    Season One
Secret Legacy, Part 1
  • Hardtop shoving Swindle out of the way of a thrown shipping crate, leading to him getting flattened.
  • The scene establishing the Malto family's dynamic: Dot playfully thumb-wrestling Mo, Alex being a happy stay-at-home husband who adores his wife, who adores him in turn, and their understanding if firm approach to Robby being a typical Phoneaholic Teenager.
  • Despite being content with running away from their new home in Witwicky, Robby finds himself unable to say he is willing to leave his sister behind.
    • Right before that, he immediately stopped in his tracks when he noticed Mo's bike was broken and came right back to repair it.

Secret Legacy, Part 2

  • Dot and Megatron's reunion. Even though the viewer isn't privy to their shared past, their friendly interactions are enough to tell you these are two people who've been through a lot together.
    • Dot isn't the least bit scared by Megatron approaching and lifting her up. She even teases him a bit for his dramatics.
Dot: You always knew how to make an entrance, Megs.
    • Dot and Megatron quoting their old catchphrase at each other.
      Megatron: Terror in the skies!
      Dot: Honor in the streets!
    • Dot saying that working for GHOST might not be all that bad if it means partnering up with Megatron again.
  • The Terrans bonding with the Malto kids by playing in the woods.
  • Hardtop is fully confident that Swindle will come to his rescue. A few episodes later shows he was right to think so.
  • Dot officially adopting Twitch and Thrash.
Dot: These bots are bonded to my children. That makes them family, and nobody ā€” not you, GHOST, or any army of Decepticons ā€” is taking them away.

Mooo-ving In

  • Bumblebee skipping out on a chance to talk to Optimus in favor of participating in the Malto's game night.

House Rules

  • Swindle still searching for Hardtop and risking being spotted by GHOST just for a chance to get a lead on his whereabouts.
  • Dot admitting that Decepticons aren't necessarily evil, only if they choose to be.

Classified

  • Dot's and Optimus' heart-to-heart about the GHOST situation.

Traditions

  • Wheeljack's and Twitch's growing father-daughter bond throughout the episode (since he built the drone that she scanned).
  • Robby and Alex teaming up against the arachnamechs.

Friends and Family

  • Bumblebee immediately pulls the Terrans into a Bear Hug once he sees they're okay.

Decoy

  • Despite complaining about having to teach the Transformers equivalent of rowdy teenagers earlier, Bumblebee thoroughly rebuffs Arcee's attempt to take his mentor position.
Bumblebee: These are my students! My responsibility! My mission! Iā€™m the one that belongs at their side!
    • Even before that, Bumblebee was fondly recalling adventures he's had with Twitch and Thrash, showing that he might complain about their antics, but the kids definitely weaseled their way into his spark.

Age of Evolution, Part 1

  • Dot immediately attacks Mandroid upon realizing he is the one behind the Seeker attack, and while she obviously doesn't take kindly to him almost harming her family, she makes it clear that she remembers fully well that he kidnapped the Terrans. If there was any doubt she considers Twitch and Thrash her children then it fully dies here.

Age of Evolution, Part 2

  • When Megatron laments that for all their efforts to peacefully co-exist, the Transformers always seem to end up having to fight their battles alone, Optimus has this to say:
Optimus: Look again, old friend. [gestures at the Terrans and the Malto family] This is the human-Cybertronian alliance. G.H.O.S.T. has growing to do, yes, but this is what we can achieve together, for the future of both our species.

Hashtag: Oops

  • Twitch clearly loves her new sister, and does everything she can to help her when she gets basically kidnapped by G.H.O.S.T.
  • Nightshade reveals they constructed a basement under the barn so the family can have more room since there are so many of them now.

Outtakes

  • Jawbreaker asks Megatron how he chose his alt-mode. Megatron says nobody has ever asked him that, clearly touched, and gets permission from Elita-One to sit down and answer Jawbreaker. Megatron explains how he used to be a Decepticon and when he joined Optimus towards the end of the war and had to earn his trust, he initially thought it was unfair he needed to scan an Earth vehicle for his alt-mode and give up his Cybertronian alt-mode, and refused. But then when his new allies were under attack by Seekers, Megatron knew he needed to provide air support and scanned his form to save his friends.
  • Elita herself is also very understanding of Jawbreaker's questions and struggles with choosing an alt-mode. She explains to him that if scanning a vehicle doesn't feel right to him he can scan something else if he wants, and she explains what a T-Cog is to him and how he has one just like all other Transformers, despite telling him shortly afterward how that is classified information.

Missed Connection

  • The friendship between Nightshade and Tarantulas is truly something to behold. Without hesitation and despite the initial hostility from Tarantulas, Nightshade helps him with his device that would allow him to live peacefully. Along with this, Tarantulas assures Nightshade that no matter what alt-mode they choose, they will always be Nightshade, as well as commending them for already knowing who they are at such a young age.
  • Later in the episode, Tarantulas ends up kidnapping Dorothy and Alex in a misguided attempt to keep Nightshade safe since he earlier overheard them talking about Nightshade, thinking they were keeping them prisoner.
  • Nightshade manages to talk Bumblebee out of arresting Tarantulas, and in return for this, Tarantulas protects Nightshade and their family by distracting GHOST.
