Tropes with their own subpages:

SparkTales features examples of the following tropes:

  • Accidental Public Confession: In "Attending Sister's Wedding with New Partner: Unbelievable Outcome!" when Lisa and Noah attend Cecil and Lisa's wedding and she chews the groom for agreeing to have an affair with Leona despite her instigating it in the first place, the latter tauntingly asks the former if she's still upset over having Cecil stolen from her, with Cecil's parents within earshot. The couple gets understandably angry at the lovebirds for covering up their affair.
  • Aerith and Bob: A dub-induced example. The main characters and some one-offs have common names, but there are cases where either the latter's original Japanese names are kept in or have uncommon names, like Eamon, Zabel, or Audra.
  • Ain't Too Proud to Beg: In the episode "Shocked Wedding: Groom Impregnates Bride's Sister!" Vernon begs Director Noah not to fire him and promises he'll improve after his affair with Lisa's sister Rosalind is revealed. However, Noah has none of the cheating groom's bullshit and goes through with his decision.
  • Amicable Exes: In "Groom Abandons Bride for Ex: His Desperate Calls After!" Beau still got in touch with his ex-girlfriend, Karen, despite being already engaged to Lisa. While she shrugged it off hoping he would change, he took it too far on their wedding day, when he received a call from Karen claiming to be sick.
