• To some, the fact that he made it through The Human Centipede and its first sequel without cringing qualifies as this.
  • There is also the fact that he had watched numerous "disturbing" films for the series and hardly even winced (while also disregarding the hype fans had tried selling him on), and in fact tore into the vast majority of them, most especially his review on Megan is Missing.
• In his episode on Man of Steel, he calls out all the people who complain about the reboot being much darker, while they actually demanded a more serious Superman movie... his overall rant on the Man of Steel haters in this episode can be considered this trope.
• Emer openly voicing his dislike for The Big Lebowski (a film with an extremely opinionated fanbase) could count as one as these, as well as his complete disregard for the angry commenters.
• His "The Reason You Suck" Speeches towards producers and directors of films he's panned can count as moments of awesome, with his speech towards Birdemic probably being the best one.
  • His absolute meltdown ripping Fathers Day's ass wide open is most likely the hardest state of Unstoppable Rage Emer had reached in the series, culminating in him stating that he could write a better script via just digging into a septic tank and tossing a mound of shit onto paper.
• Old Shame as it is, his brutal throttling of Kickassia upon finishing it, fueled with genuine, unrestrained anger. Not only is it very cathartic for TGWTG non-fans and outright haters, but it was also the final setup for a Dawn of an Era: the beginning of Reaction & Review.
• Early in the series' run, Emer only does not take the disc out of his laptop if the film is so bad it tempts him to just break the disc. Much later, he finally makes good on it, and which feature was it? Bondage Game, which he did not destroy because of its shock value (he found it tame beyond the heavy Squick), or even because of how bad the film was (though that's one large factor) but because of one character seeming dangerously underage and the resulting disgustingly Unfortunate Implications that Amazon is willingly selling animated child pornography. Emer takes not even a full minute to decide that this one wouldn't be worth selling.
  • To show that his statement was Not Hyperbole, the video ends with Emer displaying the snapped halves of the disc on camera, and states that he is going to Kill It with Fire next with much prejudice. In the Bottom 5 of 2015 he stated that he had done so shortly after filming, meaning that was no bluff either.
