Last Cloudia is a mobile phone game from Aidis, and was released in 2018 for the IOS and the Android. Later, in 2021, it was released on Steam.
Centuries after the God of Ruin, Lougseus, was sealed away by the goddess Lilaha and the hero Adel, the Aldanian Empire presides peacefully over the world of Granzelia, where humans and beasts live side-by-side. When that peace is threatened by the appearance of malevolent monsters, two members of the 12th Division — the human knight Kyle and the beast Rei — are dispatched to investigate, unknowingly embarking on a quest to save the world.

This game provides examples of:

  • Anti-Frustration Features:
    • The hard difficulty skips over several of the harder boss fights.
    • Most of the hardest in-game content, such as World bosses, Tower Of Trials, Arena and Time Trials, is completely optional.
    • Once you have reached high enough on the Tower of Trials, you can use Gate Sphere to skip up to highest floor minus 20 on the next Tower of Trial and still obtain their rewards (minus the EXP). Minimum floor needed to use this is Floor 35.
    • When your party is defeated, you can continue for 100 crystals. After the revive, all units get full skill stocks and max special gauge. There are also free continues promotions.
    • HP locks were removed from Limit Breaker and Ability Gate stages.
  • April Fools' Day: Every April 1st, a limited time event opens. In the event, you get to play a special version of the story prologue and the ending of the first chaper of arc one where all the units are replaced by Sahagin, one of the mobtainable monster units inside the game.
  • An Ass-Kicking Christmas: All of the Christmas related events have featured fighting against something.
  • Ass Kicking Pose: Everyone has a "battle ready" sprite in the game.
  • Battle Aura: When you enhance a unit to 4 stars, the unit is given a glow-effect around them.
  • Battle Theme Music: Boss waves have an unique OST.
  • Beach Episode:
    • There's official Last Cloudia art where we see the main characters enjoying themselves at the beach.
    • All Summer related events have beach related content. In one of the events, Theria and Lilebette can earn their swimwear as alternate costumes.
    • A swimwear version of Lilah, Tinkili, Alice and Leona can also be summoned alongside several beach-themed Arks.
  • Bittersweet Ending: The end of Arc 1. Lougseus is slain for good, but Kyle and Rei get separated from the rest of the main cast and get sent to another world. Even worse, Rei is nowhere in sight.
  • Brainwashed and Crazy:
  • Break Meter: The game has a break meter for bosses. When filled, you do more damage to them.
  • Calling Your Attacks: Most if not all the in-game skills are voiced.
  • Choice of Two Weapons: There are arks in the game that, when equipped, can grant their users the skill to equip a weapon they do not normally use once the meter for enabling it is filled up for each character, once that's done, the user does not have to keep the ark equipped and just have to equip the skills.
  • Christmas Episode: There are Christmas related events. A Christmas version of Theria, Lilebette and Mayly can be summoned along with several Christmas thermed arks.
  • Conveniently Timed Attack from Behind:
    • When Theria and Ruuto are fighting in Adan, both of them are at their limit when suddenly Kyle and Zekus appear to aid them in the battle.
    • When Leona and Kyle are climbing the Grandar Ramparts, they're almost attacked when Barcello appears and saves them.
    • In the Resistance hideout, everyone is at their limit when Barcello appears to help, ensuring an escape route for everyone.
  • Cool Airship: The 12th order skyship, Durandal and Sky Fortress Solaris.
  • Crossover:
  • Custom Uniform of Sexy: All of the female summer units wear two-piece bikinis that exposes their stomachs.
  • Cutscene Power to the Max: Specially with Kyle being able to One-Hit Kill arc 2 bosses.
  • Defeat Means Friendship: Happened with Lilebette, Lanceveil, Eliza and Barcello.
  • Draconic Abomination: El'dravahna the Imperator is a grotesque abomination that has a dragon's head, torso, arms, and wings jutting from a twisted mass of eyeball-studded flesh and machinery. Making it look even more horrifying, its wings aren't attached to the draconic torso, but to the Body of Bodies jutting from its back.
  • Dual Wielding: Thunderbolt Sevia, Christmas Lilebette, Summer Alice, Ardine, Mayly, King Bradley.
  • Dueling Messiahs: The fight between Kyle and Roland in arc 1, with both being descendants of Adel and wanting to defeat Lougeus in different manners. Roland wants to seal it again, while Kyle wants to defeat it.
  • Elemental Powers: All magic inside the game is locked to an element: Fire, Ice, Thunder, Earth, Light and Dark.
  • Emergency Transformation:
    • Kyle, Zekus and Theria unlock their shift form in the middle of a fight.
    • Rei is killed by Lily, unlocking his Divine Beast powers and coming back to life.
    • On her death bed Lilebette's parents give her their power, thus unlocking her shift and saving her life.
    • Both Alice and Roland gain their shift forms after being almost killed by Lily.
  • Everyone Has a Special Move: Every unit in the game has a special move that they can do once their special gauge has been filled.
  • Faceless Goons: To name a few: Aldana soldiers and commanders, Blaze soldiers, Grandar soldiers and commanders and non-important Grandar resistance members. Sheila, Mont Blanc and Bartz have unique variations of the base Aldana soldier sprite due to being part of the Five Capital Battlelords.
  • Fishing Minigame: In at least one spot, Kyle can whip out the fishing rod (once he obtains it) and use it to catch several fish a day. There are prizes for catching fish such as catching a number of a certain kind, every kind in the current area, and the max size of every kind.
  • Flying Weapon: Shida and Gorm Crystalia both feature flying swords.
  • Halloween Episode: There are Halloween related events where you can get several Halloween thermed arks, showing the main characters in Halloween Cosplay.
  • History Repeats:
    • Kyle's journey to defeat Lougseus involves a group that's almost the same as the one who sealed it 300 years ago in the Great War of Ruin, fulfilling the same roles. Adel/Kyle as the heroic swordsman, Rei as himself, Lenius/Zekus as the mage, Labrobos/Lilebette as the wise support and Sera/Theria as the Spirit Maiden.
    • Theria going to fight alongside Ruuto in Adan because he's the only family she has left and she wants to be there for him gets re-done with Kyle going to fight alongside Rei in Hall for the same reason.
  • I Can Still Fight!:
    • Kyle is determined to go after Roland even after fighting El'Dravahna. He faints shortly after.
    • In the middle of the fight against Lougseus, everyone gets their ass kicked, but Kyle unlocks his shift and gets back up. Shortly after, everyone else joins in.
  • La RĂ©sistance: The Blaze and The Resistance against the Grandar Empire.
  • Let's Get Out of Here: After the Lougeus fight, the entirety of Hall starts to crumble down. Enemies start to surround our heroes and Rei stays behind to defeat them while everyone else runs. Unfortunately for him, Kyle goes back to help him.
  • Lizard Folk: There are the Vazards, a race of lizard-like humanoids who wield four-pronged tridents. Normally, they are enemies, but one can be unlocked as a playable character.
  • Mythology Gag:
    • In the World of Mana Campaign, the Mana Beast's death animation is the same as it was in the original Secret of Mana.
    • In collab events, you can fight iconic bosses from their respective franchises.
  • Next Tier Power-Up: Almost all units have an original form and a shift form. Unit shifts are always a powered-up version than the original units.
  • Plot Armor: The main cast survive ridiculous situations, which include literal dying and surviving a 100th floor fall.
  • Power Gives You Wings: Theria has wings in her Spirit Maiden form. Also, Roland has wings while doing his special move. Alice also has wings in her shift form.
  • Pretty Princess Powerhouse: One of the possible warriors to summon is Princess Lilah. Same goes for Primm during the World of Mana crossover and Angela in the Trials of Mana crossover. It is also revealed that Leona is a princess on chapter 1 of arc 2.
  • Purple Is Powerful: Melza, Sevia, Lily, Lougseus, Angela, Mayly.
  • Put on a Bus:
  • Recurring Boss: To name a few: Lily, Zouglas, Degrouge and Zaix.
  • Separated by the Wall When Kyle and the rest are getting out of Hall after Lougeus is defeated, Kyle sends Zekus, Lilebette and Theria at the other side of the barrier that surrounds Hall. After this, Theria confesses to Kyle and Kyle decides to go after Rei.
  • Ship Tease:
  • Sprite/Polygon Mix: Most areas are 3D models while the majority of the characters use 2D sprites.
  • Supernatural Sealing: Lougseus sealed Vaahs somewhere in Granzelia, Lilaha sealed Lougseus inside of Adan, Sera sealed Hall into another dimension and Lilaha sealed Lilahammer into its own dimension as well.
  • The Empire: Both the Aldanian Empire and the Grandar Empire.
  • The Last Title: Last Cloudia.
  • The Lost Woods: The heroes travel to the Badal Rainforest in their journey to procure the final elemental ark. However, they find themselves going in circles. Even after providing the gem necessary, they still get lost and find out they need to catch a fairy in order to pick the right path.
  • The Power of Friendship: Everywhere through the entire story. Being so powerful to bring you back from death or litetally giving you new powers. Mixed in with The Power of Love and The Power of Family.
  • To Be Continued: The in-game story is added every 3 months in episodes that always ends with a "To Be Continued" caption. Most of the story updates also include some sort of Cliffhanger at the end to keep the player engaged with the next story update.
  • Trapped in Another World: The premise of arc 2, where Kyle and Rei get sent to Cloudia. This seems like a Running Gag with Adel's bloodline, since Adel's original world isn't Granzelia, but Cloudia, and travelled from one to another. Megius is also in Cloudia, but we don't know if he's trapped there. Roland also gets trapped into Lost Magnus, continuing the bloodline tradition.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: Kyle and Rei might argue a lot, but in reallity they care a lot about eachother. Later in arc 2, we see a simmilar situation with Leona and Barcello.
  • Walking Swimsuit Scene: All the summer units, including Lilah, Tinkili and Alice.
  • Weapon Specialization: Most if not all units have some kind of weapon pictured in their unit portrait, and some units have unque traits and abilities that makes them more powerful when they're equipped with a certain type of weapon, whether be single wield or dual wield.
  • Wham Episode:
    • The ending of chapter 2 in arc 1 reveals a lot of things like Zaix working for Lenius, Lenius mentioning that the doors of Cloudia will lead to Adel, and a mysterious girl who seems to be part of the Silver Society visiting what seems to be a tomb and mentioning that she's counting on Megeus' son (Kyle).
    • The entiery of the first part of chapter 2 in arc 2. From revealing that the Silver Society is located in another world called Lilahammer, introducing a whole new world that wasn't mentioned before (Lilahammer, Divine Cage), the reveal that both Zekus and Zaix are from Lilahammer, the introduction of the Prefets of Gods and Mia being one of them, Lenius being captured, the introduction of D'Dii and of course, the final scene with Ryvern, where he kills a swarn of enemies and then proceeds to punch Kyle so hard that it leaves him unconscious.
    • The end of the 3rd part of arc 2. Introducing 2 Advocates of God and another Prefect, introducing an entire new location (Adrastea) and Labyreth revealing that Megius is there, finally answering one of the most long-awaited questions in Last Cloudia's plot: "Where's Megius?".
