• Edited for Syndication: Some versions of this short remove the subplot of Mickey trying to get a stork out of the clock.
• Executive Meddling: On account of Donald being The Unintelligible, one particular line has been edited out of some VHS copies of this short and dubbed over with a line from a different short, and this print even accidentally made its way onto Mickey Mouse In Living Color, Vol. 1 and some other DVDs, as well as on the Treasures from the Disney Vault event on Turner Classic Movies. Thankfully, the uncut print was included in the Alice in Wonderland DVDs and has since also turned up on Disney Channel broadcasts. On Disney+, Donald's line has been partially (but not entirely) restored.
• What Could Have Been: An early outline had Mickey, Donald and Goofy running a clock repair business that boasts that they can repair any clock. The mayor (played by Pete), takes them at their word and have them repair the giant clock tower. Eventually, that was cut and the final cartoon opens on them already working on the clock tower.
