Heartwarming / Reaction & Review

  • The first two minutes of his review of Suburban Knights. You can clearly tell by his face that he's very happy that the series had become a year old. This quickly changes when he watches the film itself.
    • The ending also qualifies.
"I absolutely adore the fact that I've been able to sit here and entertain you guys for a year doing this. Watching movies I have never seen, watching shows I have never seen, and actually getting the chance to watch them for the first time, and telling you guys what I think of them. I find that to be rather...cool, I find that to be a rather interesting thing. And you know what? I'd like to thank everybody who watched me for the past year, and I hope to continue to do this for years to come."
  • Emer feeling sympathy for the cast of Oogieloves, such as Toni Braxton, Christopher Lloyd, and Cloris Leachman.
"If I ever run into any of the big stars in this movie in public, I'm gonna look at them, I'm gonna thank them for almost all of their previous work and I'm gonna offer to buy them a fucking drink, because frankly they...because they fucking earned it after dealing with this shit."
    • Also in this episode, he says that despite his hatred for children, he still has enough respect for kids to prevent them from watching this film.
  • Emer once did a live riff on Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue. After a half-hour of making pitch-black jokes about drugs, murder, pedophilia, and many other topics, the tape he was watching ends with a commercial for the Ronald McDonald House. Emer immediately stops joking and praises the charity while encouraging his fans to donate to them. He immediately follows this with a heartfelt message to any parents watching the video to be honest to their kids when discussing drugs rather than try to scare them like the cartoon did.
  • At the end of his 400th episode (Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer), Emer thanks all his fans and supporters and says that he has the best fanbase that anyone could wish for... and given by how controversial his opinions on movies can be, that is saying a lot!
  • As a mix between heartwarming and Tear Jerker, Asalieri's tribute to Emer. Despite the falling out he had with Emer two years ago, Eric still wished that he could have made amends with him. Considering what happened to Emer, however, he has already been dead.
  • His review of Women's Prison Massacre includes him saying that the one and only thing that drove him to finish watching the film was simply because it was sent in by a viewer. With his wordings, it seems less like an obligation to keep with the series' rules and more an act of general loyalty to his fans on his part.
