- Colbert Bump: Granted the game isn't completely unknown, Pyrocynical's video on the game did give it a decent amount of exposure to those whom have never heard of the game.
- Minimalist Cast: Only four voice actors are credited for all of the characters in the game. Peter Jacobs provides the voice for four different characters.
- What Could Have Been: For quite a long time into production, the game was originally known as The Dark and had a very different main character, a government agent named Cross with explicit supernatural powers - he could utter spells to pull a gun out of an enemy's hands or destroy doors, among other things. An unlockable video shows what was supposedly the first level; almost all of the rooms seen there were reused in the final games, although for a later level.
