Protagonists

Characters portrayed as protagonists.

     Mika Shingeki
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mikaicon_6.png
Click to see her in Sukatto! Geki Mika
A young girl with orange hair who was portrayed before with a covid mask on her face. She is the titular character.
  • Ascended Extra: For the Japanese channel specifically, while Mika was the channel mascot from the beginning, it took eleven months before she started being used as a character proper in the stories themselves, at which point she became the true star of the channel. This isn't the case for the English channel, where episodes with Mika have aired since the beginning.
  • As Himself: Actually Mika exists in real life as creator of "ATTACK on MIKA" stories. The face of a real person on the photo in the opening title belongs to her real-life version.
  • Depending on the Artist: Her hair length varies from being right below her shoulders to her mid-back. Also in some episodes she is shown without her mask.
  • Fourth-Wall Observer: She will sometimes make remarks throughout or at the end of a story even though she doesn't appear on-screen given that she is the titular character.
  • Iconic Outfit: During the COVID-19 pandemic she was seen with her white face covid mask, mainly as a schoolgirl. Now she doesn't wear it, but still has white jacket.
  • Official Couple: She is often paired with Ichi.
  • Tsundere: A few episodes have her as someone who cannot confess to Ichi, so she teases him.

  • Depending on the Artist: In some episodes he could have completely black hair.
  • Family Versus Career: In one episode, after his girlfriend dumped him for not being rich, he decided to work harder. However, this left him with little time to spend with his adoptive daughter Mika. On the day of her birthday, Hideo gave him a lot of work and he was barely able to make it in time to go to the restaurant where he and Mika were to spend her birthday. The work that Ichi did landed him a promotion which made his work life easier, leaving him with more time to spend with Mika.

After that and meeting Ichi, who joined the yakuza, he quit his job and opened a diner in honor of his mother.
