- "My parents loved my stepsister. They called me ugly... but a handsome guy..."
: Kaori was not treated well by her father and stepmother in favor of her stepsister Misaki. She eventually left with Misaki and cut ties with her parents. - "Creepy sister...": Kotomi became this for refusing to give away her dog, Ron, after her younger sister, Himeka, was born. Needless to say, the tensions between Himeka and Ron escalated to the point she killed the dog by feeding him an entire can of weed killer.
- "My toxic parents kicked me out, so I decided to run away with my cute childhood friend": Akira is a rare male example. His parents hate him for being an otaku while they dote on and help his sister, Nagi, in her career as a model. Things escalate when they disown him and kick him out of the house, claiming that Nagi told them that he touched her. The next day, however, they intercept him while he is leaving school, push him to the ground, and demand that he disguise himself as Nagi's boyfriend because she was caught dating a guy, not caring what happens to him. When he refuses to do so, they get pissed and are about to beat him into submission. However, Nagi shows up and tells them that she quit her career because of that. When Akira tells her about how she "told them he touched her", Nagi tells him that she never said and lambasts her parents for using her as an excuse to kick him out of the house and for always treating Akira like crap. She then cut ties with her parents and both she and Akira end up living with their grandparents.
- Parents treated me like crap… But after I got married…: Chikage became this after failing a private elementary test, over which they dote on her younger sister, Chinami, until the former introduces her longtime friend Kosuke to her parents. His prestigious background drove the greedy couple to ignore Chinami and dote on Chikage again. This drove the former to find a rich husband of her own, only to come back 7 months pregnant because her mark was already married.
- My parents who adore my sister tells me to leave the day before her wedding day... : Aoi was mistreated by her parents in favor of her sister, Nina. They refused to let her go college, force to get a job, take all of the money she earns, and repeatedly call her an idiot. One day, while her friend, Hibiki, is visiting, Aoi's parents come back home after meeting Nina's fiancé. After mocking Hibiki, they tell Aoi that she is not allowed to go to Nina's wedding and tell her to leave if she does not like how she is treated, which she does and moves into Hibiki's place after declaring her hatred for her family. Years later, her parents appear at Aoi's apartment and beg to be let in because Nina's husband turned out to be a psychopath who made their lives (apparently except Nina's) hell. However, she refuses and leaves them at the man's mercy.
- I lost my eye and my sister stole my boyfriend. Three years later...: Rui became this after losing her right eye to malignant melanoma, with her sister Misa rubbing her disability on her face and stealing her boyfriend Kaname from her. However, turns out it was a ruse and he breaks up with Misa, driving her into a self-inflicted car accident that cost her her whole eyesight and use of her legs.
- "These drawings are trash" My parents suppressed my hobby...: Saki-kun aspires to be an artist despite being put down by her parents in favor of her spoiled younger sister Kirari. After their parents accidentally ruin the latter's paintings to abuse the former, Kirari gets discouraged from art after teacher Goriyama Tekken reviews her crappy paintings.
- Mother only takes the pretty twin with her and comes back years later to swap girls...: Fuyuka is a case where she is this to one parent. Her lazy mother decided to divorce her father and take Natsumi with her while leaving Fuyuka with him. However, when Natsumi becomes pregnant with a construction worker, the abusive hag kicked her out and came back to swap her with Fuyuka. Unsurprisingly, she calls her out on this and kicks her mother out of her life while welcoming her sister back.
- A father kicks out his wife and son but keeps the daughter...: Eiji is another male example. His dad always favored his sister Sayuki over him, even when she doesn't treat him that way. Things escalate when Sayuki defends Eiji from him, saying she is going to marry him in the future.
- Parents go on a week-long vacation with only their favorite daughter...: Saki Uchida is treated like a maid by her parents and her younger sister Yuki. Things escalated when she talked back to her parents for leaving her home alone while taking Yuki on a week-long vacation, resulting in them locking her in the veranda for the timeframe. And they’re shocked to find Saki inside the home. Turns out Saki spent their entire vacation collecting evidence of their abuse and hands them over to the cops. And she leaves Yuki to fend for herself.
- I was left behind by my family, but a handsome gang leader saved me?!: Ai Sonozaki was ignored by her parents in favor of her cuter, younger sister Maria. She appears to finally be allowed into a family trip, only to be ordered to go to the toilet at the last minute. When Ai stopped to help a tattooed young man find his mother's good-luck charm afterward, her family left her behind at the airport. Even if Ai didn't do that, they'd be still on their way to customs since they never intended to take her on the trip. Once the family comes back, Ai calls them out on their lies and mistreatment of her, but they assert that they did nothing wrong, while Maria tries to steal away Ryuga from her. He brushes her off and shames the whole family over their abuse.
- My sister wanted me gone just because I was born different…so I went up to the rooftop…: Satoshi Nohara is another male example, only this time it's for being born with three fingers in one hand. His mother always favored his younger sister Kasumi, who also abuses him.
- My sick and coddled sister said she wanted my boyfriend...: Masumi was neglected and mistreated by her parents ever since her younger sister Kasumi's sickness seemed to not be healed even after being discharged from the hospital, with the latter taking advantage of it to get her in trouble. Kasumi even goes as low as to demand her sister’s fiancé be hers, with the parents wholeheartedly agreeing without asking for Ren’s opinion. But Ren calls her out for faking her illness and pulls out evidence to back this up. The parents furiously chew her out and demand she either get a job or move out. The parents also try to make amends with Masumi, but she refuses to forgive them and cuts them out of her life.
- I put a voice recorder under my hospitalized brother's pillow: Hirokazu is treated more strictly by his parents while his sickly little brother Yuuki was they doted on.
- My parents kicked me out of the house while I was sick, but a few days later...: Mika was neglected by her parents in favor of her sister Ririna. When Mika had to be admitted into the hospital, they bring all of her belongings into her room, basically kicking her out of their house. Unfortunately for the parents, Ririna ends up getting more weight after Mika was gone and turns up to be even more spoiled than before, causing her parents' money to be dried up. Mika also doesn't want anything to do with them anymore.
- "My father only loves my step sister... A few years later, she came to me crying...": Ever since Aiko died, her husband favored Mika over his son Ichi because of the former's good grades, not helped by Mika herself having Ichi kicked out of the house. But four years later, she called Ichi because her stepfather was extremely possessive of her and even mistook her for Aiko. Moreover, it turns out she had Ichi kicked out of the house for his safety because the man was increasingly abusive towards him.
- "My mother thinks I'm ugly with no future until I married a pro baseball player...": Mika was neglected by her mother in favor of her stepbrother Keigo because of his good looks. Moreover, the woman played "the good mother" around her husband, and Keigo himself didn't say anything, which caused Mika a lot of trouble until a kind old lady offered her a job at the bento shop and met Ichi there. Years later, the shallow mother broke into Ichi and Mika's wedding to beg the bride for help as her husband divorced her for having an affair with a younger man.
- "Her parents left the older sister with her relatives for 10 years... Until one day they found out...": Ririna was favored over her younger sister Mika since the former was a idol while Mika failed. Fortuantely Uncle Buta and Aunt Jyaga, were able to take her in. Mika was able to cut ties with them and became a model thanks to Ichi. Meanwhile, Ririna got fat from the stress of living up to her parents' expectations. When they tried to get Mika to help them once they found out she got famous, she refused and Ririna had enough of them and left them as well; it turns out she intentionally fattened herself out of spite for throwing Mika away.
- "My father neglected me because I wasn't as smart as my brother, so I exposed him at the graduation": Daichi was neglected by his father who was the principal of his school because he didn't get perfect grades like his brother Sora. His father would often punish him by not giving him food and would often berate him for his grades just because they're a bit less than Sora's. At graduation, he was able to expose his father with the help of Sora in front of the whole school. He was fired and his wife divorced him.
