Love Live! Superstar!! Season 1
- Episode 8:
- As much as her joining is a foregone conclusion, it's sad to see how much Ren has had to endure alone up until this episode's revelations, and that her mother's hope for her to find her own way to happiness ended up having the opposite effect.
- Episode 10:
- Despite her usual facade, Sumire's actually lost most of her confidence in herself, despite the amount of work she puts into practicing. It all comes to a head after the other students feel she's not the best choice either, and she overhears Keke's promise to go back to Shanghai if they don't win; she finally buckles in front of the others and refuses to be the center, because she doesn't believe they can win with her there.
Love Live! Superstar!! Season 2
- Episode 9:
- Much like Ren did in Season 1, Sumire deciding to play the villain role and suggest leaving the first-years out of the Tokyo regionals to increase their chances of winning... because she alone knows about Keke's promise to go home if they don't. It very clearly weighs on her to do it, and her guilt is made even worse when the first-years all agree to it, for Liella!'s sake.
