103rd School Year (2023-24; Chapters 1-18)
- Chapter 4:
- Watching Tsuzuri struggle so desperately with communicating her feelings can be heartbreaking. She knows she's bad at expressing herself, and she can see the misunderstanding that it's caused with Sayaka, but she just doesn't know how to solve it.
Tsuzuri: Please wait... I feel like I'm drowning... - Chapter 8:
- The reveal of what happened between Kozue and Tsuzuri the year before, and how Kozue had resigned herself to silently shouldering the guilt for betraying Tsuzuri's trust for what she thought were selfish reasons.
- Chapter 10:
- Megumi finally admitting how frustrated she's been over her inability to dance again, and how much she's hidden her failures and suffering just to make sure Rurino stayed positive.
- Chapter 14:
- After repeated setbacks, Kaho's positivity finally breaks at the thought of the people who supported her eventually forgetting about her if they remain unable to stream, and returning to being all alone like she was as a child.
Kaho: It's the same...as before. The time when all I could do was gaze outside through the window in my room...it's the same... - Chapter 15:
- All through the chapter, it's pretty obvious that Kozue is avoiding talking about her own feelings about their loss. So it hits really hard when Kaho catches her crying at the end, and she finally vents all the feelings she's kept to herself.
- Chapter 18:
- Sachi's graduation, though it doubles as a heartwarming sequence as well. From the second-years going to see her in private to find out what was still bothering her, through both the private performance and the Fes x LIVE, and the final farewells afterwards.
