Tear Jerker / Aquamarine

• Claire nearly being thrown in the pool at the teen party. Remember that the reason she doesn't want to go in the water is because her parents drowned. The poor girl runs off in tears; a sad reminder that Kids Are Cruel.
• Aqua talking about how she saw a human couple in a paddle boat and that's what first told her about love. Claire realises she's talking about her parents.
• Hailey's Heel Realization, where she finally understands how hard her mother has worked for the move to Australia, and what she'd be forcing her to give up if she used her wish to make her stay.
  • For that matter, Hailey's sadness at having to move in the first place. When her mother asks about Aqua, Hailey just fires back that she's another friend she'll have to say goodbye to very soon.
• Aquamarine asking Raymond if he loves her. He says no because he barely knows her, and she's reduced to tears.
• Hailey's speech to Aqua, where she talks about how her father said he loved them and yet still walked out on his family for another woman - and she hasn't seen him since.
  But I guess that's just the way it is, and love doesn't always work!
• Claire and Hailey's big fight, where they get pretty personal with each other; Hailey even hitting below the belt when she insinuates that she's been Claire's Only Friend ever since her parents died.
