- Actor Allusion: In "Miss Cutesy Meow Meows", John DiMaggio plays a robot.
- Channel Hop: Halfway through season 1, new episodes moved from Nickelodeon to sister network Nicktoons.
- Crossdressing Voices: A lot of young boys on the show are voiced by Candi Milo, Maile Flannigan, Kari Wahlgren, Vanessa Marshall, Tara Strong, and Grey DeLisle.
- Invisible Advertising: Not only were the final three episodes not promoted, but they also aired at 4 AM on Nicktoons.
- Release Date Change: The show was meant to premiere in October 2015, but got bumped up to July 2015 for unknown reasons.
- Screwed by the Network: It's a Nicktoon that's not The Loud House or SpongeBob SquarePants. What else is new?
- First off, after only a few episodes, it moved from Saturday morning to Friday nights, where it and the other shows were beaten by Disney in ratings. After February 26, 2016, there was meant to be a new episode on March 4. It didn't air, and the show disappeared from the network. After a hiatus of at least 5-6 months, new episodes moved to sister network Nicktoons, which not a lot of people have. The last three episodes aired on August 10, 2018 at 4:00 AM.

- What Could Have Been: Cricket was originally supposed to be Mantis, but this was changed later to avoid confusion with another Mantis in another Nickelodeon show. Also, he was voiced by James Urbaniak in the pilot, with Paul Rugg taking over in the series.
