• Acting for Two:
  • Nolan North voices both Swindle and Hardtop. Also doubles as Significant Double Casting with the two being brothers. The first season finale also has him voice Sharkticon Blitzwave.
  • Nicole Dubuc voices both Skywarp and Nova Storm.
  • In addition to reprising his role as Starscream, Steve Blum also voices the Sharkticon Razorfin.

• All-Star Cast: The voice cast includes Zeno Robinson as Thrash, Kathreen Khavari as Twitch, Alan Tudyk as Optimus Prime, Danny Pudi as Bumblebee, Cissy Jones as Elita-1, Rory McCann as Megatron, Nolan North as Swindle and Hardtop, Diedrich Bader as Dr. Mandroid, Marc Evan Jackson as Agent Schloder, Kari Wahlgren as Executive Agent Croft, Daran Norris as Mr. Smelt, and Clancy Brown as Quintus Prime. Later episodes will see Roger Craig Smith as Breakdown, Troy Baker as Shockwave, Alfie Allen as Tarantulas, and KEITH FREAKING DAVID as Grimlock.
• Children Voicing Children: Mo is voiced by Zion Broadnax, who is 11 years old.
• Cross-Dressing Voices: Robby Malto is voiced by Sydney Mikayla. Averted in Expedition where he's Joshua Evans.
• The Danza: In Expedition, Alex Christian voices Alex Malto.
• Dawson Casting: Nineteen-year-old Sydney Mikayla voiced 13-year-old Robby Malto.
• Descended Creator: Executive producer Nicole Dubuc voices both Skywarp and Nova Storm.
• Early Draft Tie-In: The Robby minifigure included with Spin Changer Optimus Prime was seemingly based on an earlier design for the character, as it depicts him wearing a baseball cap that appears in storyboards for the series, but not any final episode.
• In Memoriam: Done in the credits of the series premiere and eulogizing former Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner, who died in October 11, 2021.
• Ink-Suit Actor: Alex looks a lot like a cartoonified Jon Jon Briones. Averted in Expedition.* Late Export for You: The series was not exported to Japan until October 1, 2023... almost an entire YEAR after the show debuted in North America and well after the first season concluded.
• Playing Against Type:
  • Alan Tudyk is well known for playing comedic or villainous roles, plus the occasional animal sidekick... and he ends up cast as OPTIMUS PRIME of all characters.
• Playing Their Own Twin:
  • Nolan North voices Swindle and his brother Hardtop.
  • Nicole Dubuc voices Skywarp and her sister Nova Storm.
• Promoted Fanboy:
  • In the leadup to the series premiere, Zeno Robinson expressed his enthusiasm in taking part, having grown up with the franchise and mentioning in the same interview that Transformers (2007) was what inspired him to get into acting.
  • Likewise, Tiana Camacho grew up a fan of Beast Wars before being cast as Frenzy in this series. She's openly admitted to Rattrap being her "husbando".
• Queer Character, Queer Actor: Z Infante and the character they voice, Nightshade, are both non-binary.
• Role Reprise:
  • Steve Blum returns as Starscream from Transformers: Prime and Transformers: Robots in Disguise.
  • In the Italian dub, Alberto Angrisano, Antonella Baldini and Dario Oppido reprise their respective roles as Optimus Prime, Elita-1, and Megatron from Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy.
  • The Latin American dub sees Gerardo Vásquez return as Megatron as he has done numerous times in the past. Víctor Hugo Aguilar also returns to voice Optimus after portraying him in the War for Cybertron trilogy, and Alfredo Gabriel Basurto voices Bumblebee again as he did in RID2015.
  • The Hungarian dub is a mix of voice talents of the live action films and various cartoons. Imre Szélyes has played Optimus Prime in all but Transformers (2007), Prime, Robots in Disguise (2015) and Cyberverse. Megatron's Ferenc Borbiczki played the role in all but the fourth live action film, Prime and RID 2015. Bumblebee's Péter Szokol returns from Prime, RID 2015 and Cyberverse. Soundwave brought back his live action film series voice, András Faragó.
  • The Japanese dub once again brings back Tesshō Genda as Optimus Prime and Shigeru Chiba as Megatron. Ryōhei Kimura is also brought back as Bumblebee from Transformers: Robots in Disguise, Bumblebee, and Transformers: Cyberverse, along with Ryōka Yuzuki as Elita-1 from Transformers: Animated, Fairouz Ai as Arcee from Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Yoji Ueda as Wheeljack from Transformers: Cyberverse, and Setsuji Saito as Starscream from the Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy.
• Short Run in Peru: The first four episodes of Season 1's second half were released on an Indian streaming service two weeks prior to their release on Paramount+
• Spoiled by the Merchandise:
  • Grimlock and Shockwave appearing in the show was spoiled by art on the back of the first wave for Deluxe Class toys. Though Grimlock had already appeared in the Retraux flashback.
  • Jawbreaker's eventual alt mode of a dinosaur was spoiled by his warrior class toy.
• The Other Darrin: Everyone is recast in the Expedition video game:

• Trailers Always Spoil: Hashtag's robot mode and Jawbreaker's alt-mode were shown off in commercials on Nickelodeon before their episodes featuring them aired. Jawbreaker's robot mode spoiled when his render was posted on the show's French website.
• You Sound Familiar: A good portion of the voice cast for EarthSpark already appeared in multiple other Transformers shows and films, including Steve Blum's previously-mentioned role reprise as Starscream.
  • Keith David returns to the franchise as the voice of Grimlock, his first Transformers role since Barricade in 16 years.
  • Diedrich Bader previously appeared in Transformers: Rescue Bots as Jules Verne.
  • Daran Norris's best known Transformers role was as Knock Out from Transformers: Prime.
  • Roger Craig Smith voiced multiple characters from Transformers: Robots in Disguise.
  • Nolan North previously appeared as Smokescreen and Skylynx in Transformers: Prime, and Cliffjumper, Brawl, and Bruticus in Transformers: Fall of Cybertron.
  • Nicole Dubuc voiced Bumblebee in most of his guest appearances in Transformers: Rescue Bots.
  • Troy Baker, who voiced Shockwave, was previously Steeljaw in Transformers: Robots in Disguise.
  • Clancy Brown was both Silas and Nemesis Prime in Transformers: Prime and voices Quintus Prime here.
  • Alan Tudyk goes from being Dutch from Transformers: Dark of the Moon to voicing Optimus Prime himself.
  • Marc Evan Jackson previously appeared in a minor role in Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen.
  • Kari Wahlgren previously voiced Victorion in the final parts of the Transformers: Prime Wars Trilogy and Arcee in Transformers: War for Cybertron.
  • In Expedition, Joe Zieja had previously voiced Bumblebee in the Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy, while Bill Rogers did Wheeljack.
  • Jason Marsden was previously Kade Burns in Transformers: Rescue Bots.

  • Koji Yusa voiced Prowl in Transformers: Animated before voicing Hardtop.
  • Yoji Ueda voiced Soundwave, Wheeljack, Maccadam, Ratchet, Alpha Trion, Acid Storm, Drift and Ramjet in Transformers: Cyberverse before voicing Wheeljack.
  • Kenso Kato voiced Waspinator in Beast Wars and Transformers: Animated before voicing Swindle.
• What Could Have Been:
  • Deleted scenes for "Warzone" would've revealed that Starscream was the one who freed Shockwave from cryostasis through having Ravage steal him a remote to deactivate the pod with, following up on the ending of episode 8 in the process. They were cut for time purposes.
  • The storyboards for the season 1 finale show that it was originally Tarantulas who joined in on Swindle and Hardtop's Dynamic Entry. He was swapped out for Soundwave in the final product.
  • Mae Catt indicated at TFNation 2023 that Nova Storm was originally meant to be Thundercracker, but a higher-up vetoed making the character female. It's clear little was changed beyond the name and color scheme, since Nova Storm has Thundercracker's traditional partnership with Skywarp and sonic boom powers.
