This is a recap of the main story in Last Cloudia so far.

     Prologue
Granzelia, a world inhabited by both mankind and beasts.

A world once ruled by the God of Ruin, Lougseus.

The hero Adel with the Goddess Lilaha, Maiden of binding Sera, Lenius the mage, Lagrobos the wise and Divine Beast Rei, worked together to seal the God of Ruin away.

Our adventure begins 300 years later.

The world has United peacefully under the Aldana Empire that was founded by the descendants of the hero.

However, reports of mysterious beasts disturbing the peace have gotten more frequent.

Kyle and Rei, a knight and a beast in the 12th division, go on a certain mission.

Without knowing it, they embark on a quest that may change the world.

The story begins in the skies of Granzelia, atop of an Imperial skyship, where Kyle, Rei and Davan, members of the 12th order of Aldanian Knights are trying to rescue a girl from their enemy nation of Blaze, whose skyship is commanded by a girl called Lilebette. When Kyle and company fight Lilebette, however, they see that she’s not a bad person as she says that Blaze was trying to rescue Theria (the girl who was supposedly kidnapped) from the Aldana Empire, which isn’t true.

As both parties are confused thinking that none of them kidnapped Theria in the first place, a bunch of Loug Mez descend from the skies, led by Divine Beast Loug Mekia, wich says that humanity will repent for not submitting themselves onto the God of Ruin Lougseus, and proceeds to launch a powerful attack at our heroes. Seeing how Kyle gets pretty badly injured, Davan decides to stay behind to fend out the beast, opening a Gate (aka a portal) to let the others escape.

Arc 1

    Chapter 1
When Kyle wakes up, he finds himself on a small island called Migal. He then talks with Theria and Lilebette about going to Imperial Capital Aldana to settle things between Aldana and Blaze, mentioning a friend of high influence that might help with negotiations between the enemy nations, to which Lilebette and Theria agree. The group begins to traverse Migal Island to reach the port, with intentions of taking a boat that will take them to the Aldana Mainland.

While our heroes transverse the seas and know a little bit more about each other as they spend time together, we are introduced to the Council of Ten: Imperial Guard Commander Granadas, Imperial Intelligence Agency Chief Officer Eliza, Chancellor Shida, Head of Strategy Zekus, Beast Suppression Commander/Guild Master Beyland, High Priest Maja, Seventh Division General Zaix (Operation: Gravekeeper, and Eternal Knight), Head Researcher Lily, General of the Imperial Knights Lanceveil, and finally the Chief of the Council of Ten, Crown Prince of Odal Roland. It is in this meeting that Zaix mentions the resurgence of Gates, and how their frequent appearance implies a revival of a great evil.

But that topic is quickly dropped as discussion surrounding the disappearance of the 12th Order, eventually turning the meeting into nothing but arguments. Roland quickly makes everyone settle down as he calmly orders to report all new information of the situation back to Eliza. After the meeting, Roland calls for Lanceveil and Eliza to stay behind for a discreet second meeting, one held under lock and key without approval or proper procedure. In the meeting, Roland mentions The Original (which is Theria) and Adel for the first time. Eliza then explains that she was behind the 12th Order’s recovery of The Original as she redirected their mission from suppressing monsters in the Gorde Mines to recovering it. After this conversation Lily appears from thin air, revealing that she’d been eavesdropping in secret.

After this, we are brought back to our heroes' journey, as they arrive at the Imperial Capital Aldana. Before they meet with Kyle’s friend, the group decides to stop and replenish their strength at Rei’s favorite local diner (The White Flame). Suddenly, two mages of the Alana Empire appear and set a barrier around Rei and knock down Kyle. General Lanceveil and Eliza appear as well, ready to retrieve The Original, imprisoning the rest of the group.

After a brief flashback about his childhood alongside Rei (where we are introduced to the fact that Rei has somehow lost his memories), Kyle wakes up in prison, wondering how to break out of it. Luckily, Rei has already escaped because he’s too powerful and rescues both him and Lilebette. The group decides to search for Theria, but they don’t find her. Lilebette quickly realizes Lanceveil must have taken her, so they go to the Imperial Knight Guardhouse through the Underground Catacombs.

When they reach the guardhouse, our party is stopped by Galbor, a commander in Lanceveil’s army and is responsible for leading a battalion of men. Our heroes easily defeat Galbor and his defenses, but Galbor just says he lost because he just used a fraction of his true power.

After this fight, our heroes arrive at the Arcane Laboratory, a low-tech lab developed inside of Aldana for minor research, where they meet Lanceveil and Eliza one again. Kyle challenges Lanceveil to a battle and as a result the two groups engage in a fearsome fight. Just when it appears that Lanceveil and Eliza are going to come out on top, our forces gain a new member, Ice General Zekus of the Council of Ten, who shifts the tides.

Turns out that Zekus was the friend with high influence that Kyle was talking about earlier. Zekus confronts Eliza on the change of mission of the 12th Order, knowing that she faked the Theria kidnapping report and that Kyle and company were imprisoned unjustly for just knowing the truth. Lancevil then commands Lily to begin the transfer of The Original. Lily opens a Gate, which causes our crew to spring into action attempting to stop that magic. Lily responds by demonstrating some of her true ability, paralyzing our entire team, taking Theria and walking through the Gate.

In the face of this defeat, our team takes refuge inside Zekus’ living quarters in Aldana. Kyle’s overcome with doubt until Rei and Lilibette help him remember his strength. Zekus then explains that it is likely Theria was taken to the White Laboratory, where Lily conducts experiments about ether manipulation and gates, and that they should go there to rescue her. The group solidifies their heart’s resolve and sets out to save Theria.
During the group’s journey they eventually arrive at the Arden border where they first meet Captain Bartz, another captain in the Imperial Army. However, our heroes defeat him easily. Suddenly, after this altercation has finished the surrounding area is polluted by Loug Mez.

Kyle and co. display true strength as they fight their hearts out to protect the Imperial Knights who had previously held up arms against them. This display of chivalry and courage brings Bartz to his senses, as a newfound respect for Kyle fuels his decision to let them go. This is Kyle’s true power, the ability to unite people through his simple courage and naive empathy.

After this interaction, our troupe traverses through Marlboria, eventually arriving at the Malboria Lava Caves. This is where they first meet Ignis, a summoned beast who proposes a challenge to our heroes, a contract. Those who beat Ignis in battle are then able to utilize his strength in battle, but those who lose in battle, die. Thankfully our team pulls through, and Ignis’ power is added to our heroes.

After leaving the Lava Caves, our heroes enter the Dara Desert. In this desert the group comes face to face with Eliza, wanting to show her true power in a desperate need to prove she isn’t inferior to Lily. This results in a rushed loss on her end, as our team emerges triumphant even after their exhausting journey.

At last we arrive at the White Laboratory to find and save Theria. Upon reaching Theria we are then face to face with some truths about the situation the world is in as we are also confronted with the reality of the White Laboratory. The seal on the God of Ruin Lougseus is weakening, and without a tremendous amount of Ether it is impossible to repair it. The only living being with such an abundance of Ether is Theria, however since ether is linked to an individual’s life force, utilizing all her ether to seal Lougseus would mean her death.

The way this was discovered was through copious amounts of testing on human beings, innocent people, lodged in thousands of cells throughout the lab. The option that Roland has decided to take in sacrificing Theria and other human lives is not an option Kyle believes in.

This disagreement sparks a clash of ideals that Lanceveil takes as an opportunity to test the strength of his resolve against Kyle’s, allowing the sword to truly determine who is right and who is wrong. Kyle emerges from this battle victorious, but only for a second before Lily reveals she was holding back the entire time.

Lily reveals that this sequence of events was under her control as she simply wanted to observe Theria’s ether output in the presence of people she loved. Lily then tells Theria that her brother went to fight the God of Ruin to spare her from the fate of being sacrificed to reseal the God again, making Theria lose control of her Ether output, causing a Gate to appear out of nowhere.

Simultaneously, however, another Gate appears and Zouglas, one of the 4 Lords of Ruin, steps through and kills Kyle. This causes Theria to lose even more control and start spawning Gates rampantly, sending Kyle, Lilibette, Rei, Zekus and herself through different portals away from the White Lab.

     Chapter 2
The next time Kyle wakes up, he’s in a strange place filled with galaxies and stars. He doesn’t know how he arrived here, but he decides to find a way out. However, he’s soon stopped by a mysterious voice that reveals itself to Kyle as a hooded figure who tells him to follow the light of hope and tells him that he and the people who care about him have this power as well, and that the light will eventually lead Kyle to the truth.

After a white flash of light, Kyle wakes up in the Dara Dessert alongside Theria. The pair decide to head east to find the nearest city and reunite them with the rest, since Lilebette, Zekus and Rei are nowhere to be seen and the desert is too big to go searching for them. Theria is a bit overwhelmed after learning that in order to re-seal Lougseus, she has to die, but after a motivational speech by Kyle, she feels a bit better.

Meanwhile, Lilebette and Zekus plan out a strategy to search Kyle and Theria, but it ends in an argument which is stopped by Kyle and Theria actually reuniting with them in the middle of the desert. After talking about how Kyle somehow survived after being sliced by Zouglas, the group wonders about Rei’s whereabouts. Zekus then thanks Theria in private for saving Kyle, talking about him and telling her that he’s there if she needs to talk about anything. While traversing the desert, they find Rei deep buried into the sand, but Zekus soon breaks him free with some ice. Rei gets mad, but Zekus bribes him with food and Rei soons forgets about it.

The group reaches Crowded City Badaal, where they stop at a nearby restaurant to regain strength and review the current situation. They discuss Lougseus’ revival, the Loug Mez being soldiers of the God of Ruin, Zouglas being a disciple of said God, how Adel and goddess Lilaha defeated the Four Lords of Ruin and sealed Lougseus, the experiments at the White Laboratory attempting to re-seal Lougseus, and how there’s gotta be a way to keep Lougseus dead for good besides sacrificing Theria. Zekus then says that only prince Roland could be actually behind the whole Theria kidnapping thing.

They then talk about a beast uprising that took place 5 years ago, giving rise to two factions between the Empire: one in favor of the emperor and another in favor of Roland. Zekus further explains that Roland is a threat and that he doesn’t work for Roland, but for the Emperor and the Emperor even gave Zekus permission to investigate Roland just in case he went too far in exterminating beasts. Zekus then said that the change of the order of the 12th division had set him into action and Rei asks if Kyle is gonna fight Roland, to which Kyle answers that he will.

Zekus then suggests going to Blaze Garden, the stronghold of the Blaze faction to see if anyone there can know about Theria’s mysterious powers, since the group can’t move freely in the Empire anymore. Lilebette lays out a route and the squad moves forward to let Zekus pay the restaurant bill.

We cut away to see Eliza talking to Roland in his castle, informing him about the situation that went down in the White Laboratory.Roland then tells Eliza to continue her mission and not pay attention to Kyle and co. He then proceeds to talk about what’s to come and how he doesn’t need to work alongside the traitorous beasts to not repeat the heroic tragedy of Adel.

The group reaches the Graia Mountains in order to arrive at Port Lidel. Theria gets tired, so the group takes a break but it ends soon as Winged Menace Medreone attacks them.

They soon arrive at Port Lidel, where some Louz Mez are attacking the people. The group feels bumped out not knowing when or where the soldiers of the God of Ruin will show up, but there’s nothing they can do. They soon take a boat to Port Kandra to reach Lanzelia.

Kyle dreams of his days as a member of the Aldanian knights, recalling a mission where he was rescued by Rei after everyone in his squad left him behind. He then goes to the deck of the ship, where Theria is sad about people dying like her brother did. Kyle then talks about his journey to become a knight, his bonds with Rei, Zekus, Lilebette and her, and how alongside friends, anything is possible. Kyle knows that Theria is thinking about sacrificing herself to seal Lougseus, but that if she does, Lougseus will break free again and it will be an endless cycle of sacrifice. Kyle then cheers up Theria saying that he's there for her if she needs it.

The next morning, Theria and Kyle talk about Theria’s brother, Ruuto, who went on trips from time to time and 5 years ago, he went on a trip from which he never returned from. Truth is that he went to try to defeat Lougseus to no avail. But Kyle tells Theria that he might still be alive. After a few jokes about Kyle looking at Theria a little bit too much, the group reaches Lanzelia.

Lilebette soon traces a route to reach Blaze Garden through the frozen lands of Lanzelia, making everyone shiver from sheer cold, but pressing on via some words from Zekus.

The scene changes to Eliza giving Roland a report of Lily wanting to capture The Original once more, telling Roland that Kyle and co. are on their way to Blaze. Roland lets them be as they will meet a certain man in their way and urges Eliza to continue investigations on the Ark. He proceeds to talk about the beasts who treasoned Adel and that, as Adel's descendant, he will succeed where Adel didn’t.

Back to our heroes, they are now traversing the Lanzelia Mountain Range, where Lilebette talks about legends of the Lanzelian lands, such as Godhunter Shin and the winged warrior Lukiel locked in eternal struggle, and ancient Frostwyrm Del’quara.

They soon reach the Lanzelian royal palace, the capital that once ruled over Lanzelia, known for being in good terms with beasts as Blaze is currently. However, the Lanzelia Empire fell to ruin long ago. Zekus and Lilebette are discussing the current state of Lanzelia when they’re interrupted by Zaix, member of the Council of Ten and general of the 7th Knight Order.

Rei soon loses patience with Zaix, wondering if they can fight him, to which Zaix asks his name, clearly teasing him as he does know it and making Rei wonder if they already know each other, to which Zaix tells him that they just met and calls him Lagreign.Zaix then offers the gang to tell some info if they play hide and seek with him.

Zekus then proceeds to say that the name of Zaix has been present ever since the founding of the Empire and that he’s a walking enigma. Kyle accepts Zaix’s challenge in search of an answer for Rei’s memories and to kick his butt. However, Zekus and Rei talk him out of it and Kyle agrees to let him go.

Zekus and Rei stay behind and Zekus tells Rei that he’s writing Kyle down, but Rei doesn’t care. Zekus then proceeds to talk about a certain promise Davan and Rei made (which consists of Rei protecting Kyle), but Zekus calls it a curse too wicked to bear.

After Kyle springs out some traps set by Zaix, Zaix finally shows up and gets ready to fight the party. After kicking Zaix’s ass, Kyle asks for the info he promised if they did, but turns out Zaix was just messing up with them and just acting like he was defeated. Kyle teels Zaix he doesn’t see Zaix as a Knight and Zaix just laughs, launching an attack at Kyle that Zekus stops. After messing with the party a little more (especially Zekus), he teleports away. Lilebette is mad that Zekus took a blow for Kyle and he didn’t thank him or anything, but Rei explains that their friendship is a little bit complicated but strong nonetheless.

The group reaches The Grand Wall, where the story of Melza the White Knight took place, with Lilebette sharing her passion for ancient ruins. They meet with Lilebette’s grandpa, who’s investigating the place. He tells the party that Theria’s brother requested to protect her, but when Kyle asks for further info, he disappears.

The group reaches Talon Tundra, where Kyle is following a dragon while Rei and Theria talk about Rei’s past and how he has amnesia, but Rei doesn’t care about it. Then Rei gives Theria a motivational speech on how everyone is going to avoid her death at all costs. The rest of the party arrives, and soon Rei and Kyle start arguing between each other. Theria then appreciates her friends and the group marches forward to the Eviria Ice Caverns.

At the caves, Zekus, Lilebette and Theria talk about Theria’s brother and the truth about Theria that they’ll find at Blaze Garden. The party encounters Del’quara in the caves and fights it, making it run off. The group gets lost in the caves, and that’s when a red-furred beast called Dilmordo appears to guide them to Blaze Garden after arguing with both Lilebette and Rei.

We cut to Blaze Garden, which is being attacked by Loug Mez. Before Kyle jumps into battle, Zekus and Theria notice something weird, and Theria says that Zouglas is leading the Loug Mez. After everyone gives a motivational speech to Lilebette, the group gets ready to fight Zouglas and the army of Ruin to save Blaze.

We see Zouglas meeting with Dilmordo and Lagrobos, asking about the whereabouts of the Elemental Ark. They fight Zouglas, but Lagrobos tells Dilmordo to focus on the Loug Mez and leave Zouglas to himself. Just then, our heroes arrive at the scene, and Lagrobos recognises Rei almost immediately. Lagrobos and Dilmoldo then retreat and leave out heroes to handle Zouglas. After talking for a bit, the party gets ready to fight Zouglas.

The party somehow manages to weaken Zouglas, and everyone is tired, but he’s not finished yet. Zouglas begins to cast a big black ball of doom, but Lagrobos dispels it. Ah, Dilmordo is also there. Lagrobos talks about how he and Rei were former brothers in arms, surprising Kyle. Lagrobos talks a little bit more, ready to fight Zouglas and make him retreat.

Labrobos heals the party and Kyle starts asking questions, but Lagrobos just laughs. Muffat and Dilmordo arrive at the scene, along with a little Pokkle called Ruby. Lagrobos and Murren (Muffat’s real name) turn out to be the village elders of Blaze. Lagrobos offers the party to go home and answer all of Kyle’s questions.

Kyle and co. arrive at Lagrobos’ home, where Murren and Lagrobos start answering some questions. They first talk about how Theria’s brother, Ruuto, saved Blaze from a disciple of the God of Ruin 5 years ago and went on a journey along with Lilebette’s parents and other volunteers to defeat the God of Ruin, but they never returned. Ruuto wanted to defeat Lougseus to spare his sister’s life, and requested Blaze to protect Theria in case he didn’t return.

Lilebette then talks about Ruuto and how he saved her one time, talking about her sister and his quest to defeat Lougseus and save her. Zekus then mentions how Roland and co. found about Theria as well, and that’s what movisied Blaze to get her before the Empire did.

Kyle then says that the only way to save the world without sacrificing Theria is to defeat Lougseus themselves. At the beginning, Lilebette isn't sure about the plan, but after knowing that her parents, Laveria and Regal, also fought the God of Ruin to give Lilebette a brighter future, she’s convinced to fight as well.

Lagrobos says that the key to defeating the God of Ruin lies within Rei’s memories. Zekus connects some dots and tells Kyle to pay a visit to Ladour Village, his hometown, mentioning a diary key that Kyle took from Davan. Zekus says that the contents of that diary, which belonged to Megeus Silverstar, Kyle’s dad, might hold the clue to Rei’s lost memories. Lagrobos tells them that they’re on the right path when they hear Megeus’ full name. Zekus plans a path to Ladour Island, and the group departs to their next destiny. Zekus stays behind and asks Labrobos about the Elemental Ark that Roland and Zouglas are looking for, but Lagrobos doesn’t know about the issue.

After leaving Lagrobos’ home, the group decides to take a break at a nearby restaurant before departing Blaze Garden.

At the Royal Palace in Odal, Eliza informs Roland that contact with Zaix has been lost and that the Elemental Ark is still nowhere to be found. Roland prepares a meeting, being ready for whatever comes in the future, as he holds all the cards.

At the headquarters of the Silver Society, Zaix informs Lenius that The Original has begun to resonate with Zouglas, and Lenius says to let it be, and that the door to Adel will lead to Cloudia and that only she can open it.

In an unknown location, a purple figure stands near a grave, talking about how the Silver Society is beginning to take action, that the wheels of fate have begun to turn and that they’re counting on Megeus’ son (Kyle).

In Adan, Lougseus tells the Four Lords of Ruin that his revival is near, and to kill the priestess of the seal (Theria).

Meanwhile, Kyle and co. take a well deserved break at Blaze and leave to officially begin their journey to defeat the God of Ruin once and for all.

     Chapter 3
The group reaches Malboria Caverns, where Phantom Thief Robin supposedly hid his treasure, but that info was nothing but a mere trap. Rei tells Zekus that if after regaining his memories he attacks them, he knows what to do.

Meanwhile, at the Capital, Eliza, Roland, Granadas, Beyland, Maja and Shida hold a meeting regarding Zekus’ “betrayal” and how Lanceveil went missing after the accident at the White Laboratory. Roland talks about how his father doesn’t hold a grudge against beastkind even if Adel was betrayed by a beast, that beasts should be kept at bay and that he’ll do his best to avoid needless conflict. Granadas advises him that Davan is a hero because he saved countless lives, not because he slayed lots of beasts, and Roland replies that he knows this already.

Roland tells Shida to await their report on the accident at the White Laboratory, to which he agrees. Roland says that now 4 of the 10 members of the Council of Ten are missing, but that Lougseus’ revival draws soon.

Roland commands everyone a different mission to the present members of the Council of Ten. Then, Eliza and Roland hold a second meeting where Eliza informs Roland about Kyle’s group and their journey to Lanzelia. After Eliza leaves, Lily appears, telling Roland she’ll go after The Original herself, and Roland says to do as she wishes.

The group reaches Seaside Granada to take a boat to Ladour, stopping to eat at a nearby fancy hotel first. Zekus is informed that the next boat to Ladour will ship tomorrow, so Zekus tells everyone that the group will be staying at the fancy hotel to spend the night.

In his dreams, Kyle finds himself in an unknown white place, seeing Theria in the distance. However, he can’t catch her even if he runs to her. The mysterious hooded figure that appeared when Kyle defeated Zouglas appears again, saying that Kyle has to Awaken to reach Theria and to hurry up since the Alabarser Calamity draws near. The mysterious figure then vanishes as he introduces himself as Adel, prisoner of the Goddess. Kyle suddenly awakens and goes to grab some fresh air outside. There, he finds Theria and they talk for a while. Theria then hugs Kyle and after a joke, they laugh together.

The next morning, the group takes the boat to Ladour Island, where Rei remembers when he made his promise with Davan.

The scene changes to Capital Ardana, where Granadas and Beyland talk about stuff, especially about the Council of Ten and Kyle.

The group reaches Ladour Island, a peaceful small island with no major cities. Kyle talks about his childhood and how bad he wanted to go to the capital.

To reach Ladour Village, the party goes through Midra Forest, where Theria and Lilebette have encounters with bugs that they do not like. They also fight some beasts, and Kyle mentions how beasts have been vicious as of late, maybe a sign of Lougseus’ revival.

After walking in the forest for a while, Kyle reveals that Midra Forest was when he and Rei met, and the duo reminisce about the occasion from their own point of view, which ends up in a fight. Zekus promises the ladies to show them baby Kyle pics when they get to his home, so the group hurries up, leaving Rei behind as he once more recalls the moment when Kyle found him.

The group finally reaches Kyle’s hometown, and the duo is greeted by their neighbors. The group reaches Kyle’s home, where he says he was adopted by Davan after his parents went missing. Kyle goes get his dad’s diary on his own, leaving the rest of the group to talk about Kyle behind his back.

Kyle and co. start reading Megeus’ diary, where he talks about his travels and family, and also how he found Rei in some mysterious ruins watched over by a guardian. So the group decides to go to said ruins, The Undergrounds Domains of Brahnda. Before that, Rei decides to leave the group for some food, and the rest are left to talk about the fact that Rei really doesn’t want to recover his memories.

The group goes back to Midra Forest, where Lilebette reiterates his hatred for bugs and the forest in general. Rei says that they must be going the right way since he’s got a bad feeling the further they go.

The group reaches Underground Brahnda, an ancient city full of ancient technology where Lilebette talks about an ancient civilization that ruled even before the age of Ruin.

The group reaches a dead end, and Rei is trapped within a barrier. A mysterious voice says that they can’t dismiss the barrier and that they want to talk. Kyle asks if they’re the guardian of the ruins mentioned in Megeus’ diary. The mysterious voice manifests itself to be Salmea, the summoned beast of memories and emotions.

Salmea says they can return Rei’s memories but they can’t because Salmea made a deal. Kyle offers to make a deal with Salmea as well, but first, the group must defeat Salmea in battle. So they do.

Salmea says that they sealed Rei’s memories because someone asked them to, and that if 3 conditions meet, they can restore them. The group already fills two of them, and the 3rd one is that they bring Salmea 3 Elemental Arks.

Zekus proceeds to explain that Arks are relics of the ancient civilization, acquiring their form and power by collecting thoughts and feelings, but Elemental Arks are Arks that contain the power of nature.

Salmea says that Megeus already knew about the Elemental Arks and that he asked Salmea about them. Zekus says that he knows where to start searching for the Arks following the clues in Megeus’ diary about several legendary magical beasts he talks about in several entries inside it, since they might have one with them.

As the group begins their journey, Salmea comments on how curious is that Rei found yet another group like that to join him, referring to his group during the Great War of Ruin. They also mention Adel and that if this is what he was after all along.

The group returns to Crowded City Badaal, and the scene quickly changes to the Grana Sea where we see Beyland talking about beast slaying and how they've tracked Kyle’s group to Ladour.

We switch back to the group, where they’vee stopped at a local restaurant to ask around about the Elemental Ark. They talk with a friend of Megeus’ and he rambles about Megeus and that he asked him about places where Grandworms appear. They tell them to try their luck at Dara Dessert if they want to defeat one and get the Elemental Ark from it. Also, it turns out that this guy has a daughter that he wants to marry to Kyle.

Our heroes arrive at Dara Dessert, where they (especially Rei) try to not die from heat as they search for the Grandworms. Zekus helps to keep the group cold with some ice magic.

After a long walk, they finally find a Grandworm and defeat it with difficulty. Chancellor Shida then appears, saying that he doesn’t want to fight. Kyle grabs the Elemental Ark of Earth that appears in the palace where the Grandworm has been defeated. Shida explains that there are 6 great elements, but 4 of them make the world: fire, water, air and earth. Only the Elemental Arks are powerful to harness their immense and ancient energy. Shida then warns them that he’s been tasked to capture them and to be ready for when they next meet. Zekus gives more intel about who Shida is and that they should go to their next location. The group moves forward.

The scene changes to Lanceveil wandering around Granzelia, while a hooded figure appears saying that they finally found him. Lanceveil calls for Eliza’s help as he collapses in an unknown location, but the hooded figure helps him out saying that he’s vital for the future they desire. Then, Lanceveil awakens at the White Laboratory, moving as he goes to reunite with Eliza.

Our heroes go to the Graia Mountains, where they find Granadas and his men. Granadas confronts Zekus about his treason to the Empire, but Zekus replies that he hasn’t and is still loyal to the Empire and to not listen to Eliza’s reports since they’re fake. Granadas says that he’ll take Zekus’ word, but that if his actions harm the Empire, he will consider him his enemy. Granadas then informs that Beyland wants to talk to Kyle and Rei.

Zekus talks a little bit about Granadas and the Imperial Knights, and how the mountains are a training place for them. We cut to a training montage of Granadas of his men, and Kyle meets them yet again, telling Granadas they’re looking for Winged Menace Medrone. Granadas tells them that they’re perfect to train his troops.

Granadas then calls for Worde, telling him to grab his squad and fight our heroes. They quickly defeat them, making Granadas angry. This repeats two other times with the same results, and at the fourth one they encounter Worde and co. They say that they just saw Merdone flying by and Granadas tells Worde to follow Kyle and co. and watch the fight.

Our heroes finally fight Merdone, taking the Air Elemental Ark. Granadas appears, congratulating them for defeating Merdone. Granadas asks why Kyle fights, and Kyle answers that it's to help people tand tell him about their plan to defeat Lougseus. Granadas says that they’ll let them go and that if they hurt Roland, he will kick his ass. Granadas then says that knowledge of the Elemental Arks is something that’s been passed on the royal line and goes back to train his men.

After the party talks a bit more, they march forward to their next location, not knowing that Zaix is watching them in secret at an unknown location.

Our heroes return to Blaze Garden, where Lilebette reunites with Murren, Dilmordo and Lagrobos. Lagrobos knows that our party is after the Elemental Arks, and Lilebette confirms that Del’quara has the ice Elemental Ark ever since the fight with the God of Ruin. The rest of the party arrives at the place, warming up a bit. They soon leave, and Dilmordo decides to follow them just in case.

The party goes to the Evria Ice Caverns, where Dilmordo aids them in finding the Frostwyrm, telling them a route to follow. After a discussion between Rei and Dilmordo, Zekus asks Rei if he’s afraid to regain his memories, but Rei just says no. After facing a snowstorm, the group reaches Talon Tundra.

After Rei and Dilmordo fight a little bit more, the Frostwyrm appears in front of our heroes. They defeat it with some difficulty, acquiring the Ice Elemental Ark. After doing this, Dilmordo tells the party that he was there to see their strength by himself and train Lilbbette. After talking for a bit, Dilmordo says his goodbyes to the group as they depart for Ladour Island once more.

The scene changes to Lagrobos and Murren talking about our heroes and how they’ve collected enough Elemental Arks for restoring Rei’s memories.

Our heroes go back to Seaside Granada, where they eat at a nearby hotel, where they remember their struggles to get the Elemental Arks.

They are suddenly interrupted by Beyland, who Kyle refers to as Uncle Bey, who offers Kyle and co. a boat ride to talk.

In Beyland’s boat, the group updates him on their current mission and situation. About defeating the God of Ruin, the experiments at the White Laboratory, and how Roland and the Council of Ten members can’t be trusted.

Beyland asks the group if they’re really gonna fight Lougseus, since lots of heroes before them died, but Kyle says that he’s ready for it, since he promised Theria he’ll protect her. Beyland is reminded of the time that he told a young Kyle that promises are to be kept.

Beyland offers to handle slaying the Divine Beasts, along with any funny business in the Empire and shows his support to our heroes in their quest to defeat Lougseus. Beyland then tells the group to watch out for Lily and Zaix in said quest. The group reaches port, and our heroes get ready to land.

Our heroes make their way to Underground Brahnda once more, telling Salmea they’ve got the Elemental Arks. Before restoring Rei’s memories, Salmea explains that the Elemental Arks were created to destroy divine barriers, specifically the barrier surrounding the domain of Goddess Lilahah.

Salmea then tells the party that long ago, when Lougseus ruled over granzelia, no man nor beast could oppose his Generals, the Four Lords of Ruin, nor his Divine Beasts. However, a lone maiden called Sera, who possessed a mysterious power known as Ether, opened Cloudia so that the God of Ruin might be sealed away.

Adel, Lenius and Goddess Lilahah descended from on high. Working together, Adel and Lenius change the tides of war. Heroes and beasts worked alongside Summons to oppose the Four Lords of Ruin and Divine Beasts. Then, they went to the Land of Ruin Adan, where Sera exchanged her life so that Adel, alongside Goddess Lilaha, could seal the land of Adan away, along with the God of Ruin.

Salmea says that all of this happened 300 years ago, and that something or someone might be messing with the barrier that was created back then for it to be breaking right now.

Salmea then explains that in order to go to Adan, they need four Elemental Arks, and that they made them get 3 to break the seal and because the 4th one is located in the former stronghold of Adel and Lenius: Holy Odal Castle.

Zekus connects the dots and realizes Roland must know about the Elemental Arks because he’s a descendant of Adel and Holy Odal Castle is under his control. Then, Zekus confirms that Roland must be after the Elemental Arks as well.

At that moment, Eliza appears, ready to take the Elemental Arks that our heroes have, claiming that they belong to Master Roland. She also mentions that only a true descendant of Adel may handle that Ark. Salmea then reveals that that was the reason for having Kyle fetch it. Eliza demands an explanation, and Salmea reveals that Kyle is a descendant of Adel, taking everyone (even Kyle himself) by surprise.

Zekus explains there’s no way that Kyle is related to Adel, since only the ones of the imperial family are descendants of Adel, and that Kyle has no royal bloodline since that information is thoroughly documented and maintained. Eliza also refuses to believe this information. Kyle offers a peace treaty, wanting Eliza to help them to defeat the God of Ruin and get the last Elemental Ark. However, Eliza refuses, fighting the party as she vows once more to serve Sir Roland, the one true descendant of Adel.

The party manages to weaken Eliza, and out of nowhere, Zaix appears, claiming to be there to save Eliza. However, he trapps Eliza using the same restraints that Lily uses, and after a small fight, Zaix traps our heroes as well, getting ready to kill Eliza. However, Lanceveil appears just in time to save her. Lanceveil and Zaix fight, and Lanceveil tells Kyle to use the Elemental Ark. After Zaix claims he’ll rid the world of all filth, Lanceveil calls for Lily, who appears from a portal, attacking Zaix as well.

Zaix questions the source of Lily’s power. Just then, Kyle activates the Elemental Ark, freeing him and the rest of our heroes and Eliza from Zaix’s restraints. Lily restrains Zaix as Lanceveil goes to cover Eliza. Lanceveil tells Kyle and co. to go to Castle Odal if they want to defeat Lougseus, and that they’ll settle once and for all their score there. Lanceveil, Eliza and Lily leave troguth Lily's portal, but not before Lily heals the party.

Zaix claims that the Elemental Ark belongs to him, and to give them back. After talking for a while, Zaix reveals himself as a member of the mysterious Silver Society, whose story dates far beyond the foundation of the Empire, operating outside the bounds of their natural world, masters of timeless knowledge and ancient weapons. Zekus says that he’s heard tales from His Majesty that when the society marches, calamity is imminent. Zekus asks Zaix why he stands in their way, to which Zaix replies that he gets a kick out of it. He then remarks about the oddify of Kyle’s group: a descendant of Adel, the Original, a runt from Blaze, an imperial general, and to top it off, a Divine Beast.

Kyle is confused after Zaix mentions the Divine Beast, to which he explains that they’re the highest ranks of all the servants of the Gods, and that he’s talking about Lagreign, revealing that Rei is a Divine Beast of the God of Ruin. Kyle replies that that’s impossible, but Salma just confirms it. Everyone panics, not knowing if restoring Rei’s memories will turn him into their enemy. Zaix tells Lagreign to join him and wreck stuff. Kyle then says that Rei being a Divine Beast explains a lot and that everyone will get his memories back as he promised.

Zekus thinks Kyle has lost his mind, but Kyle explains that none of this changes who Rei is now, and gives a motivational speech about their bond, and that nothing, not even restoring Rei’s memories, will break those bonds. And then vows to Rei to restore his memories and save the world together. Salmea is reminded of Adel as Kyle talks, but Zaix gets tired of hearing about friendship and all that stuff, so he teleports everyone into another dimension.

Zaix explains how this place will be our hero's grave and offers Lagreign to join him and destroy this world as he was meant to do together. Everyone tells him to not do it, and dares Zaix to call him Lagreign one more time, declaring that his name is Rei, a mere magical beast and he’ll pummel anyone in their way. Rei and Kyle joke about what will happen when Rei recovers his memories, and after a talk to Rei, the group gets ready to fight Zaix.

The group defeats Zaix putting everything into the roaster and making all of them faint but Rei. Zaix knows that the place will close soon, and opens a Gate to get out of there, leaving our heroes to struggle as they must find a way out of there.

After watching the panorama, Rei calls for Salmea and tells them to unlock his memories. Salmea says if he’s ready, and Rei answers that he is. Salmea opens a door to Rei’s memories. Rei asks if he’ll lose his new memories, and Salmea says that we won’t and to hurry up. With a last goodbye to Kyle, Rei enters his memories.

Rei encounters himself with Lageign, his other half, who tells him that he can return his memories, but not his Divine Beast powers. Rei urges Lageign to return his memories at once, but Lageign explains that the God of Ruin might take over his mind, since he was being controlled by him in the past, but then Lilahah and Adel set them free.

Lageign then talks about the Great War of Ruin and how alongside Adel, Lilahah, Lenius and Lagrobos, they all managed to seal away the God of Ruin. Rei then tells Lageign to give him something to escape the mess the group is in, to which Lageign replies to just break out of the dimension they’re trapped in.

Rei comes back from his memories, and Salmea urges them to get out of there ASAP. He creates an interdimensional interference, and after grabbing everyone, he crosses it to get back home.

Inside the interdimensional interference, Rei and Adel cross paths, and Adel tells Rei that the rest is in his hands. Rei replies to give him a break.

Our group finds itself at Midra Forest, where Kyle recovers his consciousness. He asks if everyone is fine, and Salmea replies that they are and to let them rest. Salmea says that Rei carried everyone there, and that he worked hard to make sure everyone stays healthy.

Kyle goes searching for Rei, and quickly finds him. Kyle and Rei remember the promise they made years ago, where Kyle promised to return Rei’s memories. Kyle is glad that Rei has recovered his memories, to which Rei is surprised to know that he knows this just by looking at him. Kyle then says that he’ll always be by Rei’s side and to fill him whenever he wants to. Everyone else appears, each giving a motivational speech to Rei about their bonds and friendships, which makes Rei really emotional (even if he doesn’t admit it). Kyle and Rei then fight because Rei doesn’t want to admit he has gotten emotional.

The scene changes to Holy Odal Castle, where Lanceveil and Eliza inform Roland about Kyle being a descendant of Adel. He finds this fact intestring, and says that he’ll see who’s really worthy of the Elemental Ark when he faces his blade, the sword of Adel. Then says to not make him wait and laughs like a villain.

     Chapter 4
Our group goes back to Kyle’s home, where Kyle is eager to leave, but the rest don’t pay him attention. Kyle steps outside, and as he watches the rain, he has a flashback.

In the flashback, we see Davan and Rei talking to a mysterious cool-looking black haired hooded figure with a katana (the most popular theory is that this figure is Megeus, Kyle’s dad). A young-looking Kyle approaches them, warning that the river is overflowing, and Davan tells Rei to go along with him in case anyone needs help. Kyle asks about the stranger, looking at his sword and wondering if he’s an Imperial. The figure then promises to spar with Kyle if he helps properly, and Kyle immediately goes away, excited. When Kyle’s gone, Davan comments that Kyle is a hot-headed fool just like the figure. The figure laughs, telling Rei if he’s made a choice. Rei says that he’ll promise if the figure is able to defeat him. The figure then opens a Gate to change locations and the flashback ends.

Kyle then hears a scream, and when he goes to check, he sees Loug Mez in the village. The rest of the group reaches Kyle, and they defeat the Loug Mez. Zekus then says to return to the capital for negotiations, since they will need a permit to sail to Odal, and that these negotiations will be done with Shida. Rei asks Salmea to guard the village, and Salmea accepts and even makes a shop in Kyle’s home. The group then leaves Ladour and returns to the Capitol.

When they reach the Capital, Zekus says to go to the White Flame, for he has a plan. The plan consists of making everyone wear Imperial Soldier uniforms so they can blend just in. So they do. However, since Rei is rather large, everyone stares at them.

In their way, they cross paths with Galbor, who notices Rei’s disguise and asks him if he wants to join his unit, telling him about all the perks of joining him, including dinners with Eliza’s intelligence unit, the Algata Force and introduces himself as Galbor Langrid of the Imperial Guard, Hero of the Capital, leader of 100 men.

Rei’s armor eventually breaks, revealing the beast underneath. The group reveals itself, and Galbor and his men get ready to fight. However, Galbor realizes that Zekus is with the group and changes his mind, telling the group that he'll just tell Granadas that they were no match for him.

However, Rei goes after Galbor, not allowing such a fake report. Our group easily defeats Galbor and his men once more. After his defeat, Galbor rambles for a bit, before revealing to the group that Shida is at his office. There’s a sweet scene with Galbor and his men, and then we move on to our group’s meeting with Shida.

After telling Shida the situation at Ladour, Shida agrees to send reinforcements. Zekus then tells him that they need a permit to reach Odal. Kyle tells Shida that this is to defeat the God of Ruin and that they need to reach Odal Holy Castle and Roland to do so. Shida asks Zekus if he’s aware this behavior could be considered treason, and Zekus says he does.

Shida agrees under one condition: that the group hand him the Elemental Arks once they’re done using them for research purposes. Kyle agrees, and Zekus adds the condition of removing their status as criminals. Shida agrees. Shida then mentions that 5 years ago, another group tried to defeat the God of Ruin to no avail and excuses himself to Theria and Lilebette, for they were their relatives. Warning the groupo about the dangerous situation they’re getting themselves into, Shida leaves.

With permit in hand, the group reaches Port Aldana, where they get escalated into their boat by a few soldiers. While on the boat, Theria and Kyle reminisce about their time together since they met and their journey.

The scene changes to Zouglas being tormented by Divine Soldiers. A voice beckons him one time and again to destroy the Elemental Ark and kill The Original. Zouglas slays the Divine Soldiers as he demands for the voice to shut up. The scene changes back to Theria and Kyle, where Theria somehow reacts to what just happened.
Our party arrives at Port Odal, where Theria says that even though she was born at a small village in Odal, she hasn’t been out of it much, so she doesn’t feel at home at all. The party soon reaches Moriana Plateau, where Zekus tells the tale of Luger, King of Destruction. Zekus and Lilebette discuss Theria’s and Kyle’s relationship, and Rei starts to feel the influence of the God of Ruin inside him as they traverse the Plateau.

The group arrives at Kaldina ruins, the Land of Disaster. Lilebette explains that Kaldina was a land with a very advanced technology, but that over a hundred plagues and natural disasters struck the area, making the city fall.In the ruins, Theria thinks about her brother Ruuto, who loved ruins. Lilebette talks to her about how they would discuss archeological research and that if he lied to Theria about his mission it was because of her. Theria notices that Lilebette might have a crush on Ruuto, but Lilebette dismisses this fact.

The party arrives at Badaal Forest, where they’re stopped by a mysterious magical force not letting them out of the forest. Zekus mentions that the forest is known for people getting lost in it. They hear the disembodied voice of children telling them that they won’t let them pass unless they bring them something neat, mentioning Gorde, red and shiny, and that until then that is as far as they go.

The party retreats to Port Odal to find their way to Gorde. Zekus explains the story of the Gorde mines and prince Gorm. To reach Gorde, the party needs to take a boat there, but merchant ships to Gorde only ship once in a month, so they can’t go unless they have Volgo’s Canoe since the last merchant ship shipped just yesterday.

The group asks around and they soon discover that Volgo might be in the Capital, so back to the Capital our heroes go. However, Volgo isn’t there, but his son and daughter-in-law tell the group that he left years ago to a village near the sea, and that they don’t know where exactly.

With no more clues, Rei remembers that Volgo lives at Ladour village, so our party goes back there. Turns out Volgo is there, so they talk to him. Salmea soon greets our party, telling them that the knight Shida sent has mistaken them for an enemy. Soon, the knight appears, introducing himself as Mont Blanc. Mont Blanc then charges against Rei, mistaking him for an enemy as well.

While the party asks for Volgo’s ship, which he agrees to give them, Rei is fighting Mont Blanc, who seem to be having a good time as Rei recognises Mont Blanc’s strength, which he takes as a complement from the beast king. The group lets them be.

The scene changes into the White Laboratory, where Lily says that it’s almost time and that Roland better be excited. We also see someone inside a capsule that looks an awful lot like Theria. In his royal palace, Roland replies that he is excited, saying that once it’s complete all they need is the Elemental Ark, telling Kyle (who he addresses by his full name, Kyle Silverstar) to not make him wait. Also, Eliza and Lanceveil are present in the scene as well.

With Volo’s ship, the party arrives at Gorde Town, where we see that Kyle and Rei had to row all the way and are now exhausted. The rest leave to find info about the red shiny. They all reunite at a dinner, where Zekus explains that the thing they’re searching for is called Gorde Tear, which looks like a crystal, but is in fact beast poop.

The party arrives at Gorde Mines in search of the beast who can produce the poop crystal. They only know that the beast lives deep within the mines and that it’s a golden gelatinous beast. After some shenanigans, the group finally find the beast, a huge golden gelatinous beast appearing as they follow a smaller version of it.

The beast runs away, leaving behind a red crystal, which the group recognises as Gorde’s Tear. Kyle grabs it and the rest of the group is grossed out by it. With the crystal in their possession, the group go back to the forest, but not before Rei feels Lougseus’ influence over him once more.

The party goes back to Badal Forest, where the children's voices let them through as promised, but telling them they’ll be sorry if they hurt the forest. Even after the children get them through, Zekus explains that Badal Forest is known as the Wandering Woods, since compasses are useless and people get easily lost. Zekus thinks this is because the children want to play with them and to proceed by following their rules.

After finally finding their way out of the woods, the group reaches Samel Village, where Theria was born. We see damaged houses and people in robes giving some sort of religious talk to some villagers. Iglyn, Theria’s granny, appears telling Theria she’s glad to see her priestess again. The group goes to Theria’s home to discuss things in private.

When they arrive at Theria’s house, Iglyn explains that the place was built to suppress Ether detection and that God can’t see them there, and then an elevator made with ancient tech appears from the ground. The elevator takes our party to Underground Samel Godshroud Quarantine Facility: Magidla. Zekus and Lilebette denote that the tech in the place is very similar to the one used in the White Laboratory.

While Rei sleeps, the group tells Iglyn about their plan to defeat the God of Ruin, mentioning that Ruuto had the blood of the priestess flowing through his veins just like Theria, allowing him to freely manipulate Ether but not as well as Theria does. She mentions how Ruuto failed in his quest to defeat Lougseus and how not even Adel could vanquish the God of Ruin.

Everyone in the group says that they know what they’re putting themselves up to, and when Iglyn sees how much Theria has grown since she left as she speaks, she can’t help but hope for the best.

While the party rests at Samel, we see Theria running through the village and Rei on the roof of Theria’s house, saying that it’s begun.

We switch to Imperial Capital Aldana, where Degrouge appears from a portal. In Blaze Garden, Raballa descends through a portal, which is fenced out by Lagrobos.

In the headquarters of the Silver Society located in Mordana, Baran appears. Zaix tells him if he’s after Solaris, and Baran replies that he shall destroy Lenius. Zaix laughs and engages him in combat.

We go back to Samel, where Theria runs to encounter Zouglas, who’s there for the Elemental Ark. Theria asks him if he remembers this place, recognising Ruuto underneath Zouglas’ armor. We see Ruuto reacting, with Theria confirming her suspicion. Rei says that calling for him won’t do anything, since his mind is being controlled by the God of Ruin. Theria begs for Ruuto to come back, with Sera’s spirit appearing behind her for a fraction of time. Rei recognises Sera’s power in Theria, finally understanding why everyone is after Theria.

The rest of the group appears, and Kyle is ready to fight Zouglas, but Theria reveals that Ruuto is beheath his armor and to not fight him. The group doesn’t believe this, but Rei confirms it saying that disciples are all humans who’ve been brainwashed. Ruuto tries to fight the brainwash, but he can’t.

Zekus asks if there’s a way to bring him back, and Rei replies that they can if Theria enters his Spiritual World, since she’s inherited Sera’s powers, saying that she was the first priestess and Adel’s wife. However, only those with Sera’s power can enter that place, and Theria might die there. Theria says she’ll do it, but the group still has to pin Zouglas up for all of it to work. After some hesitation, the group gets ready to fight Zouglas. After a fearsome fight, Rei and Kyle pin down Zouglas, making Theria be able to use her powers.

After entering Ruuto’s Spiritual World, Theria sees him, but she can’t catch him. She goes inside a giant portal which makes her appear in Samel Village, but the sky is blood red and filled with Loug Mez. After defeating some Loug Mez, Theria spots a black Loug Mez who is retaining Ruuto’s inner self. Theria defeats him with difficulty, but more just appear.

Theria eventually gets overpowered, but then Sera appears in front of her to offer her her power, making Theria flash in a ball of light as she gains her shift form. With her new powers, she easily defeats all the black Loug Mez and finally frees Ruuto from his brainwashing.

Theria wakes up in the real world, where everyone expresses their concerns for her. Ruuto also awakens, and brother and sister finally reunite after 5 long years. Ruuto promises to go back to Blazer and make amends someday, complimenting Lilebette’s looks. This makes her blush, making Theria start chasing her. The gang tells Ruuto about their quest to defeat Lougseus, and Ruuto tells them to make Roland join them since he’s a descendant of Adel, but then Lilebette says that Kyle is also a descendant of Adel and Ruuto then asks his name.

Kyle answers that his name is Kyle Silverstar, making Ruuto wonder if he’s the son of Megeus. Kyle answers that he is, and Ruuto replies that that changes everything, asking Kyle where Megeus is. Kyle says he went missing when he was a kid, but Ruuto then mentions that he might have a fighting chance since Megeus…and then the conversation gets cut by Loug Mekia appearing from a portal.

Ruuto says that he’ll send Loug Mekia back to Adan since he retains his powers as Zouglass, but Kyle feels like Ruuto would have to go with the beast as well. Ruuto tells Kyle that he nor anyone else is in condition to fight, that he reminds him of a younger version of himself, that he’s the hope of this world and to look after Theria.

Ruuto opens a Gate to Adan, taking Loug Mekia with him. Theria rushes to the Gate, going through it, but when Kyle wants to enter as well, he can’t, since the portal is protected by a divine barrier since she has the power of the priestess. Theria says that she’s going to go after her brother since she loves him and wants to fight alongside him. Then, she proceeds to give a lengthy speech to everyone in the group and thanking them for everything (with Rei telling her to kick divine soldier ass). Kyle swears that they’ll come for her and to hang on in the meantime. Theria says she’ll be waiting for as long as it takes…and the portal closes.

The group advances to Crismon Coastline, where Kyle is bummed out after what happened in Samel. He wonders why the ocean is red, Zekus explaining that it’s because of toxins from the toxic swamplands in southern Odal being washed out there by ocean currents, and that the toxins will stretch north until it empomasses the island of Gorde.Kyle eventually asks Zekus if negotiating with Roland is possible, with Zekus replying that it is unlikely, since Roland wants to seal Lougseus, a method that’s effective, while nobody has ever defeated him before, but it’s not entirely off the table.

The party arrives at Holy Castle Odal, where they’re confronted against the royal guard. Eliza and Lancevil inform Roland that Kyle and co. have reached the castle and they have the Elemetal Arks. Eliza mentions that their Eye has reported that Theria has been teleported to Adan, but Roland says he knew and it’s best if they assume she’s dead, but this doesn’t change their plans and to prepare the next phase.

Lanceveil tells Roland to cooperate with Kyle, since he also has Adel’s blood on his veins, but Roland says that those simpletons should be eliminated and that he has high expectations on both Lanceveil and Eliza.Eliza and Lanceveil exit the throne room, and Lanceveil tells Eliza that Kyle reminds him of Sir Roland in his younger days, that he’s the image of the Imperial Order of knights Sir Roland has been building. He tells Eliza that he’ll fight them with all he has to see the strength of their ideals. Eliza doubts for a while, but eventually stays with Lanceveil to fight by his side.

Eventually, Kyle and Lanceveil cross swords once more to resolve their clash of ideals, with Kyle easily winning. Kyle tells Lanceveil that he doesn’t kill people when he begs mercy for Eliza. Kyle also says that loyalty isn’t helping a friend doing something stupid, but smaching them until they’re back to their senses.

With those words, Lanceveil is reminded of the good ol’ days where Eliza, Roland and himself would chat and enjoy time together, with Eliza mentioning the trio met when they were kids. Lanceveil says that if Roland ever strays from the right path, he’ll smack his head with his sword. The group laughs at the implication of such a happening.

Lanceveil tells the group Roland is ahead and to hurry up. Eliza and Lanceveil talk for a while, with Eliza admitting Roland’s dream has always been to rid the world of moustruosities, but as for late, he’s been doing that wrong. She then tells Lanceveil they’ve got a long path ahead, to which Lanceveil agrees.

The group finally reaches Roland. He explains how Odal once was a slave to the God of Ruin, how Granzelia was a playground of the gods and how Adel changed that. Kyle tells him their enemy is the same, but Roland cuts him saying that he knows nothing. He rambles about the origins of the Elemental Arks and the technology used to do them, why Adel disappeared and how and when Lougseus descended into Granzelia. Roland then says he shall seal the gods, research them and unveil the truth of everything and if the life of one person saves the entire world, he shall become an evil incarnate. Roland then uses the Forbidden Sword of Zelbius, Adel’s blade, to fight our heroes.

Our heroes do their best, but they can’t defeat Roland. Roland then says it’s too late and the keys are now in his hands. Then, Lily appears through a Gate, restraining our heroes. Roland then takes the Elemental Arks for himself, but Rei breaks out, making everyone’s restraints break. Roland calls Rei a washed-up Divine Beast, and Rei replies with hostility. Roland then opens a Gate, teleporting everyone into another dimension and calling forth Imperator El’drahvahna, a draconic abomination. The group doesn’t know if they can defeat the monster, and Roland leaves telling Kyle they’ll see each other next time.

The party defeats El’drahvahna, teleporting to Odal castle once more. Zekus and Lilebette are knocked out, and Kyle does his best effort to go after Roland before passing out as well.

The next time Kyle wakes up, he’s in a completely different place. There, he meets with Adel. Kyle asks if this is a dream, and Adel responds that not exactly, but close enough. Kyle starts questioning Adel about stuff, but he keeps changing topics and Adel sights thinking about how Kyle reminds him of himself as he begins to fade away. Adel says he doesn’t have much time, and that in order to defeat Lougseus, they need The Shrine Maiden’s Light, Elsharia, a treasure uncovered in exchange for Sera’s life and being the one thing gods fear.

He says it can neutralize the god’s barrier as well as empower people and that in their possession, they might stand a chance. Adel says that Elsharia is located in Adan, which is enveloped in a dark veil and that he’ll need an Elemental Ark to break through. Kyle tells Adel Roland took his Elemental Arks, but Adel says that that alone wouldn't work, since he’ll need to use it to Solaris to break through. Adel then tells Kyle to head to Mordana, where Solaris is located.

After this, Adel begins to vanish, telling Kyle that the path he’s chosen is the righteous one, that he’ll be watching over him and telling Kyle one last message he needs to deliver to Rei. Everything is engulfed in light as Adel tells Kyle the world is in his hands.

When Kyle wakes up, he’s at Theria’s house, where everyone else is already awake. Rei says that he carried everyone here, and then Kyle delivers Adel’s message: “You’ve got this. Believe in yourself to unleash your potential”. Then, he tells the party about Elsharia and Solaris. Everyone gives a speech, finding renowned motivation to move forward. We see Roland watching the starry sky, saying that he just needs to combine the Elemental Arks with Solaris and the doors shall be opened to them. And then laughs like a villain.

Meanwhile, in Imperial Capital Aldana, Beyland prays for Kyle’s well-being.

We switch to the reunion room of the Capital, where Granadas informs Shida that Beyland has taken care of the 4 Lords of Ruin and Divine Soldiers. Granadas wonders where Roland is, and Shida responds that he acts as he sees fit and then leaves Granadas in charges.

Meanwhile, in Blaze Garden, Lagrobos worries about Lilebette.

Meanwhile, in the Silver Society, Zaix askes Lenius if it’s okay to let them go. Lenius answers that it’ll work out, and that they have another role to play in all this.

Meanwhile, in the White Laboratory, Lily can hardly contain her excitement, telling a white haired girl that looks like Theria that it’s their time to shine and calling this mysterious girl Alice.

Meanwhile, the group is ready to leave Samel and go to Mordana so they can reunite with Theria ASAP.

Meanwhile, in Adan, Theria and Ruuto are headed towards a temple where Ether is hard to detect, and there they will regroup and prepare for a drawn out battle. Loug Mekia appears, and Ruuto asks Theria if she’s ready, and the siblings get ready to fight. Ruuto asks Theria if she thinks Kyle will make it to Adan, and Theria says that she’s sure of it.

     Chapter 5
Our heroes take a boat to Aldana, where Kyle has a flashback of the first time he was with Theria in a boat ride. Zekus says that while they were fighting Zouglas, Blaze and Aldana were attacked by the other 3 of the 4 Lords of Ruin, but Beyland and Lagrobos fought them off.

We change locations to Imperial Capital Aldana, where Granadas, Beyland and Shida are talking about other worlds. Granadas asks where Zaix and Maja are, and Shida replies that he doesn’t know where Zaix is, but that Maja is at Lougahn, the closest place to Adan to report the situation there. They also discuss their alliance with Blaze. They say that the level of Loug Mez in the area is increasing overall, and Beyland goes to the Grana Seas, leaving a message for Kyle: “don’t die”. The meeting then ends.

Our heroes arrive at Capital Aldana, where they once met with Galbor, who’s speaking with some ladies. After a discussion about how cool and hot Zekus totally is and talking shit about Lilebette, the ladies go away, leaving a very furious Galbor behind.

Our group meets with Shida and Granadas, telling them all that has happened overall. Zekus then talks about the possibility of someone knowing about the other world that Roland mentioned, and that such a person could wait for that world to open and get to it before Roland, causing a new disaster. They briefly discuss Zaix and the Silver Society, and Shida mentions that even he doesn’t know much about it. Zekus then says that since Zaix mentioned the Elemental Arks belonged to him, the Silver Society had control over the Elemental Arks in the past.

Zekus then theorizes that Zaix requires the Elemental Arks for something, and that Roland got to them before to avoid that from happening. Also, Roland is intending to use the Elemental Arks to counter the threats of the otherworld, but there is no solid proof for all of this.

Shida then gives permission to the party to travel to Morgana, reminding Kyle of their promise to give him the Elemental Arks once they’re done using them. Grandas says that in order to get to Badal to take a ship to Morgana, it’s best if the party goes through Arden Border, since their bounty has been lifted and Bartz wants to meet with them.

When the group reaches the Arden Border, they meet with Commander Bartz. After talking for a while, Galbor and his men also appear. After a motivational speech by Galbor about how bad he wants to dine with the Algata Force, he summons a machine called the Galboran DX, who runs over his own men. Bartz orders another soldier called Isaac to help the men who fell and then, our group gets ready to fight the Galboran DX.

After the group defeats the Galboran DX, Galbor has a flashback of a previous dinner with the Algata Force, and Galbor’s men storm to fix the Galboran DX. After defeating the Galboran DX for a second time, the party finally gets rid of it. Zekus tells Galbor he’ll arrange for the dinners to continue. Galbor thanks him, and the issue is resolved.

The party arrives at Crowded City Badal, where they eat at a local dinner. Zekus talks about Shida and Lilebette talks about Blaze, her Gramps, Dilmordo and Lagrobos. Kyle asks Lilebette about her parents, but she doesn’t talk much about the issue and leaves with Rei.

The party takes a boat to Mordana, where Lilbette wonders if her parents could be fine since Ruuto returned from being turned into Zouglas. Lilebette then says that her parents might be along the rest of the Lords of Ruin, but that would be much of a coincidence and she doesn’t hold her hopes up. Kyle then says to not overthink things, to hope for the best and that he believes Davan is still alive.

We see that Zekus and Rei have been talking in the meantime, and Rei wanders about the possibility of being brainwashed by the God of Ruin once more.

The party arrives at Port Town Marquida, where Zekus info dumps a bit about the place and then the party goes to a nearby diner to discuss things. They plan a route to an islet at the northwest corner of Mordana, since Shida mentioned that this is where Solaris is located. An earthquake strikes the area, with a local mentioning that they’ve been happening as of late.

Our party begins their route at the Mordana Sea of Sand, which is filled with huge animal bones since huge animals used to live there, but the land fell to Ruin long ago. A Grandworm soon appears, blocking the party. They easily defeat it, but Zekus notices that it’s weird that’s so many Grandworms in the area, and something must be happening underground.

Arriving at Yellowed Land of Kandra, where sand spills everywhere. Another earthquake strikes, and Zekus mentions it might have to do with Solaris and Roland messing with it.

The scene changes to Blaze Garden, where we see Lagrobos, Muren and Dilmordo talking about the attack of the 4 Lords of Ruin in Aldana and how Beyland has fended them off, and Lagrobos says that the time of Ruin is near. Lagrobos asks about Kyle and co., and Dilmordo says they’re headed to Mordana. Lagrobos knows they’re there for Solaris, and that they’re in the final stages. Lagrobos then notices someone, and says that he’ll be out to talk to an old companion of his.

We switch scenes to Lagrobos talking with Lenius in front of a star-filled lake. Lagrobos says and I quote: “I never thought that I’d feel your power. How in the world- You’re…your body…I see. Hundred of years since that war” Lenius replies yes. Lagrobos then says: “Perhaps, Adel as well…” and Lenius answers “Yes, of course”

Lagrobos then excuses himself for not helping, but Lenius says to not worry and that there was no other option. Lagrobos then asks why now and that Lenius is controlling that body with the soul transference. Lenius then says that the God of Ruin is returning and perchance, this is the result of it. Lagrobos then says that all worlds are becoming more unstable.

Lenius asks for Lagrobos’ help against Lougseus once more, but he refuses, saying he has no interest in the disputes between humans and Gods. Lenius then says that no others can stand a chance against the God of Ruin. Lagrobos then mentions that the young ones will, and Lenius mentions that it’s a possibility, that even if there are heroes in this day and age, there will surely be a price to pay. They talk for a while more, and then Lenius leaves, desiring to laugh by Lagrobos’ side once more if they do.

After trespassing in the hot desert, our heroes arrive at Belnalina’s Limestone Cave, where Rei and Kyle don’t think twice before jumping into the nearby water. Lilebette also jumps in after knowing the water is safe. The group takes a deserved break, but not before long, they hear a mighty roar from deep in the cave.\\\

Zekus says that the beast doing those roars could be the Eldwyrn Nero Dusk. He also mentions that the beast is mentioned in records of the Mordana Republic, known as the Mordana Kingdom, a land famous for being saved by White Knight Melza. He then says that the militia couldn't defeat the dragon and sealed it underground, and that Nero Dusk can’t move unless the seal broke.

As the group gets deeper into the cave, the closer the groar gets. Suddenly, a Gate opens and Nero Dusk appears in front of our heroes. They manage to defeat him, but Lilebette wonders where the Gate came from, and Zekus says it was more likely a trap, teleporting Nero Dusk from behind the seal when visitors enter. Lilebette then mentions that if that’s the case, Roland and his followers already know they’re headed to Solaris.

Lilebette asks what Solaris is anyway, but Kyle doesn’t know because Adel didn’t tell him, but that it must be a weapon, since it has power to break the Adan mainland’s wall. Rei then mumbles to himself that Lenius might be involved too in the Solaris ordeal.

We change locations to the inside of Solaris, where Lily reveals herself as the one who let Nero Dusk out its seal, and we see Alice floating in the heart of Solaris.

The group reaches Kol Heid, a place filled with lava, thunderstorms and raging mountains. Zekus says that the land is highly unstable, and thunder doesn't ever end. Then adds that it might be an effect of Solaris. The party has no luck finding Solaris, but they move on nonetheless.

The scene changes to the inside of Solaris, where Roland and Lily watch Alice power up Solaris with her ether power. An Imperial Soldier says they have enough power to put Solaris online, so Roland uses the Elemental Arks alongside Alice’s Ether. Roland leaves as he lets Lily do her thing.

An earthquake strikes the land as Solaris is brought online, making a giant fortress rise from the ground and into the sky. Seeing this, Zekus says to return to town since the only transmission base is there. They panic knowing they can’t take an airship, since the only one available belongs to the Emperor.

We switch back to the interior of Solaris, where Roland laughs like a villain. He rambles about an unknown civilization, an unknown continent, an unknown world and that he shall open the Adan seal, reseal Lougseus, absorb the divine power and take on the world to come.

Lily laughs behind Roland, having Alice alongside her, and proceeds to betray Roland, reiterating that only a descendant of Adel can control the Elemental Arks. Then Roland mentions how Lily made Alice with enough ether to bring Solaris online and using priestess power to reseal Lougseus.

Then, Roland reveals that Alice follows no order but his. Lily asks if Shida is responsible for this, to which Roland says that he is. Lily, watching all of this, releases her true power as an Advocate of God whose data does not match that of Lougseus. Then, Lily reveals that she’s turned Aldanian troops into divine soldiers. Lily then claims that Adel’s bloodline is quite a nuisance to her and she’ll be sure to eradicate it. And then, a fearsome battle begins between Roland and Alice versus Lily.

The party goes back to Port Town Marquida, where they eat as they discuss their current situation. All except Zekus, who tells the party that the Emperor’s skyship has been stolen just a few hours ago by someone. Zekus then gets a call, and the caller is none other than Zaix.

We cut to Zaix being in the Silver Society, telling the group that he knows about their current situation and that if they want to go to Solaris, they’ll have to go to the Mordana castle ruins and then hangs out.

After trespassing some quicksands in the Eastern Mordna Sand Sea, they reach the Mordana Ruins, ancient residence of the royals before the people overthrew the monarchy. Zaix appears, rambling about Theria and Ruuto.

Rei then mentions Lenius, which makes Zaix realize that Rei has his memories back. Seeing that, he decides to play hide and seek with the party. After the party defeats some beasts, they reach Zaix. He talks about how Rei hasn’t told the party anything about the Silver Society, Lenius or himself, and decides to battle our heroes.

The party fights Zaix, but they can’t defeat him. Zekus begs for Zaix’s help, and Zaix mentions that the way to get to Solaris is through the ancient weapons lab commonly known as Pandora, a secret base past the Mordana Canyon and to the east of Lake Milna, which contains the facility that controls Sky Fortress Solaris. Zaix explains that originally, it was constructed by the Silver Society to battle the God of Ruin, and that inside Pandora, there’s a teleporter to get into Solaris, since it's the true storage facility of it.

Rei tells Zaix how a pain in the ass he is and to tell Lenius that he’s gonna do exactly what he pleases. Zais laughs and says he’ll pass the message. Zaix leaves the key to Pandora behind for our heroes. Kyle thanks his help, and then Zaix disappears.

We cut to Roland and Lily fighting fiercely. Alice aids Roland, telling Lily she’s not her puppet, and that to serve Roland is her own will. Lily then g Roland, but he’s saved by Lanceveil and Eliza. Lanceveil and Eliza retreat alongside Roland, as they leave Alice to fight Lily, who opens a Gate to go onto another dimension where she can freely kill Alice.

When our heroes journey through the Eastern Mordana Sand Sea once more, they are encountered by a type of wyvern-type Storm called the Flame Storms. After fighting them, Zekus realizes that this attack was likely coordinated by another powerful dragon.

After passing the Mordana Canyon, our heroes arrive at Lake Milna, where Zekus says that under certain conditions, you’ll see the vision of a village in the lake, one that should not exist. Kyle also mentions that Lake Milna is where Godhunter Shin appeared. While Shin’s fight with Lukiel was in Lanzelia, Shin was originally from Mordana.

Our heroes finally reach Pandora, where everything is broken down. Lilebette says that she couldn’t fix the machinery in there, but her Grandpa or Meredy might be able to do it. Lilebette says that Meredy is Murren’s apprentice and that she travels the world to study engineering. The group decides to venture deeper into the facility, but their tracks are stopped by machines which are facility guards, but Rei defeats them easily.

The group begins to search for the teleporter, but they only manage to make Pandora develop its final defense system, Last Wall Lambda. When Lambda mentions a mission, Zekus tells everyone to not damage it overly, and the fight begins.

After stopping Lambda, the machine scans for the master key that our heroes now have thanks to Zaix, and opens the emergency Gate to Solaris. Turns out that Lambda had the teleportation device inside of it, seeing how it’s the final defensive system that will only appear when the alert level is at maximum and that if they didn’t have the key, the Gate to Solaris wouldn’t have even opened. Zekus then says that it’s probable that Zaix was responsible for configuring Lambda into fighting the party in the first place. Everyone leaves Pandora as they enter the portal that goes inside Solaris.

Our heroes finally reach the interior of Solaris, where they are obstructed by divine soldiers.

We switch to Lily, who’s ready to go after Roland but then somehow senses Kyle and waits there for him.

We switch to our heroes, with Rei worrying because he felt a weird scent coming from ahead and getting a bad feeling.

Our party reaches Lily, who explains how she’s defeated Roland and that the fortress is not a mere weapon, but a mobile city which was made to defeat Lougseus long ago, a fortress Adel and Lenius once drove. Then she tells the gang the source of Solaris’ power is an ocean of ether and elemental, and the only ones that can use it are holy maidens, the kin of goddess Lilahah and Adel, who received the protection of the goddess. Then, Rei finally recognises Lily as an Advocate of Goddess Lilahah.

The fight is fearsome, and Zekus and Lilebette fall, leaving Rei and Kyle being the only ones still standing. Kyle knows he can’t lose there, and Rei marches forward. Lily proceeds to kill Rei. Kyle tries to stop Lily, but he can’t. Lily laughs maniacally as Rei disappears, leaving nothing but a beam of blue light behind….Kyle stands up, consumed by anger as he charges against Lily.

We switch to Rei, who’s in limbo talking with his other half, Lagreign, telling him to give him his powers. Lagreign tells him that if he does, Lougseus’s brainwashing will win and that the best choice is that he stays dead for he is a divine beast of Lougseus who could annihilate the world. Rei doesn’t listen, and makes Lagreign watch his memories. The promise he made with Megeus and Davan and being alongside Kyle. He then says he made a promise to protect Kyle forever.

We see Kyle trying to defeat Lily on his own, but he’s clearly overpowered. Lily is about to kill him when she’s struck by blue lightning. Then, in a blue ball of lighting, Rei appears, having regained his Divine Beast powers. Kyle can’t believe his eyes, and Lily neither. Rei easily breaks Lilahah’s barrier, which surrounded Lily until now, and then Rei heals the rest of the party.

Lily enters psycho mode and wants to kill Rei due to being a divine beast, provoking a local dimensional teleportation and turning into Lily Matter, a cosmic horror. Rei gives instructions to the party in order to defeat Lily, and the party is ready for combat.

The cosmic horror falls, and our heroes return to Sky Fortress Solaris, where Lily disappears as she calls Lilahah’s name. Rei goes back to his magical beast form, and Kyle proceeds to tell him how worried he was in his own way. Rei says that the reason he shifted to his original form is because during the battle, the Lougsean brainwashing came in, and that he was able to resist it now, but if he stays a divine beast, there’s no telling what might happen.

Rei then says that the Lougsean army is going to attack at once. Kyle finds it perfect, but the rest of the party not that much. Kyle says to rush to Adan and reunite with Theria and Ruuto ASAP. The party discusses this for a while, but they agree to rush to Adan. Gates begin to open all over Granzelia while our heroes soar the skies in Solaris.

In Imperial Capital Aldana, we see Granadas and Beyland talking, and Belyland says he leaves Granadas in charge of the capital. Both of them wish the other to not die.

Meanwhile, in another dimension, Zaix fights Loug Mez.

Meanwhile, in Blaze’s skyship, we see Lagrobos and Dilmordo talking about the upcoming fight and how Lagrobos can’t guarantee Dilmordo’s life, but that his existence exists for his sake ever since then.

Meanwhile, in the Emperor's skyship, Roland awakens, seeing Eliza and Lanceveil by his side. He realizes he was wrong on his path. Lanceveil says that Kyle and co. are fighting for the same ideals as he is, trying to save everyone over the world.

We switch to Aldana again, where Shida says activate the Aldana Shield over all territories, to transfer all guild command authority since Beyland is busy, and to divert all guard divisions to defense of the capital. He asks Maja over a communicator how things are going, with Maja saying that the God of Ruin is returning to life.

He then asks about Kye and co., with Maja saying they’re advancing toward the Adan Barrier. Soldiers then report to Shida that the Emperor’s ship has been sighted southwest, and Shida replies that that’s quite the inauspicious direction.

We then see Adel in the place Kyle saw him the last time watching over our heroes, wishing for the best.

We then switch to Lenius, also watching from the Silver Society.

We then switch to an unknown location (which looks like a cave of some sorts), where we see two hooded figures, the purple figure that we saw at chapter 2 and the hooded figure from Kyle’s flashback from chapter 4.

From a Gate, Davan’s skyship appears, with Davan himself on the deck of the ship.

Meanwhile, in Adan, we see Ruuto and Theria fighting Divine Beasts side by side, with Theria calling for Kyle.

Meanwhile, in Solaris, the group gets ready to enter the Adan Mainland.

     Chapter 6
Our heroes fly through the Icelantic Ocean Skies of Adan Territory, with Lilebette and Zekus figure out how Solaris work and both of them compliment the other on their skills. Kyle ponders why Lily fought them if she was an Advocate of Lilahah, and Zekus theorizes that the Goddess, Lenius, Adel and Sera are all still alive.

Kyle ponders why everything is so quiet, but then Rei reveals that Loug Mez are plaguing all of Granzelia, with Zekus saying that the people of Granzelia will fight to protect each other and to believe in the people of the world and the friends he’s met, and that they must focus on defeating the God of Ruin and breaking the cycle of the Spirit Maiden’s Seal.

A temblor hits the skyship, portals appearing and sprouting Loug Mez everywhere in the sky. Kyle and Rei decide to fight on the deck while they leave the controls to Lilebette and Zekus. Things aren’t looking good for our heroes, since the main engine has been brought down, and Zekus begs Kyle to not let the enemies get closer to them, or they’ll lose too much ether and the ship will crash.

Then, Solaris detects an unidentified object from the rear. Kyle goes to investiGate from the deck, surprised as he sees the missing Imperial Skyship 12 break from the clouds, with Davan on top of the ship's desk and later, the Blaze Skyship joining as well, with Dilmordo and Lagrobos on the deck. Help has finally arrived.

Watching the unbelievable sight, Kyle rushes inside of Solaris, where Zekus and Lilebette can’t believe their eyes. Davan contacts them, and Zekus asks about where he’s been, but Davan says that it’s a long story. Kyle and Rei join Lilebette and Zekus, with Davan mentioning how glad he’s that Kyle is still alive.

Davan and Labrobos mention that they’ll handle the enemies in the sky as the party rush onto Adan, with Empire and Blaze working side by side for a common goal. Davan then tells the gang that the world is in their hands, to save the Spirit Maiden and to protect the future of Granzelia. Kyle thanks both Labrogos and Davan as they charge into Adan.\\\

The party finally enters Adan after crash landing in Adan. The group then recaps their goals while they’re there: find Theria, obtain Elsharia and defeat the God of Ruin. Rei knows where both Loug Mekia (the Divine Beast Ruuto took with him when Theria and himself entered Adan) and Elsharia are, and the group heads north. Zekus worries about Rei, knowing he could turn to the enemy side anytime.

Kyle discusses how Davan’s ship looked different than before and the situation both Davan and Lagrobos are in, but Rei says they’ll be fine. Dark Beast Ligoria, the Fiend of Adan, appears in front of our heroes, ready to end their journey.

After defeating the beast, Zekus says that Adan was once a beautiful kingdom lush with nature’s splendor, whose people worshiped Lagduell, Creator of All. Supposedly, there was a temple dedicated to the Creator.

Lilebette then questions what Gods exactly are, who’re the ones who made this world, why do they want to rule people and destroy as they choose. She also asks why Lilahah didn’t save people like during the Great War of Ruin, and she doesn’t get why Lily tried to kill them. She also questions if they’ll have to fight Goddesses Lilahah as well.

Our heroes arrive at Orog Forest, where the plants and animals all seem to be suffering, begging for mercy. Zekus mentions that the ecosystem might have been changed due to the vile influence of the God of Ruin. Lilebette asks if they’re not gonna be affected, and Rei says that it’s a possibility. Then explains that they’ve got their own power to protect themselves from the God of Ruin’s influence and to not worry, but to not drop their guard down.

With beasts swirling everywhere, Zekus says that they must watch out for the 4 Lords of Ruin. They are soon attacked by a plant-looking while beast. The party has difficulty defeating it, with Lilebette wondering if they’ll get stronger as time passes. Rei answers that they will. An earthquake strikes the land, with Rei mentioning that it’s a sign that the seal is about to break. Everyone feels the power of the God of Ruin, and Rei mentions he finally found Theria in a building in the north. However, Elsharia is on an island in the northeast, so the party has to split in two.

Lilebette and Rei part to get Elsharia, and Zekus and K Kyle part to rescue Theria. After a bittersweet goodbye, the group splits into two.

Lilebette and Rei reach the Adan Strait, where even the sea itself has been corrupted. Rei notices Lilebette is worried about the rest of the group, and Rei tells her a take of Kyle rescuing a kid and fighting for hours for him without going down, telling her Kyle will never go down and no matter what happens, he’ll be waiting for his friends to come. Lilebette feels better after the talk, thanking Rei and moving forward.

Lilebette and Rei arrive at Medim, a supply base during the Great War of Ruin. Rei explains that thanks to Sera’s barrier, the divine soldiers can’t set foot in there. Rei and Lilebette then talk about how amazing Sera was, and then the pair is stopped by normal beasts.

Lilebette and Rei finally reach where Elsharia is. Rei grabs it, praying to Sera to lend them her might as he collects it. An earthquake shakes the land, and Sera’s barrier breaks. Degrouge appears in front of the duo, which says that turning humans into Advocates of God is not an easy task. Degrouge then seems to recognise Lilebette, and says she’s there to destroy the Maiden Light. Degrouge and Rei have a fearsome fight, but then Baran and Rabaala, a pair of Advocates of God, join the fight. Rei beacons Lilebette to fight, but she’s paralised by fear.

Rei is captured by Degrouge, and Lilebette sees herself not being able to move and crying. Degrouge laughs as she delights herself with the sweet sight of realization. Lilebette then realizes that beneath Baran and Rabaala’s helmets are her parents, Regal and Lavaria. Rei says that they’re gone and it's too late for them. Lilebette doesn’t listen to him, and says that she did her best even without them around.

Lilebette begs for her parents to stop torturing Rei, and then Degrouge orders Baran to kill Lilebette, but Lagrobos appears and stops him from doing so. Lagrobos then gets angry with Degrouge for daring to kill Lilebette, and then heals Rei. Rei asks how Lagrobos got there in the first place, but he says he’ll tell him later. Lagrobos asks Rei if he can restore Baran and Rabaala, but Rei says he can’t since their spirits have been turned into Advocates of God. Lagrobos and Rei get ready to fight Degrouge, Baran and Rabaala.

The fight is intense, but then Lilebette gets in the way, begging for the fight to stop. And then, in a single blow, Baran kills Lilebette. Labrobos tries to heal her, but can’t. Degrouge orders for Baran and Rabaala to kill Labrobos, but they seem to be frozen in place. Then, Lilebette starts glowing thanks to Elsharia, and so do Baran and Rabaala.\\\\

Lilebette wakes up in a white place, where she sees Regal and Laveria, her parents. Lilebette remembers the good times when her parents were alive, and the time they left to fight Lougseus 5 years ago. Lilebette cries as her parents excuse themselves for leaving her alone. Regal and Laveria give Lilebette their power, and return her to the world of living, telling Lilebette they’ll be watching over her and her friends from heaven and that they love her.

Baran and Laveria disappear, and Lilebette awakens with a new power which Degrouge calls Soul fusion. Lilebette then joins the fight against Degrouge. Degrouge then turns into a cosmic horror, ready to kill everyone.

The trio defeat Degrouge, and after some consideration, Lilebette leaves Degrouge alive. Rei tells Lilebette that it was Degrouge who turned her parents into Advocates of God, but Lilebette insists to let her go. Rei then says to not blame him if this comes back to bite them. Degrouge then laughs, and Reii feels as the seal of the God of Ruin finally breaks. Degrouge then casts a Gate and disappears behind it. The trio rushes to Kyle.

Meanwhile, in the Runvalla Volcano at Adan, Kyle and Zekus make their way to Theria. Kyle rushes forward, ignoring Zekus’ advice to calm down and be careful. The duo soon encounters a large beast. While Zekus tells Kyle to find another way, the swordsman just rushes into combat.

Zekus gets angry with Kyle as he slays the beast, telling him to cool down, that he knows that Kyle rushes to reunite with everyone else ASAP, but they’ll be fine and to reserve his strength to fight the God of Ruin. They share a long talk about friendship, and Kyle thanks Zekus for the talk.

The duo reaches the Death Grounds, where they encounter black Loug Mez injured by a greatsword, Ruuto’s weapon.\\\

The duo finally reaches their destination: Ancient Temple Axelias. An earthquake strikes the land, announcing the revival of Lougseus. The duo rushes forward.

We switch to Theria and Ruuto, fighting their lives in the deepest part of the temple. Theria laments being too weak for her brother, and urges him to take her life force and seal the God of Ruin with it, resolved in her decision. Rutto slaps the thought out of her, telling her how her friends are risking their lives to save hers, and how her power isn’t to seal the God of Ruin, but protect everyone she cares about.

More monsters appear from Gates, and Ruuto pleads for Theria to stand up and fight. Just then, Ruuto mentions seeing some sort of light, as Zekus and Kyle arrive at the scene. The duo soon join Ruuto on defeating the monsters, with an awaited reunion having to wait for later.

After the battle, Theria rushes to hug Kyle, relieved to see him there at last. Ruuto then confirms that the earthquake just now was probably due to the revival of Lougseus, and that now that he’s back, he and everyone that has been granted Lougseus’ power will be stronger. He then says the temple won’t hold for much.

Zekus then gives Theria something he found in Solaris: a type of medicine that increases ether. Everyone but Ruuto gets ready to leave, with Ruuto saying he’ll stay behind as a gigantic beast appears from thin air. Ruuto tells Kyle to look after Theria as he stays behind to fight, not intending to die anytime soon.

Outside the temple, Kyle, Zekus and Theria see a gigantic black sphere in the distance: Lougseus’ realm. Kyle gives a speech as we see everyone in Granzelia fighting the forces of Ruin, but he’s soon cut by Loug Mez appearing through Gates.

While our heroes fight Loug Mez, Zaix appears out of nowhere. Zaix then proceeds to save Kyle, leaving everyone in shock. Zaix and Kyle fight side by side, and then Zaix tells Kyle to hurry the God of Ruin, asking him if he can’t feel the nasty aura in there being Adel’s descendant and all. At that moment, Gates appear everywhere, with Divine Beast filling the area. Zaix stays behind to fight, having a flashback of someone saying they’ll fight for the sake of this world to their final breath, later mentioning someone called Mia, and tossing Zekus a mysterious ring as our heroes make their way to Lougseus.

Our heroes make their way into Lougseus’ dome, but they’re stopped by Degrouge appearing through a Gate. Dgroude admits that she’s the one who turned Ruuto into Zouglas, and that this is Magnus’ proud creation, this world created by the gods, and Granzelia belongs to Lougseus. Then, Degrouge starts to fight our heroes.

Our heroes are overpowered by Degrouge, and just then and there, a Gate appears and Zouglas appears out of it. Kyle mistakes this Zouglas for Ruuto, and wonders why he fell into Lougsesus’ brainwashing once more.

A bunch of Gates appear behind Degrouge, with the army of Ruin forces, including Baran and Rabaala. Kyle gets ready to fight, and then, behind him, he hears Beyland’s voice. He turns to him, surprised to see him. But he’s not alone. Lanveveil and Eliza drop from the Emperor's ship, Dilmordo appears out of nowhere, and Davan appears through a Gate. Lilebette and Rei also arrive, and our group finally reunites at last. The last one to join is Labrobos, making a full roast to battle the army of Ruin.

The battle is intense, with everyone fighting side by side. Well, everyone...except Zekus, who begins to see how truly weak and underpowered he is. After Theria reminds him he has friends, Loug Mekia appears in the sky. Zekus desires to have the power to save everyone, and the ring on his pocket starts to glow.

Zekus is transported to an unknown place, where he meets Lenius. Lenius teels Zekus he knows about his family, the Foregate bloodline, and that Zekus is a surviving descendent of it. Zekus wants to know more about his family, but Lenius says that there’s no time for that. Lenius claims he will lend Zekus his powers, but on one undisclosed condition. Zekus accepts, and is blessed with the power of Lenius.

Zekus soon returns to the battlefield with renowned power. Lagrobos and Rei recognise it as Lenius’, but Zekus doesn’t disclose it as he shows them the extent of his new power.

Loug Mekia is defeated, and Zekus has a little chat with Lagrobos about how Lenius lended him his power. He then asks Rei if they can enter the black orb, and Rei answers that as long as Theria can use her power, they can. Then, Zekus, Rei and Theria go on to regroup with Lilebette and Kyle.

They are soon stopped by Zouglas, but Ruuto then appears, telling them to leave it to him. Then, they cross Davan, who tells them to be careful, since their minds could be shattered by the God of Ruin and then tells Rei he leaves Kyle under his care. Also, somehow recognises Lenius’ power in Zekus. The group reaches Kyle and Lilebette, with Zaix appearing to fight Degrouge, and tells the group to head to the black orb.

The party finally enters the Realm of the God of Ruin, ready to finally defeat him.

We see Rei as he wanders inside his mindscape. Lagreign appears, telling him that he is Divine Beast Lagreign, closest of all the God of Ruin, and to remember the reason for his existence. Lagreign tells him that “Whenever it be in Granzelia, or Cloudia, we were born to murder all who oppose us”, and that they’ll bring destruction and terror to all worlds.

Rei wakes up, with everyone worrying about him and the possibility of being controlleb by Lougseus. Rei explains that this is Lougseus’ Realm, and that Lougseus is just in front of them, but they can’t reach him. In order to do that, the party has to stop the monoliths, which act like keys to the doors to God. Of course, the place is filled with divine soldiers, but the party moves nonetheless. Lilebette asks Rei where the monoliths are, but he doesn’t know.\\\\

Rei then confronts Lagreign again, telling him that he’ll tear the God of Ruin’s heart out. Lagreign laughs, telling Rei that the humans he cares so much about will die by his hand and that he’ll see him soon and they’ll see who is in control then.

When they arrive at the monoliths, Lilebette notices that the language written in there looks like the one in Solaris. Rei explains that they are machines to siphon out negative human emotions, which are the source of the God of Ruin’s power. The party wonders how to stop it, and then Kyle touches the monolith and accidentally activates it.

Each time a monolith is deactivated, Rei feels Lougseus’ power creeping inside him. After defeating the 4 monolith guardians, the monoliths stop working, opening the gate to Lougseus.

As the party returns to the Central Hall, a beam of light opens the path to Lougseus, but just then, Rei loses control of his body and mind as Lougseus begins controlling him. Zekus, Lilebette do their best to contain him and Theria tries to revert him back to normal, but she can’t. Kyle calls for Rei, but he is too far gone. The party (minus Kyle) fights Rei, begging him to come back.\\\

At first, Kyle doesn’t want to fight Rei, screaming his name as he tries to open his eyes. Kyle remembers his times with Rei, approaching him as the rest watches. Rei doesn’t listen to Kyle as he begs for him to come back, restraining him. Kyle screams his name again, making Rei regain consciousness and begging Kyle to kill him. Kyle just hugs Rei, telling him to keep fighting. He then begs Theria to try to free him, and then Elsharia shines within Kyle, as he steps forward into Rei’s mindscape.

Kyle awakens in Rei’s mindscape, which takes the form of his own home in Ladour Village, only that everything is colored red. When Kyle steps outside, he sees Rei and chases him, but he’s soon surrounded by divine soldiers.

Kyle follows Reii into Mildra Forest, just in the place they both met. Rei soon appears, thanking Kyle for saving him. However, Kyle asks him who the figure in front of him is, knowing that he’s not the real Rei. Lagreign then reveals his true nature, telling him that the real Rei is in front of him, and that the one he knows is a product of Sera destroying Lagreign’s consciousness. Lagreign then tells Kyle that Rei no longer exists, for he has devoured him.

Lagreign tells Kyle that he’ll take his revenge on Sera, the spirit maiden who once destroyed him, on him in the stead of Lord Lougseus. The fight between Lagreign and Kyle begins.

Kyle is relieved to see that Lagreign and Rei aren’t the same, and he begins calling for Rei. Rei eventually breaks free and descends to aid Kyle as a blue ball of thunder helping him defeat Lagreign.

With Kyle and Rei joining forces, they defeat Lagreign. Kyle faints, having a flashback of his younger day, when he told Rei he’ll go to the capital to be an Imperial Knight in front of Rei, telling Rei that he’s his friend even if he’s a beast and that he should become a knight too.

The scene switches to Central Hall, where Kyle is being healed by Theria. After waking up, the party celebrates everyone is okay and everyone resolves to head up to finally take down Lougseus and finish everything once and for all.

When the party arrives with Lougsus, they’re surprised to see that he can communicate, and Kyle begins asking him questions. Lougseus says that the world is an ether farm for the gods, and to tribute it to the Spirit Maiden if the party wants him to no longer take the lives of those on this world. Lougseus then makes the heroes choose between giving it the Spirit Maiden as tribute or offer their lives to him to become the spark of a new world.

Kyle is glad to hear Lougseus is a jerk, and that they’ll defeat it without reserve. Lougseus agrees, and the final battle finally begins.

Just when our heroes think they’ve defeated Lougseus, he begins to drain their Ether, but Theria protects everyone with a barrier.

Meanwhile, outside Lougseus’ realm, everyone else struggles in their own battle. Lagrobos begging for Kyle to hurry up.

Back to the group, everyone worries about Theria, with Rei telling her to save Adel. Lougseus calls Theria the Maiden of Binding, and tells her that there’s no greater thorn in the side of Gods than her. And then proceeds to give her a death threat. Kyle begins to hear a voice telling him to use Elsharia. Kyle recognises this voice as Adel’s. Elsharia shines within Kyle, and everything goes white.

Kyle’s soul is transported to the place that Adel always appears in, where Adel appears in front of him. Adel tells him to raise Elsharia towards the heavens, which makes Sera appear. For a moment, husband and wife share a short reunion, and then Sera disappears and turns into light that bathes Kyle in power. Kyle begins to glow in red, with Adel explaining that this is his power, one that he can use to battle even in the realm of the Gods. Adel then apologizes to Kyle, saying that this world is a product of their sins. Adel wants to explain, but tells Kyle to save this world as thousands of mysterious hooded figures appear in the sky and take Adel with them.

Kyle wakes up back in Lougseus’ realm, standing up as a pillar of fire undoes Lougseus’ Ether drain. Lougseus recognises the contemptible power that Kyle now has, and Kyle grabs his sword as a bright red glow emanates from his chest and flames begin to flow all over his body, finally unsheathing his sword as he accesses his shift form.

Rei tells Kyle to slash the barrier, so he does, surprising Lougseus since no human could be able to do that. Everyone is transported to the realm of the Gods, and Rei mentions that from now on, their power will be able to affect the Gods directly. Lougseus’ true form appears, and our heroes get ready for the final, ultimate battle.

After the party finally defeats Lougseus, they are transported back to Central Hall. The party celebrates victory, but Zekus is concerned about the state of things outside the Hall. Just then, an earthquake begins to strike the land, and the monoliths begin to beam out all the negative ether inside them, making the land around it begin to rumble. Rei mentions that Lougseus wants to take them down with him, and that they need to get out of there ASAP.

Lougseus, who’s not 100% dead, summons a bunch of divine soldiers. Everyone is too weak to move, but just as things seem desperate, Sera materializes from Elsharia, telling the rest to leave this to her. Rei knows what he has to do, and stays behind as the rest of the party runs away. Kyle doesn’t let him, but Rei insists, so Kyle decides to go with everyone else. Sera says she’ll shift all of Hall into another dimension, and Rei covers her.

Kyle, Lilebette, Zekus and Theria reach the barrier out of Hall. With a swing of his sword, Kyle sends everyone but him past the barrier, explaining that he’s gonna stay behind and fight by Rei’s side, just like Theria did with Ruuto in the past. Kyle says farewell, but just before he leaves, Theria says he loves him and begs him to please not die, to which Kyle replies with a simple “thank you” as he goes away to help Rei.

Just as Rei starts to feel overpowered, he hears Kyle’s voice as he rushes in to help. Rei questions Kyle why he’s there, and Kyle says he’s where he’s supposed to be: with his family. Rei gives it a thought, reminding his time with Kyle as he realizes he sees Kyle as his family as well. The duo of brothers fight side by side to protect Sera. Sera says she’s finished, and Rei tells her to do it. Sera tries to reply, but can’t. Sera grants both Kyle and Rei the protection of the Spirit Maiden as she shifts Hall into another dimension.

Outside of Hall, Lagrobos and Davan watch as Hall explodes. Credits roll as we see everyone who fought in Hall alive and well, the Gates all over Granzelia close, and peace is restored to Granzelia. Zaix leaves through a Gate. We see Shida at the capital, talking with Maja as we watch Maja with the Elemental Arks in another location. We see Degrouge in an unknown location, alive and ready for revenge.

We see Zaix talk with Lenius, with Lenius telling him that Degrouse still has a role to play in all of this. Lilebette, Theria and Zekus reunite with the rest, as they hope Kyle is still alive. Theria tells Kyle to wait for her, and that one way or another, she'll find him.

The next time Kyle wakes up, he’sin a strange field on the mountainside. He wonders where he is, searching visually for Rei, but not finding him anywhere. He recalls how he defeated the God of Ruin and watches in shock, wondering where the hell he is as he stares at the sea of clouds beneath the land.

Arc 2

     Chapter 1
After getting sent to another world, Kyle tries to find Rei because he's nowhere to be seen. After saving a kid from a beast, he arrives at a village where he meets with Leona. Also, Kyle joins a guild because he got robbed and he needs the money to buy food and all of that.

Anyway, after kicking some Divine Beast ass along with some soldiers because they wanted to tax the people on something called faith (which is a kind of life force, so if someone takes too much that person could die), Leona and Kyle decide to go to the capital together because Leona wants to save someone and Kyle thinks that Rei might be there.

Anyway, they start their journey to Imperial Capital Grandar and Kyle soon realizes he's, in fact, been sent to another world and he has no idea if he can go home or not… Ah, also Leona and Kyle are being followed by a Grandar Commander called Barcello.

After some more trials, Kyle and Leona reach the capital, but they can't go in so they decide to climb the ramparts, but before that Barcello reveals that Leona is, in fact...a princess! And the one she wants to free is her father, the King, who has been brainwashed by Mayly, an Advocate of the Goddess Lilaha (like Lily).

After that, they go climb the ramparts and when they reach the top, Barcello shoots Leona and then Mayly appears revealing that she controlled Barcello to shoot Leona. Kyle, in his infinite wisdom, decides to jump down from the 100th floor with an injured Leona. And then Mayly shows how evil she is by killing a random dude.

Meanwhile, in Granzelia, everyone is freaking out about the fact that Kyle and Rei got sent to another world and they start to wonder how they're going to get him back. Theria and Lilebette go with Meredy (a friend of Lilebette) to investigate Solaris because someone took the elemental arks and instead they find...Alice! (aka Theria's clone).

Meanwhile, Zekus discovers that Maja (church dude) and Shida (the chancellor) are busy becoming God after stealing the elemental arks. Zaix goes to help him fight them, Zekus and Zaix get their asses kicked and then they get saved by Lenius.

After somehow surviving a 100 floor fall, Kyle and Leona finally arrive at the capitol! Just one problem: Leona is injured and there are soldiers everywhere. After kicking some soldier ass, Kyle retreats. Then, a Resistance member meets Kyle and tells him that the Resistance can help Leona. Together, they travel the sewers which have beasts with radiation poisoning to arrive at the Resistance hideout.

Meanwhile, Mayly is notified that Kyle and Leona are alive. At the same time, at Penal Island Panthorbane, where Thouser the executor reigns supreme as the prison guard, Rei has been held as a prisoner! Thouser wants to steal Rei's power, but Rei literally spits on him. Then, Thouser gets called by Mayly to capture Kyle and Leona, but he refuses and tells her to send Leodore (Leona's dad).

Back at our heroes: Kyle reaches the Resistance hideout, where he meets Ardine, the leader. Ardine tells Kyle about their plan to fuck the temple's security where Leona's father is so they can go inside it and Kyle says he's in.They take flying motorcycles to arrive there. After kicking some divine beast ass, they arrive in the main room, but...it's a trap! The Resistance hideout is in trouble! Then, our heroes are met with Mechagod, a killing machine that Kyle takes out with no problem.

Then Mayly herself shows up and Kyle activates his shift to kick her ass. Mayly goes to Leodore for help but he just steals her power and lets her die, mentioning how he’s not used to this new body and that it's a matter of time before the Three Emperors find him. Meanwhile, Ardine and Kyle decide to get back to the Resistance hideout to help.

Meredy is still trying to open the portal to Cloudia and since Alice was found by Lilebette and Theria, Meredy plans to use Alice to open the portal. There's a small problem though: Alice has been infected by a virus and she may explode. So Meredy sends Lilebette and Theria to find some rocks at the Kaldina ruins to help with the portal thing, which they do but not before defeating the ghosts of Sevia, Robin and Gorm. They won't allow them to obtain the rocks but then Theria activates her shift and the ghosts recognise her as the Spirit Maiden and give her permission to get the rocks. And like that, the problem is solved.

Back in Blaze Garden, Roland shows up since he's heard about Alice being in a coma and offers a peace treaty to the Blaze, actually apologizing to them and even offering a position on the Council of Ten to Lilebette. Anyway, he goes to see Alice and Theria uses her powers to send Roland inside her mind space and save her.

After going through some of Theria's memories, Roland finds Lily, which is the cause of the virus. Turns out that she's now working with Shida and she wanted to use Alice to give him more power. She goes on to almost kill Roland, but she doesn't because she needs the blood of the great hero Adel to turn Shida into a God. Through the power of love and friendship, Roland and Alice unlock their shifts and kick Lily's ass together, but Shida saves her from death at the last minute.

Back to Cloudia, Leona is recovered and kicking soldier ass! But not to worry, because Ardine and Kyle come to the rescue! Meanwhile, Barcello is finally free from Mayly's control and decides to follow Kyle on his journey, even if that means defying his superiors. He grabs some weapons and proceeds to go to the Resistance Hideout where he drops a nuke on the enemy soldiers, apologizes to Leona and tells Kyle he'll go with them.

The Resistance Hideout is compromised, so Ardine decides to abandon it and head to the headquarters. In the way, the group takes a small break and Ardine finally learns about the whole deal of Kyle coming from another world and Kyle learns where Rei dropped when they were isekai'd and that he's still alive! Unfortunately, Ardine doesn't know where he is right now, but he tells Kyle that maybe they'll find that info in the Resistance headquarters.

     Chapter 2
With soldiers and machines everywhere, Kyle & co. set off to leave Imperial Capital Grandar. After some trouble, they arrive at the Southern wall, where they bypass a bunch of EX Soldiers and even fight one! We also know that Ginny is a hacker at an elite group called CDM. When our party finally leaves the city, they arrive at a cragway, where Leona finally gives in to her injuries and has a sweet flashback of her with her dad when she was young. Kyle decides to stay behind while everyone else gets to the Grandar Resistance hideout, with Ginny telling him to go to the southern edge of the desert and that he'll find the Resistance Hideout there. Kyle agrees and decides to go...

Meanwhile, Zekus finally reunites with Lenius. Lenius tells Zekus that they're in the Silver Society, which happens to be located in another world called Lilahammer, Divine Cage, which was sealed off by Lilaha for some reason. Then, they proceed to go to the place Zekus was born so he can know more about the Forgate bloodline: a village called St.Palm.

On the way there, we learn that Lougseus also existed in Lilahammer and that Zaix is originally from Lilahammer. Zaix has a flashback of fighting Bahamut with the Phantom Crows squad, which included Mia. In this flashback, one of the members says that the rest of the squad is fighting against Lagreign (aka Rei).

The squad reaches a door called the Conjury Gate, a magical place made by magic. After fighting the Tempress, who's here to destroy Zekus and his whole bloodline, Zekus opens the door to the Conjury Gate (something doing with the Forgate family being the only ones being able to open it) and everyone gets in.

On their journey, they are stopped by a Prefect of God, which are overseers that serve as the eyes of the Goddess and also are the people who are keeping Adel captive.

Turns out this prefect is Mia (or it's using Mia's body), so Zaix goes a little bit crazy and refuses to attack her. Lenius gets captured and Zaix and Zekus get stuck in another world where they have to fight Bahamut, Rabaala's dragon.

After defeating it, we learn that the world Mia sent Zekus and Zaix to is called Belnaazura, where the souls of dead mages end up in.

After a fight between Zekus and Zaix over if Mia is or isn't being brainwashed, they get out of Belnaazura, but something goes wrong and Zaix gets stuck between dimensions and Zekus goes missing.

Back to Cloudia, Kyle is on his last legs. Being alone in the desert is making him hungry and tired, but he can't rest since enemies are still following him.

The scene changes to Panthorbane, where Rei is being held captive. Thouzer enjoys watching Rei scream when a girl named D'dii shows up and requests to see Thouzer. Thouzer stops the torture to meet with D'dii and she delivers the news on Mayly being dead.

Thouser asks who did that and D'dii says that it was Kyle. Thouzer then sends a soldier to Leodore's place and tells him to make Leodore send all the intel he has about Kyle & co. Thouser sends D'dii to the Resistance headquarters and tells her to go after a guy named Graphel. Thouzer then proceeds to go after Kyle.

Rei is relieved to know that Kyle is also in Cloudia, but also worries about his safety.

Back to Kyle, he tries to fight against anything against him, but eventually he gets too tired and gets surrounded by enemies. Just when he believes he's done for, a dude shows out of nowhere floating in the sky, 1 hit KO's the monster float, turns the ground into hellfire, tells Kyle to fight to the death for no reason, and so they fight.

The mysterious guy is annoyed that Kyle is holding back, Kyle goes into shift form but then the mystery dude gets a mystery call and has to call the duel off. Then, mystery dude proceeds to 1 hit KO Kyle, Kyle falls unconscious, mystery dude introduces himself as Ryvern and then leaves.

In the end, two hooded figures are seen collecting Kyle's unconscious body.

Under the heat of the desert, Ardine, Barcelo and Ginny carry an injured Leona as they make their way to Resistance HQ. They wonder why Kyle is taking so long to catch up, worrying about him. With low supplies and no signs of help from HQ, things get worse as the earth trembles and a huge worm beast called Sandscrouge Marda Kamma appears. Not only that, but the place is a kamma nest, and the place is filled with them.

Just when things get bad, Ardine begins to hear the sweet sound of an engine: help has arrived as the Harmattanchaf St.Rose, the resistance’s ship, arrives at the scene. A resistance soldier tells Ardine that General Graphel ordered to get him.

Ginny explains to Barcello that the St.Rose is a dual-purpose battleship developed to crush the empire on both land and air, and that she can submerge herself in the desert and sail across the cloudseas. The group enters the St.Rose as the ship makes its way to HQ. Inside the St.Rose, the resistance members begin to heal Leona.

In his dreams, Kyle has a flashback about the morning before leaving Ladrour to go to the Imperial Capital in order to become a knight. Kyle questions Rei about his father, about what kind of person he was and why he left him. Rei gives Kyle his iconic sword, a farewell gift from his dad (though Rei doesn’t say it directly) and that once Kyle is able to wield it like a champ, he’ll be one step closer to him. Kyle looks at the familiar-looking sword, but pays it no mind as the duo leave.

Kyle wakes up in a strange place, where a soldier of Leaguora greets him and tells him to follow him. In their way, Kyle sees tons of lifeless people. Kyle arrives at a place where he meets Vayne, where he introduces him to the Town of Dustbound Souls, Leaguora. He further explains that when someone’s soul is snatched by the tool of faith, they wind up there, doing their best to try and stay alive.

Kyle explains to Vayne that he can’t stray there because he has to meet with Leona, and Vayne asks him if she’s with the Resistance. Vayne says that a lot went down between him and the Resistance once, but that he’ll tell Kyle how to get to the Resistance with one condition: become the champion of the arena.

Kyle refuses, and then Vayne offers him a choice: leave his sword behind or become the arena champion. Also, Vayne knows Kyle’s name even if he hasn’t told him. Kyle agrees to do the arena, and Vayne tells him that in order to do that, he’ll have to bring him a beast shard from the lowest floor of the abandoned ruins under the town. The soldiers don’t believe Kyle will make it back alive since he’s an F-rank, but Vayne thinks otherwise.

Kyle reaches the Leaguora Underground, where he remembers his encounter with Ryvern. When Kyle reaches the lowest floor of the Underground, a huge machine appears in front of him, ready to eliminate the intruder. Kyle defeats the beast, and takes the beast shard necessary to pay the arena entrance fee. Meanwhile, Vayne is checking on Kyle with his “gift” (he’s a “seer”, according to his shift), one that even the Empire fears.

Back at the St.Rose, Barcello and Ginny talk between each other at the dock. Ginny tells Barcello that the Resistance uses technology from St. Palm, using them to not just heal people, but it was also used to build the St.Rose. Barcello asks why the Empire isn’t using this technology as well, and Ginny mentions that the Empire hates St.Palman tech. A Resistance member informs the duo that Leona has awakened, and to please go with him to calm her down.

Our party (minus Kyle) arrives at Resistance HQ. Barcelo worries as he sees Leona standing and walking on her own, but she says she’s fine. Their conversation gets cut by Graphel, Leona’s and Ardine’s maven. Ardine introduces her to Barcello as Graphel, founder and general of the Resistance. This shocks Barcello, but Ardine explains she’s older than she looks, which makes Graphel kick Ardine into the nearest wall. Graphel asks about Kyle, and Ardine tells her the situation.

Graphel says that if he’s not in the desert, he’s at Leaguora. She says she’ll activate their agents and that since the Three Emperors are in motion, they’ll also make their move…

Kyle reaches the arena, where he proceeds to one-hit KO a dude named Ashton, making Vayne excited for a match with him in the future. We see Vayne one-hit KO a dude, and Kyle knows that his fight against Vayne won’t be easy.

After the matches, Vayne invites Kyle for a meal, where Kyle talks about his encounter with Ryvern. Kyle then asks Vayne why he helps the people in Leaguora, where he explains to him that he can’t let the people of the city just die, talking some shit about Graphel and the Resistance and that he became a champion of the arena to give people hope. With this, Kyle sees that Vayne is a good guy. We then see a purple robbed figure finding Kyle.

We switch to Thouser reuniting with Leodore. Thouser recognises Mayly’s power inside Leodore while he mentions once more he’s not accustomed to this body. Leodore says he can’t enjoy his new power, and that he doesn’t know about Kyle, but knows where he is. Leodore then mentions the Three Emperors have made their move, to annihilate the Resistance and that Kyle can be dealt with later. However, Thouser says he’s sent D’dii to deal with the Resistance, but Leodore insists that this is the Goddess’ will and to annihilate the Resistance. Thouser leaves the throne room and decides to do as he pleases.

We switch back to the Resistance HQ, where Leona is all patched up at last. Leona talks with Barcello, Ardrine and Ginny discussing Operation Storming Elmaria (the temple where Leodore is) and the fact that they need to meet back with Kyle for it. The HQ is suddenly attacked, sending it into red alert. Ardine contacts Graphel, who doesn’t know how the enemy got past her magic barrier. Communication cuts, and the group moves to meet Graphel in the control room.

Ardine, Leona and Barclelo fight the intruders, and Graphel instructs them to go to the dock because she thinks the ringleader is there. When they arrive there, the air is filled with poison. The responsible for this is Poison Eater D’dii, a maniac with poison flowing through her veins. A killer to wipe out rebel elements and tool of faith refusers. After a heated discussion between D’Dii and Leona, D’dii gets ready to fight.

Leona tells Barcello to heal those who have been poisoned and remembering her promise to Kyle, she gets ready to give her all. Ardine joins her, but the duo soon get overpowered by D’dii’s poison. When the situation seems dire, Graphel appears, healing the duo and cleaning the air from D’Dii’s poison as a powerful light emanates from her as she gets ready to fight.

Meanwhile, Kyle is facing Round 2 of the Leaguora arena, where he fights Eld, a summoner. Kyle waits for Eld to do his thing and quickly disposes of the beasts he summons and Eld himself, easily winning the round. Vayne is impressed by Kyle’s strength, mentioning that he wants to fight him soon.

Back at the Resistance HQ, Graphel and D’dii’s fight continues. The fight is cut short when D’dii receives a call from Thouser, who tells her to return and prepare for the soul fusion. D’dii asks what he’s gonna do and Thouser says he’s going to Leaguora and crush the place, revealing that the Black Knight (Kyle) is there.

Thouser hangs out after giving Graphel a death threat, and D’dii reasons with Graphel so she lets her go to not cause more deaths from Resistance members and Grandar soldiers alike. Graphel agrees and lets her go, ordering to get everyone treated. Graphel calls for Leona and Ardine, and the two talk about D’dii being a bitch and that the Black Knight of Leaguora has to be Kyle. Graphel confirms this, telling the duo to go to Leagurora and that their opponent is not Vayne, but Thouser. She also tells them to come back alive.

Before leaving HQ, Barcello tells both Ardine and Leona that this is as far as he goes as he wants to pursue his own way. Ginny tells him there’s a schmetterling for him and tells Ardine he had a feeling about all of this. Before partying, Leona and Ardine remind Barcello that they’re got his back as his friends and to come visit anytime.

Back to Kyle, he’s onto the Semifinals now. After a chat with a Leaguora soldier, he faces his next opponent. This opponent is Manoph, who narrowly lost to Vayne last competition. However, Manoph has a dark aura around him that’s making him act strangely. Suddenly, he turns into a beast known as Grand Wraith Mabulius, also known as the scourge, who's been resurrected after being sealed in the past.

Everyone panics as they start to evacuate the place. A soldier looks for Vayne, who rushes to the arena, trying to avoid another tragedy. However, Vayne doesn’t move as he sees Kyle unphased by his opponent, thinking it’s another summoning trick.

Kyle defeats Mabulius with ease, making him disappear. Everyone cheers this victory, gushing about how the scourge is a monster that swallows up everything, and that only someone like Vayne could defeat it. Kyle wants to fight Manoph next, but he yields and Kyle moves to the finals.

Vayne and Kyle meet outside the arena, where Vayne asks Kyle if he only wants the Resistance location. Kyle is confused at this question, but then one of Rei’s feathers falls out of his pocket. Kyle remembers when he got it, and Vayne tells him to give it to him. Vayne asks Kyle if he’s only looking for the Resistance, and Kyle replies that he’s looking for his family and that the Resistance might know where they are. Vayne tells him that if he wins the finals, he’ll tell Kyle where Rei is, since he just saw where he is.

We switch to Leona and Ardine going through the desert, who talk about D’dii and Vayne. Ardine explains that Vayne is part of the Jira clan, the desert dwellers, whose leader was the Master of Sands Veda. This tribe resisted the empire with their advantage in the desert and guerrilla tactics.

In a flashback, we see how Veda worked alongside the Resistance. Graphel wonders why Leodore allied himself with a God, and watches the power of the Empire as it tries to crush the Resistance. However, Veda stands against them on his own, dying as he fights with everything he’s got. He asks Graphel to take care of Vayne as his dying wish.Ardine tells Leona that Vayne was with the Resistance for a while, but after Veda’s death and seeing Graphel’s incompetence, he quit and started fighting the Empire his own way.

The duo is soon attacked by a machine, who they defeat with ease. However, with their ride long gone, they have to make the rest of the journey by foot.

Leona and Ardine reach the Wrathful Wasteland, a place filled with the souls of the people of Grandar. They find a half-dead Grandar soldier, questioning about the safety of his brother. He blames the Empire as his body disappears.Ardine asks Leona if she’s ready to face the darkness born from the toll of faith, the voices of the people she had a duty to protect. Leona remembers her duty as the princess of Grandar and that if the Empire created this place, she’s not gonna look away as she moves on to end this tragedy.

Ardine tries to contact HQ, but can’t. The duo soon start to hear footsteps, hiding away as they see the Imperial Army making its way to Leaguora. Between the army and Thouser, Ardine knows backup from the Resistance will be required. Leona makes a plan to meet with Kyle as Ardine goes back to request for backup. Ardine tries to argue with her, but at the end, he agrees with her plan. Ardine tells Leona to not die, and she answers that she won’t.

Zaix arrives at a mysterious place called The Path of the Prefects with Zekus nowhere to be seen. There, he meets again with PoG (Prefect of God) Mia, who tells him he’s trapped there forever and that she’ll set him free from despair. Zaix is soon transported to a past version of D’Anabarasium, where troops are fighting the forces of Ruin.

Zaix soon meets with Eneil, a member of his previous squad, the Phantom Crows. Zaix lashes out at them, saying he killed them and making them disappear. PoG Mia asks Zaix why he killed his friends, and he answers he’s always fought alone. Soon, Log Mekia appears, with PoG Mia explaining that this place is a combination of their memories. Eneil appears to help Zaix, and together they defeat Loug Mekia. Zaix turns to Eneil, but they’re gone.

Zaix goes back to the Path of Prefects where he meets with PoG Mia. She explains that she’s getting rid of Zaix’s memories to liberate him. Zaix lashes out at her, but he soon finds himself in another memory of his. He watches a memory of Mia, Loxis (member of the Phantom Crows) and Eneil as Mia goes through Lougseus’ mind contamination. Past Zaix tells her that he’ll kill her if she slows them down, and Mia agrees to this if the right time comes.

Walking through a forest, Eneil mentions Freid (member of the Phantom Crows) being defeated by Lagreign. Zaix mentions that this event was the last straw for the team, since Dian died and Clovis and Vella got their minds contaminated and went all crazy. Zaix tries to remember Eneil’s name when listing his friends, but can’t.

Then Lagreign appears, the memory makes everyone else disappear and Zaix is left alone to fight the Divine Beast. The fight is intense, with Zaix protecting his friends. Lagreign is defeated thanks to teamwork, with his mind slipping away for a second. PoG Mia mocks him for this, but Zaix tells her he hasn’t forgotten anything.

Zaix has a flashback where Mia asks Zaix if he remembers when he joined the team, reminding him of the promise he made of killing her if the mind contamination got her, but Zaix replies he doesn’t know what she’s talking about.Zaix awakens on the Path of Prefects, with Zaix arguing with PoG Mia, where she tells him he’ll join her side soon.Zaix is thrown into another memory, where the group is fighting Rabaala. Rabaala wants to turn Mia into an Advocate, but Mia isn’t having any of it. Zaix doesn’t remember any of this, assuming Mia fought her without him.

Zaix starts to fight Divine Soldiers that appear from portals, trying to understand what’s going on.Zaix remembers how everyone of his teammates died after the fight with the Divine Soldiers, but Rabaala still remains there. She summons Bahamut, trying to kill Zaix.

Zaix fights with everything he’s got, but he’s soon cornered. Suddenly, Vella, Freid, Clovis and Dian show up to help him. Rabaala soon disappears, and so do Zaix’s teammates. Zaix tries to remember their friends, but can’t.Zaix walks the Path of Prefects, wondering where he is and why he’s there, feeling like something is slipping his mind. He just can’t remember. He wonders where Zekus and Lenius are. He chases after Mia, but she’s soon replaced by PoG Mia. PoG Mia says that the Phantom Crows made Zaix weak and that she’s removing them from Zaix’s memories to become stronger. She challenges him in order to be together in this world.

The fight is intense, and Zaix is struck to the ground. Zaix remembers Eneil and Loxis telling him that they had no choice and that Mia was Lougsean by then, but Zaix doesn’t understand and lashes out. Back at the Path of Prefects, Zaix is back up, reliving Mia’s strike and avoiding it this time around. Zaix is struck again, but after another flashback about how Zaix was immune to the mind contamination and that his friends can’t let him go, he’s back up again as if time itself rewinded.

PoG Mia shows Zaix a flashback of Loxis and Eneil ask Mia to kill them before they turn to Divine Soldiers. Another flackbacks shows the team asking Mia to join Adel’s forces, but she denies so, explaining they would only hinder them.

We then see Mia and Zaix walking, with Mia telling Zaix they made a promise at St.Palm and they now have to contact Lenius. She also tells Zaix he can leave the Phantom Crows. Zaix refuses, telling Mia he’ll be there as his shield ‘till the end.

After sharing a moment where both confess their feelings of wanting to be together forever, the flashback moves on to a fight with Rabaala. Mia struggles to fight back the mind contamination and asks Zaix to kill her as he promised before it's too late. However, Zaix just can’t do it. Loxis and Eneil do the job for him, killing Mia.PoG Mia explains how friends and loved ones are useless, but Zaix calls bullshit. PoG Mia transforms into an Archbeing, ready to save Zaix from his troubled past by erasing it. Ready to make him accept the Goddess’ favor. We see Zaix in an unknown black-and-white beach, soon finding himself talking to Mia. Zaix tells her to leave him, as he doesn’t remember anything anymore. Mia gives Zaix a heartfelt speech about how she wants to free Zaix from his eternal bonds of friendship and that she wants to be with him forever.

She tells Zaix that his love for his friends saved her, telling him he’s not alone anymore. She hugs him as she disappears, trying to make him remember his time alongside his comrades. Meanwhile, in Lilaha’s realm, we see PoG Yuda bestowing two AoG a divine message from Lilaha. She tells them to initiate the capture of Adrastea. AoG Labyreth complaining telling he’s taking the zards (dragon people). AoG Eber says that it’s reckless, for if they have to face Megius, they won’t end up unharmed and that the Ether farm should be their priority.

PoG Yuda sees no issue, and makes them proceed anyway. To ensure the operation, PoG Mauna will join them in their quest. AoG Eber tells the Prefects that The Celestial shall be theirs as both Advocates and the Prefect march towards their sacred mission.

Back in Leaguora, Vayne and Kyle both get ready to fight at the arena finals. The time finally comes, and both men give everything they have, fighting intensely. Suddenly, Leona shows up, stopping the fight. Kyle rushes in to hug her, being relieved to see she’s okay. The ground shakes, as the Empire reaches its destination and starts destroying the place, with Thouser leading them.

Vayne quickly recognises Leona as Leodore’s daughter as she hurries with Kyle to protect the city. Then, Vayne gives a motivational speech to the citizens of Leaguora as he swears to protect them alongside the city. He gives orders to his men and hurries to help Leona and Kyle.

Leagurora is in shambles, everyone is dying left and right as Thouser asks about Kyle to a Leaguora soldier. He says he’ll lead him to where he is if Thouser spares his life, but just as he begins walking away Thouser kills him.Leona and Kyle arrive at the scene, not hesitating to fight the enemy and help the people of Leaguora. Vayne soon joins the pair, revealing he killed the desert dwellers, his people in the past. Putting their differences aside, Vayne, Leona and Kyle fight together to protect Leaguora.

We switch back to Panthorbane, where Rei is being held. D’dii is already there, asking a soldier to put the machine that’s taking Rei’s energy to its maximum potential. The soul fusion is almost ready, and with Thouser returning soon, everyone in Panthorbane gets ready to act when he does… D’dii fantasizes about the moment when Thouser gets that power and with it, the rulership of Grandar.

Back in Leaguora, Kyle, Leona and Vayne arrive at Thouser's location. Vayne can’t move as Thouser threatens to kill more of Leaguroa’s citizens if he does. Thouser doesn’t care about Vayne, only about Kyle, the one who killed Mayly. After a small conversation where Thouser’s evilness is further established, Kyle goes onto his shift form (surprising Vayne and Leona) and fights Thouser while Leona and Vayne are forced to watch without intervening.

The fight is intense, but Kyle has the upperhand and Thouser is forced to retire. A gate opens, the soldiers get ready to open fire against the innocent Leaguora citizens…and then Ardine appears. Kyle tries to stop Thouser, but then an enormous beast appears to stop him. Before Kyle can stop Thouser, he gets away.

Everyone joins forces and defeats the beast with ease. Ardine tells Vayne that he’ll lend him the Resistance troops to help everyone and clean the city from Imperial soldiers.

After everything ends, Vayne verbally fights Ardine and Leona. Leona can’t comprehend why Vayne is being hostile towards them, asking if it’s because Graphel let Veda die. Leona steps up and tells Vayne that he needs companions to fight, just like Veda did.

After talking some reason to him, Vayne accepts to help the Resistance upon one condition: Graphel’s life. Graphel accepts (she heard everything from Ardine’s transmitter) Everyone agrees to go back to HQ after a deserved rest.Kyle and Leona talk at a nearby inn about Vayne’s situation, but Kyle knows that Vayne isn’t a bad guy and means no harm to Graphel, only wanting to project his own weakness onto her. Kyle then tells Leona that Vayne knows that he needs friends to get what he wants and that he’s happy to have allied with Graphel once more.Meanwhile, Vayne recalls Veda’s question about what he can do for his friends, revealing that Veda was in fact, Vayne’s father.

Kyle wakes up the next morning, and everyone gets ready to head to the Resistance HQ…by foot. They soon decide to take a break, updating Vayne on the entirety of Kyle’s story. Vayne tells Kyle that Rei is in Panthorbane thanks to his second sight ability that Veda also had, telling Kyle that he’s planning something. Leona remembers about the soul fusion Thouser and D’dii talked about back in HQ and everyone (except Kyle) connects the dots to know what’s going on.

Kyle tries to reason everyone into going ASAP, but Ardine tells him that it’s impossible to reach Panthorbane, and to rush to HQ. So they do. Vayne makes sure that everyone has a safe journey through the desert.

Meanwhile, in Panthorbane, Thouser finally merges with Rei’s power, and Rei falls unconscious…

Back to the Resistance HQ, Graphel makes a risky move making everyone start Operation Daybreak. Graphel delivers a motivational speech to the troops as they fight the forces of the Empire. Ardine, Leona, Kyle and Vayne arrive just in time to meet with her. Graphel approaches Kyle and says that the St.Rose is ready to go and rescue Rei. Ardine tells Graphel that the group will join the revolution after Rei is secured.

'Meanwhile, in Granzelia', Lagrobos and Meredy have succeeded in using a Gate to Capital Aldana, where they meet with Granadas and Beyland. After chatting for a bit, the group meets with Roland. There, Roland reveals that Lagrobos has joined the Council of Ten.

Meredy lets the group know that the Elemental Arks are being used on Lougahn, and theories that Maja and Shida are trying to dimension-hop just like they are. She also confirms that Solaris was a colony that could hop between dimensions and used the power of the Elemental Arks.

Roland decides to go there, knowing both Shida and Maja will be there. He asks about Zekus, but Beyland says he’s still missing. Lagrobos offers Lilebette and Theria to help Roland, but he answers that they should focus on finding Kyle. He also puts Lagrobos in charge of Granzelia while he’s gone. Both Beyland and Roland prepare to make their journey by sea.

Beyland and Roland make their way to Malboria Caverns, reminiscing about old times and mentioning how Phantom Thief Robin’s treasure is still being searched in there.

After slaying some beasts, the pair makes their way to Seaside Granada. The duo sees that there’s some sort of commotion going on, and Beyland says he’ll investigate as Roland stays in the Hotel Noir-Sierra. Upon arriving at the place, Roland is met by the glance of the people…

Beyland soon discovers that the fiend of Odal, Tide Beast Megalodon is back, a fearsome beast that’s written in the legend of Kaldina the Great, that fell due to a massive tsunami. Some imperial ships were taken down by the beast, it seems like the town is doomed…

Roland hears the news and says to depart to the Grana Sea to slay the beast. Beyland soon follows him, not without getting distracted by some ladies first.

Roland reminisces about Shida’s warning of an inevitable battle between them. Soon, Beyland arrives and Roland asks his opinion about the possible existence of other worlds and their possible advanced technology.

Roland then explains to Beyland that Shida is like he was in the past, a person who wants overwhelming power. He then reasons that even if he got that power, it would be no different than being ruled by the Gods. Soon, the boat starts to shake as Megalodon makes its appearance. Everyone starts to attack it, including Roland. After taking the Megalodon town, Roland decides to get back to Granada.

Meanwhile, in Blaze Garden, Lilebette meets Murren and tells him that Meredy’s back. They soon reunite with Meredy, Theria and Alice. Meredy then drops the news that Zekus has gone missing. Lilebette and Theria agree that Shida might know where he is, and to go to Lougahn, but Alice says she’ll go and that the duo should prioritize the rescue of Kyle.

Alice further explains that the Dunrandal will work even without her there, and Theria askes Alice if this is about Roland. Alice says it is. Everyone eventually agrees.

Back in Seaside Granada, Roland and Beyland have a heartwarming conversation, Roland decides to go on his own, getting ready to go to the sea again. The boat soon arrives at the Lougahn Trench, when it suddenly gets attacked by wyverns…the divine soldier kind.

Roland quickly defeats them, but more keep arriving. Suddenly, time seems to stop for all but Roland. It is then when the Black Oracle appears, and they soon reveal themselves as Degrouge, who has also gained power from Shida just like Lily did. They soon engage in combat.

After fighting a bit, Degrouge reveals that Lougseus might be alive, for as long as the Maiden is with a descendant of Adel, the same cycle will repeat. She also questions Roland about Lougseus’ soul whereabouts and his Creator. She soon engages in combat again, taking her Archbeing form, Black Archbeing Degrouge Dana. Roland agrees with Degrouge in not knowing a lot of stuff, but that he will keep going to learn.

Roland is able to overpower Degrouge with ease, and Degrouge fades away as time resumes in the real world. The divine soldiers are gone, and the boat soon reaches Lougahn. Roland proceeds to the tower alone.

Once in Lougahn, Roland encounters a few members of the Church of the Creator, and soon tells them to fuck off. But the members of the Church tell him that they’ve been ordered by Maja to kill him, and soon Aldanian soldiers turned into divine soldiers appear, alongside some divine beasts. Roland remembers about everyone he’s fighting for and proceeds to fight.

Roland defeats the enemies and keeps climbing the tower, where a summoning ceremony is taking place. Roland tries to stop it, but can’t, the summoners dying one by one. Soon, Abaddon the All-consuming appears in front of Roland, ready to eat him alive.

Roland sees that he can’t defeat him, no matter how much he tries, but soon Alice arrives at the scene to help him. They soon defeat Abaddon, and Roland soon questions Alice’s presence. She says she’s only doing what Roland told her to do: live her life as she wished. And right now, Alice wants to be with Roland.

Meredy calls Roland and tells him to quickly destroy the device powering Loughan, since the ether amount it is collecting could wipe out the entirety of Aldana. The call soon jams out, and both Alice and Roland hurry to the top.Roland and Alice finally get to the top of the tower, where Maja and Shida welcome them. Roland asks about Zekus, but Shida mentions he went with Lenius. Shida tells Roland his evil plan to control the ether and manage souls. Alice notices that the device is going to fire, and Roland tells Shida that he’ll stop him, for he was once like him.

The fight is intense, but it's too late. The device fires, and a Magnus Gate opens in the sky. Suddenly, an Antigod appears (Antigod Zaylon), descending upon Granzelia from the portal. The creature soon attacks, and Shida calls for a temporary truce.

The Antigod is slayed, but then the Gate activates, sucking Shida and Maja alongside it. Soon, Roland and Alice follow him, getting sucked as well. The whole of Lougahn then disappears, teleporting to who knows where…Everyone around the world seems to notice almost immediately, the black portal still visible in the sky…

'Meanwhile, in Cloudia, in Fortress Adrastrea'…Divine beasts and soldiers are attacking the place, with the Emperor’s forces fighting them. Advocate of God Labyreth and Eber quickly plunge into them easily, but soon they're stopped by…Goroth?! Blood Rose also appears. The soldiers recognise heroic spirits summoned by Summon Emperor Nael, focusing on the divine soldiers. Lukiel and Shin defeat a mechagod, and soon Metatron, an advanced version of the mechagod, shows up.

Nael watches from up in the fortress, with Yashamaru informing her about the situation. She tells Yashamatu to have Melza’s troops switch to defense. Soon, Mauna appears, and Nael quickly teels Yashamaru to take command of the center and quickly engages on Mauna, questioning if the equilibrium is upset.

In another zone, Davan walks towards the control center, being watched over by Megius and a man called Bouleau. Davan says he’ll take care of the advocates as Megius deals with the mechagod.

Then, Herschel, another member of the fortress defenses, urgently calls Megius telling him what happened in Granzelia, telling him that the waveform is linked to Lost Magnus. Megius tells Herschel to activate the Celestial and that he’ll go there.

After some discussion, everyone agrees. Megius knows he’s in danger, since he’ll play into Lilaha’s hands, but he can’t afford to lose Granzelia. He knows Adrastea won’t fall and tells Davan that the rest is in his hands.

Some of Nael’s heroic spirits face Metraton, while others face the Advocates. However, nobody lasts long. The soldiers ask for help while Davan rushes to the battlefield. Davan tells Nael that Megius is going to Lost Magnus, and she tells him that she’s okay with it.

The situation seems hopeless, but soon, Netherlord Ryvern shows up. Everyone freaks out, and Davan asks for all troops to retreat into the fortress. Ryvern asks Nael to handle Mauna, but she tells him to focus on his own job. Labyrinth and Eber soon go to face Ryvern.

Meanwhile, Megius gets ready to go to Lost Magnus. He can’t afford for Kyle’s hometown to get destroyed. And so, he parts away, letting Kyle to Herschel…

Back on the St.Rose, our heroes are crossing the Maras Cloudsea. Kyle and Leona joke about jumping down and discovering what lies beyond them. Vayne joins them and talks about a certain beast who lies in the clouds they’re on. Soon, a meeting is called and the group goes into the ship. Ardine talks about Panthorbane, and how it is an island in the middle of the cloudsea. Then, the group plans a route to it because they can’t land on the island itself due to the weather. Their only chance is to cross the Dazaria Mountains, where Rei was found.

Soon, the group reaches the Cambert Incloud, where Kyle thinks back to where his journey started back in Crismon Beach. Then, Kyle shares a conversation with Leona about D’dii as the ship hits some heavy turbulence…no, it’s much more. The ship is being attacked by dark divine soldiers. Everyone gets on deck to defend the ship.

Suddenly, the ship starts going down, and it’s due to thunderclouds. No, something worse: the ship is being attacked by the Cloud God Murda Yuvvis. Ardine soon commands to go full speed ahead. Despite her best efforts, the St.Rose is going down, and now the group is going to crash into the Seluen Mountains.

Everyone seems fine after the crash, with no men lost. The new plan is to reach Star Reader Hill, then go to the Grandar Ramparts and from there, reach the Dazaria Mountains. The group begins their new journey towards Panthorbane.

The group reaches the Den of the Deadly Vernim, where Ginny shows his skills as ex-CDI by mapping the area out. Then, Vayne asks Kyle about the defeat of the God of Ruin, but he can’t believe anything Kyle tells him. Ardine and Vayne have a small discussion, but soon stop when they notice they are surrounded, for they are in a Phalmega nest.

The group faces the Phalmega, and soon reaches the egg chamber. The group tries to quietly go through it, as the Palmega queen is guarding the camber, but soon Kyle falls to the ground and the Queen attacks the group. The group defeats the Queen, and all the small Phalmega run away. The group is beat, and it’s all thanks to Kyle. The group marches forward.

The group reaches Star Reader Hill, and Leona thinks back on the last time she was here. This is the place where everything began, where Leona’s destiny changed. With newfound determination, the group marches towards the Grandar Ramparts.

The Ramparts are a mess, and machines, soldiers and even civilians are caught in the War of Revolution, a war to end the oppression, suffering and exploitation of the people of Grandar. The group faces the Grandar soldiers as they reach the nearest Resistance hideout. Soon, however, a new model of the Empire appears, and the group makes their best effort to finish it out.

After the machine is defeated, the group reaches the Resistance hideout, where Leona and Kyle re-meet an old friend: Guildmaster Gilbert. Vayne recognises him as Great Prime Blade Gilbert, and Ardine is shaken to know he’s helping the Revolution.

Ginny explains that Gilbert used to be the Grandar Imperial Army’s Chief of Staff, commander of the Independent Assault Force who fought on the front lines, the great beast slayer in all of Cloudia and even called at one point King Leodore’s right-hand man.

Gilbert gives orders to the hideout members as the Empire sends more Guardians out, and tells the group to reach the Dazria Mountains from north of Morbiuswald. Kyle and Gilbert make a promise to stay alive, and Gilbert tells Ardine to lead the capital to him.

As the group reaches Morbiuswald, Ginny explains that he is returning to the capital to help Graphel and help jam the comms of the enemy, for that is his battlefield. Everyone agrees, and wishes him good luck. Now, without him, they face the cold of the Morbiuswald…

As the group settles to have some food and warm up, Kyle talks about Lilebette, Zekus, Theria and Rei to everyone else. Leona then tells Kyle everyone helps him because they believe in him, but Kyle doesn’t understand her. Everyone resumes their journey after a short respite.

As the group makes their way into the Dazaria Mountains, they are hit by frozen winds as they try to navigate them. The wind turns into a blizzard as the group finally sees a building in the distance, charging into it. Two guards guard the entrance, but they soon are dealt with as the group finally goes inside the building and shelters themselves from the freezing blizzard.

After a small discussion between Vayne and Leona, Ardine ends up in the ground after a kick from Leona’s part…the group soon reaches an elevator that takes the to the Morpheus Skyway. The skyway, however, is filled with machines of the Empire, and the group starts to fight to get to the other side…

As the group marches forward, a new model of the Empire shows up, a summoner model that the group has to defeat to finally get out of the skyway. They defeat the machine, as they march towards the elevator on the other side. The elevator that will take them to their destination.

The group finally reaches Penal Island Panthorbane, but there’s nobody to be seen outside the prison. A Gate soon appears, and from it, Thouser. Kyle asks him where Rei is, and Thouser informs Kyle that he is dead. Kyle soon shifts into his Lord Knight form and charges towards him. However, Thouser emerges intact, now fused with Rei’s divine beast powers.

The fight against Thouser is intense. Vayne tells Leona to get into the prison and search for Rei while Kyle, Ardine and himself fight Thouser. Now, Leona is going into Panthorbane, the lion’s den, on her own.

Leona starts dashing towards the deepest level of Panthorbane, level 5, in order to know if Rei is alive or dead. However, the way won’t be easy, for soldiers of the Empire and machines are in her way.

Meanwhile, the fight against Thouser continues, while D’dii is watching his every move. She soon goes to face Leona herself after a report from one of the guards of Panthorbane.

Leona soon reaches Level 5, and soon faces D’dii. She is willing to show her where Rei is, to make her look at how he’s already dead. Leona is guided to Rei’s cell, where he lays on the ground, unconscious. Leona begs for him to wake up, but D’dii tells her that he’s no more of a husk unable to think or stand up. D’dii then gets ready to fight against Leona and make her join Rei in the afterlife.

Leona fights with all her might, but soon gets defeated. Meanwhile, Ardine and Vayne struggle against Thouser, and Kyle fights with all he’s got against him.

Back with Leona and D’dii, Leona is struggling to keep breathing, when she hears a mysterious voice (Rei) begging her to break him free. Leona launches a powerful attack, but her target isn’t D’dii, but Rei. She faints shortly after, and D’dii claims her victory a little bit too soon.

Rei soon goes to Leona’s side, healing Leona. Rei asks where Kyle is, and Leona tells him that he’s facing Thouser. D’dii underestimates Rei as he shifts into his Divine Beast form, and then Leona realizes who he truly is: the legendary beast of the Grandar Ramparts.

Rei soon defeats D’dii, but doesn’t kill her. Leona asks why, and Rei says that Kyle wouldn’t shut up about it if he did. Rei and Leona then rush to meet with Kyle and defeat Thouser once and for all…The Panthorbane guards freak out about Rei’s escape and try to stop Leona and him, but can’t.

Meanwhile, Kyle and Thouser are still fighting. Vayne and Ardine in the meantime, lay on the floor, unconscious. Kyle takes an attack from Thouser that makes him return to normal, but Kyle doesn’t give up. He has to keep fighting for Rei. Trouser is about to release his finishing attack to Kyle, but is stopped by Rei’s lightning.

Rei soon makes his grand appearance, healing Kyle, Ardine and Vayne. With renewed strength, the group gets ready to fight against Thouser once more. Rei and Kyle both take their shift forms as Vayne and Ardine realize that Rei is a Divine Beast. The pair of brothers charge against Thouser, ready to defeat him.

Kyle and Rei fight in perfect sync, while Leona, Ardine and Vayne watch in awe. Rei tells Thouser that the power of a Divine Beast isn’t something humans can tame or have, and then launches another powerful attack against Thouser alongside Kyle.

Kyle goes back to normal, and takes a moment to relax now that Thouser has been defeated, but deep down, Rei knows this isn’t over. Thouser stands up, and his body soon starts to be engulfed into a ball of red light. Rei tells everyone to go get back.

Vayne asks what’s going on and Rei says that Thouser has been devoured, for that is the fate of humans who give in to their greed. Trouser is gone, and all that remains is Thrall of God Aporopolika…a monster consumed by divine power.

Rei tells everyone that they need to defeat it, for if they don’t, the whole place will get consumed. Kyle soon shifts again, ready to fight. Leona, Vayne and Ardine soon join them.

As the Thrall falls, Kyle and Rei go back to their normal form, and finally, the group takes a break. Kyle soon goes to hug his brother, but Rei dismisses it. The two get into a fight, like in the good old times. Leona, Ardine and Vayne question if Rei is really a Divine Beast or not. Ardine then recognises that Rei looks like the Divine Beast of Ruin, Lagreign…

Soldiers then swarm the group, and before Rei gets a chance to fight him, Kyle tells him to make a run for it. Everyone starts to run, ready to go to the Elmaria temple and save Leodore once and for all.
