Trivia / Condemned 2: Bloodshot

• Creator Backlash: A developer from Monolith stated on NeoGAF that not everyone at the company was completely pleased with how Condemned 2 turned out, stating that the game being forced to have a multiplayer component hurt the single player. Said developer further stated that Monolith would prefer to just reboot the series if possible and turn the second game into Canon Discontinuity, wanting to return Ethan to being more like how he was in the first game.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Condemned 2 was only ever released for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, old platforms which are no longer supported. Unlike many 7th gen games (including the original Condemned as well as the F.E.A.R. series) it is also not backwards compatible on 8th gen or 9th gen consoles. Nightdive Studios has expressed an interest in porting the game to the PC as far back as 2016, but so far nothing has come of it.
• No Port For You: Unlike every other game by Monolith Productions, including the prior game, Condemned 2 was never released on PC with Monolith revealing in 2019 that it was the result of a publishing deal.
• The Other Darrin: Rosa Angel, Ethan, Malcolm Vanhorn and Ferrel got new voices. Also, Rosa's character design is drastically changed between games, going from looking like a stocky, middle-aged version of Halle Berry to looking like Jada Pinkett Smith (Niobe from The Matrix films).
