Tear Jerker / Dave the Barbarian

• The episode "Fiends and Family" will really make you feel sorry for Fang. To go into greater detail:
  • Throktar and Glimia (the parents of Fang and her two older siblings) have to start their journey to defeat all evil in the world all over again, meaning they'll be gone for even longer. While Dave, Candy and Oswidge are also saddened by Throktar and Glimia's absence, they try consoling Fang by claiming the King and Queen will come back eventually, but it doesn't do anything to placate Fang. Fang becomes depressed to the point of where nothing can cheer her up.
  • Chuckles (in his evil scheme of the episode) disguises himself as King Throktar, but while Candy, Dave and Oswidge ultimately see through the disguise, Fang refuses to listen to them and even has them thrown into the castle's dungeons—but in the end, Fang sees through the disguise and defeats Chuckles. Fang apologizes to the others about what she did, claiming (to paraphrase), "I've been missing Mom and Dad so much that I was willing to do anything for them to come back and stay home. Even throwing you guys into the dungeons."
