YMMV / Pig Goat Banana Cricket

• Awesome Music: The theme song, a progressively intensifying metal tune.
• Ho Yay: Pig seems to think of Angry Old Raisin as more than just his "Fourth Best Friend in the Whole Wide World". In "Goofy Turkey Zone" he wants to marry him.
• Jerkass Woobie: Banana in "Flowers for Burgerstein". As jerky as he is in other episodes, here he is cast aside by his father for messing up at a concert.
• Squick: Pig flooding the town with his urine. The urine looked like water but it still grossed out viewers.
• They Copied It, So It Sucks!:
  • A few viewers had the initial impression of a more bizarre SpongeBob SquarePants due to characterization similarities between Pig, Goat, Banana, Cricket and SpongeBob, Sandy, Squidward, and Plankton, respectively. Other than that, though, the shows are mostly different.
  • Others think of it as a more wackier version of Regular Show due to plots starting off normal and getting more outlandish.
• What Do You Mean, It's for Kids?: It's basically The Ren and Stimpy Show for a new generation, containing varying levels of Family-Unfriendly Violence, Black Comedy, and censor-dodging. Though it's a fairly tame example of this compared to some of its fellow shows.
• The Woobie: Cricket whenever things go wrong for him. Such as in "Goofy Turkey Zone" when no matter what he tried Goat rejected him each time and in the Slumber Party episode when he was injured trying to stop himself from picking his nose.
