Sorrows: In the movie, he implies that is drinking is the result of having to be the Sailor Scout's retainer.
  • Drunken Master: He actually manages to fight one of Alan and Ann's card monsters by himself while the Scouts and Luna were indisposed. Too bad that scene was skipped over.
  • Lazy Bum: He'd rather be drunk all the time as opposed to stopping evil.
  • The Unintelligible: When he's being particularly drunk.

Jesus, those girls make me want to actually jump off a cliff.

Serena's love interest, rescuer, and constant source of annoyance.

    Molly

Voiced By: KrisRix

Wow, what a weird dream! It never gets old — waking up in a random place with comatose bodies all around me.

Serena's Muggle Best Friend who has a thick Brooklyn accent and usually serves as rescue fodder.

  • Accidental Misnaming: Nephlite can never get her name quite right.
  • Angst? What Angst?: invoked See above character quote.
    • Tragically averted with Nephlite's death. While she got over it quickly enough in the canon series, in SMA she becomes severely depressed for several episodes, and remains heart-broken for the rest of the series. The other characters have fun with it anyway.
  • Catchphrase: Whenever Nephlite gets her name wrong: It's MAAAAWWWWLLLY.
  • Damsel in Distress: All. The. Time. (Just like in the canon series.)
    Luna: Molly's in danger!
Serena: Christ, AGAIN?! Every *honk*ing episode!
  • Designated Victim: She's targeted by the Monster of the Week in almost every episode.
  • In Love with Love: Some of her dialogue with "Maxwell Stanton" implies this.
  • The Load: Lampshaded and lambasted frequently.
  • Second Love: She started dating Melvin in the unofficial Sailor Moon R sequel. She isn't too happy about this and clarifies he's a consolation prize for losing Nephlite though.
Melvin: We hooked up offscreen! It was so romantic!//
Molly: ....Had to choose between that or necrophilia.
  • Together in Death: Attempts to be this with Nephlite in Episode 28. It doesn't work.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Frequently, though her agreeing to meet "Maxwell Stanton" (a strange man who's old enough to be her father) in the park at 2am alone probably takes the cake.

Villains

    Queen Beryl

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sma_beryl_1296.jpg

You don't bring me the crystal but you bring me an unconscious teenage boy?!! Wait, I have an unconscious teenage boy? Ohh...

The main antagonist of the first season. Has an obsession with hot teenage boys, Kelly Clarkson songs, and the internet.

  • Bad Boss: Tends to kill her subordinates for failing her one too many times. This comes back to bite her at the end of season one.
Queen Beryl: It seems the Sailor Scouts are coming our way. Who wants to welcome them and earn a place in NEGA-history textbooks? I PROMISE I won't kill you if you fail!
Rando in the back: I don't trust her!
Queen Beryle: WHO SAID THAT?! (lightning strikes) Like I said, I promise I won't kill you!
  • Big "SHUT UP!": At least once an episode.
  • Catchphrase: "SILENCE!" or "SHUT UP!" after someone points out a hole in her logic.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: The seven shadow warriors being sealed in the seven pride crystals and sent to earth apparently broke her up. She needs a minute to compose herself while explaining it to Zoizite.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: She refuses to let Jedite get a sidekick lest it be a 14-year-old boy he can molest.
  • Expy: Let's be honest: Who else was reminded of Rita Repulsa? Loud, gravely, No Indoor Voice, Hair-Trigger Temper, Large Ham who attacks a Sentai team with a Monster of the Week Once an Episode...
  • God Save Us from the Queen!
  • If I Can't Have You…: At the end of the first season when she kills Darien after he gets de-brainwashed thanks to The Power of Love.
  • Incompatible Orientation: Considering Jedite is so Ambiguously Gay he practically lives in a Transparent Closet, and he left Beryl before the start of the series, and she's not over him while he shows no lingering interest in her (but does to what he thinks is a young man)...
  • Lovable Sex Maniac: She orders Jedite to get her a computer so she can look at porno, and seems to enjoy video-taping men wrestling in mud pits. Hmm...
  • Navel-Deep Neckline: Her dress has a plunging neckline that exposes her cleavage and navel.
  • Never My Fault: Every failure is due to the incompetence of her minions. Even when they tell her it was on her orders, or she didn't give them the time or resources they needed to succeed.
  • No Indoor Voice: A minor example compared to Raye. Considering they have the same voice actor...
  • Remember the New Guy?: The Seven Shadow Warriors, who were totally there in the war against the Moon Kingdom as Beryl's allies, and then were sealed in seven Pride Cyrstals and sent to earth. Zoizite, naturally, has no memory of these long-time comrades.
  • Surrounded by Idiots: Has this reaction quite often. Then again, it's not like she gives them the necessary time or resources they need to succeed against the Sailor Scouts; something Jedite lampshades before she kills him.
  • Token Good Teammate: Queen Beryl in the alternate universe episode. Although the villains fail at villainy as much as the sailor scouts fail at heroism.
  • Woman Scorned: It's implied that she's so hard on Jedite because she hasn't forgiven him for leaving her.
  • Yandere: Wastes Darien after his brainwashing is removed because If I Can't Have You…, nobody can.
  • Yaoi Fangirl: Though only when it's for her own titillation (like having Malachite and Prince Darian wrestle in a mud pit for her to film), otherwise she's quite homophobic.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sma_malachite_29.jpg

They deserved it. They weren't wearing their mittens! And also, they called me a fag.

  • Atomic F-Bomb: In the Mexican dub, he tries to call Zoicite's name as he dies. Things don't go as expected though.
Malachite (after being stabbed by Sailor Moon): Zoicite....Zoicite! Can you hear me?
Jadeite (as a disembodied voice): Hi Zoicite!
    Malachite: Jadeite?....FUUUUUUUUUUCK! *dies*
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: He's genuinely distraught when Queen Beryl kills Zoicite in front of him.
Malachite: I-I think I'm going to cry...
  • Evil Laugh: And a weird one at that. Fwuh-fwuh-fwuh-fwuh-fwuh-fwuh-fwuh!
  • Minion Shipping: He is the boyfriend of Zoicite.
  • Only Sane Man: The most normal one out of the villains.
  • Villainous BSoD: He's "too emotional" to fight the Sailor Scouts in episode 31, even though he has them at his mercy. Whether he's still grieving over Zoicite—who was killed earlier that episode—or was distraught from Mercury's sic burn "go bleach your roots, creep!", or both, is unclear.

    Fiore

TEN YEARS, DARIEN!

The villain of the Sailor Moon Abridged movie. He's psychotic and dangerously obsessed with Darien.

  • Adaptation Personality Change: In the unofficial Sailor Moon R sequel he's less campy and hysterical, being more sarcastic and super gullible.
  • Aloof Big Brother: The unofficial Sailor Moon R sequel reveals he's Alan and Ann's older brother. He doesn't particularly care about them though, due to his obsession with Darien.
  • Ax-Crazy: WHAT IF I DESTROYED THE WORLD?!
  • Bizarre Alien Biology: It's vodka! Where I come from, this is our healing substance!
  • Catchphrase: TEN YEARS!
  • Crazy Jealous Guy: You evil bitch! You're trying to steal Darien from me!
  • Depraved Homosexual: The entire Earth will die, suffocated by my seed!
  • If I Can't Have You…: I'VE BEEN TOLD I'M PERFECTLY JUSTIFIED!
  • Loners Are Freaks: You don't know what it's like to be without friends!
  • Love Makes You Evil: TEN! TEN YEARS! DARIEN, FORGIVE ME!
  • Psychopathic Manchild: Don't blame me! I've come to the conclusion that I've been wronged!
  • Stalker with a Crush: I'm now going to be obsessed with you for the rest of my existence.
  • Super Gullible: In the unofficial Sailor Moon R sequel the Zinnia Flower somehow managed to convince him that reptilians exist and the 1969 moon landing was a hoax. Serena takes advantage of it by gaslighting him with a fake memory of her giving Darien a rose as a child so he would drop his guard.
Fiore: Sailor Moon gave a flower to Darien....*gasps* So that means....SHE gave me the flower?!
Serena: (Pfft, what an idiot! Didn't he notice that the bouquet appeared from nowhere?)
  • Yandere: It's beautiful and it will be MINE!

    En (Ann)

Voiced By: KrisRix

The sister of Al. Along with Al, she pretends to be a transfer student from Soviet Russia in order to gather energy for their tree.

  • A Mind Is a Terrible Thing to Read: With Alan, though it's mostly because he keeps forgetting they're telepathically linked and thus lets his mind wander wherever it may (usually regarding his crush on Serena). She eventually gives up trying to remind him she can hear his every thought.
  • Bizarre Alien Biology: Plant-based, energy-sucking life-form with tentacles in her mouth? Yes.
  • Brother–Sister Incest: Played for Laughs. Unlike the original series, Ann and Alan are not just pretending to be brother-and-sister at school, but they're also explicitly stated to be boning each other.
  • Clingy Jealous Girl: Towards Al and Darien
  • Curtains Match the Window: Her eye colors match her hair in both her human and alien forms.
  • Distracted by the Sexy: Anne. The conversation she has makes it even better.
Anne: Alan, you fool! You cannot do those things! I am your only lover! How can you possibly find those humans attractive! *Sees Darien reading* I would never find some male, attractive, tall, dark and handsome...with his books...and his purple pants...*gasp* What a babe! He's PERFECT!
  • Fake Russian: In-Universe, he fakes a Russian accent in order to pretend to be a transfer student from Soviet Russia.
  • Funny Foreigner
  • Green-Eyed Monster: She's jealous of Al's crush on Serena.
  • Green-Skinned Space Babe: She's attractive even in her alien form.
  • Humanoid Alien
  • I'm Standing Right Here: Her reaction to Alan thinking about or flirting with Serena right in front of her.
Anne: We're telepathically linked, you moron!
  • Mother Russia Makes You Strong: She doesn't have the physique, but she definitely has the attitude. Despite being an alien.
  • Pointy Ears: Like her brother, En has elf-like ears.
  • Put on a Bus: In the unofficial Sailor Moon R sequel.
  • Stalker with a Crush: Towards Darien; she has a book that goes into detail about his daily routine, right down to his bowel movements.
  • Yandere: Towards Darien and Alan

    Al (Alan)

Voiced By: Judgement915

  • Alien Arts Are Appreciated: Inverted. Alan is a fan of Lady Gaga.
  • Bizarre Alien Biology: Like his sister. Strange things happen when he tries to eat.
  • Brother–Sister Incest: Played for Laughs. Unlike the original series, Ann and Alan are not just pretending to be brother-and-sister at school, but they're also explicitly stated to be boning each other.
  • Digging Yourself Deeper: When Ann gets jealous of Alan for admiring Serena's beauty, he tries to reassure her he meant the trees. He just keep saying "I meant Serena" over and over, digging himself deeper each time.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: Destroys Anne's entire Snow White play. Why?
Alan: You said I couldn't be Grumpy. Well, who's Grumpy now?
  • The Ditz: Probably the biggest male ditz in the show, and that's saying something. When he expresses a desire to play Grumpy in the Snow White play, Ann snarks that he'd be more suited to playing Dopey. It's hard to disagree with her.
    • In the unofficial Sailor R sequel, he mistakes a flute for a human penis.
  • Expy: Resembles Fiore in the first SMA movie.
  • Fake Russian:invoked Has a Russian accent in order to pretend to be a transfer student from Soviet Russia.
  • Freudian Slip: There's a nice one by Alan in episode 42.
Anne: It seems to have no more energy.
Alan: Well, with our cardians/guardians, that can be easily erectified.
Anne: I don't think that's the right word.
    • Also this one:
Alan: As the humans say, I would not hold my dick about it.
Anne: No, you mean breath. Hold your breath.
Alan: Why would I hold my breath if I can hold my dick?
    • During a cherry blossom outing, he admires Serena's beauty. When Ann gets jealous, he tries to reassure her he meant the trees several times, but he slips each time and accidentally admits he meant Serena each time.
  • I Have to Go Iron My Dog: "I have to go...bate the master!"
  • Musical Assassin: He uses his flute to control his monsters.
  • No Guy Wants an Amazon: Unfortunately for Lita.
Alan: No, not that husky freak!
  • Pointy Ears: Has elf-like ears in his alien form.
  • Put on a Bus: In the unofficial Sailor Moon R sequel.
  • Stalker with a Crush: Has a big crush on Serena.
  • Yandere: Towards En and Serena.

Characters introduced in the unofficial Sailor Moon R sequel

    Rini

Voiced By: Otamon

Serena and Darien's daughter from the future. She travelled to the past so that Sailor Moon would save the future and her mother, Neo-Queen Serenity. Needless to say, she's disappointed to see Serena is a fat, gluttonous crybaby and lets herself to be kidnapped in various occasions to see her mother in action.
  • All Your Powers Combined: As Black Lady, she borrows Lita's thunder powers, Amy's fighting tactics, Raye's sadism and Mina's valley girl slang.
  • Big Eater: Like mother, like daughter.
  • Call-Back: Starts blubbering whenever she's upset, which is a reference to how she was The Unintelligible in the movie.
  • Catchphrase: "Boohoohoo!" everytime she cries.
  • Deadpan Snarker: It's second nature for her to run her mouth with sarcastic remarks.
  • Enfant Terrible
  • Expecting Someone Taller: Apparently back in the future, Endymion told her tales about Sailor Moon's heroic deeds, and this is her motivation to travel to the future....only to realize Serena is a fat crybaby. In Episode 17 Endymion admits he might have "exaggerated a bit" with his tales.
  • Grounded Forever: Her final fate.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: After dooming the future by accidentally assimilating the Silver Crystal and putting the Sailor Scouts in danger many times just to see her mother at full power, she ends up accepting it was all her fault and helping her mother to set things right again. She's still "grounded for life" once she returns to the future, though.
  • Line-of-Sight Name: How she comes up with her "Black Lady" name after being aged-up magically by Wiseman.
Black Lady: I am the Guardian of Planet Nemesis. And my name is....(*thinking* Damn, I guess I didn't think this through. Alright, my name is Serena Small Lady Tsukino, therefore my evil name will be....) BLACK LADY!
    Sailor Scouts: That's lame!
  • Maddened Into Misanthropy: It's implied she's so sociopathic because of having Serena as a mother.
  • You Are Fat:
Rini: (after tripping while running) Fuck my fat genetics!

    The Spectre Sisters

Voiced By: Otamon

  • Bad People Abuse Animals: Catzi likes to torture her stuffed animals and put stuffed red cotton on them to make "more realistic tortures". She even bonds with Raye because of this.
  • Butt-Monkey: Bertie. Her sisters refer to her as the "dull one", to the point she believes it. Then Amy encourages her to have more persnality, but it's all a ploy to be purified by Sailor Moon. And then Prizma and Sapphire have sex in her bed.
  • Catchphrase: Prizma likes to do things with PASSION!
  • Does Not Like Men: Played for Laughs. Prizma has a grudge against men in general but Avery points out she's just embittered that Sapphire broke up with her in the past.
  • The Fundamentalist: Catzi was this before being "converted" by Raye.
  • Humanity Is Infectious: Avery and Prizma complain about this after Catzi and Bertie have been purified.
Catzi: (after Avery and Prizma capture her and Bertie in a bubble) Sisters, stop this madness at once! If you do, Satan will bless you.
Prizma: What did those Sailor Scouts did to you?!
Bertie: I wanna pee but there are no toilets here!
    Avery: She's still the same.
  • Malicious Misnaming: Prizma likes to mess with Avery's name, calling her by, among other things, "Avatar" and "Avenger" and "Ava".
  • Only Sane Man: Avery.
  • Sarcastic Devotee: They have no respect for Rubeus and mock him all the time.

    Prince Diamond

Voiced By: Otamon

The main antagonist of the second season (or so he thinks). Has a fetish with fat girls and therefore he has a crush on Sailor Moon.

  • Catchphrase: Always says "Whoosh-whoosh" when he appears or disappears. In the episode when Sapphire dies, he changes it to "Sad whoosh-whoosh...".
  • Chubby Chaser: Has a crush on Sailor Moon because he likes fat girls. Strangely he also loves Neo-Queen Serenity (who's Serena from the future and uses the Silver Crystal to lose weight).
  • Food as Bribe: Tries to brainwash Serena with his hypnotic eye. She resists until he tells her there are donuts inside.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Diamond doesn't like Tuxedo Mask at all. Not because he has Sailor Moon's love, but because his rose is more powerful than his attacks.
  • Miles Gloriosus: Fights against Tuxedo Mask thinking he'll be fine with the powerups Wiseman gave him. He ends up having to retreat from his roses.
  • Oblivious to Love: Has no idea of Emerald's feelings for him.
  • Rape Is a Special Kind of Evil: Tries to rape Serena twice in an episode and even lampshades it.
Diamond: Heh, can you believe this is still rated as a children cartoon?
  • Redemption Equals Death: Averted.
Diamond: Serenity....I always loved you. *dies*
Serena: Dying doesn't redeem you, you're still a filthy rapist.
  • Smug Snake: Seems to think that he's got Wiseman well under his control. No-one but him is convinced and it takes him 10 episodes to figure it out.
Diamond: Wait, aren't I the leader?
  • Unwitting Pawn: Is one to Wiseman, quite obviously to everyone but him.
    Sapphire

Voiced By: Otamon

  • Amicable Exes: Wants this with Prizma, but she's still bitter over their breakup.
  • Dying Clue: As he's killed by Wiseman he screams "It wasn't poisoned!" at Diamond. Episode 18 reveals that Wiseman had tricked the Black Moon Clan into thinking the prison food Neo-Queen Serenity sent them was poisoned.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: Uses his last moments to give Diamond a Dying Clue that makes him realize Wiseman had tricked them all. He was completely aware that it would result in his death, but didn't want Emerald's death to be in vain.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Sapphire is repulsed by Diamond lusting over Sailor Moon. Not because of his fetish for fat girls, but because she's underage.
Diamond: Emerald, bring Sailor Moon to me!
    Emerald: Ehh, why?
Diamond: Cause I like her big butt and I cannot lie.
    Sapphire: She's 14 nyehnyeh!
    Diamond: And sooo chubby....
    Sapphire: Barf!
  • Only Sane Man: Compared to the idiotic and perverted Diamond, the clingy and jealous Emerald and the dumb and sexist Rubeus.
  • Redemption Equals Death: Averted.
Catzi: He's totally burning in Hell right now.
  • Spanner in the Works: To Wiseman.
  • The Unintelligible: He can only say "Nyeh nyeh" but for some reason everyone can understand him and according to Prizma, he's quite eloquent. Strangely, he's able to speak normally when he's being serious.
    Emerald
    Rubeus

Voiced By: Otamon

  • Butt-Monkey: Nothing ever goes right for him. He's forced to work with the Spectre Sisters despite his hatred for woman, cannot get the respect of his fellow Black Moon members at all and he's the only one that gets affected by Sailor Mercury's attacks. He also dies in a very pathetic way.
  • He-Man Woman Hater: He views women as inferior creatures and thinks all they do is talk about makeup, diets and shopping.
  • Killed Mid-Sentence
"The great and powerful Rubeus won't be defeated by a bunch of cun-" (debris crushes him)
  • Politically Incorrect Villain
  • Never My Fault: Every failure is due to the incompetence of the Spectre Sisters and because "women are weak".
  • Taking You with Me: Attempts to kill the Sailor Scouts by setting his spaceship on fire, but the collapsing debris falls on him, killing him.

    Wiseman
  • Body Horror: His skeletal appearance is a result of an allergic reaction to Italian food.
  • Did I Just Say That Out Loud?: Has the tendency to speaking his evil plans out loud. That's how Sapphire manages to find out about his true colors.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: Turns out his reason to manipulate the Black Moon Clan and attack Earth was because Neo-Queen Serenity gave Italian food to the prisoners of Nemesis and he was allergic to said food.
Wiseman: Do you have any idea how hard it was to see everyone enjoying that feast while I swelled up just for eating Hawaiian pizza?! That's why my face looks like a skull! So if I can't enjoy it.....NOBODY ELSE WILL!
  • Even Evil Has Standards: He's disgusted by Rubeus's sexist attitude.
  • Ironic Allergy: Is allergic to pizza and pasta, even though it's the stock food for the prisoners of Nemesis.
  • Phony Psychic
Prince Diamond: Sailor Moon told me everything!
Wiseman: How did she know that I'm a fake psychic?
Prince Diamond: Not that! About the food!
Wiseman: Ah yeah....that was a load of bullshit.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: Hawaiian Pizza. Too bad he's alergic.
    Sailor Pluto

Voiced By: Otamon

  • Affectionate Nickname: Rini calls her "Plu".
  • Beleaguered Assistant: She acts as a very resigned and annoyed advisor to the bratty and sociopathic Rini.
Rini: (as Pluto pats her head, despite letting the Sailor Scouts travel through time) Y-you're not angry at me?
Sailor Pluto: Oh, I'm fucking pissed right now! But I'm not allowed to hurt you and you know it!
  • Irrational Hatred: Towards Raye.
  • Not So Stoic: She's usually very calm and level-headed, unless Raye is involved.
Raye: (as Sailor Pluto uses her staff to open the gates of time) Is the dramatic pose necessary?
Sailor Pluto: WELL EXCUSE ME! WOULD YOU RATHER DO IT YOURSELF?!
    Raye: ....Can I?
    Sailor Pluto: NO!
  • Tranquil Fury: Her default emotion.
